I got there early this morning and prepared and at the very end, one of the managers walked in and looked at me and said, hey, you need any help? I said, no, I got this. Hold that thought because we did not have a ticket to add winner at seven 10, which means right now I'm going to announce another name. One's over near like Southwest and the other one's over at American. And they're doing very well. And they're run by a good company that runs them for us. But now you're expanding all the way up the West Coast to Florida. Correct. So we have our adventures. You know, Ryan Dion. Yeah. Hey, Ryan. And he's building the right now. They're on their fourth Kelly's. So they started in Sarasota. They went over to South Pasadena, which is St. Pete's Beach area. Then they went down to Naples. And now they're going to Fort Myers right off 75. And if I'm sure if everybody knows that area, it's right near the top golf. Oh, yeah. 75 right there. It's also near Fenway South, right? Yes. Correct. Yeah. Yeah. And they do a good job. They do some marketing down there with the Red Sox and all that. Well, just think about that. If you're landing in Fort Myers, trying to get to Sarasota or Naples, you just hop in your rent a car and go buy Kelly's, pick up some food and off you go. And it's happening. You know, it's pretty cool to see that. Any other big news we need to know regard. I mean, people love Kelly. Yeah. You know, we have a another group AM 15. They're the ones who French they're our franchisee for Salem, New Hampshire. They opened up debtum last year and they're opening up Worcester this month. The end of the month is no direct date yet because I'm permitting still going on. But down at Worcester, a cold stop Boulevard, it's a bunch of little restaurants down there. And that's we're getting a big call for it down there to a lot of transplants down that area. No, do you have the keys for the Florida places? I'm sure I can get my brother, Frank Costa lives in Sarasota. So if you want to feel at home, brother, go on by Kelly's in Sarasota. I am so happy that Kelly's will speak by is there because I grew up in Boston. And I love listening to you guys on kiss 108. But it's so refreshing when someone from Boston is being interviewed. I'm pretty creepy with Billy and Lisa in the morning. Well, you know what it's almost time for? Back to school. Like literally in the next couple of weeks, we're talking about back to school. And they're already preparing in California so much so that a California teacher found a bear inside her classroom as she was preparing for the new school year. I opened my classroom door and there was this bear charging towards the door. Say went over, went back to the office, close the door, locked the bear in here. And I went back to the office to call my husband, Ian. When my husband came, we started knocking on the window to distract it. Sadly, you have to hold the door open for it to stay open. So when he was holding the door open, that's when he called the bear's attention and the bear went by him like within a foot. I love how she called her husband. She's so calm. I know. She ran right out and locked the door. I wouldn't know what to do. This is a weird one. I don't know if you saw this video, but it really is a tragic. They have what they call the crossfit games. Yeah. And one of the guys during the swimming competition was down the home stretch, but he was having trouble staying on the surface of the water. The strangest part of it is there were lifeguards whose job it was to keep an eye on the swimmers and they were nearby and they didn't notice this guy drowned. He died. We've got a clip during the actual race. Disaster struck a short distance from the finish line. That's Duquich in distress. His head bobbing up and down in the water. He tries to keep going, but can't. There is here is in difficulty here. There are two lifeguards on paddle boards alongside the swimmers, but they don't seem to realize he's in trouble. Yeah, this is horrific. Yeah. I mean, this guy, it happens. Top shape. Right. Crossfit is very hard, man. Oh, man. Uh, yeah. It's some weird stories of funny. Others can be tragic. And that certainly was one of them. Winnie, what have you got? Okay. So, I mean, I'm Florida comes out of Florida is a robbery suspect. So what he did was he jumped off a bridge to avoid being arrested, but he was apprehended anyways when they went to again. And to answer your question, Billy, no, I've never left off left off a bridge running from the police on the bridge. Oh, sir, how are you? I'm calling you for a few minutes. Are you coming from? You have a seat for me. I mean, yeah, you're being detained. He's in the water. This is going to be him on the bridge. Like what a waste of like, you know, like someone has to go save you. Like you're not going to evade them. God, Lisa, what have you got? Well, this is another weird story out of Paris. So hours before closing ceremonies yesterday, a man was seen climbing up the Eiffel Tower. And it prompted mass evacuations near the Eiffel Tower to get the guy down. There's a dude climbing in the Eiffel Tower. He just passed the blue ring. I don't think he's wearing a shirt. That's crazy. Yeah. I mean, I think with social media nowadays, the big thing is climbing climbing buildings. I mean, with the camera, yeah, the guy on Instagram, James Kingston. I mean, you can't even watch the videos. They, he climbs these cranes. I mean, it's really scary to watch the addiction to attention. I guess so. How about this guy? This happened in