And Brett, we were just talking about the moves that the Yankees may have the deadline moves they didn't make. They didn't bring in a starting pitcher. It's a virtual tie right now. It's the identical records between the O's and Yankees did one of the trade deadlines put one of those teams over the top in your eyes. For me, you know, and I think I think the trading deadline as a whole lot of people change uniforms, but you didn't have any of those big names, you know, the scoogles and the and the crochets weren't moved and past years were used to a Verlander or a Scherzer at the trade deadline moved back in my day. You know, it was the Ricky Henderson that was the rent a player every year, but we didn't have one of those this year. I think some teams are better the next day. I look at the Orioles, I look at the Yankees and Chisholm comes over and obviously he's got that big personality. We're talking Yankees now is a good player. Is it a difference maker for me? No, but in his first two games, he gets four home runs. So go figure. So right now the Yankees are winning on paper at the trade deadline. I looked at Baltimore's. I don't know. I kind of scratched my head a little bit. This team is really good offensively. The youth is really on their side. They play. It seems like they got a really good camaraderie in that clubhouse. Burns at the top of the rotation. Obviously it's excellent. They got a solid bullpen in postseason. I'm a little worried, you know, the Kimball effect in the postseason. It's not bought teased out there who was who was elite. You'll you'll get him back next year. But I looked at your moves and it was kind of OK. You got Eflin, you know, decent pitcher Rogers. He's all right. He meant as from the White Sox. OK, so does this. They're OK, but nothing to me said. Oh, that's going to help them. You know, I look at a team like the Mariners that didn't make any big time moves, but they got in a Rose Arena. They got a Garcia in the bullpen, which they desperately needed. He's a real difference maker in high leverage situations. So I look at teams like that and I think they improve themselves. But I look at Baltimore and look at New York. Yeah, we'll see. We'll see in the next month, month and a half. But that being said, both of these teams are two of the best teams in baseball. So I think the most important thing for the Orioles, the most important thing for the Yankees is the guys they had going in and the guys that have gotten to this point in the season, you know, atop the leaderboard as far as overall record and all of baseball. If the guys they have need to stay healthy and play like they can play. Brett, maybe this is just recency bias on my part because the Padres recently came to Camden Yards and I obviously obsessed over that series being here in Baltimore and now the Orioles were playing the Guardian so they also played a few weeks back. But I really feel like those two teams are very similar for me, man. They've got six to seven bats that will fight for their at bats that will put the ball and play that aren't necessarily worried about hitting the home run. But real high on base left side and right side. I have questions about the starting pitching, but damn, they could shut the game down in the fourth inning with their bullpen if they really have to. They're that good and that deep, right? And they're super athletic. They can they can they can make things happen on the base pass and force your defense to react. Like I see a lot of similarities there and I think they're both really dangerous. They're really I'd say what the Guardians have just kind of, you know, with the with the coverage. You're always going to go to the Yankees. Obviously Baltimore in the last two years has really come on. So they're always going to be a story that Dodgers are always going to be a story. Houston Astros until this year have always been a story. But that guardian team has been flying under the radar and oh, hum. They're just they're just have the best record in baseball. I thought at the beginning of the season when, you know, Bieber's healthy and all of a sudden. He has to get Tommy John Mackenzie gets sent to Triple A. If you'd have told me before this season, Mackenzie goes to Triple A. Bieber isn't available. There's no way right that they're sitting there at top of the division. They're really good. I'm starting to watch them a little bit. You're right. It's that lineup and it's the way they grind out at bats. That pitching staff is really good. The bullpen is really good with with Klase at the end. He's kind of a Batista at the Baltimore Orioles. It's you get late into the games in high leverage situation. The game's over when it comes to Cleveland. Padres really interesting. I've always thought I live in San Diego. So I kind of have a special eye on them. I've been waiting for the last three years. One of these guys is going to put it together. They're big guy, Musgrove, who's been the anchor of that rotation. He's been down. He's been battling injuries all year. Hasn't been the same. And then you Darvish is kind of the big question mark. He just went missing and he's been gone now for six weeks, seven weeks. And I thought to Padres really more than anybody need to address that starting rotation. They went the opposite way. And they went with Jason Adam and Tanner Scott, probably the biggest bullpen target on the market. The Padres landed him. And I'll tell you what, they went from a really pretty good bullpen to maybe the best bullpen in baseball, kind of like a 2014 Kansas City, where as already it's a 15, I forget that we ended up one in the World Series. Oh, yeah, we're familiar. It's been a four one run games in ALDS. Yeah. Yeah, I think they went out and they thought we're going to just we're going to bolster our bullpen. We're going to have that power bullpen that in 2024, it plays a lot more than in past years. So really interesting deal with the Padres and that lineup, you know, as much as they do have a lot of star power. Tati says out, he'll be back, hopefully shortly, but you still got a Mochado. You got a Bogarts that really, since you signed the contract, hasn't been the same Bogarts, but he's still a potentially real difference maker. You got Chrono worth, who's become a really good player. Kim is kind of the swing guy does it all, has been stealing bases. They're a really good team. Villain sees who was in addition this year. They got the king kid that was in the bullpen for the New York Yankees. He's a starter. He's finally falling into that role and starting to feel comfortable. Waldron, the Knuckleball pitchers, done a really good job for him. So yeah, I would like to see them make a make another move for a starter, but they bolster that bullpen. They're playing really good of late. So that's going to be interesting too. Two for me at the trade deadline was the Mariners, the Dodgers, the Padres. And I think the Phillies got better at the deadline. Everybody else was kind of a wash for me. Brett, unfortunately, we're coming up on a break, but glad we were able to talk for a few minutes.
