Joris Bondurant Powell, 90, formerly of Eden, died August 10. Funeral services are Wednesday at 2 at Fairview Baptist Church, where she was a long-time member, with visitation tomorrow evening 5-7. She will be laid to rest alongside her parents at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. She was born in Rockingham County and retired from Philcrest Mills, surviving our daughters Cindy Bailey and Paul of Graham, Tammy Madani and Amir of Clayton, seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Leon Leakey Watson Moore, 77 of Madison, died August 9. Public viewing is Friday, 2-7.30 in Madison. The family will receive friends Saturday at 1.30 at Rock Hill Baptist Church in Walnut Cove, with a celebration of life at 2, internment in the church cemetery. Hilda Rae Money, 69 of Stokesdale, died August 9. Funeral services are tomorrow at 2 at Boone & Cook Funeral Home, with internment in Comer's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, Madison. Visitation at 1. She was born in Madison and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and retired from Gilbarco after 33 years, surviving our husband Robert Wayne Snow of the home, son Daniel Wayne Lee and wife Jennifer Watson of Drive Fork, siblings Ruby Rae of Greensboro, Virginia Rae of Madison, Larry Bram of Made In, and Barry Bram of Eden, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild, also pets Bella and Charlie.
