Runners go and price it's a high drive deep left field. Cowsers back, he's on a roof. It's out of here. David Fry with a two out three run homer makes it five one guardians with two outs. You got to love it. Yeah, I think there's a lot of eclam, you know, he's acclimating to the club. I'm sure he was really excited to get out there. And we put a run up there in the first and then we gave it back there in the bottom of the first and it was good. You know, the two, the two, the walk to Rocchio, you know, walk the number nine hitter to get back to the top of the order where they're, they can do a lot of damage there. That didn't help. That was manager Brandon Hyde following a 10 to three loss to the guardians in the series opener, game one of a four game series. Orioles made several roster moves yesterday getting in a lot of their trade acquisitions. But of course, all eyes were on Trevor Rogers. And as you heard Brandon Hyde, they got him, you know, a lead before he even took the mound. And then three of the first four batters that Rogers faced ended up reaching and he gave the lead right back. And it was a very, very ugly, oral debut for Trevor Rogers. I mean, it was object failures. What it was like, we don't, we don't put lipsticks on pigs around here. You got this guy for 10 starts before the playoffs. That's 10% of his inventory. That was somebody thrown up on their shoes. I don't put it on him. It's on them. Like, if you're always seeking value, if you're always playing the long game, if you're guiding principle is, let's get somebody who we think we can make better, who's really cheap and controllable for the long haul. And that'll make us look awesome to our owners. And we can prove how smart we are. You know, there's a time and place for that. I would say the trade deadline is not that. Like, if you want to treat the trade deadline, not as a trip to the Porsche dealership, but as an afternoon at the flea market, you know, where you're trying to peddle this for that. Like, it just blows my mind, honestly, bone. The guy is not a quality pitcher. He hasn't been a quality pitcher in forever. And as much as you can tell me about ERA and these things, if you watched him pitch, and if you dug down on the numbers outside of that ballpark that he used to pitch him when the ball didn't carry, he was horrible. And the hard hit rates are troubling. And he didn't have a single pitch in his arsenal that wasn't getting pounded. That wasn't getting slugged for 15 or above. Like, there's so many different ways you can approach things. And to trade two prospects that you held on too long for this, and maybe it gets better. Maybe it doesn't. But he, like, that was an energy vampire. I'm, I don't know, I'm 50 years old. I've seen a lot of penicaces. I thought you're giving teams an adrenaline boost, a shot in the arm. You're bringing known commodities that everybody in the clubhouse looks at each other and says, we just got better. That person's going to help us. This was it. I doubt he's even going to be a significant innings eater, let alone someone who's helping you win ballgames. And you threw a project out there, you're trying to fix. And then you backed them up with a project who you're trying to fix. And you turn what could have been a winnable game against a good team to establish some momentum into another slop fest. They did come out with a good approach offensively, and they had lively on the ropes. But the energy was sucked out of this game when every pitch had a Trevor Rogers hand was getting slacked somewhere 105 off the bat. Like, everybody saw it for what it is. You got a lot of guys out of their depth defensively right now. And you got a guy who's giving up nothing, but liner liner 110 mile an hour ground ball 108 mile an hour line drive. That stuff was cute in 2019 and 2020. It doesn't play now. You're supposed to be getting known commodities that give your team an adrenaline boost, not people who sucked the life out of a clubhouse, sucked the life out of a dugout. And you have another listless performance. So I mean, look, there's 16 and 20 since they left the Bronx. 12 of those losses are by four runs or more. That's one of every non three is utterly non competitive. And now your bullpen is a little more compromised for the rest of this series. You're five and eight against winning teams since you left the Bronx. And bone, if we wanted to play around with a lefty, you could have traded nothing for James Paxton and just seen what that was. You could have traded nothing for Martin Perez, at least a guy who has was has more of a track record than this kid. You could sign Rich Hill and sell me that. But when you hold on to these two kids forever, and then you pawn them away for a hope and a prayer, and you're selling me on how controllable he is, get the F out of here, sell me on how controllable Derek scuba is when you buy quality, when you go to the Porsche dealership and you get yourself something under the hood that can run for three years here. Yeah, sell me on that. You don't sell controllability with a guy who'd already given up eight home runs and 50 innings pitched on the road who had a hard hit rate that was abject failure, who doesn't have an out pitch and who tops out at 94 and sits 92, stop it. You looked at the numbers, the role numbers, you looked at the analytics. And