(upbeat music) - Welcome to TMZ Live, Harvey Levin here. - Charles here. - I'm really excited about what we're gonna talk about. I am fascinated by Aaron Rodgers, his life, his views, and I know a lot of them are controversial, but what I love about him is that he speaks his mind, he's not afraid to, and there's so many people that are just afraid of their own shadow. So there is a book coming out that really digs deep, deep, deep into who Aaron Rodgers is. - Out of the darkness, the mystery of Aaron Rodgers, and it is a mystery. I mean, if you've been puzzled by some of the choices he's made, some of the phrases he's chosen to throw out there when dealing with the media, there are even more things mysterious about him, and one of the biggest things that is addressed in this book is his relationship with his parents, which they are estranged and for-- - For a long time, for nine years. - For a very long time. - And the parents, and we're gonna get into this with this incredible writer who wrote this book, that the parents are blaming his ex-girlfriend, Olivia Munn. - Yes, which is really interesting. Now, Ian O'Connor spoke to a lot of people for this book. - Over a hundred people. - Yeah, and including spoke to Aaron as well. - He's just a great sports journalist, written many, many books. We're so excited to have him. - Yes, and he spoke to Aaron's parents. So maybe we're gonna get to the bottom of this, that part of it at least. Ian O'Connor, welcome to TMZ Live. - This gentleman, thanks for having me. - So, let's start with the estrangement, because this has kind of been a through line for us. We've been talking about it for so long, and it's been such a mystery. I'm not sure the mystery is unraveled necessarily, because there are two sides to this. But tell us what you found out. - I think at the start, the religion was a bigger part of it than certainly it is now. He was raised in a devoutly Christian home. He ultimately rebelled against that. He's no longer religious, he's now spiritual. But I think that plants the seed for other rebellions. By the time he ends up dating Olivia Munn has started in 2014, I think that into that relationship, he already had feelings about the family, maybe not fully appreciating his generosity, perhaps the family unit revolving a little bit too much around his fame, fortune and success. And I got to know Ed and Darla Rogers, his parents, and I certainly don't wanna cast any inspirations on that. They don't believe that's true. They have a different viewpoint on that, very different. And so they dispute that. They do lay a lot of the blame at the feet of Olivia Munn. I'm not saying they put all the blame on her and they shouldn't because he hasn't dated her in seven years and the estrangement still lives on. I do think Olivia notarized his feelings and that was her role in it. But Aaron already had some of those feelings entering that relationship. - And you gotta, there's a story you tell in the book here that I read this and it's like, I don't understand how this happened. - Aaron's parents go to a football game in 2014, December. And then Olivia tells them the next week, don't come to any more games. - They had lost that game. - Right, they had lost the game that they came to. And then she tells them you're not, essentially you're not welcome at any more of the games. How in the world, that just doesn't seem possible that a girlfriend, regardless of how long, but in this case, not very long, calling her boyfriend's parents and saying, you can't come to games. That just doesn't add up. - That does it. And the parents said that they had a pleasant, what they thought was a pleasant meeting at Aaron's home the previous week, that he went out that game at Buffalo and had his worst passer rating game of his career. Aaron said that had nothing to do with ultimately the beginning of the estrangement. But that night was when the phone call was made from Olivia Munn to his parents and she was angry. And so I asked them, did you say something? Was there some sort of disparaging remark made that might have made her feel this way? And they swore there was nothing. And Olivia did not speak to me for this book. I made multiple attempts and I was told she was not interested. So she would probably have to answer that question. And it did start an estrangement that nobody ever thought would last almost a decade. It seems absurd that it's come to this. But it's not just the parents obviously hasn't spoken with his brothers in a long time as well, Luke and Jordan. And they all have their different versions of the truth of different slights that each was responsible for. And Aaron didn't go to this family function, to this funeral, he didn't go to a wedding that we attended and that's the reason he didn't go because we were there and he was in the wedding party and he told the groom at the last second that he wasn't going. And it's just a lot of that, a lot of he said he said and death by a thousand cuts that's the state of the relationship or how it ended up this way. And it's now a living thing and Aaron can't figure out how to end it. And so it's five, six, seven years overdue and hopefully it'll happen soon. - So Aaron Rogers is a complicated individual. And there are so many things. I know you get into COVID, you get into his spirituality. The fact that the guy that Robert Kennedy Jr. wanted to pick him as his vice presidential running mate, what's your takeaway? I'm so interested because you've dived into this thing. And there are so many people that just dismiss him as being out there and crazy. I don't think that. But I'm just wondering if you have an overarching kind of