It is Monday, August 12th. The Billy and Lisa morning show is back live. We're back from vacation going to be a sunny start today. We'll see increasing clouds later in the day highs about 80 degrees. Pretty nice day sunny and nice for tomorrow in the eighties. Pretty much the same for Wednesday. So pretty nice stretch of weather coming in top stories. Red Sox outfielder Jaren Duran and the Red Sox organization, both offering a public apology for Duran's choice of words directed at a heckler yesterday. Duran responded with a shut up blank, blank, blank, a homophobic slur. Red Sox, by the way, lost the game 10 to Olympic games closing ceremonies last night performances by Billy Eilish Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, the chili peppers as Los Angeles now gears up for the 2028 games. The men's and women's US basketball teams, both one gold, both beating France and the gold medal round, Steph Curry on winning gold. The rhythm, the avalanche came and thankfully the other three went in. But I was an unbelievable moment. I've been blessed to play basketball at a high level for a very long time. I don't know. This brings very, very high in terms of the excitement and the sense of relief getting to the finish line. Yeah, he has series of threes in the final minutes of the game.