Michigan. So this guy was in court on a minor trespassing charge. Okay. But he got five hundred fifty eight days in jail because he wouldn't stop swearing at the judge. It's trespassing. I could technically leave and you guys could issue a warrant as long as our return is kiss my ****. I'm going to tell you what, you don't come anywhere. That's content. That's another 93. That's another 93. That's 693s consecutive. It is. Okay. That's the same judge that caught the guy driving in the zoom call. Oh my God. Yeah. Same judge. Yeah. I think he might have some type of, I don't know if a show, but they, they record his proceedings a lot. And I know that voice because I see him all the time on social media. It's the same as that older black judge, you know, judge, Cedric Simpson. Yeah. You don't want to mess with the judges, man. Well, I got locked up once for wearing shorts. That's right. I went for before the judge in my shorts and they thought it was disrespectful. Yeah. My lawyer told me don't go on, don't do it. We'll get another date. I said it's fine. And yeah, as soon as I walked up custody, judge Johnson involved in it. I think he passed on. He had a boat named on and after. You know what on and after is? No. So if you have multiple charges, they can run them, you know, concurrently at the same time, or that you can do on and after, meaning you do the first sentence, you finish that one and then you do the second one after. And he gave out so many of those his name, he named his boat crazy. Winnie, wrap it up one more. Okay. So have you heard of a dingle berry billy? Mm hmm. Okay. So this woman called her husband that after she caught him letting their toddler on the roof of their, the hood of the SUV while he was like driving. So the kid was crawling up the windshield onto the roof and the mom saw it and sprinted out the house. Mick, how are you getting down? Oh my god. I just dingle berry. Mick. Yeah. Dingle berry is now taken over the internet. Oh, really? Just means foolish. Yeah. I thought it meant something. So did I when the Winnie asked me, I said, sure. Oh, you're thinking about dingle berry in your butt? Yeah, I thought it was a kind of a bathroom thing. I don't have to describe it. But I guess it has multiple meanings. I guess it does crazy. Yeah, because I got reports from my people at Showcase who saw it that it's a really good movie. The book is actually based in Boston. So that's so the movie is basically based in Boston. My book club will be seeing it this Wednesday at Showcase Legacy Place. No way. How can people get in on that? It's already sold out. Of course it is. It's Lisa's book club. It sells out in seconds. And we move on from the box office, closing ceremonies, Olympic games in Paris last night. I watched the entire opening ceremonies and I watched the entire closing ceremonies, which by the way, I thought both were incredibly artistic. Both were extremely long. I mean they could have done half and it would have been plenty. But they were good. And I got to tell you, her did the anthem at closing ceremonies last night. I thought she was awesome. But when you go to the middle school soccer game and they have like the... Well, it doesn't have the same feeling. It doesn't. I got to tell you, her, for me, goes into the top three. She does. Well, I hear Tom Cruise is going to do some sort of adventurous thing at the closing ceremonies. And he's in Paris anyway, shooting another mission in possible movies. So sure enough, in comes Tom Cruise. And he kind of flew in on a harness from the top of the stadium, which in and of itself was a little scary. But then he lands, and he gets on a motorcycle and takes the motorcycle out of the stadium and onto a cargo plane that supposedly takes him to Los Angeles to deliver the flag. Anyway, I was, and I can't explain it. As adventurous as this was, all I could think about, all I could focus on was his new face. Yeah, it slaps you in the face. Yeah. Well, he doesn't look like the same person. No, he's completely puffy looking now. Yeah, I don't get that why they do that, especially someone like him, you know, I mean, he's handsome guy, handsome guy, you know, he's aging, you know, deal with it, you know, I mean, I guess a little bit is okay, it's just too much. But then when they switched to Los Angeles and to be a beach, clearly prerecorded, the chili peppers performed, but then Snoop Dogg boy, how much coverage does Snoop Dogg get during the Olympics? Well, we were saying that it was alleged that he got paid $500,000 a day for all this Olympics stuff, which if you do the math, it was like what, two and a half weeks. So 20, I mean, it's millions of dollars. He was really funny, though. Yeah, I liked everything that he did. Well, remember right before vacation, we played the clip of him doing the play by play of Badminton. Yeah. And that's when you knew, okay, now it's starting to make sense. He did a lot of funny bits during his coverage. He probably made $10 million in the last couple weeks. Plus expenses. And all he is is, you know, he's going to be the new judge on the- Yeah, what's the- Not American the voice. Yeah, the voice. So that was just, you know, extra, exactly. But yeah, so the chili peppers performed at the beach party as did Snoop Dogg with Dr. Drey. And Finney is performed with Billie Eilish. I thought she was great. Yeah, she's so talented. Tards of a feather live. When is her show in Boston? October. It's October. I have to look up the date. Well, this is a big October for Boston. Yeah, the Breenell