when this move was made, it was definitely puzzling because there wasn't really anything. Okay, was this guy? Is he running into bad luck? Is he running in this? I mean, the one positive on his baseball Cevon page coming in was his ground ball rate, where he was in the top 30th percentile. But other than that, I mean, it was all near the bottom. And he was pitching better prior to that start, eight of the nine, but this was his start, second worst start of the season, he gave up eight earned runs to the A's back in May and gave up five earned runs last night. And the biggest issue, Jason, a lot of it was done, and really it was game long for the Orioles, was done with guardians batters at two strikes and because he doesn't have an out pitch. There were 21 foul balls off of Trevor Rodgers yesterday. When he used to throw 96, 97, the change up was the out pitch. But when you're throwing 92 and your change up is 84. And you can't command it like you used to. And it was it was batting practice. It was 12 of the 16 batted balls off Trevor Rodgers were hit harder than 95 miles per hour. 12 of the 16. Again, you could have just kept running Cade Povich out there for this. They traded in the cop is Colerven. Literally, I said it the moment they made the trade. We're sitting at pickles. I'm like, wow, they just traded in old Colerven for new Colerven, except they gave up a whole lot more for new Colerven. And they did it in the middle of a pennant race, not in the off season when you got a lot of time to work with a guy. Yeah, that that's where I will see it's one star. Maybe they are able to fix him, but you're fixing him in the middle of a pennant race, which is that that's the issue. Attempting to. Yeah. And again, what were most teams at trying to do with the deadline? They were overpaying for best to breed. Like this was the sixth best left handed arm on the Marlins period. You know what I would have respected more? Go trade Norby and Stowers and a couple other real things and go get Lozardo and just say, Hey, we got him for the future and we're going to ride this Povich thing out now. But like these guys weren't going to be on our 40 man. They weren't going to be most of them weren't going to be able to us by spring training. We're going to train him by the league meetings anyway. And rather than just get some reclamation project, we still could have gone and gotten in the off season and try to figure that out on the fly. We are truly playing the long game. I would have respected that more. Go get weathers. Go get the lefty they had who actually has stuff and wait for him to come back off the IL in two weeks. I'd respect that more than this. I don't even know that they think Rogers is very good. I think they know that they needed to get Stowers out of here and Norby out of here because four years at triple A is Jack Essery even for them. So that's why I think they got traded. And if this kid's something next year, Rogers, he's something next year, I would fade that proposition and clear in spots on the 40 man with the rule five draft upcoming this off season. Well, we're going to try to make it a feel good Friday and Brett Boone. He's going to be joining us at three aerial Epstein. Give us her best bets for the weekend and Mark Fine sand. What does he think of the Orioles trade deadline? Raven's also wrapping up another week of practice. They are now exactly a week. Right. Eagles next Friday. Yeah. So exactly a week from their preseason debut. We will get you all the sights and sounds from Omen's Mills. We'll try to decipher what was going on on a kickoff last night in the Hall of Fame game. It was a thing bone. It was certainly definitely a thing. It was certainly a thing. And we will also look at the organization, the Orioles organization that is holistically now that they've made these trades, who does it benefit the most? Where are they maybe a little bit more vulnerable? Where are their strengths still in terms of of their organizational depth chart? Some interesting takeaways. I'll admit, I was pretty surprised when rock tobacco covers the owes from mass and broke the news last night that Kobe Mayo was going to head to Cleveland. Haven't had the official official activation yet. We'll keep you up to date, but it's firmly expected to happen. Now that he is here, what are we expecting? I mean, he's a young guy, 22 years old. We've seen a lot of Orioles prospect struggle initially. This is a very young infield right now. Any concern there, we're going to get into it next on Inside Access. I know that's a big piece when push comes to shove in the playoffs in these big situations. Two out base hits with runners of scoring positions huge, but also has a lot to do with guys getting on base in front of me. Guys doing a great job in front of me getting on base and stealing bases and taking every 90 feet they can get. So if I come up, I can drive them in and I think guys have done a really good job and that's something I've tried to focus on a lot. These two out RBIs and one out, man on third trying to drive them in, not striking out, doing what I can to take care of that runner at third. That was Kobe Mayo, who joined us. This was in the stretch run last year. Remember Norfolk, they were the champions of the land, Jason, one of the greatest minor league teams ever assembled and the championship