Primary Care Plus, a whole lot more. WXXL HD-1 to Varys Orlando. This is the weekend. Hey, it's Olivia Rodrigo. Johnny's house, mornings. Orlando's number one hit music station all day. [MUSIC PLAYING] 1-6-7. Orlando. Now, the Johnny's house entertainment news, with Ray. Ray just dropped her kids off the kindergarten for the first time. She's an emotional wreck. So we told her we had to take the rest of the day. So Brian's doing celebrity news. What's going on? We were talking this morning about the Olympics and how they wrapped it up, and they sent it over to LA. Snoop Dogg, Tom Cruise, Dr. Dre, they all helped do it. Some of the early plans for the LA Olympics just came out. So we were talking about how they're going to do it. They're going to go carless. They said they're going to have buses handle everything. There'll be no parking. There'll be no cars allowed at the Olympics. We got four years to work on that. They said they're going to bring thousands of buses from neighboring cities and states to help them make the carless event. They're going to spend a billion dollars on just the buses. Oh my gosh. Who's spending it? I mean, LA, because Paris, it costs $10 billion to put on the Olympics. That's what it cost them. So a billion dollars is already set aside. But they already have problems in LA. I know. I think it would have just been more economical if you just built like a new garage, parking garage. No, because I think what they're trying to push is that LA is like on the forefront of getting rid of cars altogether. So I think this is going to be a push towards that. Wow. And this ain't a political statement. I think it's going to be a push towards what California is already trying to do, which has become a carless society. I think I think what they're trying to do is as long as you own them buses, you ain't going in areas that they don't want you to see. True, they can control where you end up. That's right. As long as you're buzzing, you're taking bus to A to B. You ain't going to see what's over there at Z. You don't want to see that. It would alleviate a lot of police problems as well, because there's no traffic. So I mean, I guess I get it, but a billion dollars is a lot of money, man. I'm not sure exactly how it's going to go. This is funny. Everything goes full circle. Like it just the way life works. It's the circle of life. There's a video that's gone viral of Justin Bieber being harassed by a bunch of teenage kids at a Beverly Hills Hotel for their TikTok. And he gets so mad and they've got him in the corner and he keeps going, you guys think this is funny? It's not funny, man. Get the hell out of here. He was a little snot-nosed kid. And everyone's saying, aha, now that you're 30 and you're married and you're a grown-ass man, you don't like the way you used to act. You remember that neighbor that he had? He was driving his neighbor crazy, like, dude. Yup. Ah. So he was waiting for his wife at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills. And a bunch of teenagers were at a bar mitzvah. And they noticed him and they started messing with him and harassing him and yelling stuff at him and videoing it. So he tried to walk away and they're following him. Oh, yeah. And videoing. And he's clearly annoyed. He finally turns around and says, this isn't funny, man. And everyone's like, oh, this is so hilarious. I guarantee that neighbor, he ended up moving because the neighbor was like, dude, you're loud. You're having parties. Yup. Hey, shut up, old dude. Well, there you go. You're old dude now. This is kind of crazy. Cartoon Network, their website is officially shut down. What happened to the beginning of the end of Cartoon Networks? They pulled all their content from CartoonNetwork.com. And it redirects everybody to the landing page on Macs. So they're starting to migrate all the content over to Macs. So Cartoon Network is going to continue 11 hours of programming from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. And that's pretty much it. And eventually, I think it's all going to end up on Macs at some point. Their site has been up since 1998. Has it really? Yeah. And they realized that after that, nobody's watching the network. So we might not share it. I mean, you can get all that stuff somewhere else probably now. And this is kind of funny because Tom Brady was over at the Olympics and then he jetted back because he's got some interest in buying into the NFL now that he's not a player anymore. And he went to Vegas and he did the walkout with Mike Tyson for the Morgan Wallen show. So Morgan Wallen always starts his show with his on Broadway girls. And there's a camera