"Yeah, hit for the hippopotamus it is the Sixers talk podcast brought to you by Wilmington University, Wilm U works, it is the usual suspects Amy Fadoule, big game Amy on the level, no 11, keeping us on the level. Our producer Ben Barry in the cut, pulling strings, making things happen behind the scenes. I am Danny Palmel, so glad you could join us here as we're talking Sixers basketball. And guys, I need to take a moment because I tried to talk to Ben Barry before the podcast about this. But, you know, I was nominated for Emmy and it felt really uncomfortable of me coming on this podcast being with other people who weren't nominated. So I really need to talk to people behind to see my Doug Brown, our boss. I really need to discuss why I need to come on here with someone who wasn't nominated. That was my no-alliance, is that pretty good? Is that a good no-alliance? It was. But did you see who else was nominated in your category? Oh, you? Were you? Yes. Weirdo. What? A weird flex by you. I thought that was a perfect no-alliance. I thought that was a perfect no-alliance, I thought that was pretty good, no? It really wasn't. That doesn't make any sense. But, apparently... You want a shoe deal? Yeah, apparently he took an exception to having to spend time at Anthony Edward's shoe event, according to Time Magazine, he was quoted there that he was frustrated by that. I just thought that was pretty funny. He goes back. The member no-alliance is the one that said, like, world championship, why do they call them world champions? Because they don't play the world, which is actually kind of funny because they really do play the world. But that was his... There was that beef. Do you remember that? Yeah, I do. But that's where I tell you from. I feel like he stretched it a little too far, not wanting to pull up to a party. It's a party. You want to go to a party? Yeah, for someone else's shoe. Why doesn't he get a shoe? He's got a gold medal, too. I don't think anybody would buy those shoes. I just know what... They made me somewhat fast, like who allows, I would absolutely buy those shoes. Yeah. He's a more famous Noah than this one right here, but he certainly has a fan base, but yeah, it is remarkable how in the NBA universe there's comments about world champions and whatever have led him to be a bit of a villain. So yeah, I don't think many NBA fans or Anthony Edwards fans are buying no Lyle shoes, but he can call himself the fastest man in the world and get good for him. That's certainly a well-earned distinction. Yeah, the Venn diagram of people who like Adidas and Ant Edwards and Noah Liles, I don't know if that quite intersects the way people might expect, but we are the champions. How about that? The team USA brings home the gold and Joellen B quoted afterward in an interview with Mike Sealski just saying how much fun it was to be on the side rooting for Steph and not be on the receiving end of those three-point barrages and man, the more you see the replay of that last three he hit over Wimby and I forget who the other player was, but not only was it from the hit three-pointer fading away from the basket, but LeBron and Durant were wide open on the other side of the court. But only Steph Curry gets the green light in that way to shoot that basketball at that time. Guys, reflections on watching that type of performance for him on that international stage and it was fun being on the side rooting for Steph and not rooting against him in that instance. Yeah, he's different. He's truly well-class and certainly bolsters the case that he's like the greatest shooter shooter who ever lived. I think it might have been Nico Batun, he was getting some very difficult reps there trying to guard Steph Curry late and to his credit made him take a lot of shots that are tough for just about anyone else in the world, but yeah, it was an awesome game. I think it lived up to the expectations just from an entertainment standpoint. Victor Wim and Yama was really freaking good and took it to Joellen Bead a little bit in the opening minutes and Team USA had to work for it. France unfortunately had some off games from their guard, struggled from three-point land and Steph Curry very much did not. He was ridiculous. He just does a lot of things that are hard to grasp and kind of defy basketball logic. So yeah, I think for me it just really enhances this impression that he has changed a generation of basketball and the trajectory of the sport and he's just bolstered his legend in a big way with that game. So yeah, this was a game I think the U.S. does not win if Steph Curry is not on their team. Despite the 11 other players being awfully good, they very much needed Steph Curry to be Steph Curry with the gold medal on the line. So yeah, pretty incredible stuff. Overall, the game was just, you know, you thought that they had in hand and then France fought back and it went down to the wire and that's, it was such a great experience