I'm your host, Amla Finovia, and today we're talking about what could possibly be the next Dylan Mulvaney, although I'm not that convinced because this guy's trolling, or at least it seems to be trolling, is not that successful. I apologize for my voice in advance, you girls have been a little sick, strictly sickly, but we're going to do the show, nonetheless the show must go on. Today we're going to talk about Josh Cider, he was a former bachelorette contestant on season 11 of The Bachelorette, and he's steeped himself in many a controversy, which we're going to get to in this whole timeline of him now identifying as trans, saying that he's a trans woman, and I'm going to ask you guys whether or not you believe this story. By the time we get through it, but of course before we get into all that we have Taylor in Nashville. The next Dylan Mulvaney, here we go again, let's see how this unfolds. Yeah, it's going to be an interesting one. I say the next Dylan Mulvaney, because Josh Cider has been doing like day X of being a woman and taking us through this journey of transitioning, but first of all let's give you a little bit of background. As I said he was on season 11 of The Bachelorette, I think he was eliminated within the first week of the show, so if you're part of like Bachelord Nation or Bachelorette Nation and you guys watch this show, you may recognize this guy, and he did this whole scandal last year, and I'm going to say I think he did it allegedly, allegedly, let's put it out, so I don't want to get sued for this. But in August of last year, Josh Cider on Instagram made this post that, you know, said it's with an extremely heavy heart that we announced on his behalf that Josh Cider has died. D-E-A-D dead is what they said he was on his Instagram, and they didn't go into much detail as to how he died, but it was an announcement on behalf of his family on his official Instagram saying that he died. Now was this true? No, he did not die. So you have all these different publications when you look up his name, like people, variety, saying, yo, this guy was dead, and they had published it and did all these videos about it, and now they had to declare that he was in fact not dead, and that was an update to the story. Now, he claimed that somebody hacked his Instagram account and announced that he was dead, and that's how all of this happened, and it wasn't his fault, it was just some malicious person who wanted to make these posts and really exploit him because he had posted previously that he had struggled with his mental health with things like manic disorder, bipolar disorder, all these different things that he had apparently been struggling with, and he had gone through a suicide attempt and that this person had hacked his account to exploit that story and post about his death. The story starts to change as we move forward, so it's interesting that you have this reality star who goes on bachelor at season 11 gets out in the first week, goes on to accrue a little bit of fame, a little bit of attention, viewership, cloud, whatever you want to call it, and then has this, you know, fake death posts that apparently was the result of a hack on his Instagram, which like, who is going to hack some obscure season 11 contestant of the bachelor at and say that he's dead, I don't know, maybe somebody out there is going to go out and do those things, but he had to clear that up and say, no, it wasn't me. Now that was last year, let's move forward to 2024, where in May of this year, he announces that he's now transitioning. Now this comes off the heels of other announcements, he came out as bisexual and said not only am I a bisexual man, but I'm also going to marry a man and he had this swift engagement in marriage with a man by the name of David, which apparently is going on no longer. So I think we're just moving on to different phases of throwing out an identity, seeing if it sticks, like spaghetti to the cabinet, and seeing whether or not it gets us attention. And this might be a mix of different personality disorders, or things that he's struggling through with his mental health, but we will get there. Let's read his post coming out as trance, it says, dear warriors, I've struggled with my gender identity and resulting feelings of guilt and shame for as long as I can remember. I spent the last three decades taking great pains to keep this side of me private. I felt I had no choice given my upbringing in a strictly religious conservative family. As I've gotten older, I have tried my hardest to project the expected image of a strong masculine son and brother. However, I no longer want to hide who I am, and I no longer want to deal with the mental turmoil that comes with suppressing such an important part of me. So I ask for your thoughts and prayers and patience as I transition. I know it will take time for everyone, including myself to adjust. I simply ask that you accept me for now, just as you did before. I love you all. Jay. Now he's claiming that his new name is Jay and not Josh. And that if you refer to him as Josh, you are dead naming him. Even though his Instagram handle remains Josh Cider official, okay, might be a mistake. You would just forgot to go and alter the Instagram name as we transition. Or maybe we want all of the different attention seeking choices that we're making to be found under one name, Josh Cider on social media and through all these different publications. And you guys might be looking at me being omele, you're being a little bit harsh. What if this is genuinely somebody who is experiencing gender dysphoria and is coming forward to talk about that and has gone through all this turmoil through being a reality star and through their mental health and through coming out his by and being married to a man. And now they just want to be accepted for who they are. I'm going to show you some videos of Josh Cider here through his transition. And you let me know whether or not you're getting notes of troll here, because that's what I'm getting from, from our homeboy, Josh. Okay. Let's watch video number one. Hey guys. One of the things I am most appreciative of is the amount of freedom I have now through makeup and clothes to just express myself. When I was a man, there really wasn't that much that I could do. And I feel like now with the makeup and the outfits, there's just so many more ways I can express myself and the makeup I can do. And I just really enjoy it. So if you have any makeup or fashion and style tips, please send them my way, and I'll do the same for you. Okay. So let me just follow the