that follows him through the tunnels until he walks on a stage. And so walking with him during the walkout, Mike Tyson and Tom Brady. Nice. Because they're both all Vegas now. Because Tom Brady does own a part of the ACEs, the WNBA team. So and then Tom Brady was at the actual-- the game with the Cowboys the other day talking to Jerry Jones, too. Because I think he's trying to get into ownership. Really? So OK, good for him. All right, we're coming back. Let's find out what is trending in the world today on Johnny's house. Oh, and to reach what is trending, ma'am. Yeah, so Brian was talking about the D23 Expo that went down this past weekend. That's all things Disney. Well, to add on to it. Miley Cyrus, she was inducted into the youngest Disney legend, D23, which is a Hall of Fame awards program for people who have had a significant impact on the Disney legacy, basically. And some of the big names that are already inducted, it's like Christina Aguilera, Betty White, Oprah, Winfrey. But it was really funny because, Miley, she went up to get her award. And she, like, jokingly said, back in 2005, Disney was on a mission to rebuild the company. That's why they hired Bob Iger and Hannah Montana. Yeah, Hannah was the deal. Yeah, she was. I remember interviewing her backstage when she came to town. Really? This is what she was doing, something world. Best of both worlds. No way. One part of concert, she was Hannah. And the other part, she was Miley. And interviewing her in a glass case with that wig. And I never watched Hannah Montana. And I was like, you know, it's the whole day wig. And they're like, dude. Yeah, she puts it on. You don't even know who she is. It's a whole different person. Yeah, yeah, I would like that. I was like, oh, OK, all right, that's so cool. Congratulations. Yeah, the Olympics are all wrapped up. Brian also gave us a rundown of that. If you want to catch it on the podcast. They said USA one whole thing. We did, yeah. Because we tied with China for the gold medal count. But overall, we beat them by 35 medals. Yeah, they're not like us. Yeah, but something really cool that also took place for the first time ever. Paris 2024 Olympics gave the public athletes the same dream to run on the Olympics marathon route at night. So of course, this is the same path the Olympic runners took, which is a 26.2 mile path. And a lot of people just definitely did not hold back. Like if you if you see people kind of posting up any footage of them running through these like marathons, it's probably the public given that opportunity to do that. So well, I mean, they better tell the neighborhoods. Because, you know, I'm sure they had to block off some streets, 26 miles. You're about to tell somebody, like, hey, man, the Olympic been over a day or so. You know, oh, I'm just saying. McDonald is bringing back the nostalgic vibes with their new collectible cups. So they're going to be rolling out six cups that are tied to like a breakfast or a lunch meal. It's going to be called the collectible meal. And each cup is different with different brands and characters, like Hot Wheels and Beanie Babies, Hello Kitty, Shrek, McDonald's. So basically what they're supposed to do is like give the customers like that nostalgic memory that you can hold on to. Man, someone found a storage shed with all the other. Yeah. What are we going to do with all this inventory? All the unused stuff. It wasn't a storage. It was a warehouse somewhere that was like, wait a minute. Hang on a second, don't bring stuff back. And this is really cool. So a community neighborhood in Texas is nearing the completion of its all made out of 3D printing material. Yeah. So this is the world's largest 3D printing neighborhood. It started back in 2022. It was made from like this massive 45 foot wide machine that weighs like 4.75 tons. And it meticulously constructs these homes like layer by layer. I've seen it. Yeah. And it's like you can build the frame of the house in like a day. Crazy. Yeah. But the homes are designed to be like highly durable, resistant to water, mold, termites, extreme weather. And out of like the 100 the 100 homes that are supposed to be done about 95 are done. And at least a quarter of these homes are already bought. Nope. I want my house built by a dude with a hammer. I mean, like I'm interested to see the long run of all this. You know, you put like this cement material in this machine. It just follows the track and it grows and that's it. So that's wild. That is the future. We come back. If you drop your kid off for the very first time to school, we have questions for you on Johnny's 60% chance of rain. We talked about this