Good morning, it is Kale and Company Live right here on your favorite radio station, WKXL, NHGalkRadio.com. Great to have you along with us. I want to tell you right off the top that we are on Facebook Live today. All right. And for all of you to see us in our Celtics glory today, as we get set for the big parade, not that we're going, but we're getting set for it anyway. In Boston, leaving at 11 a.m. from TD Garden after a ceremony in the garden for season ticket holders and other dignitaries. And then the parade will continue to City Hall Plaza in Boston. They're not getting off. There will be no everything that's going to be spoken is going to take place before the parade. And then they will proceed from TD Garden to City Hall Plaza down Trump on Street in Boston, ultimately winding up on Boylston Street, which is the end point of the Boston Marathon as well. This will not be a marathon. This will be a sprint. And I don't know how many duck boats are involved, but quite a few, quite a few. Do you think it really will be a sprint with all of those deck boats and stuff? I'm hoping it'll be a small crawl or a slow crawl. It'll be maybe a pub crawl. Yes. Well, that might be happening too. Hello, Ken and Kitty. Yeah. We have a Mr. Steve Fisher. Oh, my goodness. I was just Steve. Good morning to you. Good morning, Ken and Kitty. Hi there, Steve. I was just looking at Eliza's Facebook page. And I know you guys are down there in Jackson, Tennessee. And Steve, tell us what's happened so far in the first couple of days. It has been a very busy first couple of days. Eliza has competed in her fitness and wellness. So this close to competition on the first night is very well. And then last night, she competed in the gown competition. And from all accounts through other directors and people that we talked to was a big hit in that. It's typically not an award for that, but she definitely had some head turning for that. We had the opportunity to see Kitty, Ray and I to see her extensive wardrobe for the competition. And boy, it was just amazing, wasn't it? I know. In fact, I'm looking at the pictures right now, too, but I'm hoping we can talk. Oh, yeah, it's posted. So the lavender or the lilac dress that she wore at one point, I don't know which, if this was for one of the formal competitions or what, Steve? But oh, my gosh, I love this lilac one. She looks fantastic in everything, but I love the lilac. It's very little bit. That's okay, Dad. You should be. The lilac dressed in coat was for her check-in. Oh, my gosh, really? That was just for check-in. That was just for check-in. Oh, my goodness. That's quite a check-in. And you know what, Steve, this was awesome, too. And I don't know if folks out there know how, how, I don't know if it's like intense. You'd think about these things, but lilac being what? The safe flower of New Hampshire and this dress is like a lilac color? Was that done on purpose? It was done on purpose. See? That's amazing. That's it. It was, it was, it was to pay tribute to the Hampshire and check me in at that time. And then it was sort of like occurred for pageant people. It was um, paying homage to Miss Congeniality also. Oh, the movie Miss Congeniality? Yeah, that's, that's exactly, almost exactly what, Sandra. I've been both characters for this project. Wow. It's one of my favorite movies. And we're talking about the Miss Volunteer America pageant with Steven Fisher, the dad of Eliza, who is in the competition. She is Miss New Hampshire volunteer. And so, well, what takes place later on today, Steven? Later on, the same thing is the one that everybody is looking forward to. It's talent night. Alright. Talent. Can you share her talent? I can't. Eliza will be cap dancing to Bill. Oh my gosh. What's, what's the song? It's called Bill. Bill. I know the song, but only because Eliza's dancing to it. Bill, I know. My girl Bill by Bill Stafford, my Jim Stafford, but I don't think it's that one. Don't think it's that one. No, a little more, a little more current. Oh my gosh. Well, can I love tab dancing? How's she holding up under the pressure? I'm sure she's handling it very well. She has stepped into her own during that. It's, it's amazing to see, you know, she had a certain thought about what it was going to be like down here. And then it, it always gets turned on its head and she's just the gap to overcome. They have her going off at 6am for a couple of things that she needed for the finish out the next couple of days. And they have, they have the girls up at 6am. They probably got home about same, or after their hotel, but at the same time we got back to ours last night at 10.30, 11 o'clock. Full days. Very full days of rehearsals and interviews and all of the stuff that comes along with participating. So how many, how many young ladies in the competition? There are 51 contestants