logic here. As a man, weren't you capable of buying makeup and putting that on your, your face the whole time that you were a man, you could have done this. But now I guess you must come out as a woman and say your pronouns or she or her and your name is not Josh. It's Jay in order to put on makeup and have this freedom of expression that he claims to be having in this journey. I don't understand what about that statement means that you have to identify as a woman and come out and pretend to be one. It in fact doesn't make sense. We talk about this a lot when it comes to the whole trans ideology stuff that we're talking about these days in that if you want to be a man who expresses himself femininely and puts on makeup and wigs and mini skirts and crop tops and high heels, by all means, go ahead and do that. Express yourself in whatever way you see fit. You have total freedom to do that, especially here in the United States. You doing that, however, does not make you a woman. And if you think that it does, it's because you're adhering to pretty strict gender stereotypes about what it means to be a man and what it means to be a woman. So when he exclaims that his favorite thing about transitioning is now being able to wear makeup, babes, you could have done that before. You could have been wearing makeup this whole time. I don't know what you've unlocked in taking on the identity of a woman that now makes you capable of wearing makeup, whereas you couldn't do so before. And I have a feeling that our friend Josh here is tapping in to something and you know what? I don't even know if I can blame him for it at this point. He's tapping into something that society wants to see and it's like this salacious boundary pushing nature of coming out as trans and he knows that it's getting attention. He knows that it's getting views and he's thinking, you know what? The reality TV thing didn't work. The talk about mental health didn't work in a time that that was all the buzz. The coming out is bisexual and marrying a man didn't exactly work for me. Now let's try transitioning to be a woman and doing that publicly and see if it works out. And tell there's just something fabricated about the videos that you're seeing, the way he's talking about becoming a woman, the nature in which he's taking us on this journey by completely emulating Dylan Mulvaney and doing day eight of being a woman, day ten of being a woman. I think we saw a trendsetter in Dylan Mulvaney and I could feel it as soon as I came across Dylan Mulvaney's TikTok that this was going to be something big and somebody who's going to be followed and emulated. And now we're seeing it in Josh Snyder and of course others have done the very same and tried to sort of take off on this route. He may be a little bit more successful given his reality show background and he has a little bit of a built in audience that he can now exploit on this journey to becoming a woman. But what I find so fascinating about this and being able to sniff the fakeness on this man is that in his comments, trans people are dominating his comments saying I'm a trans person who's been diagnosed with actual gender dysphoria, who has been struggling through the different gender turmoil, instances and problems that I've experienced this my entire life. And I think you're faking it. Trans people are coming after this man and saying something is not right. You don't seem real to me. Here's another video where he talks about finding safe spaces in gyms as a trans woman. And if you're wondering which gym do you think he's going to as a trans woman these days and planet fitness pops into mind, that's where he claims he's going. Let's watch. I'm not sure if you knew, but normally I wear contacts, but I ran out. So today I'm in glasses. I just got back from the gym and I just want to say one thing I am truly grateful for is planet fitness. They have been awesome during my transition ever since I talked to management and let them know I was transitioning. They let me use the locker room that I identify with. So they have been fantastic. Little things like that just go a long ways in validating me and affirming me and letting me know that that's a safe space for me to exist in. Be so fucking for real right now. Be so for real right now. This is not real. Oh my goodness. And it's so funny because it's it's good. It's good. It's a good bit to be playing. It's a good like sketch to take on and do it publicly because it is so hard to decipher who's truly experiencing gender dysphoria and who's not and in this endeavor that he's taking on to really commit to the bit. He's really showing how ridiculous a lot of the lunacy that's happening in today's world actually is because a lot of people who are calling him out are sure there's trans people calling him out. There's conservatives calling him out, there's leftists calling him out, but a lot of people in his comments are also affirming him just because he's found the list of the 10 buzzwords that you use when you're a trans person. He throws them out there and then he hops on all the different stories that pop up when we're talking about gender ideology. He didn't. I doubt this man is actually going to plan it fitness. I don't think he has a planet fitness membership. Maybe he'll post some proof and he actually does and you know he got one in the wake of maybe the controversy that's happening in regard to planet fitness. But I think he's taking on this falsified identity following all the different trending stories about transgenderism and then making fake ass videos pretending to play into all of this stuff. And to me, that's crazy. Now, of course, it's what I think Dylan Mulvaney is doing to a much more dedicated extent than than he is, maybe so much so that Dylan Mulvaney actually believes that he is gender dysphoric, but this is commitment to the bit like we've never seen before. And I do wonder how long it's going to last because it seems like he'll commit to something for a little bit and then switch up and have some excuse for us to why it happened. And now I think the same is going to happen here at some point because what? Is going on until it's just shaking his head. I mean, the planet fitness thing's pretty on the nose because we cover those stories. We cover the story where there was a man shaving in the women's bathroom and planet fitness. And the lady that reported him was had her membership at Planet Fitness terminated. They sided with the person who identified as a woman who was in the women's bathroom and they've since doubled down on that position publicly. So