earlier today. We're launching an initiative called Together We Can. What we're going to do is take a title on school and give them everything that they need to see if we can make this school an A school. And we're going to provide them already with school supplies and everything that they need. But it has to go a little bit longer than that. We if you want to help us and follow this dream of showing that as a community, we can band together and do absolutely anything. You can follow us on our social media. Central Florida, together we can. We have it on Facebook. We have Instagram. We also have Central Florida, together we can.com. And in the next couple of weeks, we're going to say, hey, listen, can you do this? Can you provide this? Do you have this art skill? Because I think collectively, as a community, we can do anything. We're going to start with this one school. We may go to a family. We may go to a house. We may go to several schools. It just shows that with the help of everyone listening, collectively, as a community, together we can do absolutely anything. You want to be a part of this movement. You can find us at Central Florida, together we can.com, or go to any of our social media platforms. And you can find a link there. We just started our Instagram today. And we have 67 people following. Nice. And two photos. Well, we started with zero. We started with zero. Well, just one. Just me. But anyway, you want to read up on it, check out on social media, and read up on it, and be a part of it. Because I think we can grow this thing going to do amazing things in our community. But we can only do them if we do them together. So at Central Florida, together we can. It's part of the Baby DJ program right here on XL1067. OK. All right. This is it. Every year, it's a tradition. We call this first drop off. This is when you drop your kid off this, either in a kindergarten or the first grade. And you drop them off for the very first time. We want to find out how you feeling. And then we have a question. Because we've been doing this for several years. I just noticed the last couple of years that school's gotten aggressive and thrown you out. Yeah. I think they've realized that it makes the transition easier for the kids. OK. Because they don't really care about your feeling. Yes. Because I need these kids to be easy to teach as fast as possible. And we talked to Ray and Ray is like, they made an album. Oh, listen, if you drop your kid off, don't get the hell up out of here. Time to start teaching them. So I want to find out if you've dropped your child off for the very first time. How was it? How did it go? How you doing? How you doing? Did you get the look back? What were they wearing? Were they able to sleep? What are you doing now? Because some people took the day off. Some people, like it was so emotional that we couldn't handle it. I'm going to go wrong. That's what we got right here. But we're going to do it. Excel, good morning. What's your name? Hi, I'm Tiffany. How are you? Tiffany, you've been crying, haven't you? A little bit. I can hear your voice. You've been crying. Have you smoked six cigarettes this morning? One of the owners. We're both. We're crying. All right, so how old is your baby? She's five. And she's going into kindergarten? Yeah, today is her first day. All right, we'll slow it down. What was she wearing? It was a little outfit today. Oh, it was the only outfit she actually picked for herself was hello, Kitty, speak with outfit. It was super cute. It was super cute. And how was she this morning? Was she a little nervous? A little antsy. It was doing really well. But then we got to the front. And she goes, I'm scared. Oh, no, what do you do? She told her mama, I'm scared. Mama, mama, I'm scared. OK, mommy and daddy were both there. So I was like, that's normal. Let's just do like what we used to do for pre-k. We'll take a little selfie. We'll get you to the front. And then I've built around for like 10 minutes after they took her into the little breakfast area and got her with her teacher. Until they were finally like, OK, parents. Now it's time to go to the boo-hoo breakfast. If you could just go in that direction and stop lurking. Stop lurking. Yeah. Yeah, start repeating the learning process. So when you saw Yula Angeline, you said, OK, baby, goodbye. Did you-- what did she say? Well, they had this whole thing figured out where they had like the older kids come and like walk her to where she needed to be. So I introduced her to the sweet little girl. She was like, I've been here for five years. I went to kindergarten here too. And then she walked her off. And that's when the