We appreciate your time. We'll start with how is your rehab going? Rehab's going well. You know, I can't complain. Our arm feels good. You know, it's just it's a day to day process and just kind of continually focusing on that. You know, and just like I said, taking a day by day, but everything's going well. Tyler, you're someone that's been a starter for this club and a relief pitcher for this club and a closer for this club. What Albert Suarez was able to do where being told 15 minutes before first pitch that, hey, bud, you're going to start the game and he goes out five shutout innings. I mean, how impressive was that last night? I mean, you know, a lot of people brought it up to me about, you know, kind of the same thing last year with in Texas whenever Braddish went down. And, you know, I think the best way that I can describe it is like everything just happens so fast that you can't really think about it. And you just kind of go out there and, you know, with everything happening so fast, like it allows you to just kind of relax and just go do it. Like you like, okay, I just got to go out here and just get the job done. And I think that that's, you know, exactly what Suarez is all about. You know, just kind of being the guy that he is and the way that he carries himself. I mean, I'm not surprised by it at all, but you know, I was definitely happy to see him do what he did. Tyler, unfortunately, it feels like these pitching injuries have kind of come in waves. And obviously, most unfortunately, the extent of you and John Means and Kyle Braddish. And now it's kind of seeing it a little bit here now, right? Web's on the aisle now and and Grayson's on the aisle. How tough is it to kind of continue to rally from things like that and to continue to fight down the stretch when you're clearly not at full strength? I mean, you know, it's always tough. And I think that, you know, the best way to relate it is that baseball is a game of failure. And life is really, really difficult. And you're going to fail a lot in life. And I think that each and every single one of us as players, whether we're on the field or off the field, carries that with us. And I think that, you know, you're going to continue to see these guys who, you know, we may be injured. And, you know, there might be guys out there that are going to get injured in the future. But, you know, unfortunately, that's part of the game. And, you know, I think that, you know, you're going to end up seeing guys step up. And I think that that's kind of how it always is. You know, it's, like I said, life is hard game, it's a game of failure. And unfortunately, that's how it goes. But, you know, with life, you have people that step up and really pick you up whenever you're not able to. And, you know, I think that's what we're going to see a lot of, honestly, talking to Tyler Wells is inside access here on the Fantala. You don't tweet a lot, but you made a point to tweet about James McCann last week. Your tweet was that I would go to war every single day for James McCann. But after seeing that, I'm convinced that I would be absolutely useless to him. That's the toughest SOB I've ever met. And he just proved it right there. He took a ball to the face and a fastball right to the nose was bleeding everywhere. And just said, you know, give me some toilet paper, I'll stuff it up and I'll continue to play that that was crazy. But just obviously you felt the need to talk about James McCann. Yeah, I mean, you know, there's I'm going to be honest with you. I think he's probably my favorite teammate I've ever had. I mean, you know, the kind of guy that he is, the kind of person he is on the field, the kind of person he is away from the field. You know, just the more that I've gotten to know him and his family, I think it's just a testament to who he is. And, you know, I think that the kind of leadership that he brings to that clubhouse, the kind of leadership that he brings behind the plate. I mean, you know, as a pitcher, I think having someone like McCann back there is just so confident and inspiring because I mean, he's he's been around the league for a long time. He's seen it all. He's caused some of the best pitchers that this game's ever seen. And, you know, with Justin Berlin or Max Scherzer as just naming two of them. And I'm sure he's caught plenty more. You know, just the knowledge and insight that he has about baseball, but also just kind of the way that he lives his life. And hearing some of the stories that he's told me, it's just, you know, he's such a good dude. And I think that, you know, sometimes people just don't see him the way that we in the clubhouse see him. And I think that, you know, being able to bring that to light and, you know, just enlighten people on just how important he is to not only to the team as a whole, but as he is to individual players like myself. Tyler Jackson, holiday, he made his MLB debut when you were still healthy earlier in the season, and we know struggled in the first stint, just 20 years old. But boy, has he been on a tear since getting recalled. How cool has it been to watch Jackson in the second stint? I mean, it's awesome. I'm unbelievably happy for him and his family. I've talked to Jackson quite a bit over the time that he's been in the organization, and he's such a good down-to-earth kid. I keep calling him a kid, and it's crazy because he's a major league baseball player. But he is young, and I think that the way that he goes about his business and the way that he handles his business, it's no surprise to see him doing what he's doing now. And I think that that's just a really cool thing to see, but it's also a testament again to the kind of person that he is in everything that he's learned from his dad. I think that his dad's provided so much insight, and I think that he's able to carry that through the ups and downs. And it's such a useful resource. Well, Tyler, we're a little ways removed from when we last spoke to you. So just wondering, have you been able to map out things for the next couple of months? Will you be able to maybe travel with the team down the stretch and in the postseason? But what are your plans in that regard? I mean, I plan on being definitely around the team during the playoff run. I mean, I got to go out there and provide some energy for the boys. If I can't be on the field, I'm going to be the best cheerleader there ever could be at that point. But the plan is really just trying to get around the team as much as I possibly can, especially kind of in these later months. I know right now it's an important time in my rehab. So I've really been focusing on that down here, but luckily I get to see the boys here soon in Tampa Bay. So hopefully we can kind of kickstart a winning streak like we did last time whenever I showed up to Tampa. Tyler Wells, let the people know about your involvement with a big league impact in the all-win campaign. Yeah, it's kind of it's been a whirlwind. I got introduced to it through Kyle Gibson, and I was fortunate enough to be able to work with a couple of organizations so that I've been able to work with since I/A whenever I was with the Minnesota Twins organization. And being able to kind of get introduced to new people and new situations that really kind of provide perspective on my own life. I think a lot of people in our shoes tend to lose perspective on kind of just how difficult life can be for some of these people, and especially with kids with cancer. That's kind of been my primary focus over the last few years and working with a big league impact. And I'm really hoping and planning on continuing to try and kind of do more for the community, especially for next year. As I come back, the goal is to continue to really try and increase the outreach for these organizations, but also a big league impact to kind of just hopefully make it more accessible to the city of Baltimore to kind of jump in with the players, and just really kind of show our support for the families that are going through really tough times. But the two organizations I'm working with this year are Versus Cancer and Lighthouse Retreat, same two that I worked with last year. Both incredible organizations help out families and the children that have pediatric cancer. And I'm really just trying to help with bills, or even if it is like a mini vacation for the parents and the child to be able to kind of get away from the everyday, I guess, downers of what their life has brought them. So like I said, I'm blessed. I'm very fortunate to be able to give to them. And I'm hoping again, like I said, for next year is to make it even bigger. Tyler Wells, always great, man.