to watch it. And you talked about Joellen Bead having to watch and how much those guys enjoyed me. LeBron and Steph have had some serious battles over the years and seeing those guys come together I thought at the end was just really rewarding. It just showed you what this is all about and you have to remember this is Steph's very first Olympics. He's never played in the Olympics and this is the only one he's going to play and he really went out with a bang, he started off pretty slow. I know night night. Then did you see his shirt afterwards with the, it was in French, the night night was in French. It was just tremendous. How do you pronounce that? Amy? I don't, I didn't. I was flat here though. I don't, I don't know. Probably night night. Right. How you say it? Wait, wait. Yeah. I saw it. It's like. Yeah. Whatever it is. On the French button. It was pretty though though. You're 100% correct. Awesome. Those guys just, you know, if you're going to go out, that was the way to go out. He's never played in the Olympics before and LeBron James full on, you know, grandpa mode yet somehow still doing the stuff he does and it just, you, Steph did have a slow start to the Olympics and, and it was just great to see the last two games, obviously the Serbian game and then the French game, he really took over and those guys enjoyed every single bit of it. I just bummed it's over because they were so much fun to watch and I don't know that we'll see a team quite like that again because you won't have LeBron on it and you won't have Steph Curry certainly or Durant and those guys went out. That's it. That's it for them. I can't imagine they'll be playing the Olympics again and I just, you wonder those lot been made of, you know, is this team better than the dream team of 92 and that was such a different team. There's guys that were obviously in the prime Jordan was in his prime bark. It was in prime. There was guys that were on the older side like Larry Bird, but it's the argument is probably there more than it's been with any other team just because you have one of the greatest shooters. Have not the greatest shooter on this team out of James, one of the best players of all time and then a freak like Kevin Duran who can just score it will. And I think that's where France just didn't have the answer on the wings and certainly on the perimeter to deal with a lot that the US had. But yeah, it was great seeing Victor Webb and Yama. I mean, he took it very hard. Something like that is exactly. He is going to be a problem. He's going to be. He's going to be. He's going to be. He's going to be a problem period. That's it. We've seen him in the NBA. He's going to be a problem. But next Olympics, USA better have Chad Holmgun ready to go because they're going to need some kind of weapon to to go against that guy because he is he's the villain story starts somewhere. And for him, it started on that night for sure the thing that about the whole stuff thing and you guys can say what you want, but you know, we have all these NBA experts and evaluators who determine, you know, projecting what people will be and things like that. The same stuff we saw in that gold medal game, August 10th, I think it was the same stuff we saw in that gold medal. It's the same stuff he was doing at Davidson and she doesn't turn him it like nothing has changed. Nothing's changed. If anything, his range has just gotten deeper and his confidence is just grown because they're talking about the favorite celebrations. This is before it even happened and they're talking about his night, night and whatever else. It turned around, but no brought it up earlier. And I know, Danny, you can attest to it from seeing with your own eyes. He is literally change like everybody changed the game somewhat. You cannot go to a single AAU tournament or youth basketball tournament and not have these kids jacking up threes, not not as pretty, not even close to being as pretty as what you see from Steph Curry, but they all know that is how the game is. These players come over and you can go back further. If you want to go to the big men shooting, I think that was a Dirk Novitsky thing. He kind of changed the way big men play, but overall, the overall game is so much more important on the perimeter offensively. And that's because of Steph Curry. And he's always been that guy. He was that guy at Davidson. He was that guy in high school when Virginia Tech said, I don't know, maybe if you pay your way the first year, we might have a spot for you. Oh my God. They got up and left, right? How long? And the rest of the people. Yeah, it was weird because, you know, Seth Greenberg is now on television talking about it and it's never made an NCAA tournament. So maybe if he had gone back, I didn't sign, I guess, a little 2020, but he truly changed the game, has changed it in a way that, you know, you see youth basketball and I see it. These kids just think everything has to