and I think 50 showed up. If somebody had something come up, but they're total 50. They like to say that your son has a better chance playing in the Super Bowl than being on one of these national pages just because of the sheer size of the team. Yeah, yeah. Well, that, that is amazing. And I know you're very proud of her as, as you well should be. And we wish all of you the best throughout the remainder of the competition. When does it wind up? It will finish up tomorrow. I think when they do the finals, they'll announce the top of 16, I believe, and then they just whittle it down from there till so we get the last one standing. And that will be live, right? Steve? Well, or no? We have our hopes in our prayer. Yeah, that's right. Yeah. Well, as far as, I think we're all concerned, all of those young ladies on stage in the competition are winners and all are to be congratulated. And Stephen, I really appreciate you keeping us up to date on what's happening in Jackson, Tennessee. How is Jackson? Is it a fun city? It is a beautiful city. They have a fantastic historic downtown area, much like Concord, just quite a bit bigger. A lot of places to walk to do. But that's, you know, that are found by too much just because of the humidity. So, right. We've, we've averaged 89 and humidity up in the 80s, the whole time, which actually, I think, yesterday, we were cooler than you guys. So, yeah, I believe that. Yeah, I believe that. Yeah, my hey, Steve, outside of work up here, it was like my car said 101. This is the report from, yeah, I'm sorry. This is the report from Tennessee, how's it going? Tom Raffio just walked in, Stephen, and I know he wishes lies are the best of all. Of course, yeah. Following it. Good morning, Tom. Good morning. And, yeah, your weather might be a little cooler than ours. I'm sure. Ironically. Yeah. Yeah. But Stephen, we appreciate it. And I hope that when I, when are you leaving Jackson? Let's see the first two kids leave on Sunday. And then the rest of us, like a big day Monday, we'll bring our lives back. We have a boyfriend to the airport and then we'll just go in north with the wardrobe, which has been worn. There you go. I'm going to Jackson to mess around. That's our, our lives is going to Jackson to win that crown. To win the crown. We have some talented people on the show, Stephen, as you know. But, but I won't give up my daytime job. Don't worry. Well, if you can check in Monday at some point of, you know, well, we'll be right here. So check in and let us know what happened over the weekend. You bet. All right. Best to Don and Eliza and everyone there, Stephen. Thank you very much. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Thank you very much for calling in, Stephen. I know you're busy. And if you could check in Monday, that would be, that would be fabulous. I will do my best and talk to you guys. Have a great week there. Thanks a lot. You as well as Stephen Fisher and Jackson, Tennessee. I love this live reporting. I'm breaking notes right here on WK. And it's early there, right? Earlier. It's an hour one. Yeah. Yeah. Not two, but you know, he was just saying. I don't know. I know. I know. But you know that they have them out like it's six in the morning. The participants. You know, I feel badly called in at that point because that was Kitty's chance to dominate. I know. And I do have some breaky news after the break. All right. Great news here on WK XL and brothers donuts. Thank you and brothers donuts. You can hold them up to camera three right over there. Get a good tight shot. All right. Can't chop them. We'll be back right after these words. Kaling Company live. WK XL. Kitty Ray in the house, resident Flick chick, president and CEO of Northeast Delta Dental Tom Raphael. And this program is proudly presented by Northeast Delta Dental. That was Ray for his time. No rehearsal. We'll be right back again. Our donut delivery guy just left the studio, but he'll be back. We refer to Tom Raphael, president and CEO of Northeast Delta Dental. And Kitty Ray is in the house. Our resident Flick chick was watching more wrestling documentaries last night. And not a choice. And of course, yesterday, day one of market days in downtown Concord, which kind of got cut short because of the torrential downpours that we had in the area. Yes. Yeah. You know, I went downtown. And I did see you guys at the WK XL radio station booth. Where is that? It's right by on Main Street by fabulous looks boutique. Yeah. One of my favorite places. Yeah. Merrimack County savings back. Another right across the street. If you could see my checkbook there, you'd know that truly I'm not. Well, I know it's next to right. We're right in front of fabulous looks right. That's the name of it. Yeah. Yeah. It's a great location. Well, what were you referring to? No. Well, that's what you're referring to. Yeah. No, I love all clothing stores. 