Where would any of this be, if it not be for the death and resurrection of our Christ? Where would our confidence be in Him if he still lies in the grave or if there were no empty tomb by which we can prove that our savior lives? Do we as Christians worship a dead Martyr who was a good man, a prophet a teacher, who taught us how we should turn the other cheek before he was unjustly sentenced to die upon the cross? Or are we celebrating this day that we worship and serve a resurrected Christ. Where would any of our studies be in Hebrews if Christ died bringing the end to the story and our hope?