be a long range. And the mid-range game is so important for a lot of reasons, but on the international stage, the mid-range. That's why Carmelo Anthony, I thought, was such a good international score. He had a good mid-range, but Steph showed him that the threes key and he made him pay. He made him go to sleep. It was... It's crazy to see. I mean, how many... The last AU tournament you went to, Danny, how many kids jacked up threes? Every single one on the team? You know what the crazy thing is? It's the fact that that's how they warm up. They don't even start close to the basket. They warm up from 3. That drives me insane. Like their first few shots are from 3. I'm like, wait a minute, like, get your rhythm first, get you a break of sweat and then step off to 3. Nope. And I would even say that some of that Steph effect is kind of what accentuates Joel and Bead's game in a way. He shoots threes and hangs around a perimeter and is affected by some of that excitement that Steph brings shooting the threes and whatnot, you really have to be in-depth analysis to get the full ripple effects of what Steph brought to the game. And remember, at Davidson, it was LeBron, I think Carmelo and D-Way going to Steph's games at Davidson and now they're playing on the same team. It just... The ripple effects, the butterfly effect of Steph Curry, you could probably do a two-hour documentary on it. Very easily. Yeah. The performance is just really stands out for me with him. I think before, when we watched basketball, a lot of the things that would make us go, oh my God, it was athleticism and dunks and power and Steph Curry, his warm-ups alone are must-see viewing and you have hordes of warriors, fans at every single road game watching him shoot 35, 40 footers with ease. And yeah, for me, it's not just that he can make a shot when he is open or not open. It's the off-ball movement and the creativity and the brilliance and the warriors, split cuts and the perpetual motion, like so much of this, people and teams try to replicate, but he kind of can't. He's one of one, but yeah, I think all of that has absolutely really led to an evolution of the sport where offense is definitely less stagnant in many cases and you kind of need to have players who are capable of hurting you in so many ways and able to shoot threes. Like, just thinking back to four years ago at the Olympics or four years before that, I think it's less common now to see someone who's a big man and incapable of shooting. Like, whatever your height, you kind of need to be able to be a threat as a shooter or at least respected. So yeah, it's pretty hard to detail all the ways that he has led the sport to change, but I think yeah, like if you're a fan of basketball, you're grateful that he exists and that so many people are now trying to copy what he does even though, again, that is very much an impossible thing to do. This wasn't intended to be a Steph Curry conversation, just kind of blocks in that way. Listen, when you drop 36, you're all good, you're going to get talked about. One of the hilarious things that came out of all of the Olympic hoopla was that this same guy we're talking about, Steph Curry making shots to the opposite basket from the tunnel and throwing it over his head and making it and doing the throw the layup all the way in the sky and then bounce off the floor, he can do all that stuff but can't spin the ball on his finger. Like, like, who would have thought that, who would have thought that that guy was like don't be got to pass on that because I guess he didn't, you know, in my mind, he's never occurred to him something that he never did as a kid because he didn't grow playing basketball. How was that possible? Right. This was higher than basketball that you never thought, Hey, let me just Harlem Globetrotters do it all the time, right, nope, not him though, doesn't matter. I also don't think he has to even shave anymore. Does he think you think he shaves? Probably not. No, I'm like, he has to shave. Babyface assassin. It's amazing. We have watching him at the Olympics, it's only one time but it was a heck of a time. I didn't get treated to such a great, as great a performance as we did from Joel and B against team Serbia, where he really rescued, helped rescue team USA with Steph Curry down the stretch, but they don't reach the gold medal match without Joel and B's contribution offensively. A defensive only scores four points there in that game, but what a dream realized for this guy who comes over from Cameroon and his teenage years because of the basketball Africa, Lukumba, Mute camp, he gets discovered, comes over here and figures out how to play the game after playing JV and working his way up to varsity and the Kansas and the injuries and all that and then become a US citizen and then join the American team and leave them to gold medal like what a storybook ending for him here as far as the Olympics are concerned. I mean, it's