you can't help but think that Josh is well aware of the virality around those stories. I wouldn't be surprised to see him sipping a Bud Light and talking about how it's just such a supportive beer and that's my favorite beer because they've really embraced the trans community. And you know, is he hanging out with Mr. Beast and his sidekick that we reported on yesterday and is he watching Miss Rachel because she's issuing pride messages. This is if you were writing the script for what a person who was trying to get attention were to do, he would basically be following Josh's arc here. And given his history, as you said, of being not only fans and exotic dancer and then getting cast on the bachelorette and taking his death and doing all these things and his history of mental health issues evidently, I mean, it doesn't seem surprising. So I think it's no question as to whether he's trying to get attention is just, is this purely for narcissism? Is it out of mental health or is he actually a closet genius because it's just something that you were talking about before the show is he does seem pretty like well spoken and coherent in his ability to just, you know, lay out his thoughts and opinions and stuff. So does he actually have some grand master plan where he's just doing all this as one giant troll because he knows what society will do? He knows that this is going to cause controversy. And he's really actually trying to expose the lunacy of gender ideology in some way. But even if he were, is this the best way that I want him to do that as somebody who opposes, you know, making bathrooms accessible to anyone who just says that they're a woman. Not necessarily. So I don't know. This is just part and parcel of the crazy social media agent, which we live apparently. Yeah. I might see some of you commenting, like, please, I hope this is a social experiment. Jeremy says in the comments down below, I don't know what I hope for in this case. It does interestingly point out how ridiculous like self ideas is, which is what we allow now that if you are a man who looks like a man walks like a man talks like a man, you can just say I'm a woman and you are to be believed in that identity and you are to be led into the women's bathroom or to the women's locker room or into the women's portion of the gym or even into women's sports. And it is quite ridiculous. And maybe he's trying to tap into that as a joke and play people, but I'm waiting for the announcement. I'm waiting for the drum roll. And then you tell me that you're actually a man and you've been playing this whole time because it's not happened yet. And this has been going on since May 20th. So a little over a month now, maybe he's waiting till the end of Pride month to make his, his full announcement here that this is just a bit and he's not being serious. But I went so far down this rabbit hole that I just have to share it with you guys because it's just so it's crazy. It's entertaining to a certain extent. I was looking through who he falls on Instagram because I'm like, who does he follow? Okay. Amber Rose, who's recently come out as like conservative sort of following Donald Trump, the MAGA Republican ish, lives of TikTok, who is constantly reporting on these like transgender stories and literally giving him the ammunition that he needs to create this character. Real daily wire, which why would you be following real daily wire? If this is the identity that you're taking on, I guess to, you know, keep your enemies close and keep up to date with the people who are talking bad about transgender individuals, the Babylon B. Why would you be following the Babylon B? Holly London, who is consistently reporting on transitioners, detransitioners, all these different trans stories, Alex Stein, who we're going to get to in just a moment because he was recently interviewed by Alex Stein on his show and called out for the fact that Alex Stein thinks that he's lying. He's following like Trump and all these different people, uh, Prager you even, Prager is right there in his following. What is going on? What is going on guys? I don't think this guy's being for real. I think we've identified that he is, he's faking. You should not leave out by the way that following all the London, all the London is the OG. You remember he identified as Korea and he was British, a white man and did that clearly to get attention and then kind of, I guess has reneged on that. And now he's kind of, it's in one of the most insane internet career pivots of all time. He's now like this internet journalist who reports on the craziness that he once was one of the leading progenitors of so that's very telling that he's following that. But yeah, I mean, seems like those aren't the people you'd be following if you were bought in Hookline and sinker into transgenderism and transgender ideology for sure. You would think and then it's like, I'm looking into other things and like watching interviews because they truly am just so fascinated by people who would choose to take on a role like this and do it so publicly. You have to really not give two F's about how you aren't perceived within the realm of the internet in order to do something like this. And I sort of think of myself, I'm like, maybe there is something actually very powerful about this and it really is showing how little the internet truly matters that you can create this sort of fictitious life that only ever exists on the internet for people to perceive and talk about and to write articles about. Meanwhile, in your real life, you are living as a man who is, I guess, seemingly satisfied by what he's doing on the internet and those two things can be wholly separate and wholly unaffected by one another. And maybe this is a really profound statement about how little what you do on the internet actually matters to a certain extent. But as I said before, he's following Alex Stein. He was interviewed recently on Alex Stein and there's a couple of clips I want to go through so that you guys can see this. He was asked whether or not he's going to start competing in women's sports. Again, another hot topic when it comes to gender theory and gender ideology and all this stuff. And I'll let him give his answer on that one. Tell me this. When are you going to try to join the WNBA or are you going to try to join any biological female sports leagues? Because I think that you are physically fit, you go to the gym, I think you could probably make the WNBA. And I'm not saying that sarcastically I'm being very earnest when I say that. Yeah, basketball is not my forte. I