view of this guy that you're writing about. - I'm certainly not one of those people. I never would have done this book if I had dismissed him. I took him very, very seriously and had no agenda entering this project at all. But I think he's a contrarian without question. He's a rebel with a cause and sometimes without a cause. He asked the why about everything. And what's interesting is that he was considered one of the good guys in the NFL. He supported Colin Kaepernick's position. And all of a sudden his life dramatically changed with COVID. And those four words, yeah, I've been immunized when he wasn't vaccinated. And that changed his entire public life. And to shame that he didn't just tell the truth that day. And I told him that his truth was that he was allergic to an ingredient in Moderna and Pfizer and concerned about Johnson and Johnson side effects. Why did he just say that? Because as a vaccinated person, if I was sitting there and I also said this to him as a columnist, I don't think I would have ripped you if you told the truth because I think that's a reasonable position. But he made that mistake. And I don't think from a PR standpoint, he's ever recovered from it. - You know what, I hear you, but I remember back then that it was heresy to question anything regarding a drug. So I hear you and I think the lie mattered. But I wonder if he would have said what you just said when you go back in time and think about the party line on this, that even then he would have-- - There would have been people who would have questioned whether he really does have the allergy. But I agree with you in that that's a more acceptable answer than just coming out and digging in, lying about being immunized. - Yeah, Harvey, you make a fair point there and it's easy to say now, right? But I think he would have gotten less than half the criticism he absorbed and it was a withering assault had he just told the truth and usually that's always the best option, right? To tell the truth. And he did tell me that he regrets that. So I think he realizes he made a mistake and it did a lot of damage and it's unfortunate. There are other things, obviously the conspiracy theories, the Jimmy Kimmel thing that I've added on top of that. But that's the foundation of his status as a villain right now and it is unfortunate. - But does he enjoy that status as a villain? And I'm asking this not just as a Jets fan, but I have noticed that since he's gone to the Jets and he's in New York, loves going to all the other, to go see all the other teams in New York, always gets some applause when he's at the Garden. So does he enjoy the fact that he knows that there are a lot of people who view him as a villain now? And he seems to lean into it. He's like, I'm just gonna be me and I'm cool with that. - Great way of putting it, leaning into it because New York fell in love with him last summer. Like I've never seen New York fall in love with an athlete coming from another franchise. And I've been doing this for more than 35 years. And yet, and it was a mutual love affair. And yet he goes to the US Open right before the start of the season and Novak Djokovic is playing. And of course, he was unvaccinated. And Aaron posts on Instagram something about that and calls him Novak's and crosses out Moderna, a sign at the stadium. And it was like he was poking the bear, poking the liberal bear of New York City. Like I'm going to test your love for me right now with this completely unnecessary post. And I'm sure Jets executives are like, what the heck are you doing? You've got such a good thing going here in this city. Why do that? But that's Aaron Rodgers. And I think deep down, there's a part of him that enjoys it. But I also think he's a human being. And sometimes it does hurt. And I do think a championship in New York would take care of a lot of that. It probably shouldn't. Victory doesn't equal virtue, but we all know how that works. If he wins a ring for the Jets, it's going to change the way everyone looks at him on and off the field. Boy, a lot would be forgiven. As two people from TMZ, we know that a hit song, a ring, that changes everything, right? But especially for the Jets, it would change a lot, right? Wow, I can't wait to read the book again. Yeah, this is going to be great, man. I cannot wait to read your book. Book is out on the 20th. You can pre-order now on Amazon and yeah, out on the 20th. All right. I'm going on vacation, my first book. I cannot wait. Me too. Well, you're going-- No, you've got to stay with me. You're going the week before me, but the week after. Thank you so much. And congratulations in the book. Thanks, gentlemen. It was a pleasure being on. All right, I appreciate it. [MUSIC PLAYING] It ends with us at a great debut. This is a new Blake Lively movie. It was number two in the box office, only topped by her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and Deadpool and Wolverine. Yeah, there is a lot of drama behind this movie. And I'm not talking about the plot. Talk about the making of it. Now, it co-stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. As her love interest, he is also the director of the film. Kind of. In name, in title. When you see the movie, the title says he is the director. But it's not the movie he thought he was directing. No, and so there's been a lot of talk about why they are not clearly not getting along. When they showed up at the premiere, he refused to take any photos, any group photos with Blake Lively. So there's beef here, but no one attached to the film will say specifically what caused it. We got some video, though, from the filming of this. This was shot in