Questions for Reflection:

1. At his baptism, Jesus heard God speak to him. What is the clearest God has spoken into your life?
2. Jesus knew that he was loved by the Father having heard a voice from heaven telling him. Do you find it easy or hard to accept that God loves you? What convinces you that he does, and what causes you to doubt it?
3. Jesus calls us all to a new way of life. Repentance, as we have seen, involves changing direction/ letting God change our habits/attitudes/ thinking. How has your thinking changed over time as God has been at work in you? (Hint: maybe you can think about how God might have changed your attitude / behaviour concerning relationships? money? prayer? forgiveness? even about Jesus himself.)