really, you know, life imitates art and so on and so forth, it's just what an incredible Hollywood couldn't script it better type of ending for Joel and B. Yeah, you love to say my life is like a movie and yeah, we got another little piece of that here. Yeah, the gold medal game was not as fine as moment, only got 11 minutes and yeah, as we said was not sharp in the early going and Victor Wim and Yama kind of looks impossible for anyone to handle it, you know, when he's at his best, I think. But yeah, in beat was pretty good in the in the second half played physically against France's smaller lineup drew his free throws, played pretty good defense as well. And, you know, I think looking back on the game, that stretch was was important for the U.S. that then beat was able to get them off to a good start in the second half and built a double digit lead that was looking rather ten U.S. though, but, you know, before Steph Curry did his thing in the fourth, but yeah, and be it's and be it's story is is an awfully unique one as as has been well documented. He could have chosen three countries for this Olympics, he ultimately picked the United States and, you know, he's talked about just his son being a big part of that, his son born in this country, he wants to leave a great legacy for his kid and this is this is something he'll he'll be able to tell the kids and the potential future grandkids and all of that Olympic called metal is a big, big deal and Joellen beat did play his part in the U.S. get in the job done. Yeah, I mean, like if we're looking back at the Olympics as a whole, he has had better five, six game stretches of basketball, but absolutely fair, I think to call that game against Serbia essential for the U.S. and he was he was awesome in my mind in that game overall. So credit to him for his performance in the semi and ultimately coming home with the gold is a fantastic achievement for the U.S. and for in beat as an individual. I just liked it. It was fun to watch those guys every time he touched the ball. He got booed. The players really his teammates started to kind of embrace that and you saw it at the gold medal ceremony, they announced and soon as they see him, soon as they know he's the next on the medal, the booth start raining down, the announcers announce it and you can see all the other players being like, bring it on. The guy loves to play the villain. He loves to troll people, but I just I thought it was great. It's a great experience. Certainly. I think it lived up to the hype for him. You're some great comments from him from Joel and B from all the players just talking about how much fun this was for them. It's such a different experience, something he's never been a part of. He's never been a part of a team USA type of competition, whether it's an AAU or the under 19 or any of these other kind of elite teams that these guys grow up playing on. So for him to be a part of it and a bonafide, all-star experience and with the weight of something like a gold medal on the line, I thought was really impressive and anybody that's the people there, they're going to hate on it, Joel and Bead either way, they're going to point out that he only had four points in 11 minutes or they're going to point out that he was the fourth best player in the Serbian. Whatever people want to say, it's I don't think he cares. I know it doesn't change the way that I looked at his experience. I thought it was something very cool, his whole decision to do so, to play for team USA. I thought meant a lot and it was just so much fun to watch. The expressions on his face of him cheering on the sideline in that gold medal game, those guys watching Steph Curry just go lights out, LeBron on a breakaway knowing that there's nothing that's going to stop him. Those guys see it up close but to be able to play on a teammate with him as a teammate, you know what, Steph Curry or Kevin Durant or LeBron James is something that Joel and Bead I think is going to really take away and the experience, listen, they were there for one thing, it was to bring home the gold and they did it and it's a lot more difficult than I think people realize there's people that tune in and think this US is just going to roll over like the rest of the world hasn't caught up in a big way in basketball, this is not the 92 games, it's not even the 96 games, it's much more even now with, you know, dozens and dozens of NBA basketball players across those other rosters so it'll be interesting to see and in 2028 who comprises that roster, Joel would be obviously 34 years of age, this could have just checked off the box for him and think, all right, maybe I'm good, maybe you'll try it, maybe you'll try a different country, who knows but at this point, I don't really care, he won one for USA and he got in, you know, good shape, he had basketball, actual basketball in the offseason which I think is something important when you're talking about a guy