Last night in Cleveland Game 1 of a four game series, so hoping to even up the series tonight, 710 first pitch. So that means Baltimore baseball tonight. Yours truly and Mike Bordick takes over at six after we're done here at Inside Access. But joining us now is Ariel Epstein and Ariel. We're talking for the first time since the trade deadline. And let's talk about were there any odds movement for the Oreos after their flurry of moves? Happy Friday guys. Yeah, the odds actually moved in the favor of the Oreos from plus 700 to plus 600, the week before to the week after the trade deadline. Now I was a little shocked by this. I thought that it was okay. It never reminded me a lot of last year that the Oreos got Jack's priority, both towards the back end of the rotation, got a guy that they were questionable about. That's what I feel about Trevor Rogers. Questionable. We saw that the other day. However, then you get Jackson Holiday who looks more comfortable at the plate. Now Kobe Mayo is coming up. I still think it's going to be that young Oreo system that is going to be what's moving the lines. And that's exactly what I think we're seeing. What do you think of what your Yankees did or didn't do? More like what they didn't do. The Yankees also didn't do too much. That was impressive. Now, jazz chism looks really good. There was first week as a Yankee. But come on guys. He saw this with Michael or ends in last year when he went to Philly. He had one great game. I think he threw the no hitter. And then I all went downhill from there and he gets sent to the bullpen. So yeah, the first week you can't really judge things off of. But I know the Yankees got Mark Leiter Jr. The Yankees just like the Oreos are relying on what they've got essentially. They're relying on what got to this point. I'm concerned for both the Yankees and the Oreos bullpen because I don't feel they have a strong enough one to punch to get them through the playoffs into the world series. Agreed. There were a lot of runs scored yesterday. Thanks to the Guardians. Thanks to the Guardians. And you're expecting some runs tonight. Yeah, I'm expecting runs tonight. Now either take the Guardians team total over four and a half runs or you could take the full game over. So I'll start with why I like Cleveland to score tonight. First off, they're averaging just over five runs a game with 14 home runs in their last nine. Jose Ramirez is on its hair hitting 351. Dean Kramer, he owns a six to three ERA and three stars for Cleveland. I mean, excuse me, with Cleveland against Baltimore losing all three of those. The bullpen for the Oreos, it ranks 25th right now since July 1st with a 512 ERA. So that's on the Guardian side why they should have offense tonight. The O should have offense tonight too. I do not trust Cookie Carrasco. He owns a three six ERA in his last three starts. Baltimore hits better on the road, averaging just over five runs a game. They're averaging six runs a game since they all start break. Just a fun fact about Cleveland. They're the most profitable home team for team total over this year, hitting at 61%. So that's why I see Cleveland scoring at home where they score a lot more, but also the Orioles back on the road have done better. So there should be runs in this game. I got to admit, Ariel, I watch a lot of baseball and I follow a lot of prospect list. I I'm very familiar with the Philly system. I see all those kids play in leagues against Oreos affiliates. Tyler Phillips was not a guy who I thought would maybe be their next great starting pitcher to come up. But lo and behold, he's made three starts and in his last one, he goes nine and doesn't give anything up. Phillies as a team are scuffling a little bit now. This young man has been impressive. What are you playing for the Phillies tonight? I like Phillips over four and a half strike out. We haven't seen too much of him. However, in two of the three starts this year where you face teams that strike out a lot, he's had at least five. It's five against Oakland seven against Atlanta. He's thrown Phillips 15 consecutive scoreless innings and the Mariners, they're one of the most strike out runs in baseball. They're averaging just over seven strike out, excuse me, just over six strikeouts a game when facing righties and Phillips, he's a rightie. He's getting swinging missed. I would take a chance here on the over four and a half days. The A's are hosting the Dodgers at nine forty tonight. Those A's have been very, very passionate. Yeah, man. They've been very, very pesky and the Dodgers, they've been struggling a little bit of late, but Gavin Stone is on the bump for LA. Do you like a prop of his? It's my best bet of the night guys. Over four and a half strike outs for Stone tonight, pitching for the Dodgers. You're getting a really good buy low number. Stone has not exceeded more than three strikeouts in any of his starts in July. When you look at who he faced, it's all low K-rate teams now, so I'm getting the athletics who are one of the most strike out pro lineup. They're averaging six strikeouts a game against righties starters, and Stone's actually pitched much better in interleague this year. He's three and one, two, five, oh, we are eight through six starts against the American League. Stone's averaging six strikeouts a game against high carry teams. With this number at four and a half, I looked at all five of the magic that he's had against these more strike out pro lineup, and he's had at least five in all five of those starts. He should be able to stay in their long enough against the athletic who gets thrown over four and a half case. She's Ariel Epstein joins us every single Friday in Ariel when you're not on with us.