in Vegas. Yeah. And Kobe Mayo really having a hell of an encore in Norfolk, OPS of over a thousand on the season. He's also hitting lefty 794 OPS against lefty's very, very respectable had a four hit game last night and we haven't gotten the official announcement from the Orioles, but all signs point towards Kobe Mayo making his debut tonight in Cleveland. And what are you expecting out of the 22 year old? Well, look, I'm incredibly excited for this young man. He's another kid with what did he have? A thousand plate appearances at AAA. Another one has to be damn close to it. There was nothing else to show there from a hit tool perspective. He'd cut down on his chase rate. He does damage with guys on base. He hits lefties and righties. People used to worry about his legs. If you haven't seen him play before, he has a very extreme stance. His legs are pretty far spread apart, almost to the point where you would wonder at first glance, boy, is that cutting into his ability to get his hips through the ball and drive for power? Trust me, there are no issues. He can hit elevated fastballs. He's improved his work against breaking pitches and off speed pitches over the years. And again, he's conquered AAA. He conquered AAA from the moment he got to AAA as a hitter. I am interested to see how they use him. And then obviously the glove. And look, he for six, five, it's not like he's cumbersome. It's not like he's a basketball center whose feet haven't grown into his body yet. It's not that the footwork is good. The athleticism is great. He's got a powerful, powerful arm. It's harnessing that arm. It's controlling that arm. It's it's when to uncork it at 90 and when to hold back. It's the accuracy of the throwing. It's coming in and throwing across his body. Like that's really what it is. He had he's a quick twitch kid. Like it's not that he can't defend himself at third base or anything like that with the glove. It really is very much a throwing thing. But bone, look, we've watched Ramon boot ball after ball after ball this year. Oh, lay last night. That thing was that thing was crushed. It was a scorcher. Yeah. I mean, that ball was crushed. But so if that's where we're at, right, and Westies out for two months, at least, then you have to start looking at this. I'll be fascinated to see how willing they are to let him DH. I personally, I don't think the kids going to be offended. And and look, we're also at a point in time now where, Oh, well, these kids need to play every night. No, these kids need to help you win games right now. The game's matter right now, especially if you're going to throw free show pitching out there. Maybe this guy's going to be good. Or maybe maybe he's a little reliever. Maybe he's not then you better at least do everything else you can on the margins to have the best that batch you can have to try to score runs with some more regularity. So I like, I mean, who cares? Utilize him to win games, put him in matchups where he can succeed, give him a bit of a runway here again, even if it means he's not at third all the time. And then what is the trickle down here? For me, it would be Eloy Jimenez. I wouldn't even think about it. Like that is exactly what it is. You need to clear DH scrapnell out of the way. Like, he gives you nothing off the bench. He gives you nothing with his glove. He gives you nothing with athleticism. Like, I just think it was stupid from the onset, right? So like that for me would be the move. But that's what I'm saying. Like if not him who, because we've been talking about Ramon for a while, but now given the Westburg injury, you kind of need Ramon in his versatility where Eloy, you have zero versatility there. I mean, Michael Iis came out and said that, you know, he's a DH. I mean, that's how they kind of view him at this point. So I don't know who it would be if it was you could you could. I mean, if you, I guess it, I mean, could it be Slater because you think between Ramon between Cedric and Calzer, you always have somebody who could play centerfield, even if they're both in the same game, if somebody goes down, you know what I mean? The other move so you could get Slater out of there. I mean, I think they need Soto because Ramon cannot play shortstop and putting Ramon at shortstop while Kobe Mayo is at third, I think would be utterly preposterous, even for some of the stuff that these guys voiced upon us lately. But like, they could sell themselves on that in which case Soto goes back down. But the Eloy thing is too cute by half. This is what spring training is for. This is not what the pennant race is for. And something to keep in mind because we've seen varying degrees of success for top Orioles prospects out of the gate. And I pulled this morning on baseball reference, first 30 games. Not all these are starts for these guys. And remember, Gunner, he really struggled in April the following year. Yes. He started hot. Yes. His first 30 games, he had an 814 OPS. Then it was dreadful April the following year. Adley, we know the struggles that he had out of the gate. He was still able to get on base, which helped the OPS 730. But strikeouts were way up. Colton Cowser, we know what type of struggles he went through for 33 OPS through his first 30 games. Really the guy that has been the most consistent since his call up and hasn't really had the