The parable of vineyard given to those within an agricultural community. It is the continuing narrative of the first will be last and the last will be first principle. It also brings us to the understanding that there is a spiritual economy where there is Labor, and wages given for productive work and that there is a time to Labor and a time to receive what is due. All from this parable.