B. Yeah. Oh, yeah, Billie is very, very talented. Anyway, she performed with Finney, and as it happens, Finney is coming out with a solo album, a 10 track album, which is coming out October 4th. The men's and women's U.S. basketball teams, one gold, both had to beat France to win, imagine. Steph Curry, in the final minutes in that gold round, hit a flurry of incredible threes, which by the way, could have saved them, I think, from losing to France. Anyway, here was the play-by play on that. Does Curry have another banger with a dagger to finish it? Durant, back to Curry, dancing on Batum, over the double team. It's a golden dagger, right, right, right. Curry, unconscious in the fourth. We've got Steph on that golden dagger and then some rhythm. The avalanche came and thankfully the other three went in, but that was an unbelievable moment. I've been blessed to play basketball at a higher level for a very long time. I don't know. This brings very, very high in terms of the excitement and the sense of relief getting to the finish line. Big Taylor Swift News, while we were on vacation, her three concerts in Vienna, Austria had to be canceled. And I'm talking about serious terror threats. They arrested. Do you know one of the suspects? 15 years old. Yeah, one of them was working at the stadium. They got hired to work the stadium. And as it happens, they were planning like a mass attack outside the other stadium at one of Taylor's shows. Anyway, three guys are in custody. They went to the homes and they did find all the makings of bombs and explosives and just crazy land. Anyway, Taylor goes to London this weekend. Those shows and the rest of the era's tour, apparently are still on. And Adele confirmed over the weekend she is engaged now to Rich Paul. How do I know the name Rich Paul? He is a big sports agent for LeBron, LeBron's agent and all that. Yeah. Wow. They've been together for years. And Sean Mendez coming out with a new song this Friday. And it actually just came out. It actually came out. It's actually out. We got it. I do. I do have it. But one part of it is what everyone's talking about. Because he talks about almost becoming a dad. Is this about? Yeah. Okay. We noticed she was very pregnant at the finals a few weeks later. She gave birth at a Boston hospital and then she was able to bring the baby to Paris for the milk. Wow, paid in Richard of the Celtics got married over the weekend. Blake Griffin was his officiant. And Post Malone was on CBS Sunday morning yesterday talking about being incredibly lonely. Getting up, having a good cry, drinking, and then going live in your life. And then whenever you go lay down, drinking some more and having a good cry. And just like, I got to wake up tomorrow and do this again. I don't feel like that anymore. And it's the most amazing thing. You know, there's a lot of very, I think lonely people. I don't want people to feel how I felt. And I know they do. And I'm here and I'm on stage. And I just want everyone to feel welcome and to feel loved. And that's the most important thing for me. I do love him. I do love him. How could he possibly be lonely? He's constantly out doing something? I think he's I think he's an alcoholic. Yeah, but I think that that's the point of loneliness is that it hits people when you least expect it. Right. Right. It's a day with the middle, you know, the middle children get some attention and love because, you know, they're sometimes forgotten. Very true. Being in the middle. Well, my son Alex is a middle child. I don't think he's ever felt forgotten. Yeah. And they get a little like, uh, you know, attitude to let us middle children have our day. Please. Thank you. Okay. Like, you know, what, you know, what do they feel middle children? What do you feel? Well, we feel well, first of all, if you ever felt left out left alone or left behind, then you know what it feels like to be a middle child. And that's why I think everybody should embrace the day, because at some point in our lives, we've all felt like a middle child. Yeah, right? Like you didn't get invited to the lunch or know that you're there. How come my friends didn't want to do this? And if everybody knows what it feels to be a middle child. Bruce, I'm more fascinated with you. Is this what you do? I love hearing that. No, but it's like you. I in my in my free time, I'm retired. Yeah, this is what I do, especially on middle child's day. On middle child's day, I want to get the word out there. I want everybody, everybody to acknowledge the middle children in their life on middle child's day. That's why I created the union. We had a strike 12 years ago. People like started talking about a little bit. Really? Because I never heard any of that talk, but that's okay. Do you organize events throughout the year for people to get involved with? I put stuff up in the blog. I put the activities for people to be involved in. Oh, I love that. Middle child trading cards, your favorite famous TV and movie middle children. You collect them all and then forget you have them. These are things that I think middle children can bring. Oh, Chris, cost the buddy your son. He's trading cards. That's right. How funny is that? So my son Alex is a middle child. And yet my son Chris owns a trading card company. So should he be trading middle child cards? Well, I think these things they're worth nothing now. Nothing. Yeah. So they could only increase. Because if I think about it, my older brother is like the oldest, the prince, the only boy that my older sister is like the emotional one