crazy drought, like an Adley, like a Gunner or a Cowser is Westbrook, where his first 30 games 791 OPS, Kobe Mayo, just 22 years old. So the power is there. The upside is there. That being said, we know the jump from AAA to MLB is immense. So, you know, you got to keep that in mind when we're watching him. And it's also all happening at the same time in which, you know, it's very likely tonight, you know, their infield defense will be, you know, what is mounting, a 27 year old to first base. And that doesn't matter. But a 20 year old second baseman, a 23 year old shortstop and a 22 year old third baseman, like that, that very well could be what, what we're looking at, which a lot of us have been waiting for. But they didn't do this staccato, right? They waited for people to get hurt. They waited for their hand to be forced. And it turns out it's been forced in multiple ways, all pretty much at the same time. And so now these kids are here, we're gonna get back into the O's and MLB at the top of the hour, Brett Boone, Odyssey, MLB insider will be joining us. But coming up next, we talked a lot yesterday about the tendencies that Michael Eis and that this Orioles organization have. What about the Ravens? What are their types? What are their tendencies that we've seen under Eric to constant, quite frankly, predate him. We'll get into it next on Inside Access. Just a week away until football. That doesn't really count. Time to start a streak. Did they win or lose their last one last? Now that the streak's over, like, it's becoming significant again. It's funny. I think they lost. No, I think they lost. I think they lost to start a new streak. Yeah, they could. The drive for 25. It's back on. It is next Friday. More immortals will be chiseled from iron. What sharpens iron? Iron does sharpen iron. I've heard that a time or two. But Orioles, Michael Eis, we talked yesterday how they really lean into drafting college bats and they use them in trades to acquire their pitching. Don't invest in college or high school arms. Yes. They have their tendencies for the Ravens. Don't don't don't do anything other than value plays at the deadline for the Ravens. Eric to cost it and come on is the most impactful bat they've ever brought in from outside the organization. What are some of the Ravens tenants? Well, you know, you do start to think like, okay, do, you know, people do have certain types. Old Colerven, new Colerven. And so I was kind of like, well, what are some of these hallmarks for the Ravens? What are some things that they seemingly, if you judge them by their deeds, you know, and don't don't really worry about what press conferences are this or that. What do they seem to believe in? They certainly seem to believe, and I would think this is even more true now than ever with the prices of wide receivers going crazy and with Rashad Bateman signing a deal that basically means they can move on to it from him for nothing. Like, there's value in taking past catchers in the first round in a sport that's becoming increasingly past happy even if these guys have bucked that trend with their run rates to some degree. They're always drafting offensive lineman in the middle rounds. And I think that's something that is a core belief for them. They have generally shown the idea of having a proven veteran backup quarterback, right? Like like Randall Cunningham would be an exception, like Bulger would be an exception. That's that's. But the rule, right? The rule has been more like somebody young with some upside or somebody who's old and really, really cheap, but has been in the system for a long time. That seems to be a core belief for them. I think they have had a tendency to not believe what their eyes have told them about some of their sort of more beloved or coveted players, you know, guys who they invested in, who they kind of thought would be maybe better than than they were or who they thought their primes would be longer than they were, or they kind of, you know, oh, yeah, I understand that medical report saying that about Nick Boyle, about TAVON. I know even to this about Irani Stanley, right? They've they've tended to cling to some of those guys, like when age or injury or otherwise, you'd be told no, like Kalei's Campbell stuck around here a long time, right? A lot of different contract machinations with him, quitting those guys, I think becomes tough for them. And they don't, by and large, sign free agents who they expect to be around here for more than a couple of years. I mean, they just there's very, very rare is the contract that the guy is at a point in his career where he could be here for multiple years, or that it's structured in a way that he might actually see through the entirety. Like you and I were kicking this around before and you said Marcus, I'm like, okay, but like, give me, give me a couple other ones. But you know what I mean? It's usually rentals. It's more of a rental than an ownership deal. Yeah. And I think that very much predates to cost as well, because this team really never goes out and wheels and deals during free agency. They're a lot about sometimes to a detriment. Like you said, with a Taevan young, you know, Lord areas web, Dennis, we're retaining their own, you know, draft develop, retaining their own. And I think another thing about this organization we've seen is