50% off their rack outside. Yes. No, there's a number up. You know, I'm going to mention these because I want you guys to stop by. But you have got Godwanda. I love that. I stopped in. I was there when it was raining really bad last night, a coworker and mine. And she and I were downtown walking around, stopped a few places. And we even though it was raining, the stores were still open. I mean, it really was sad. And when the weather is that bad because there really was a severe thunderstorm. But we needed it. We did. They always say it. Goodness. Yesterday. You know, it's funny because I was talking with Andrew about this, our esteemed producer, our esteemed executive producer. Oh, man. I keep getting promoted. Yes. And we were talking about it this morning that, you know, we were talking about earlier in the week, the great fair fries that they have at market days and similar events, but market days specifically. And I said, how much I like them with vinegar as a lot of people do. And it was right across from us. The French fries stand, the Philly subs, you know, and all that great stuff, all the great fair foods. And because it was so hot yesterday, it really didn't entice me at all. It didn't. That like the hot food really didn't entice me. I mean, I didn't get any french fries yesterday. Maybe today. I think you needed a good nap. We got the Kona ice, which is good. The ice, the yes, the ice stuff was good. Yes. But that was right off to our right as we looked at it across. We were surrounded by food. It was. Oh, yeah. Oh, anytime you're just too hot to eat anything. Yes. It was except for the ice. We got that ice, that Kona ice. Yeah, the weather has been kind of hot and strange. Yes. We were lucky Wednesday night. We put on, we sponsored what's called the granite games, which is basically freshmen to junior year high school athletes in different sports like volleyball and soccer and softball. And they play region. So in some situations, they're playing with people that they compete with during the season, whatever. But remember we had happened Wednesday night too, but it literally stopped for like three hours. And we got all the games in. Wow. And that was an HTI. And HTI. And guess what? After that, I saw you won W1. You are. Oh, that's right. They interviewed me for because we are a major sponsor of that. And I think people don't realize that it's such a great opportunity for kids to get to know each other. And we have some great coaches like Reverend Rob Grebel, who's been the handover coach for like two decades and an amazing man and the people that run the softball and the field hockey and volleyball equally esteemed. So it was great. And I'm glad we got some coverage because people don't realize that there is such a thing as the granite games. Most parents of athletes do, but a lot of people don't. So anyway, that was kind of fun. But thank God for the weather clearing for like a two hour window. Is it over now? It's over. Yeah. It's over. It's over. It's over. But all over, but to shout it. You mentioned Rob Grebel. He was a former neighbor of mine in Manchester. And he's an amazing guy, a coach at the Hampshire College. And when it was New Hampshire College, you're not SNHU. And he coached the last division to hockey championship. And they in the Hampshire College, they lost that final. Because there is no division two anymore. Yeah. That was like the last year is division one is division three, but there's no division two. Kind of strange, but that's the way it works out. And so we are here. We're on Facebook live on the WKXL Facebook page. Wave everybody. And Stephen Fisher is checked in. And he was watching us from Jackson, Tennessee. I'm going to Jackson. Look out Jackson town. Yes. But so Tom, you tease before the break. Oh, I have so I have so much to say. The floor is yours. Can I? You go right in. Okay. So I found out last night that we got a national Baldrige site visit. It'll be in July. So just without boring the listening audience, the Baldrige performance excellence is for companies that follow total quality and level five leadership. So it's a very rigorous process. So we are the first. I'm going to check this out, but I'm pretty sure this is true. We are the first New Hampshire company ever to get a site visit. So we were pretty excited. And then unrelated to that, today, when after this radio show, we have the best company to work for judges coming into our office for that, that contest. And hopefully we'll end up in the top five. And then as you both know, Sunday, we have the race to the cog, racing the cog race kind of running on the other side of Mount Washington. I think I'm going to go on the train and not run and let Ellen run. Good idea, Ken. I think that's a great idea. Yeah. So Joe Gray isn't going