In his sermon, “There’s No Escape!”, he drives home the point Paul is arguing: absolutely no thing can separate the Christian from the love of God. In Christ, your life circumstance, whether good or bad, will not lessen or increase God’s love for you. Paul started Romans 8 by reassuring the Christian reader/listener that there is “no condemnation” for those in Christ. He ends the chapter by saying that there is nothing that can separate them from God’s love - a love so great that it could never be fully understood.