a they zig were other zag. Yeah. And Lamar Jackson is a big, big way with that. They completely redid their entire offense, built their team around Lamar Jackson, where you got some dummies out there saying, oh, this guy play receiver is is play is it sustainable. And I think another thing that predates Eric to cost and he's very much taken to it is ever since that 2014 divisional round loss to the Patriots, where they were just trotting out the guys in the stands at corner. Rashan Melvin getting abused in that game where Aussie kept saying you can never have enough corners. You can never have they invest in the secondary, like no other team in terms of draft capital in terms of cash. Well, they certainly want to pay quality and quantity on the back end, which kind of dovetails what I was saying about not wanting to pay outside the building. And then they're not they're not going to pay for pass rush. Well, they haven't they haven't given serious money to an edge rusher since sucks. Yeah. And he's been gone for quite a few. Yeah, I mean, it's they haven't developed the guys inside, frankly, to the point where you would even have to make the decision like Judon was the last one, right. And they franchised for a year. And then they let him go because they thought they had doubled down sort of and drafting his replacement between Bowers. And then, you know, we're going to get away. But they don't yeah, they would much rather pay for the back end and develop and scheme up and cultivate pass rush. Then they will pay an outside specifically an outside pass rusher. Yeah. And I'm very interested in seeing how they're going to go about this year, especially Zach or his first year defensive coordinator where no one envisioned them leading the league and sacks last year to go along with their elite secondary. I mean, it was a historic defense leading the league and in point sacks, takeaways had never been done in the history of football, where we all expect a step back. It's inevitable at this point. I mean, the pass rush, you're losing the nine and a half sacks from clowny, queen, three and a half. How are they going to make up for that? Now, when you were out, Jason, Ken and I, we were going over just where are they better? And Jeff's reback put out a piece on the athletic and he was talking about the quarterback position, which initially I was like, huh, it's kind of interesting because Darby was such an impactful player. But I, you know, as a depth, and you know, I do think this secondary is deeper than it was last year. And sure, are you banking on a Marlin staying health? Sure. And Wiggins being able to hit the ground running. But you know, bringing in Eddie Jackson, I think you feel really good about your safeties right now. And corners, you, you, Stevens is back. You invested a first round pick in, in Wiggins, Mullet is back. So you definitely can make the argument despite how great the secondary was last year on paper, it's better, deep, no doubt. And if Trenton Simpson, a guy we've talked a lot about if, if this isn't full's gold and, and, and if he looks like he is going to be an in fact impactful player for them. And we know he has the athleticism to cover. Because I consider a linebacker, for me, like linebacker is part of the secondary, like, even, even more reason to think like, and again, he doesn't have to be Patrick Queen, but can he, can he hold up and coverage a little bit? Can they deploy him in some different ways? Yeah, it, it, that is absolutely positively a core belief for them. Like in any given year, if they take a corner or a wide receiver in the first round, regardless of what the roster looks like, I don't think any of us can flinch anymore. Or maybe even maybe just say a DB. Yeah, I mean, because Hamilton Wiggins, sure. Yeah, like I just think that is, and that's the equivalent of Michael I is taking a power five college bat. Yeah. And to go deeper in the cash, we fully expect Kyle Hamilton to really ring up a strong contract a year from now. Coming up next, we're going to get a stay with the Ravens here from Andrew Voorhees. He's definitely going to get some run in the preseason because he didn't have any action last year. And also John Harbaugh, breaking news here, he's got, it has a special team's background. What does he think of the new kickoff rules? We'll get into it next on Inside Access. You know, anytime you have an opportunity to go out there and play football and they're keeping score, it's important. It doesn't matter if you're on the mighty mites or any level football. They're keeping score matters at the end of the day. So anytime you have the opportunity to go out there and compete and show who you are as a football player, it's important. So I'm just looking forward to the opportunity to get back out there and go compete against somebody who's not a teammate. And I could rightfully say so about the rest of the offensive line room. That was Andrew Voorhees, who met with the media yesterday following practice. And typically, especially over the past couple of years in Baltimore, you don't see many starters play in the preseason, but there's going to have to be in terms of the offensive line when you got three spots up for grabs. Linder bombs not going to play. Ronnie Stanley's not going to play, but I envision the rest of those guys playing. And that