to this. He was. He won his eighth Mount Washington last week, of course, but he'll be back for the Loon race in July. And then for my normal running friends, we do have the Capital City Classic 8am on Sunday. It's a 5k coincides with I think the end of market days. And then I just want to give a big shout out to Barbara Higgins. I just, I was a couple minutes late, I was over at Memorial Field. And there's a million kids there doing track and having just so much fun. And she's like riveted by the older kids and running. So Barb does a great job. So that was where I was. And then finally, for my veteran's friends, give me a call at 223-1300. I'm getting about five calls a week for veterans who are in oral health pain. If you're not eligible for Medicaid or the VA, you know, we'll take care of you. But I'm literally getting like five calls a week. Well, and I bet some some attributable to this radio. Yeah, with the 1.3 million people that listen to us, you know, within that mix is 1% veterans. Yeah, there you go. And I and I and I said this at the frost event, but I really appreciate that I have friends and media like you can so that I can get the word out. Well, I mean, we're all appreciative of what you guys do with Delta Dental. And we are happy to have you on our shows. We won't mention any of the other ones that you're on, but we're happy to have you. And I do and I do run a dental insurance company. Hey, I did talk to some of your coworkers. And yes, you do. You do run it and they love you running it too. Yes. Thanks. I have just such a great team that allows me to get out there. But seriously, Ken, thank you for the opportunity. You're most welcome. You guys do so much good in the community. We had four veterans in the studio on Wednesday. Really? I missed that. Sorry. And three of them were playing music playing the blues right here. Right here. I believe. Yeah. Wow. Yeah. I missed that. And you know, Tom, we talk about you being everywhere and out and about. So last night, I did go to market days, as I said, and I was listening to some music and buy Centennial Square. And there is this very large banner Delta Dental. I took a picture of it and sent it to Ken. But, yeah, you guys are everywhere. Yeah. We definitely want to support Main Street and Concord and just love the love the community. And I'm glad that despite the rain, it was a relative success. That's good. Yeah. And more more to come today at 10 and stop by our WKXL booth and say hello. There might be some surprises there for you today, as I understand it. Yeah. Yeah. So check in and right across the street from Merrimack County Savings Bank. And it's a great location. Yesterday was very, very hot. And Ray Dudley was there. He was signing autographs. Oh, absolutely. Yeah. And Andrew was there most of the day, all of the day, I think. And Kat was there the whole day. Yeah. Yeah. It was more than a full day. He's still sweating. Yes, I bet. And so, but we'll be back today, say hello and stop by and make your presence known. I think it'll be a much nicer day, weather-wise. Ken, you're going to be here, too. They can come by and meet them. I will be there. Meet the man out there for a while. Exactly. And you're a something sure. Yeah. We haven't talked about the Celtics. We will. We will. I'm in such a great place with him. Jason and Jaylen. Right. You don't want them to be Carl Malone and Chuck Barkley. Never having one. Right. Now they have accomplished the mission. Mission accomplished. We will take a break to maybe mention the Celtics a little bit more as we continue. Cale & Company live. WKXL Parade begins at 11 from TD Garden. And we'll end up on Boilston Street, where they end the Boston Marathon every year. But there's there's expected to be a million people lining the streets of Boston today. Wow. And it's going to be, I imagine some traffic jams getting in, but take the tea or take a bus. But I always recommend public transportation. And take your patience when going to Boston. Yes. All of your patience. Yes. They might need your assistance. We'll take a break. Cale & Company continues right here. WKXL NHChalkRadio.com. Proudly presented by Northeast Delta Dental. We'll be right back. Welcome back. Cale & Company live here on WKXL NHChalkRadio.com. You'll never believe who just checked in to our Facebook live telecast. The rain man himself. Ray Dudley. WKXL's own Ray Dudley just checked in. He's probably practicing his art, you know, signature for his art, especially for his fans that will show up today downtown to see Ray and to see Andrew and Kat. And Ken. Well, yeah, we'll all be there again at some point or another today. So that's a good thing. And it's a lot of fun. And I think there'll be a larger crowd today than there was yesterday because yesterday was just incredibly hot. As you know, it reminded me of a