Hoboken, New Jersey, out on the street, but there were some people nearby in a coffee shop who saw a-- this was after they were not filming here. They were just discussing something. And it's a very animated conversation. Now, to the people who were watching this, they felt like it was an argument, that it was something that they clearly disagreed about and were arguing about and having something to do with the film. It wouldn't be out of the question, because they apparently were butting heads throughout this film. So it's based on a very famous book. And the book is kind of rooted in domestic violence. That's the overarching theme book. The character meets this guy as a neurologist. They hit it off, have this great romance. So Justin wanted to make a true to the book and make it about domestic violence, because it's a gripping story, and the book was huge. Blake, apparently, wanted to make it more of a rom-com, which isn't what the book is about at all. So they had these two visions that were very, very different, and it got to a point where Ryan Reynolds-- and this is the story-- that he actually rewrote one of the scenes that Blake acted in, which is kind of crazy. That someone who's not involved with the film would get that involved with the film. First of all, as far as the video we got, obviously, it can be interpreted based on who's looking at it. The witness said what the witness said that they looked upset, that they were upset. We were told by someone that was actually on set that this was them just talking between scenes. There was no beef. You can see that she doesn't storm off like there-- apparently, there was no beef there. But as far as there'll be-- But I will say this, Devin, as we're looking at here, his waving of the hand is definitely dismissive. And then she puts her head down like-- It doesn't look like a pleasant conversation. It definitely does not look like a pleasant conversation, and there's been all these stories like we've just discussed buzzing around. And I personally think the biggest thing is Blake Lively and the author who actually wrote the book that the movie is based on both Unfollow Justin. So it's like, why would they unfollow him on Instagram if they were cool? The biggest thing is-- Well, I mean, the unfollow. The unfollow. But I get your point. Yeah, I get your point. What I don't understand is why is the author unfollowing him if Justin was true to the book, and she wasn't? That's what I don't get. Well, because-- Well, that's what fans are mad about. But at the end of the day, the movie's doing super well, and I think her financial future-- Probably what the author is more-- Yes, maybe. The author maybe Team Blake, because she now believes that Blake's vision of it is going to make more money. I just find this really interesting that Sony-- No, it doesn't really matter who Blake is. But if Sony invested in the director, and they were having issues with it-- I would say that-- Why are the director? But if you're going to keep the director, you've got to empower him. Sony would say they invested more in Blake Lively as far as-- As far as-- because directors don't-- Unless you're-- Well, he was also a star. Again, but unless there are a handful of directors that will actually get people to go to see a movie. Mostly, people don't care about the director. They care about who's the star. No, I understand. But Sony thinks they invested in Blake Lively. Somebody's got a steer of the ship. Yes. And the person who's steering the ship is the director. And if they're not-- I agree with you. It's strange that they didn't back the director. That's what I mean. But the bottom line is money. There's apparently going to be a sequel, and it's kind of in tease that Blake Lively is going to be the one directing the sequel. So maybe they thought, hey, we're clearly going with Blake in the long term. So obviously, we're going to side with her. And Justin's even kind of like done like a slide comment about like, yeah, I think Blake's Lively is ready to direct. So like, he's kind of put that out there as well, so. Hi, guys. Amanda from Michigan here. Looks like instead of quiet on the set, there's drama on the set for Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. And with them not following each other on social media, I don't think they're going to be sending each other funny videos anymore. And I think this is their way of publicly announcing, hey, we're not friends. But I know that a video and a picture can completely be taken out of context. But unless Blake or Justin come out and publicly say, hey, this is what happened and this is how we feel, we're just going to have to keep wondering. I love your place. I knew he was going to comment on the place. What is it you like more? Is the lighting? Is it the piano? Lighting is-- the gold lighting is fantastic. I love the-- What about-- oh, do you like the hearth? Do you like the hearth? Do you like the hearth? I like the piano. Oh, no, I like the rug. I just think-- what a beautiful-- why do you see an out the window there? Because I can't really tell. That out the window right there? Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's my backyard. Wow, where are you again? What sort of-- In Michigan. What part? Jackson. That's really pretty. Got to say. What kind of seed are you using in your backyard? I am going to like it. I liked it, OK? Stop it, you know? We're going to move on. Really, I'm supposed to stop it after you open the door. Oh, you're, you know, clowning me. Yes, I am. All right, yes, moving on to Kylie Jenner and Timothy Chalamet, where some fans were wondering if they were still together. It's like, if they don't see them every week, then they think, it's over, it's over, it's over. It's been since June, since they were seen out. We saw them two days ago. And then, yes, a couple days ago, we saw them getting off a plane together, so everyone can calm down. They are still together. And people love a good "Where's Waldo" game, you guys. So Kylie posted a photo getting like her makeup done. And she takes like a mirror selfie. And people noticed, in the background, a tall, skinny figure, AKA Timothy Chalamet. We have caught you, we have found you. It appears to be him. And also, from the Bahamas trip, we know, like you guys mentioned, like they were seen coming off a jet, probably her jet, from the Bahamas. So we know he was part of that big celebration. But the photos she posted, she did not include him at all. However, there was a video posted by her best friend, Stossie. And you see a pair of white converse on the ground. - Oh my gosh. - And everyone was like, these are his shoes. That he was there 100%. Like everyone is loving this game. - Hey, I'm Brianna. I'm in Kansas City. I think that could be Timothy, you know, the internet is pretty good about playing detectives. I think when she's ready to go public, she will. But I don't really think Kylie cares. I know. The third thing is, it's like, when did the Kardashians get so private? - That's, they pick and choose when they want to be processed. - They do pick and choose. [MUSIC PLAYING] - Hard to say what the biggest takeaway is from Donald Trump's interview with Elon Musk. - It was two hours long. - Yes. I kind of expected that it was going to go long. It was, you know, they have no reason to-- no reason to go short. And we know that Donald Trump loves to talk. But a couple of things. There was a compliment to Kamala Harris, which I guarantee she did not receive as a compliment. And in fact, it was sort of an insulting-- she's just a pretty face kind of comment. And then there was a lisp combined with technical glitches. Now, the start of the interview was delayed because they were having some issues with X as far as the platform and the amount of traffic it was getting. They had audio issues. And then once the interview started, a lot of-- almost everyone who watched this, you could hear. There was a lisp. - Yeah, it's very apparent, very clear. - From listening to the actual feed. - Right. - So this is a little bit of what people heard when they were listening last night. - I see you broke every record in the book with so many millions of people. And it's an honor. We view that as an honor. - And then you do want silencing of certain voices. - I believe it's over 20 million people came into our country, many coming from jails, from prisons, from mental institutions, or a bigger version of that is insane as silums. - So it's very pronounced. I mean, you clearly hear it. And everybody wondered what's going on because that's not normally the way he speaks. And some people were thinking maybe it was dental work or something. Now the plot thickens. - Right, because there are videos that were shot by people sitting in the room. One person from Twitter, another person, sorry, from X, and another person from Donald Trump's team, just listen to it. The lisp seems to have disappeared. - Congratulations, because I see you broke every record in the book with so many millions of people. And it's an honor. We view that as an honor. - Biden actually did something that was impossible. Both sides hate him, both sides. That was a hard thing to do, unification. - So you don't hear it there. There was when he said so many millions. - Yeah, you could hear a little bit there. Otherwise, it seemed clean. - Yeah, it seemed different. - So, and I admit, I can't say this firsthand because I haven't listened to other Twitter or X spaces in the past. But there are people online who are saying that they have listened to a lot of these other spaces before other people not involving Donald Trump. And they say that a lot of times it has something to do with compression is what they're saying, that it distorts the audio and it often does sound like the speaker does have a lisp. And that's the speculation that that happened to Donald Trump last night. - The interesting thing is, I mean, first of all, that's a bad look for Elon Musk and his product. - Right. - Right. And I would think that he would come out and say something. - Well, Elon's not going to come out and say he has a lisp, but he's also not going to come out and say that he has to try to go and say nothing. So he's saying nothing. I want to say something that I got to say, I was thinking of this last night, that this is a presidential election. It's important. Everyone is. We are talking about military records. We're talking about crowd sizes. We're talking about lisps. And when you look at everybody covering this election right now, there is no substance being covered. - So Elon Musk has, and he said it last night, I heard him as I was listening. And he said that I've made the same offer to Kamala Harris. Do you think that she should take him up? And she can go out there. She hasn't really done any interviews yet. She can get out there in front of tens of millions, if not hundreds of millions of people, and really discuss her position on a lot of these issues. And I think that's what the voters are very curious about right now. What is Kamala Harris' platform? And I mean, what better placed than on X in front of, again, maybe hundreds of millions of people? - Well, it's fair to ask, yeah, state your positions and have a news conference. On the other side, you've got Trump's ally saying, would you just talk about