have always been an avid weight lifter, as you mentioned before, and as I've mentioned before. So I do plan on entering some powerlifting competitions. There are a lot of stringent rules, what I would say are draconian rules that come along with that. So I would have to comport to specific bylaws concerning how long I've been on hormone therapy. But typically, after 12 months, if you've been on hormone therapy, you can compete as a woman if you identify as one, and you're transitioning. So I would enter some powerlifting competitions. My bench press is pretty good. So I think I'll be pretty good there. And aside from that, that's not really a thing. Okay. No basketball. Do you think you have an unfair advantage, though? Well, everything's fair in games. And they've said that trans women compete in the women's league if we've been going through hormone therapy for 12 months. So like Leah Thomas or anyone else, I'm just playing by the rules. So I'm a big believer in playing by the rules. So I would definitely want to do that. And I would compete in the women's category because I'm a woman in trans women are women. Yeah, they I just can't believe it. I can't. I'm sorry. I smell bullshit. There's nothing going on. And the fact that he's like siding, you know, just like Leah Thomas, I'm playing by the rules, it would actually be a pretty genius thing. If you were kind of like a not even a conservative man, but just a reasonable man who doesn't agree with a lot of the stuff going on right now who's saying like, you know what, I'm going to point out all the hypocrisy by truly dedicating myself to this new persona and trying to stack up all the different things that are circulating when it comes to this issue. I'm going to get a membership at Planet Fitness and I'm going to document myself going into the women's locker room at Planet Fitness. I'm going to sign up for every single female sport that I can possibly do and just dominate these women and get the number one spot and all of these different competitions. And I'm going to sue other women for discriminating against me for calling me a he or a him and then just stack up all this evidence and then lift the identity off yourself and say, ha, ha, I've been a biological man this whole time, you're on, you're on, you're wrong. We need to fix title nine. We need to fix all the rules when it comes to sporting events. We need to fix all the stuff that's going on with transgender ideology. And I have to wonder is that what he's trying to do? Is that what somebody should do to really drive the nail in on this? I don't know. I don't know. And now I'm just coming at you guys confused and I had to share my confusion with you. Do we want a valiant man to start identifying as a woman in order to sort of flip this story on its head and improve to people that this is somehow wrong? And if a man did that, would it even work? I feel like he's faking it, but I don't know if he's faking it to make some grand statement about how preposterous it is that we allow men to identify as women. I'm leaning more so that he just wants attention. He claims he's not getting top surgery and his backing for this choice is that I already have enough top by virtue of lifting weights and stuff. I don't need real feminine breasts, so I'm not going to get top surgery. He claims he's looking into getting bottom surgery and that he intends to do so. He also claims that he's been on hormone replacement therapy for at least a few days, that he started it in the second week of June, although there's been no evidence posted. I've not seen a video of him actually taking the hormones in any way, shape, or form. So who knows if that's even true? You can just get on the internet and lie all day long these days and we've seen it in the fake skits, in the fake hopeful moments that people record themselves acting out and post on the internet. And now I think we have a whole other layer and just taking on a fake controversial identity and selling it to people. Fantastic. We asked you guys here, is Josh Sider trying to prove a point about gender ideology, trying to get attention both or neither. So far 58% of you are saying he's just trying to get attention, 10% say he's trying to prove a point about gender ideology, 30% say both, 3% neither. Which one of those camps are you and Amala? Oh my gosh, I'm leaning on attention because I'm going off the background of the reality star, the talking of all the mental health problems, the faking of the death, and then you tack this on, it just seems like somebody who's riding the wave of clout and attention that they can receive and it doesn't matter if it's positive or negative attention. I went and scrolled through his Instagram to just see what his posts were like before he was coming out as a transgender individual. And when you look through, he's just kind of posting controversial questions for people to answer alongside his selfies. Like, is abortion taking a human life with a selfie? What causes the most division with a random selfie of himself? Is MAGA a peaceful movement with a selfie? So it's like, okay, he's trying to maybe engagement farm while like mixing in his face. So like people associate his face with these sort of controversial questions and you scroll up and then all of a sudden, like maybe boom, that's not, that's not working anymore. Here is him coming out, boom, there's the coming out page. I'm just like, I don't know that I believe it. And immediately his Instagram turns into just a trans content page where he's posting daily about all the different stuff that he is experiencing and his transness and it goes from pictures to videos. And then the videos he explains different things about his lifestyle and what he's choosing for himself and how he's going to move forward. Here's a day one of hormone therapy. Hey everyone. So my HRT journey has started. I just want to say that each and every one of you that has supported me up until this point. Thank you, your support means the world to me. I couldn't have come this far without you and I'm very proud of myself for getting this far and how far I'm going to go in the coming months. Now look at that deep red lipstick that he probably bought for like four bucks in CVS and a a medium t-shirt that says boy crazy on it be so for real with me right now. I hate just being both face lied to just straight to my face. You're lying to me. You're lying to me. I know this is not real. Oh my gosh. That's unbelievable boy crazy. As you're looking at his like old Instagram posts, I reminded how we got to see clips that surfaced of