song as a matter of fact. Could we play that song that it reminded me of, Andrew? Just a rainy night in Georgia. That's not the one I was thinking of. (Music) Hot down summer in the city. Back on my neck getting dirty and breaded. Been down isn't it a pity. Doesn't seem to be a shadow in the city. All around people looking half dead walking on the sidewalk harder than a match. But the night is different. We'll go out and find a girl. Come on, come on. And that's all life. Just by being, it'll be all right and made. Don't you know it's a pity. The days can't be like the morning sun. In the city in the summer. In the city. Cool town meeting in the city. Just so fine and looking so pretty. Cool cat looking for a kitty. Gonna look at every corner of the city. Looking for kitty. Just like a bus stop running up the stairs gonna meet you on the rooftop. But the night is different. We'll go out and find a girl. Come on, come on. And that's all life. Just by being, it'll be all right and made. Don't you know it's a pity. The days can't be like the night. In the summer. In the city. In the city. Summer. In the city. There you go. Someone in the city loving spoonful. Oh my gosh. God loving that. I used to love the love. Love the loving spoonful. Yes. Do you believe in magic? Oh my gosh. That is a great app. That's very appropriate. Yeah. Do you believe in magic? It was hot. It was hot. Oh yeah. I love the city in Concord. Yes it was and it was you know really unbelievably hot. That record breaking. It was. It truly was my temperature on my car yesterday said 101 at 1210. And ironically you know what? Just as summer arrived. Yes. At 451. Yesterday afternoon the skies opened. I was on the field. I was at Memorial. That's right. You're a double header. Well I was supposed to have a double header. But as it turned out there were no games at all between. Was Coach Bly there? Coach Bly was there. Yes. The captain was there. And without to kneel. And he was. Turns out those two didn't really get along. That's why I had the musk for that love. But John Bly was there and he was hoping to get two games in yesterday. But it has been postponed until July 3rd. At Memorial Field. That's the two teams. But you know what I'm really really happy about is the opener where I threw out the first pitch that you introduced me. That they came back because when I left they were losing like three nothing. Right. And so it's great. And post 21 won that game over Rochester. Post number seven. And now they were supposed to play sweetie post last night. But again. Wow. I have never been as drenched in my life. I was you know, sobbing wet and you know what? It felt good. It felt good. It felt good because it was so hot. All day it was like getting a free shower. You know. Like I said, I was walking Main Street at market days and it started sprinkling and it was like, oh, I think and we could see the really the storm from the distance. And it was like, this might be a good time to go and get an appetizer. And so we went in and it maybe five minutes after it just started pouring the lightning, the thunder. It was it was something that I do like thunder lightning. I like thunder and lightning. And after though, the the food tents and other places did reopen for a short time. And music was still playing. In fact, there was a band that kept playing right through the thunderstorm. Right through the thunderstorm. That was lava lamp. Wasn't it? Yes. Yes. Lava llama. Lava llama. But the music played on. I did. So this is a song of the day. The music died. But it didn't die in this game. It did. Oh my God. That's the day the music did. That's my great music. And you know what? I'm American pie. That one. You got it. There you go. I wanted to mention one performer today. I don't just just want to single him out because he was in our studio last year. Who's that Bill Cullen? No, no, no, no. Bill was not here last year. He wasn't in any place last year. Didn't come up. No, he didn't. But he did. I used to love his glasses. No, and I was coke bottled to last year. Yeah, we're not getting money. It's like I'm an L used to wear. Looking at Chili's kiddies glasses. Quick look that way. So last year we had a music week. Back in September. Yeah. And it was a great week. But the performer that stood out and left the biggest memory in my mind of that week of great performers that we had on was a young gentleman from Concord by the name of Ryan Deachman. And he was what an incredible voice he has. He just I remember our general manager cap was recording that. And she is an outstanding singer. And she was blown away also by Ryan Deachman. How old is he? I think he's like 17. Oh my God. So he's at Concord High School? I'm not sure if he has graduated or but nonetheless he just came in there. His mom brought him in and they got through the potholes. And