coming back from the injuries that he sustained towards the end of last season. And you mentioned the caveat that if he is playing for Team USA in 2028, he has said if his home country of Cameroon does qualify that he will throw his hat into the ring with them, be very interesting considering the groundswell support and momentum that South Sudan has been able to produce with Lowell Dang. That team was hella fun to watch. So much fun. Maybe there could be a trickle down effect, maybe a little bit of that could slide over to some momentum towards Cameroon and Pascal Siacom obviously a big name there with that team and he and Joellen be together could be a formidable foe for some of these countries out here. 2028 man, you know, Jason Tatum will definitely be playing a different role on that team. I think he'll be playing, I think he'll get some run. Well, it's funny because I feel like Joel's comments in that Sielsky discussion, he mentions Tyrese Maxie as a player who has the capability of being, you know, lights out from three, like Steph Curry, a player who didn't quite get the shine or opportunity here with this Olympics or even, you know, being invited and trying out and being in the mix with the team. So, you know, Durant, you know, Diana Tarasi was on the women's gold medal team and she was 42 years old. So let's not say that there's no chance that any of these guys might make the team, but the feature players will be a lot different than the ones that are here now. And you think of Jason Tatum, you think of Jalen Brown, you think of Tyrese Maxie, Halliburton, Devin Booker, guys who were in the mix, you have for this Olympics, Devin Booker would be a lot, particularly with the glue role he played with this team and kind of taking a back seat. No, you were about to, you were thinking, Yeah, not like, I think we should give to Devin Booker quite a lot of credit. I think played a glue role, but he had 18 points in the gold medal game. Yeah, it did absolutely everything. Team USA asked of him. And yeah, they needed, needed Devin Booker to play that role at a very high level to win the gold. So yeah, maybe, maybe he gets another Kentucky guy on board and in Tyrese Maxie, I get Bam out of bio as well, of course, had some nice moments in this Olympics. But Tyrese Maxie, you know, should should be in his prime at 27 years old. And if he's capable of the continued improvement that has defined his NBA career thus far, I think he absolutely would be among the best 12 players in this country. I think that that seems the case to me. And yeah, it was, you know, I think a little, a little odd that he wasn't part of that initial 40 man mix. I think it was like, was like 45 people and he wasn't included in that. Yeah, I mean, you know, as we, as we've said, who knows exactly what goes into that and what those discussions entail. But I mean, Graham Hill did go to Duke. So that could have something to know. I'm just talking Robinson was on that list. Duncan Robinson. Right. Yeah, as we know, like a lot of it's about, okay, we know these roles are right. Yeah, actually important at the international level, or we know, we already have guys who are going to be, you know, pretty high minute for us at these spots or whatever. But yeah, I think, as Joellen Bied said, Tyrese Maxie has shown great shooting ability. He's, you know, improving as a lead ball handler and decision maker. If he's able to check some of those Steph Curry boxes in his own, especially speedy way, then I think he looks like a good team USA player in four years time. But a lot can change in four years. And Tyrese Maxie will hope it, I guess, changes for the better as far as his prospects of representing his country. But I think he's quite clearly a name that should be in that discussion as someone who's already an all star at the 23 years old. My neighbor, getting the lawnmower going, I'm going to have to shut this window on a second. But, um, and Edwards, obviously, uh, also, uh, first writer refusal on the team USA stuff, I imagine him and Devin Booker would be the back court that they will probably start working with. But all that being said, um, a lot to look forward to in 2028. We'll dive a little bit more into that. But let's take a quick time out here. Uh, back here in the six year's talk podcast. Um, it's funny. Um, I was going to the chat to get the, uh, reads here for our commercial, but, um, our producer Ben Barry with some interesting comments here. Uh, his 2028 team USA roster predictions, Bam, Palo Ben Caro, Devin Booker, Kale Bridges, Anthony Edwards, Ted Hongrin, Tatum, Derek White and Tyree Smaxie, Cooper Flag, Donna Mitchell, Jalen Brunson, and a Halliburton. No, Donna Mitchell. No, Donna Mitchell. Okay. Um, Cooper flag, uh, a guy. Yeah, you'll be on it. Thought that should have been on the bench on this roster on this roster. Who thought Cooper Flag should have been on the bench in this roster? Uh, there was some speculation