Dylan Mulvaney after he started doing his days of girlhood thing and it came out that he had been on Ellen and he had been on the prices right and he was acting like extremely extra but just kind of as an effeminate guy and of course he was like had his background in theater and it's always kind of like seemingly been starved for the spotlight. I wonder though do you think that because you said there's a lot of trans people who are commenting on his on his stuff saying like basically expressing their suspicion as to whether he's genuinely trans and saying that he's just appropriating transness for his own gain. I think it's interesting that we've evolved past like originally and the Dylan Mulvaney stage everyone was accusing him of appropriating womanhood for attention. Now is it possible to be appropriating transness and we're in this strange extra layers like how many levels of the dream down deep are we in the inception world that we live in where we are fighting each other to determine whether someone is faking faking being a woman and I think that does say something profound about the state of our culture that is so ready to accept this idea that if you identify as a woman woman you are a woman a trans woman are women and the only qualifying thing for that is for just self-idea and this idea that laws are being written on that policies are being put into place based on that idea curriculums being written according to that idea and instances like this just expose kind of how weak and self-contradictory and spurious that really a hundred percent it does it's really pointing out like we should really be analyzing not only his behavior but the behavior of people who are diagnosed with gender dysphoria because he's being accused of faking the faking is what is happening you are faking me faking being a woman which is just so crazy the layers that exist in that and of course yeah Dylan has gotten this very similar accusations from trans people as well but nowhere near the amount that this guy is getting and it's because he's really really stripping away all the difference you know veils you can put on in order to mystify people when it comes to your identity and he is just playing it playing the role to at the easiest extent to which you can play the role and it's just wild to watch luckily you know Alex Stein actually did confront him it was like yo dude I know that you're faking because I'm a faker Alex Stein is also one of these like reality TV personalities and I swear they need to do brain scans on people who go on reality TV because there's got to be a certain part of their brain that lights up when they get to like play people and get attention and it doesn't matter whether or not it is positive attention or negative attention I think Alex Stein is one of those people he's been known for being that guy who like will dress up as a woman and go to a city council meeting and scream at them about transness or he'll put on what was those those target bathing suits that they had for trans people he put one on as a man and was trouncing around talking to people about it he's also been on reality TV himself there is like a certain personality for people who will go on reality TV don't care about being perceived negatively don't care about taking on a falsified persona so long as they have eyes on them and so long as they are getting attention and I feel like that is something that he and Josh Sider share which is why Alex Stein can tell that this guy is trolling and decides to confront him on it let's roll that clip let's just let's just cut the kayfabe you know do you know who I am I'm primetime 99 pimp on a blimp I wear the tough friendly bathing suit I've done it all I've done this gimmick a million times over I know what it's like to put on the dress to try to be funny and for me I'm just being honest with you Josh it's caused me a lot of backlash as a matter of fact you get a lot of hate for doing it not necessarily from the left-leaning people that you're making fun of but you'll never be accepted by the right side either because they're always going to consider you a freak I'm just telling you this as a friend I know this is a bit I know it's a gimmick and I know you're trolling and I love it because I do the same thing but how long do you think you can do this for dude I mean let's just be real I mean I know this as a comedian you know this as a person I've been on reality TV you've been on reality TV and I am a fan of yours Josh and I have the most of most respect for you and I'm not just saying that how long are you going to do this bit for I mean it can only last so long you can only put on the tok friendly bathing suit so long well it's not a bit for me it may have been a bit for you but for me it's how I feel um Josh you're lying you know what did your parents say about this as your mom or dad know about this are you close with them uh I'm close with some family members yeah and I'm sure that they do not like this because they know that Josh is a body building guy that likes to slam babes that's why he's on the bachelorette and they know this is all a gimmick and you have a million instagram followers and now you're going super viral and I know what that's like and uh what what people don't understand is when you have the mindset that you and I have we don't care I don't care people can make fun of you that's not me like kind of confronting right now it's not going to hurt your feelings but your family they could be embarrassed by this do you not feel any sort of you know guilt to them not for you because I see you're like me we don't have a lot of shame but your loved ones they know it's a bit I mean I mean why are you gonna do this to them for so long Josh um yeah I'm just living my authentic truth um and come on Josh show me too he almost laughs he almost laughs but play with me I'm the people on a blam Josh I can do this bit I can do this dance with you we can joke around and all you know I'll be nice and I'll say all the transgender shit but you know it's a work this is a gimmick this is like professional wrestling sorry I'm not trying to yell at a beautiful lady like you but this is like professional wrestling it really is and I'm like uh what's even worse is that he has this history of like mental health issues and stuff like that so you almost want to be like okay this is somebody who's really struggled with their mental health and maybe when he posted that you know fake death announcement he really was going to take his own life and that's so horrible and he just didn't end up going through with it so