he was just outstanding. Just outstanding. And he will be performing today on the homegrown stage at 1130 this morning, 1130 this morning. Ryan Deachman will be on the homegrown stage, which is at Bicentennial Square, which is like diagonally across the street from where we are. I think Ryan will have more people there than people watching the Celtics for eight on TV. Possibly. I think so. Yeah, that's a great place. That's a great venue. It is. It is. And we had Lucas Gallow on on what was it yesterday? Any relationship to Lucas McCain? Maybe. Maybe. Or Joey Gallow. I'm not sure. Why am I thinking wine? So he'll be there today. And Lucas Gallow hats off to him. He's coordinated the homegrown stage for the last 13 years. Great Concord High graduate. He graduated. Like a former producer. Yeah, I was going to say he graduated the same year as our good friend, the former producer of-- Who shall go name less Baltimore? Right, right, right, right. Name and competition. But we have a crowd today. We have, as I mentioned, a raise checked in. Annie is out there, Bob. Bob DeMaris. Bob DeMaris. You know, Bob? Yeah. Great musician and has a great music school in Concord. And Manchester, I should say, in Manchester. I beg your pardon. But we'll have to have Bob back. And Bob was on a number of shows that we did in the past. So good morning to everybody. Tell a friend, tell a neighbor that we're on Facebook live because we didn't really publicize it. And don't make sure you drive up to Franklin next week for these donuts. No, his brother's donuts, which were a big hit. And Bob Washington, they were. They went through them like crazy runners. Oh my gosh. People were coming over going, I heard there's brothers donuts. And truly, they wiped out like 50 dozen. Yeah, ridiculous. It was. I was like the donut queen there. I was pushing donuts and books. And all these runners, they weigh like 100 pounds and they're-- I know. But they did it after though. Yeah, that's true. And I did, speaking of brothers donuts, we also dropped them off at Memorial Field today. Nice. All the kids. All the kids there. Very nice. Boy, that is something. We're spreading the word about brothers donut. Yeah, number two in the in the Hampshire. Yeah. Not that they need it because they've been famous for quite some time. But the donuts are just unbelievable. It's like Ken, he's famous. But you know, we augment, we supplement, we reinforce his greatness. We appreciate. I wouldn't be as great as I am if it weren't for co-workers and co-hosts like you guys. But even though that-- My career would have ended long ago. You know, even if you're highest at the level, you always need to be recognized and thanked again. You know what I'm saying? Everyone needs a pen on the bag. So, yes. I like that. Yeah. It's a good expression. We didn't get to the Celtics and wealth. We will. We will. We have birthdays. We have Celtics talk. Oh, what else? Kitty is appropriately dressed today. Oh, she's got her Chuck Taylor's on too. Look at that. Oh, my God. She's got her Chuck's on too. Yes. There you go. Very appropriate. Hey, I'm something. I'm not sure what, but-- She's going to be in Boston tonight a little bit after the parade. Hey, you know my grandson's down there at the Berkeley Music School. Incredible. For three, four days. And tonight we're going to see Hootie and the Blowfish, but more importantly to me. No. Bear naked ladies. The glue. You know, if I had a million dollars-- Remember that song if I had a million dollars? Yeah. And so many more. But anyway-- I'm looking for it today. And Andrew told me yesterday how they got their name. Maybe he'll tell us in the next-- Oh, yeah. I'll be sick. And we'll go over that after the break. Oh, yeah. We have to take a break. Kaling Company Live would not be on the air without the sponsorship of Northeast Delta Dental. We'll be right back. Welcome back, Kaling Company Live here on WKXL and hchockradio.com, presented by Northeast Delta Dental. And Andrew Gibson, our esteemed executive producer, told me yesterday, as we were at the market days, how the Bear Naked Ladies got their name. How was it, Andrew? So, so when they were first getting started, as a-- I mean, again, so it's hard to kind of gaze their style because they kind of have like a mix of like rock and pop. So they were trying to figure out like what on a marquee would attract attention. So they were having a hard time coming up with a name. So they came up with the name Bear Naked Ladies because if you put that on a marquee, people are going to be interested and they're going to want to take a peek and see what's going on. And it turns out there's not a single lady in the band. So, wow, that, you know, very creative. They start with-- It's kind of like the fun bunch, you know. It's the fun bunch. You get a good label and people will