two years started. Well, here's the question. When she walked her off, did she look back to see if y'all were still there? Oh, I couldn't see through the tears. I don't know. Oh, no. It's probably for the best. Yeah, probably for the best. So what are you going to do the rest of the morning? Well, honestly, it's my husband's birthday. So we're going to stop by Disney. [LAUGHTER] And he finally has placed on her. You got over that quick. [INTERPOSING VOICES] [INTERPOSING VOICES] [LAUGHTER] [INTERPOSING VOICES] [INTERPOSING VOICES] I'm not maybe in school. Oh, we've got to go to Disney's, right? We've got to go enjoy life. Well, listen, y'all have a great day at Disney. And remember, this will always be recorded. So when she becomes a senior, you'll say, listen. This is what Mommy did when she called in, and you were going to kindergarten. Oh, well, thank you so much. You guys have a great day. Have fun. Happy birthday to your husband. Yeah, have a birthday to Kevin. Hi, Kevin. Bye. [LAUGHTER] Look, I'm sad, never day. [LAUGHTER] We got a free day, baby. [INTERPOSING VOICES] What are you going to-- oh, we're going to Disney, that's my birthday. And theme parks are exponentially cheaper when you ain't got a kid with you. 407, 919, 10067, 877, 919, 10067. If you drop your child off in a kindergarten or in the first grade for the very first time, we want to hear from you. Tell us what you went through. Call us now on Johnny's house. Heading to work, stick with Johnny's house, and listen all day on the iHeartRadio app. Trying to understand us. We're talking to those parents that are dropping their kids off for the first time. It got too observation. Somebody said it's tougher when you're dropping your kid. Oh, the kid is catching the bus for the first time in middle school, which I think is tough. And somebody also said, if you're dropping your kid off in high school, they're senior year. I can see that because it's the last time you'll get to do it. I don't think I'll be celebrating. Hopefully, that kid will be driving. See, my son drove himself to first year of senior year, so we didn't have that. But I could see the middle school, too, because elementary school is like getting you ready. But they push you out of the nests when you do middle school. Well, you're on a bus, and that's your first time. And the school bus is a different environment. Yes, it is. It ain't anyplace else on the planet. I got choked on the school bus. I saw my first lots of things on the school bus. I got choked and said, "Sit over there." When I was in elementary school, we shared a bus with the high school kids. Oh, that's just bad. That's wild. You should never do that. So we were like toys for them. Oh, yes. Never do that. All right, from Wintergarden. Hey, Heather. Good morning. Hi. Good morning. Oh, look at trying to put on a strong face. Look at you. What grade kindergarten or first grade? So kindergarten for my oldest and my youngest first day of daycare was today. Oh, so you're crying about daycare. Daycare and kindergarten. All right. Which one you dropped off first? We dropped off the daycare first. And then my kindergartener helped carry this stuff into the room. It was like, you're going to have a great time at daycare. What was she wearing in kindergarten? Oh, they were both wearing it. Well, he's got his little onesie, baby onesie. He's 18 months. So he doesn't know. He doesn't know right now. He just knows mommy's not there. Right. Yeah, he's the first in the tears when we watch that. Yeah, so right now he's going, I feel abandoned. Yes. Where's the ladies that've been when he says day one? Where is she? Right. Who is this person watching me? Where's my life? What happened here? Did I do something wrong, mom? Did I do something wrong? Why are you leaving me here? So how do you get past that guilt? What's that? Yes, then I had to go do the other one. You just had a rough morning. It was rough morning. Yeah. My kindergartener wasn't scared until the safety patrol opened the car door and then his whole face changed. Oh, yes. Oh, yeah. We're doing that. And that child is going, mom, you're leaving me too? Right. You leaving all of us? You leaving all of us, mom? Will you be back in the car line? Right. Yeah. Are you really going to come pick me up? Oh, my goodness. How you feel right now? I know we're messing with you, but how you feel? Oh, it's rough. Well, I messed up because the daycare drop off took too long that I missed the before school drop off and I ended up in the car line. No. I'm not expecting it. So tomorrow we're going to do better. You are a car line warriors. You are a warrior. Wow. Well, we'll see. We'll