he had to pretend that his account was hacked and that's a horrible thing and now he's struggling so much with his mental health that he's just coming out with trance coming out of trance but there's something about it that I just don't believe and there's something about like the jokey comedic nature in which you're going on this journey and doing so publicly and emulating Dylan Mulvaney that makes me think that you are well aware that this is not real and that you're choosing to just give an FU to like the internet and reality and to take on this persona much like what people do on reality tv which is so funny because before the show Taylor and I were talking about like perfect match in these people who go on these Netflix dating shows and they're constantly hopping around from show to show to show and it's this collective agreement that they have that for the next few weeks that we're on this show this is not real I'll play the villain you play the hero we'll do our little thing everything that happens within this space that is this just larger than life set that we're meant to you know portray to people as being real it's not real and you know it's not real I know it's not real we'll have drinks after this whole thing is filmed and that's the agreement that reality stars make and I think you enter reality tv going like oh my gosh I don't know how this is gonna go like you I'm gonna go on the show and maybe part of you thinks that it's gonna be like a real experience and then you go through it and then you see the edit where the villain and the hero is and you know it's wholly different from what you experience when you were on that set and then you see the internet turmoil that happens for a few weeks and you go oh my gosh like this is crazy and then it dies down and you fall into obscurity and then you need something else to give you that same exact feeling plus you're comforted by the fact that all the fake things that happen on this show sort of came in a wave and people took them and then they got over them so then you ratchet up the things that you're willing to do on television you ratchet up the things you're willing to do on the internet because you know it doesn't really matter you know even if they write a ton of articles in the daily mail or forbs or variety that that'll exist for a couple weeks and then as the cycle continues people will move on to the next thing they talk about and you'll have to do something even bigger the next time to get the same response and I think that is the cycle that this guy is stuck in he got a hit of it on the bachelor at season 11 when he was you know voted off the island in the first week and then decided I'm gonna do something else and then I'm gonna do something else and then I'm gonna do something else and then after trans I don't know after coming out as trans and faking your own death what do you have left and it's actually kind of sad it's actually kind of sad the the different routes people have to take to get attention and one of those routes is faking your own death faking being gone from existence is what got you the publicity that you wanted where do you go after that I mean you can exploit this new trans identity to the dismay of trans people left-leaning people conservatives nobody's going to accept this and and love this but you are just such a glutton for attention and views that you're willing to do it anyways it's kind of wild it's kind of wild and they need to do a psychological study on people who repeatedly appear on reality television and like pull these little gimmicks and bits publicly it's wild it is it's wild to like look at him and kind of psycho analyze what would cause someone to follow into that but then it's also wild to me to look at sort of use him as a mirror or a window to look through to see society and ask what is creating the demand for him to want to do things like that what is created you know there's clearly not enough supply of drama and craziness for social media for reality tv so people will always be willing when there's a reward to be had if we're acting certain ways for doing certain things people will do it that you'll always find a someone willing to meet that demand even if it is compromising to themselves and oftentimes you'll see it be the people who either have depersonal issues have mental health issues um who are willing to kind of exploit themselves uh and we the social media internet reality tv world uh will consume that and just kind of keep that cycle going so you know maybe that's the the philosophical yeah let's take a step back and look at the whole picture here it's like how much are we complicit in that and i've seen some comments saying like are you guys just giving him exactly what he wants and in a way i think you're you're right but at the same time you know we we're here to have uh try to you look at this stuff as a mirror and look at our culture and give cultural commentary on things that are going on and this guy's viral whether we talk about it or not and we talk about viral stuff on this show and we try to give some actual substantive perspective on it uh rather than just fueling the outrage but actually you know talk about it and maybe alma you have more to say to that uh charge yourself but i just think uh this is a a reflection of this sort of two-sided dysfunction that we have with the uh reality tv social media ecosystem where we're all addicted to our phones all of us as soon as we get off where it go on our TVs and watch Netflix and and watch this trashy stuff and uh by and implicitly by just doing our creating the demand for this kind of stuff so of course someone's going to uh fill that fill that void so to me it makes me like want to self reflect and just man i need to go touch grass i found interesting tweet the other day that was basically saying a lot of the things that are we we consider boring um or like would would be regarded as boring compared to this fast paced viral internet you know world that we live in are actually the things that make us most human and make us most substantive as people so like going out in nature having deep conversations spending time with your family uh enjoying a great piece of literature or music or something like that like those are things that round you in your genuine human existence and to me maybe that's the the remedy that society needs in the face of this crazy uh ecosystem that we're all caught up in yeah i like i hope i hope to think that i balance this stuff out with normalcy but i'm just so fascinated by stories and just like analyzing why people