follow. Yeah. So, but I love their music. I really do. And I've only seen them once previously in concert and that was in Guilford at Meadowbrook. Yeah. And they were great there and I'm sure they'll be great tonight at Fenway Park. Speaking of Meadowbrook, I'm going to go to Luke Bryan in July. All right. Yeah. And actually stay for the concert because-- Come on. No, no, because what I do is in years past, I, you know, I talk to the brokers, the insurance brokers. And then Ellen and I leave and she's heading towards the stands. We have like perfect tickets. Yeah. I go, no, we'll go in this way. Yeah, like she didn't-- She didn't understand. Tom. And she was particularly perturbed last year. As she should. Because as we were leaving two women from Orange Theory came up to me and said, "Well, we lost our tickets." And I go, "No problem." I pull off the two tickets from my-- From your wife's looking at you like, "Okay, honey." But we haven't talked about this out yet. But before I do, I just want to, again, thank you, Ken, for allowing me to get the word out. But Medicaid is going really well. We've got 165 providers. So if you're on Medicaid, we have access every weekend. There is a mobile dental clinic. So this weekend, it's up in the upper valley. So that's what's happening there. And they, and for my veteran's friends, just give me a call at 223-1300 if you're not eligible for Medicaid. But on to the Celtics. Yeah. And, well, we did mention you on Wednesday, when the veterans were in here, I mentioned that the health benefit, their dental benefit for veterans that you fought for, for 25 years to get accomplished. And the governor did a nice proclamation on it a couple of Thursdays ago. So it was kind of nice. But it's, I'm seeing, I'm talking to about five or five a week. So it's definitely a need. Now, as far as the Celtics, here's one of the reasons why I'm happy. Two major reasons. There is when the Celtics win a championship. So this is the 13th in the 21st century, right? Six, six Patriots, four Red Sox, two now Celtics and one Bruins. Bruins should have had more, but that's a different story. So it's 13 championships and, you know, whatever, 24 years. It's pretty cool, right? So we give hats to all of our employees. So those people that have been around with me since the year 2000 have like, we'll have 13 hats. A lot of caps. Yeah. So it's, it's kind of cool. So there's a big positive vibe in the office when the, when the, when this Boston sports teams does well. And the other thing is for, you know, for Jason and Tatum and Jalen Brown to sort of put up with everything. And then they, they persevered and they're still only 26 and 27 people forget that's like when the first year Michael Jordan won a championship. Right. He was in the league, what eight years before he won it. Right. Because they were faced. The Celtics are really great then in Detroit. And now Larry Bird, I know won his second year. So he was more like 24. But, but the whole point is they have a long career ahead of him. I didn't want them to be like Carl Malone and John Stockton and Barkley and even Pat Ewing. Right. Never, never having one. But I think one of the keys now, Tom, I'm going to put you on the spot here. If you had had an MVP vote, who would you have voted for? Well, you know, right before it can announce Ken texted me a kitty. And I go jail in Brown. So I, I could have went with either way, but I think his level of a positive aggression. And I mean that in a positive way, I think was the difference in the way he played defense on Donch. However, Jason Tatum had the better stats. And I think, you know, I would have been perfectly fine if Jason had won it too. And that there could have, there were 11 votes and Brown won 7 to 4 over Tatum. There was a way for time. I'll explain that in just a second. But if I had a vote, it wouldn't have been either one of them. Oh, you won't be true? True holiday would have been would have been my pick because, hey, you know what? They were together seven years and did not win a championship together until true holiday came a lot. And there are other reasons too. Porsingas helped, you know, more during the regular season than the playoffs and and certainly Derek White was very instrumental. So he's the only guy to have to kind of re-read up. Everybody else has kind of signed up for a while. So that's right. Is Porsingas? Yeah, yeah. But of course his health as soon as someone was saying on radio that like his, he goes, Porsingas was walking around and bare feet and his feet are totally flat. So they're concerned about his health. Guys like seven, three. Right. Yeah. And he's like a pretzel. I'm truly when you're that tall and he's very thin. Yeah. Like like another Chris said. Yes. And I always say that. I was doing well for the Atlanta Braves. Doing well. But it's only a matter