Our greatest concern is in taken the advantage afforded to us. The Advantage of the Cross. This advantage was afforded to us by Jesus’ work upon that cross. By trusting in him we have eternal life, we have been bathed and are spiritually baptized in Him at the very point we believe. That can never be taken away. Our purification is looking back at the cross, knowing that the penalty for sins were paid for in full, we are cleansed from our spiritual defilement when we name those sins to the Father. Having been cleansed we are then free to press onward and upward to a glorious life with Christ.