do certain things that i cannot help but show this to you guys when i found about i found out about this this morning i was like we we have to talk about it that's all i can say towards the accusation of we're still giving this attention i i don't i don't care i like i want to talk about this and i want to figure out why it is that people do this and i want to ask you guys why you think it is that people do this stuff because it's just wild it's just wild that's really all i have to say and that's really what's today's show i was like we are gonna go down the rabbit hole of this guy's page and just figure out because this is such a such an interesting such an interesting specimen like faking your own death be on reality tv come out as trans like but doing it in the the the just weakest possible way you could possibly support yourself in in this identity is just crazy and it still works i not it's interesting that like i'd like to see how little you could do as a man while saying you're a woman while still pulling it off and having people believe you and whilst he is sort of creating that line i think because a lot of trans people are calling him out a lot of women are calling him out a lot of left leading people are calling him out there's still a lot of acceptance in his his comments section and people saying i just love that you're being your most authentic self and you go queen we we love the new name jay and all this different stuff so i just wonder how much further could you go in this guy and still be believed and by who like i also want to meet the people i want all the people who believe this man in a room together so i could talk to them and just get their viewpoint on this and it truly must be you can just be anybody and say that you're a woman and i will believe you it's got to be that guys we're going to get into your superjacks let's hear from you guys on this subject i'm i'm continuously losing my voice as we talk on the stream so hopefully i have it by the time we finish talking about it i mean i'm seeing a lot of comments that they're enjoying the scratchy laughing and voice and i don't know how much of those are just weirdos or whether or not like genuine yes thanks guys appreciate it all right heather freeling says been following you since i saw you on jordan peterson thanks for uh your thoughtful content good to to facilitate discussions with my teenage boy because i feel old and out of touch a lot you are both amazing oh thank you that is so very sweet yeah i love that i love that it's helping you have conversations we try to keep up to date with like all the pop culture stuff and just interesting things that are trending so i'm sure i'm sure if you're kids on the internet he's seeing this stuff too yeah i just so funny thanks for your like thoughtful content in today's subject matter today was just one random guy who's pretending to be trans yeah but we're still thoughtful yeah we i did it didn't make me very thoughtful indeed uh man of power says hey they're gang i said on monday miss dafford was fifty percent was a fifty percent three oh four now she's a hundred percent three oh four after hearing her story again so kings get yourself a latina that is going to fit into your frame without the gang goodness whatever whatever Alex i don't even know what to say to this anymore anymore Frankie Cox says hi have you heard of project 2025 what are your thoughts no but you guys keep asking about that in the super chats i'm gonna have to look it up it's some conservative thing i thought right i don't know i feel like it's some like bajimbo drove clauschwap seriously sounding but i don't know i've never heard of it and i don't know how much weight carries um day all says a man faking it to make a point would still be unfair to women so i couldn't support it yeah it's just uh it's just like is it is is it is it is it a necessary like extraordinary measure to get to meet an extraordinary end i don't know i could see i don't appreciate it to be honest even if he is like on our side as far as his reasoning behind it i don't i don't know but honestly with how crazy things are maybe it is what needs to happen in order for people to wake up which is just terrifying uh autocue 69 says please do a live covering the presidential debate tomorrow i'm begging we all are lol oh well taylor and i were just talking about this i'm gonna watch it uh tomorrow we'll see i think we'll cover it maybe on friday if there's anything of interest which i don't know how there wouldn't be anything of interest given the two different people we're gonna have to watch uh i just don't know what's gonna happen that it's crazy to think that we have like one senile candidate meeting uh this sort of larger than life now infamous candidate and they're gonna be on stage for a few hours talking to one another i don't even know if biden will make it through the whole thing just crazy yeah i guess that's one of the main reasons people want to watch i do i was telling you before i think the the narrative that the expectations are having been set too low for biden and that's going to work to his advantage is i think it's probably probably true but yeah i don't know i don't know how much it matters i think it'll just depend on whether this becomes about biden and his policies or if it's about trump and doing personal attacks like he did uh last time there was a debate and if trump can keep the spotlight on biden i think it'll go well for him yeah we just call out all the places he's failed over and over and over yeah man you got plenty of ammo yeah but part of me just is not interested at all and doesn't even want to tune in but the other part of me is like well i have to as a citizen and as someone who is has to talk about this stuff right so uh we'll see how it goes um man of power again says i don't know what is wrong with that josh guy but he needs a latina girlfriend to set him straight lol i just can't why can't these people just be normal lie well guess what he's bisexual and he said in his interview that he can still date hot chicks whenever he's interested so i'm sure he's gonna do that i saw at some other uh point he was he kept him out as pansexual i think in 2021 so he's been there and back again jumping around uh elf and uh elf in lox as the theme of superwoke trans is that instead of healthily resolving their identity crisis about their place in the world which we all experience in some form they opt for narcissism insisting the world revolve around them yeah i mean for a lot of people i think that's the case i think you could find some