try again. So you have to. You have to do them both. You got to pick them up and drop them off today. Yeah. But then I'm passing the pickup in the car line off to the grandparent search. What? You're not a warrior. Give me. Give me your shirt back. You're not a warrior. Yeah. You're in the reserve. That car line is a beast. It is a beast. It is. Don't tell. Don't tell my parents that. They're going to know after one time. Is this the first time? Yeah. Oh, Margaret. Hey, well, you better be ready on Wednesday then because after tomorrow they ain't doing it again. I'm going to give up on me. Yeah. Yeah. Where my husband and I are waiting to get that call, like you need to change your work schedule. Yeah. Yeah. You know what? Grandparents are awesome. But here's the thing. With the car line, either you know, you're going to be, it's like Ricky Bobby, either you're going to be first, or you're going to be last. Yes. Right. Yeah. If I was them, I'd like get there early, but that means you're going to be sitting there for a while, you know, yeah, I'm born. I told them. I said, I hear that these car lines are really bad. No, no, no, here's the worst part. First day of school is the worst. It is the worst. Yeah. Cause no one really knows what's going on. It's a mess. Yes. Everyone's late. Wow. Well, it's going to be fine. First of all, you dropped off both your babies and you feel abandoned and then you lie to your parents. Boy, you're going to have a good day. We're okay. It's like, are you going to Disney too? Yeah. You might want to go. Yeah. I heard. I'm not. Well, hang in there, Heather. Hang in there. Thank you. All right. Bye bye. You too. She tricked her parents. Yeah. I'm right. I'd agree with you. Yeah. You get one day off. Enjoy it. I bet they didn't even ask any questions. Like picking up the kids. Sure. Go to Disney tomorrow. Yes. Yes. You're one day off. It's going to be rough today. It's going to be real rough, man. I'm trying to put on that brave face, but I can hear in that smile that there's been some tears. I can hear it. Oh, 100 percent. 100 percent. And what grade? 100 percent. What grade? He's a kindergartner. Okay. What did he wear today? He wore a -- he loves Barbie, so he had a Barbie t-shirt on and some tie-dye shorts. Wow. Nice. And how was he excited? How did he sleep last night? How was his morning? He slept well. Uh-huh. He was up at 6 a.m. In our room. Yes. Yes. And he said, "Mom, I'm a kindergartner today is my day." Oh, I love that. Nice. I love that. All right. So you walked him to the class. And what happened? He dropped me like a hot pot. No. He's ready for life. Yes. Yeah. Wow. Like not even a glance, kind of like a look like, "Why haven't you left that?" And then he sat down and he opened up his pencil case and that was it. Wow. It's a go. I was like, "Okay, I guess I'll go to the parent breakfast now." When did you start crying? Uh, well, I started crying probably about a week ago. No. And was already crying at like meet the teacher and was tearing up as we were walking into the school. Yeah. And then when I got home, I was like, "Wow, he really, he just left me after five years of death." What? After everything I did for you, Stephanie, that usually happens when they're a teenager. You got it early. Right. I'm in trouble. I'm in trouble. Wow. It's not going to get a best value. There's like, he dropped me like a hot potato. You'd be nothing without me, kid. Nothing. I gave you this life. I made you. I made you. Where do you think that confidence came from, boy? Yeah. Really? Really? You gave too much confidence. Okay. Wow. Well, listen. I'm glad you can laugh about it. He's got a wonderful day. And when you pick him up, he's going to have a lot of stories to tell. I can't wait. All right. Well, thank you for sharing that morning with us. Thanks, guys. Have a great day. Take care. I gave five. Yeah. Five. Yeah. Best five. You can't even look back at your mama. You can't look back. Let's get out of here, y'all. Let's get out of here. Yeah. Let's get out of here. Let's get out of here. [laughter] Let's get out of here. Let's get out of here. Let's get out of here. Let's get out of here. Let's get out of here. Let's get out of here. Let's get out of here. Let's get out of here. Let's get out of here. Let's get out of here. Let's get out of here. Let's get out of here. Let's get out of here. Let's get out of here. Let's get out of here. Let's get out of here. Let's get out of here. Let's get out of here. Let's get out of here. Let's get out of here. Let's get out of here. Let's get out of here. [laughter] Let's get out of here. Let's get out of here. Let's get out of here.
