Meet Bastemu, join our fate with him that you would refresh him, that you would continue to take them from victory to victory, from glory to glory, and from faith to faith. Work in their lives, no matter what's going on in their lives. Bring them out more than a conqueror. David said, "This poor man cried in the Lord heard him, "and delivered him from all his fas." Deliver someone from their fas this morning. Someone who is afraid and looks like they go in under. Bring them under that situation, that marriage trouble, that financial trouble, that relationship trouble, that ministry trouble, that business trouble, that college trouble, that career trouble. Bring them out, God. Someone who's experiencing a great loss financially. They're worried and extremely fearful. Bring peace to them. Lord, your word says you will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on your ministry to your people on this morning. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, someone say, "A, man, glory, be to God." Glory, glory, glory. What a wonderful God we serve, amen? What a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful God we serve. As we continue our series, you are never alone. The first thing I wanna talk about this morning is no need to fail, no need to fail. I really felt that strong, amen, that this is for somebody on this morning. You're worried, you're anxious, you're mind, you can't even think clearly, your mind is foggy. You just overwhelmed and overburdened with the cares of life. Jesus warned us that the cares of life is one of the things that the enemy will use to steal the word right out of our hearts, amen? If you have no words, you have no faith because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. I wanna take you into the book of Second Timothy chapter one, verse seven, and then we'll go into Isaiah 41. Second Timothy, Paul, the Apostle Paul is talking to Timothy and he said, for God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, glory to God. We have a spirit of power, not a spirit of fear, and notice he says, for God have not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. The word fair right there means timidity, it means fearfulness, it means cowardice or coward. But listen to me good, Paul's making a point, he says God has not given us the spirit of fear. Well, if God didn't give us the spirit of fear, who is trying to give us something that God didn't approve of? Obviously it's the devil. Because the Bible says, when fear comes, it has torment along with it. Fair brings torment, it brings anxiety, it brings worry. And it will rob you of your faith every single time. With fair comes unbelief, with fair comes doubt, with fair comes hopelessness, and depression and oppression slip, tied right along with all of that stuff. But notice this, he said, God did not give us the spirit of fear, but he's given us the spirit of power. The Holy Ghost, Jesus said, you should receive power after the Holy Ghost comes on you, and you'll be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the other most ends of the earth. Amen, that's Acts 1-8. So if God didn't give it to you, you need to fight that thing off, you need to resist. That's the enemy trying to get ahold of you. The Bible says, and James 4-7, submit yourselves, therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you. It's going to the book of Isaiah, chapter 41 verse 10 through 13, powerful stuff. Isaiah, speaking under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, he says, fair thou not. Fair thou not the word fair. Here means to be dreadful, to be terrified. Same thing as timidity, fearfulness, coward. Very, very similar. He says, fair thou not. This is God talking. Why? He says, for I am with thee. God says, I'm with you. My God, he's never lost. He's the most powerful being to ever exist. And always existed. Come on, somebody. He is God all by himself. He says, fair thou not, for I am with thee. God says, I'm with you. Then he says, be not dismayed. To be dismayed means to be distressed. Typically, that is caused by something unexpected. Something happened unexpectedly, and it just wiped your faith clean. Wipe you right out of your faith and load you not with unbelief. It also means to be discouraged. Something have just sucked pretty much, suck all the courage out of you. You are now discouraged, you are deflated, you are hopeless, and you've given up. I'm talking to somebody here this morning. But God is saying to you, fair thou not, for I am with you. God said, I'm with you. I'm with you. Be not dismayed. Don't allow yourself to become discouraged. Shake yourself. Pray, men are always to pray. And not to faint, Jesus said, in Luke 18 1, for I am thy God. Then he says, I will strengthen thee. The word strengthen means to be strong, brave, to be bold, to be determined, to persist, to assure. And sometimes we need God to give us assurance. He says, I will strengthen you. I will make you confident. I will give you the assurance you need. I'll restore your hope and your faith. Faith is the substance of things hope for, the evidence of things not saying. He says, yes. He says, I will help thee. The word help there means to aid, to support. God says, I'm gonna come to your aid. I'm going to support you. He says, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. The word uphold means to grasp. God says, I have my grasp on you, glory to God. To lay a hold of to keep. That also means to support. God says, I'm your keeper. The Lord is thy keeper. The Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. Glory be to God. He shall preserve. You're going out and you're coming in from this time forth, even forever more. He says, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And then he says something powerful, powerful in verse 11. Behold all they that were incense against thee shall be ashamed and confounded. He said those who are incense, the word incense means to be hard furious, to be angry, to be displeased. Everyone who is furious and angry and displeased with you. God says, they're going to be ashamed and confounded. The word is shame means they will be disappointed. God's not going to let their desires come to pass. He's going to disappoint them. They're hoping you go down. They're hoping you go under. But God's going to hold you up and help you get to the other side. Praise be to God. He says they will be ashamed and confounded. The word confounded means to insult, to be humiliated, to be dishonored. You know when Jesus, the Bible says he rebuked the way, he rebuked the win and sat unto the sea. Peace be still. One of the original meanings for that word, rebuked means to insult, to humiliate, to assault verbally. He insulted the storm. He humiliated, because it was a demon. He was attacking. And he verbally assaulted the enemy. Peace be still. Glory to God. Thank you, Jesus. And that was a great calm. Mighty God you are. Listen, he's fighting for you saints. He says, those, be all all day that were incensed against, he should be ashamed and confounded. The word confounded, I said it tends to be insulted, to be humiliated, to be dishonored. So God's gonna do it to your enemies. And then he says, they shall be as nothing and they that strive with you shall perish. Those who strive with you, the word strive means strive to quarrel, an adversary, a case of law, a contest, personal, or legal. God says, anyone who come against you, they go on perish. The word perish means to be destroyed, to be lost, to kill, to die, to be exterminated, to blot out, to do away where to lose. I've heard of a great man of God who was attacked in the courts, attacked ferociously and fastly. His enemy was trying to destroy his ministry. And this man of God committed the whole thing to God. He was leading on God, God was the only one who can get him in his ministry out of this mess they were in. They were innocent, but you know how the world ups down. And on the day that this man of God went into God, it was pretty much from a natural standpoint. It was over for him, it was over for his ministry. He had fought and had the best laws and did everything he knew how to do. And it just seemed like nothing would turn. And the man who was bringing the case against this great man of God, he was standing by his fence early that morning. More on his lawn. And that man who would be coming to court to destroy the man of God just collapsed and fell dead. And the man of God and his lawyers at the, they went to the court and the lawyers from the accuser walked in the room, put their briefcase on the table and say the case has been dismissed. And the man of God and his lies were confused. Like what's going on? The case is dismissed, how come? The man's lawyer lies looked at the man of God with his lawyers and said, my client just dropped dead this morning. That's what the Bible means right here. Are you listening to me? Behold all they don't want incense, angry against, he shall be ashamed and confounded. They shall be his nothing and they don't strive with these shall perish. That man was about to bring harm to the work of God. God's not gonna let you destroy his work or his kingdom. He said it, Jesus said it loud and clear. Matthew 16, 18, upon this rock, I will bill my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. If God before you, who can be against you? No weapon formed against you. We'll be able to prosper in every tongue that rise against you in judgment. It shall be condemned. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I want you to join your faith with me, Saints. In the name of Jesus Christ, many of your people tooling into this broadcast this morning. They are faced with some of the toughest circumstances and situations that they have ever faced in their entire lives. Minister to them this morning. Strengthen them this morning. Give them the victory. God, that thing, that hot, have them afraid. Stepping, I bind the spirit of fear. I rebuke the spirit of fear from out of your life. Stepping and turn the tables, stem the tide, turn the tables in their favor, God. Just like you did for the man of God and rescued and saved his ministry. Do it again, Lord. Do it again. Fight for your people, God. Defend your people. David said, "Have it had it not been for the Lord who was on our side." When men rose up against us, they would have swallowed us up. But thanks be unto God, who did not give us as a prey to their teeth. This snare is broken and we are escaped. Blessed be the name of the Lord. You coming out more than a conqueror.