like narcissistic traits underlying a lot of the trans stuff that's happening to think that you can now take on a new reality and then impose that reality on other people it's a little narcissistic and that's not to include not to accuse all trans people of being narcissistic it's just something that i would you know be introspective about if you think that the world should bend to your whim yeah i mean you're going to think that also if you like accept these this ideology as the fundamental truth about the world then you're going to require that all the world adapted self to what you believe to be true and that is uh yeah i'm not not good not conducive to especially if you're if you're adopted a worldview that's not congruent in your reality and you expect reality to conform to your world view then you're you're putting an unrealistic expectation on the world and that is going to cause friction with other people who are still in reality uh let's see a couple more here ryan field says been watching you guys for years never able to make alive until now much love to the gibley stan queen and tyler from lake tahoe have a good one guys also that trans dudes faking a low up yeah okay so you guys seem to be agreeing with our with our conclusion on that one thank you so much for having watched the show for a few years we appreciate you we appreciate all of our og's especially if you love higher bizaki as well yeah always always great to hear some from some from y'all when it's your first uh super chat we love the regulars but uh hearing from someone we've never heard from before is this always awesome so thank you ryan uh man of power says i was also going to say that i went to valley fair on sunday which if you don't know is minnesota's giant uh no valley fair is that a state park or a amusement park i think it's a good up valley they have the um they have their state fair which is a big giant thing every year but i think valley fair is an amusement park anyways minneapolis amusement park yeah okay you go i'm not sure if i saw more dads with their children than before but it was good to see it more dads with their children oh at the valley fair so yeah that is great i love to hear that you got you see all the families get together and go to the fair that's lovely we're here for it i can't go into fair hours most wholesome super chat to date right there that is i don't like fairs because i'm afraid the rides are going to fall apart and somebody's going to die um but fair food is fun for like two hours and then not after i liked them in the fall and i think it's like just a quintessential sort of american experience to just go to the county fair state fair whatever and get some cotton candy slushy hot dog fried oreos play some rip off games that are designed to make you lose a thousand times and spend lots of money until you finally win and you can give your girlfriend the uh stuffed animal that you spent 200 dollars on there's no use for yeah honestly yeah awesome uh gabe morgan says my biggest issue with the trans ideology is that people are starting to say not liking specific parts is transphobic yeah i mean yeah people say like if you won't date a trans person you're transphobic or if you don't agree with their identity then you're transphobic or if you don't want them to be in the women's bathroom you're transphobic and everything's uh phobia apparently these days and i believe that was our last super chat although full send to fafo just said uh homilinista host a love jam's radio dedication hour with this voice i love jams what is that love jam of radio how get the very white going oh my gosh very not very white guys thank about that uh yeah that's about it i will see you guys a couple more super chats here just came in uh man of power has one more says just want to say that miracles actually do happen i couldn't get my car started and my dad switched on the battery and or switched the battery and saved me a thousand dollars just now thank god for dad's that wasn't my most wholesome chat wow is that a miracle if your dad fixed the battery i'm just thinking about the logical point inconsistencies in the story but it just felt like a miracle it sure felt like a miracle i bet it did Alex um michael bullet also says i found your channel because my buddy at work sent me your acolyte video i've been binging all your videos for like a week doing a great job can't wait to hear what you saw say about episode five oh michael thank you so much we talked about whether we're talking about that today we didn't watch it maybe we'll talk about it on friday i actually watched it just before the show because i was like going to cram it in and like in case we talked about it today i have a lot to say and the main thing i want to say is predictable i was literally telling taylor like i think this is gonna happen in the show because it seems like they're very lazily setting up this plot point and then it did happen but we won't talk about it just yet for all the people who are following the acolyte but episode five was not that bad it wasn't great but it wasn't that bad and there was a lot of i'm gonna have to watch it one more time to like point out all the notes that popped up in my brain of like that doesn't make sense that doesn't make sense uh how did they survive that that doesn't make sense so yeah we'll talk about that maybe a little bit on friday for those of you who are interested we were finally done with that but if you guys are still enjoying the the hate watching yeah we'll keep it going necessarily hate watching we're watching and just hating yeah uh yeah chicken porcadobo at the buzzer here i just came i came out as trans by to access a big dating pool but alas still no date i love the power trip though damn you just read him for filth that's crazy crazy that's a no we're gonna go back to that point it is i literally bought up an article on transmaxing so i was gonna delve even deeper into the psychology around this and accuse him of transmaxing which he most definitely is but for a different end he's transmaxing for attention but no i digress you guys understand the point i was trying to make this episode i think you guys got me we're on the same wavelength we speak the same language guys with that i'm gonna stop speaking language so that i can do so tomorrow and the next day thank you so much for watching leave your thoughts in the comments down below as always if you disagree with me i encourage healthy debates and do get out but do so respectfully and i will see you guys tomorrow have a fantastic rest of your day bye guys