that he should have Cooper Flag's mom. Got the look, um, uh, for experience and whatnot. Do you want to have like the Christian late in a role like you need? Hey, there's a no, we're all good Cooper Flag and wait your turn. The only person that thought that is a person that hosts the Phillies talk podcast. And if you want to check out that person, you can talk to them, but there is no way that anybody that's watched basketball, it doesn't wear a Duke shirt around thought that Cooper Flag should have been on the bench of this. Just so we can, you don't need any run. What do you need to like sit around? The tires, Elbert and did that. Jason Tatum did that. You're all good. You guys can carry that over before we move on to 2028. Um, are we remiss by not mentioning, uh, drew holidays, a thumbprint and, uh, it kind of his growth into being this two time NBA, um, champion as well as all star appearances, all defensive teams, uh, his role that he's played here and this team USA when, um, of course started out as a 76er help initiate the process and that trade with no one's no well. Um, what, what a player he has become. Um, and, uh, you know, it's just interesting that, you know, a lockdown defender, a guy that you would think, um, would get more praise, but seems to be a little under the radar compared to some of these other stars. Seems like that's changed in the last two or three years. I feel like everyone with an NBA opinion, it kind of agrees that drew holidays underrated. So I assume that's becoming a little bit less true, but absolutely. And his game is really well suited to, to the international style. He's a fantastic on ball guy who I think benefits a little from the greater leniency as far as fouls, not being called too much on the perimeter and with the hand checking. Um, and yeah, he, he's all just a straight up winning player. Like he's, you know, really a big shot in the fourth quarter. Um, and definitely does not rely on the shooting, you know, fantastic, defensively, um, willing, willing to get the ball to guys who are more accomplished scorers than him and, uh, just does the right thing time after time after time. And, uh, yeah, I think it's, I think it's been neat to see this stage of his career, uh, him shining in, in international, you know, moments and, um, also, yeah, winning at the MBA level in a way that did not happen, um, early in his career in Philly. So yeah, definitely, um, a process mark left, left on the Olympics and in the form of drew holiday. Well, just the reason that, that I think drew holiday is such a good fit on this team or really any team you think about it. And he has kind of taken that. You mentioned book being a glue guy drew holidays as a glue guy in a different way. And the fact that he really bridges that kind of gaps, you know, defense into offense type of thing. He's a guy that does all the little stuff. And, uh, Ben Barry put in there. Why, why would I not want Don of a Mitchell on, on team USA? Nothing against Son of a Mitchell, uh, his game does not translate very well to me into this kind of aspect. He's not particularly a good three point shooter, um, the volume shooter shoots a lot of threes, but it's about a 36, 37% clip, um, which isn't terrible, but we're looking at, you know, for a guy that's going to be like your, your go to guy that, that number needs to be in the 40s. And I just feel like his game just doesn't translate, whereas a guy like drew holiday or, or any of these guys. And I think Anthony Edwards learned this a lot on the fly. There was times where he really struggled out there trying to find his spacing. Um, it is a completely different game. Obviously, um, it's a different level than what these guys are used to. And I don't mean like different level as far as intensity and because it's all, you know, the playoffs, NBA playoffs are intense, but this is a level of intensity that some of them might not be used to. And different from the world championships where he was so dominant. Exactly. You still dominant. This is, this is just on a greater scale. Everything is just, you know, kind of magnified. And the way that like I looked at that Serbian team, everybody looked like they were almost the same size. That's a very, very long rangey team. And then you'll, you'll go up against France where they obviously have some real height with Victor Webb and Janima and Rudy go bare, but they were lacking a little bit on the wing. So I don't think people, if you watch the difference of those two, like think about it, those are two very different teams and team USA is the same, but they had to make certain switches. So it's harder for those guys to have their game translate instantly because we're expecting, yeah, you had these war ups and whatever, but it doesn't really, it doesn't really translate as easily when it comes to the world stage. So though Mitchell is a very talented player and can score it at, you know, a good clip, I just don't