includes Andrew Voorhees, who hasn't been on a football field in 18 months. Look, it's very easy to discard the import of this exercise. We all do it. I do it, you know, exhibition, not real, kind of fake. And look, there is a kernel of truth to that because the Jews ain't worked the squeeze for a growing number of coaches in terms of exposing their best players or their surefire players, guys we know are starters to the rigors of these games. However, it's increasingly important to certain sub-sex of players. And this young man would be among those who it's most paramount for, right? Like you factor in how young he is, how long it's been since he played a game period. And it's not like he's one of these bubble guys like fighting to make a team. He's fighting for a starting spot on a team that should have gone to the Super Bowl last year. And the other guard spot is up for grabs as well. And I guess right tackle. I mean, I really think they're going to like second round pick, really have to struggle not to get it, but regardless at a time. So when there's that much uncertainty with that position group, and you've missed all the time you've missed, and you're coming off a red shirt year, and the team isn't just playing for the future. They're playing for right bleeping now. I mean, it's vitally important for for ease. Something that is going to intrigue every Ravens fan. Heck, every football fan is the new kickoff, which was on display yesterday during the Hall of Fame game. And this is John Harbaugh. This is John Harbaugh, of course, prior to seeing it in action. We had a kickoff kickoff return practice today, which you guys saw had the NFL officials here. We'll look at it tonight with those tonight with our coaches. And tomorrow morning, we'll look at it with the officials in there with our players and see what they see. So, it's going to be very interesting. It is going to be very interesting. And it was very interesting last night. And I'm not even going to act like I know all of the ins and outs of the rules. But basically, you're seeing both kickoff teams lined up a heck of a lot closer than they've ever been to reduce the collision. And then you got the minutia of the landing zone, which is inside the 20 yard line and kickoffs that hit the landing zone go into the end zone must be returned or down by the receiving team. If down, then the receiving team gets the ball at the 20s. Kickoffs that go into the end zone and stay in bounds that are down will give the receiving team the ball at their own 35 yard line. Kickoff short of the landing zone will be treated like a kickoff out of bounds. And the receiving team will get the ball at its own 40. Yeah. So I envision this. There's going to be a few teams early on in the season where we're all learning this. John Harbon is staff for learning this that are going to have an edge early. Like they'll have some quirk. They'll have some wrinkle to it. But you know, Jason, this is a copycat league and teams are going to adjust and then adjust to the adjustments. But it's a little wonky. Nobody was into this kind of nuance, like, like deep dive wonkiness, especially when it comes to special teams that Bill Belichick, even more so than Harv's is into this. It's Bill Belichick. And we've come to find out that Bill Belichick and exactly lending a helping hand to Gerard Mayo and what's left of his staff in New England. And we're all enough to remember when Harbaugh, right, created his clearing house for coaches, right? The, the, I can't remember what the project's got. Right. The coaching academy where, and Belichick was there. Like, I guarantee you, Belichick studied this in the UFL or XFL or whatever it was, even though he's not coaching this year, he prepared like he might be. I guarantee you, he probably has something he's found where he thinks he can gain the system or beat the system. And I'm imagining that was a big topic of conversation for him and Harv's when they were hobnobbing with each other before they got up on that day us together. Like, again, it's new for all of us. Ultimate football guy, Bobby DePaul on Twitter last night in real time was like, you know, hey, I got to study this more, but my initial reaction is whoever feels the ball kind of starts running one way and then throws it to that second back guy, the other way, almost like a lateral. And you make people react that way. I mean, it takes a certain special coach to come out of the hopper with that. You know what I mean? Like week one, we've got a wrinkle here. We think we're going to use got to be a coach who's comfortable in his own skin. You know what I mean? Who, who feels like he's got a pretty good team, whereas if we screw this up, we can still win this game. But yeah, look, we're talking about it. So that's already a win for the league. Whether it becomes a nothing burger or not, I have no way to predict. I don't I have. I don't know. Yeah, I'm really fascinated to see if this sticks, because right now the rule is it's only for 2024. This is similar to remember when you could challenge pass interference is and that was a disaster and they got rid of it the following year. Maybe that could happen. Maybe it couldn't. Maybe it ends up sticking. So stay tuned for that and stay tuned to us because Brett Boone Odyssey MLB insider is going to be joining us on the other side.