that everyone needs to like hug because she like cries and stuff. And then my other sister is the baby who just gets whatever she wants because she was the last kid. And then there's me. No one really cares. I think my son Alex, my middle child, got the most attention. Yeah, because he was acting out because you weren't giving him enough love and attention. Right. He wasn't the baby who was the oldest. And then when you were coming back, you were like 12 hours away from the Aruba airport being closed for like three days and rides. So I don't know what you did. I'm not a stalker. I just care. Hope you had fun. Love you. Well, thank you for caring. Yeah, what she's saying is on the way to a Ruba at the airport, some they overbooked by one seat. And so JetBlue was offering a voucher for us 500 and a thousand. But then when it got to $1,200 and nobody stood up, they said this plane is not leaving until somebody volunteers to take a later flight, which would have been about three hours later. And then finally, someone did for $1,500. But that flight got delayed. They didn't arrive to like one in the morning. That's great. So the person who target took the money was screwed. And I got to give a shout out to our listener, Jess. Her name is Jess Garrigan. She was in Aruba at the same hotel as me. And she came up and she met my wife, Jen and I, super nice listener of the show. She was actually on the flight with the person that took the voucher. And so she was delayed like 13 hours. Yeah. And then like that talk backer said, coming home, we were lucky because we got out right before the airport shut down in Aruba because the AC broke. So it was just crazy. I haven't been to Aruba in a long time, but I do remember that you were always panicked when you got to the airport in Aruba ready to fly home because it was always very chaotic and crowded. Well, we got stuck there. The only time I was ever there, I was there for an extra two days. Wow. Well, the thing is, I was reading about it and Aruba is, you know, it's a very small island. Yeah. And the tourism just continues to grow. And they don't, they need to make like a change to the airport. They need to update it and make it bigger. They did that a few. I remember I went to the Cayman's not too long ago. They did that at that airport. They were in the process of expanding it to make it three times the size. Yeah. The issue with Aruba is that half of Massachusetts, it's the only Caribbean island. That's right. Like there's other islands out there. Yeah, but it's guaranteed weather. Guaranteed. That's why. And there's a direct flight. Gendered parasailing. Oh, cool. I saw that. You too much. Oh, I, you know, like, I forgot you. I could never do it. Listen to this. Listen to this. So, so I'm filming her. And then she was up there for 10 or 15 minutes. So high up. I couldn't believe it. And then I stopped filming. I'm looking up at her. And all of a sudden she just starts puking. Oh, gosh. In the air. Yeah, she got she got seasick or motion sickness. So somebody's going by underneath her in a boat in an issue. But did they bring her down when they saw her puking? No, they didn't see it. Because they don't care. They don't know. Oh, no. They're watching. But like, did she throw up anyone in the boat or anyone below? There was no one around. Just on the ocean. Just was a quick like and I was just puking. And then she came down and I go, how was she? Because it was awesome. I said, did you puking? Yeah. Because they told her the sea turtles were out. There were a lot of them. So they said to look down for the turtles. You don't look down when you're that high. Yeah, the guys running the parasail boat high as a kite. So stoned. They picked up their girlfriend on the way. They picked up their girlfriend. Now we have a girl on the boat. They're on their phones while he's driving the boat. Oh, yeah. Anyway, let's head to Munich. Good morning, morning crew. He was saying that because everyone is saying coming forward, the jurors are saying that it was no one voted her guilty on murder. They were just caught up in the manslaughter charge that you couldn't charge her again with murder because it begins her to double jeopardy. But then Adam, what was his last name from the prosecution? Adam Lally came back and saying, well, you didn't pull him then. You can't go back and pull him now. It's never been done before. And at this point, there's been so many outside influences and they've been away from the trial for over a month that should go back and ask them would just not. It wouldn't be so fast that day. And they didn't. And they did not. Yeah. So he technically is not double jeopardy because it was a missed trial. So you can charge her with whatever you want. Her lawyers blew it. They could have asked and it would have worked possibly. But Judge Bev did not rule anything. There was no verdict. So I don't know what's going to happen. So when's the next hearing? I'm not sure when she's going to come back with that. But I mean, I think trial will start in January, like it's supposed to. It isn't Karen Reed like doing the party circuit now and stuff. She was seen in a picture at a house party yesterday. It seems like weird optics to me. I don't know. Well, she she has shown up some of the rallies, which is cool because people are out there fighting for her. Yeah. Right. Oh, I definitely appreciate her, you know, thanking the people who have supported her in a big way. Right. She's being consistent. Yeah. Yeah. It was one of Tuscan Village in Salem, New Hampshire.