know that I would like him on that team, especially when you're looking at the other people that are out there. Um, like a Michael Bridges, who I think would fill that drew holiday type of role. If you're going for it and looking at who might be on that team, Tyree Smaxie, I do think I know Jalen Brown, there was some, some ill kind of will there at the end of that. That's a guy that I would have on the team. And Anthony Davis, I know he went to Kentucky, but I do have to give the man will be 35, but he has played on team USA, I think since he was 19. So he would be the elder statesman if they were to go to him in LeBron will be 43. And who knows? Who knows? Like no, he'll show up and drop 20. So yeah, probably should should just also mention bridges. It's new next teammate Jalen Jalen Brunson, like I thought he should have been on this team personally. But yeah, of course, you know, making a little bit of the mellow comp and or the KD comp just purely in terms of that ability to make really, really tough shots and a really, really big moments. And yeah, I think Jalen Brunson's another guy who should be in the conversation. Obviously, Tyree's Halberg as well. So yeah, not an easy cut to make. And we'll see where things are at for years. Chad Holmgren, going to need chat against Wimby. This is a necessary thing. Hopefully check and say healthy. That guy is a problem. He's the only person that's going to be able to even like affect his shot. Hey, man, you think back to the world championships with Canada coming out on top. They didn't even make the medal stand here at the Olympics. Well, Dylan Brooks will do that. Yeah, you hate to love Brooks, one the world the world championships. Yeah, Canada, yeah, did not do not make the medal round this time around Jordan Fernandez, coach and coach and that's you know, Marie, I don't we talked about this last time. No one and I are talking. I think he something might he might be heard or something like that. I've never seen him struggle like that. That's really bad. He shot 14% from three for the tournament. Like that is atrocious for a guy that's a three point specialist. Personally, Jalen Williams, another interesting name who might be in the mix 2028 for if he can his stock continues to rise and pick and chili kicking off of that OKC Thunder team. But hey, listen, a lot going on in the world to hoops. I am personally experiencing a bit of withdrawal from the Olympics because there were so many options of sports and not even stuff that you were not necessarily aware of or quite keen to and but learned about just by being having so many options between peacock and USA and NBC 10. It just not having as many options. It's fine. I mean, this is what we're kind of used to, but it definitely having so many outlets and not having those now is a little weird. But we will soldier on with the Phillies and the Union and Sixers training camp will be here in about 10 weeks. Eagles as well are Thursday against the New England Patriots. Yeah, we will be there every step of the way. Noah, what are we working on on the website? What can people catch there from you? Yeah, we've gotten some MBA scheduling leaks. So there's our name. Yes. There's our name is returned into the Clippers. I saw it. It's that November 6th. I think of this. Yeah, that's per Chris Haynes. So yeah, earlier in the season, then is the norm for the Sixers to make an L.A. trip. Sixers also reportedly going to Boston on Christmas and starting their season like at stacker versus bucks in Philly this time. So that that should be a fun one. And yeah, the NBA just released the NBA Cup calendar formerly known as the end season tournament. So details on that there as well. But yeah, I expect the full 82 will be out pretty soon. So yeah, I think that's that's kind of the main item of note as far as Sixers and NBA news. So yeah, it'll be nice. Nice when the full 82 is out there. Obviously the NBA makes us wait a little bit for it, but we will have it soon enough. Not a bad trick to join the Sixers in November and L.A. No, why is it so late? The NHL had their schedule out a month ago. They're the same arenas most of the time. Why? Why do they do us like this? I mean, I think they like they like building the hype a little bit and trick trickling it out there. But I feel like there's a middle ground that I would not mind. But this is the norm for the NBA. I guess know what we're in for. And yeah, I got it. Got to think that within the next two to three days, we will have a full 82 games and that will be nice for everyone. Yes, it would. On August 15th, we'll get the two months before come on. Hey, pay attention to the details, folks. They're trickling out slowly. But like Noah said, hopefully we'll get the full 82 here soon. We appreciate you listening and watching to the Sixers talk podcast brought to you by Wilmington University for Amy Fidul, Noah Levick and Ben Barry. I'm Danny Palmels. We'll see you next time.