of time, Tom, as you know. That's true. But at any rate, you know, holiday, you think about it. They didn't win a title for seven years. I know one of the big reasons why I'm not going to get into it now. Mark is smart. Right. Right. They bring in Drew Holliday and look what happens. Yeah. Yeah. It's credit to Brad Stevens. I mean, really be who put this roster together. I mean, it's an amazing roster. Truly is. And then you have to give a shout out to Danny too, Danny, because he drafted Tatum and Brown when other teams went ahead and picked like Mark L. Foltz and things like that. Right. Yeah. Right. The Celtics have the number one pick that year and traded down, traded down to get tated. Wow. That was like a red hour back steal. Yeah. They traded down and then they got tated. Right. At number three. Yeah. Yeah. And Mark L. Foltz. I mean, he's still playing in the NBA, but nobody knows where. I was going to say, well, I can tell you. I can tell you. I think Orlando is something I don't know. But he is always injured. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But that was a great pick. And the year before Jalen Brown was number three and everybody said, who's this guy? Well, they bringing him in. He was not really a known college player. Yeah. Out at Cal Berkeley. But so I was listening to the owner in a different station, Wes, and wick, excuse me. And he said that, you know, right after the championship win, that he did Danny and he were texting and he did thank him for the setting, the foundation with Brown and Tatum. So yeah. So, you know, it's just like, you know, and Brad Stevens, obviously, will, will get a ring because he orchestrated a lot of it. But I feel the same way about Danny Ange this time around because he certainly contributed as I fell about Dan Duquette when the Red Sox won in 2004 because he put a lot of pieces. Right. He signed Manny Ramirez. Yeah. Exactly. So, you know, I, you know, they wouldn't give a ring to Danny Ange, I'm sure, as they did not to Dan Duquette, which I think is a sin. But nonetheless, what was Dan's famous line? We were in first place more than any other team, even though he had been fourth. Right. Right. Right. Exactly. But those Red Sox are on a roll these days, just a game out of a wild card right now. They fast, too. You know, the stealing. Right. I mean, you know, not because Tom knows back in the 60s, nine stolen bases was the season season. Yeah. I'm amazed on that. I'll hear like, Oh, my God. Dom Demasio led the league it with 15 stolen bases. Yeah. That's something. But that was before our time. Yeah. But like when Gary Geiger always used to lead the team in stolen bases. Seven. Like, yeah, five, seven, whatever. Yeah. Yeah. And you know that Yaz once had 23 stolen bases in 1970, he had 40 home runs and had 23 stolen bases. So he was like a 40, 20 guy. People don't realize that. Yeah. How do you guys remember these things? Well, we don't even know what we had for lunch yesterday. I know. The smart baseball. We're good. You sports guys. Well, I do. I do. I know what I had for lunch. And it was very good. And thanks to my friend, John Leahy for lunch yesterday. We had that doesn't count a little lunch together. John Leahy reminded them. Yeah, it's right. But here we go for birthdays today. Birthdays, June 21st, 2024, which is a national selfie day. Today is national selfie day. There you go. They're taking selfies in the studio right here, folks. That's why we go to the bang. Bernie Coppell. Oh, from love, from love boat. Yep. Dr. Adam Bricker from love boat and how old is Bernie Coppell? I have in a clue. I tell me I want to go first. Got me to go first. I don't know. He's 78. I think he's older than that. So I'll go 79. 91. 91. 91. Oh my god. He's 91. We blew that. How about the actor Chris Pratt? Any guesses on him? John. Can I say 40? I think it's 40. No, I think he's a little older than that. So I'm going to go with 45. Bingo! Kansas City. Here I come. And here's two ironic ones. Meredith Baxter used to be Meredith Baxter, Bernie. Yeah. And Michael Gross of Family Ties. They were the couple. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. It's okay. Both born on this date. How many years ago? Oh, god. 80. 75. 77. 77. They're both 77. Twin separated for it. That's something. I used to love Meredith Baxter. Yeah, she was pretty. Particularly with the three names, you know. That's right. And I never saw one addition of Family Ties. I saw a lot of them. And eight is enough. Oh, no, it's a different song. Thanks to Tom Rapio. Getting ready. We'll be at market days today and tomorrow. So stop by and say hello to us right across from Burbank County Savings Banks. Remember to always look on the bright side of life. Thank you, brothers. And we are presented by Northeast Delta Dental. Have a great weekend, everybody. [Music]