issues and stop trashing the other side? So it's going on everywhere right now. And it's just, it's very frustrating. - Hi, my name is Alan Massenberg. And I'm from Philadelphia, PA. And I gotta agree. I don't know if this is the right space for presidential conversations, because there's lists going on that may not be real, you know, at first when I heard it, I thought maybe Trump just had low blood sugar. And he was slurring that way, you know? So I'm not sure what to believe. But yeah, I was likely to be more traditional and not being on X and platforms like that in space. - Oh, look, there's going to be a debate at that point. They can't run from neither side can run from the issues. - To be continued, right? I mean, is that what has to happen in the debate? - One would think, who knows? I mean, the way it's going right now. (upbeat music) - On Taylor Swift arrives in London for the-- - She's there, I think. - She's actually there, yes, you're right. She is actually in London. But when she goes to the stadium and the 100,000 fans flock to Wembley on Thursday, they're all going to have to fit in the stadium. And what I'm referring to is obviously the stadium holds that many people, but what always happens at a Taylor concert is, I don't know, half that many-- - Thousands of people show up. - Thousands of people show up. - And just stand outside the stadium and listen to her performance called Tay Gating, which is something I just learned today. - Me too. I like the phrase, it's called Tay Gating, and it is not going to be allowed in London for obvious reasons. - Yeah. - Well, for obvious reasons, but it wasn't allowed the very first time when she was back there in June, there was no tailgating or anything, but people still did it. And it's going to be very, very hard to not have any Taylor Swift fans show up. That's what we do. - Well, that's what the police are for, Courtney. - I know, but Harvey, they had that same exact rule the very first time in June, and it still happens. - Yeah, but it got real this time. - I know, but I guarantee more people will be there, but there are other events like happening, like at the box park that's not too far. They're having a Taylor Swift event where there's going to be glitter stations and everything, and a DJ is going to be there playing her music. So they're telling us the things to go out there. - That's a small consolation for the actual concert. - It is, but I mean, honestly, you're not seeing her anyways, you're just hearing her voice. So there's not like that much of a difference. - So this is actually, like you said, not surprising after you got all the details of the Vienna plot, but also we had heard from law enforcement sources that Wembley, in particular, is a stadium where they have always for all events, taken counter-terrorism measures very, very seriously. And that's probably why, even though I hear you're saying, Courtney, that they said they weren't allowing it, but there were still people who showed up. - They're going to be more strict about it this time. - Well yeah, they're going to be more serious. They're actually doing like a smaller bag policy than what they normally have for the very first time around. So they're taking other precautions too. And then you're also, they're going to be starting the shows earlier. So I think like the doors open at 3.30 now, they were usually like 5.30. So they're also starting everything earlier. - But she doesn't get on stage, she doesn't go on stage. - She doesn't go on stage. - 45. - No, but they're going to be alive. - Like it will arrive. - And then just wait. You got to exchange your friendship bracelets, man. Come on. - Yes! And she had more people. - She had more people there that are going to be performing. Now there's like Sucky Waterhouse or Suki Waterhouse. - Suki Waterhouse. - Suki Waterhouse. Suki Waterhouse. - I'm just very jealous because I have friends going into this concert and I want to go so bad. It's such an amazing show. - Okay, so you want to know, I just thought of this. Do you know who the big winner of this concert's going to be? I just thought of it. - Besides Taylor Swift. - This isn't a residential area, right, Wembley? - Yeah. - So the winners are going to be the people who say, fine, you can come in my house and listen through the window at the concert, but you're going to have to pay me $2,000. - And by the way, people are going to do that. - No. - People are going to do that. Charles, I'm telling you, people are going to do that. I mean, we have a guy in our office who lives by SoFi who rents out his front lawn every time there's a big thing. So what's the difference? - Yeah, and Keith has made like $12 doing that, okay? So let's hope it goes better for folks in London. - See from California, I think taking extra safety precautions outside of these concerts is smart, especially with the riots right now that are going on in London. I feel like as we get closer also to elections, more things are going to start happening. So we all need to be more cautious worldwide. But I think that Taylor should give back to her fans and do something free for them virtually like a virtual live event. Because they have been so supportive of her, especially during this era's tour. - Maybe she'll do that at the end. - To give a movie, you can watch this. - Yeah, she got a movie. I mean, seriously, she got nine albums for each album, right? - Yeah. - So there you go. Okay, we're going to move on. - Yes, to the LA Olympics, all the excitement as the closing ceremonies went down in Paris. And you saw Dr. Dre performing on the beach here and remember we talked about the CGI beach. - The CGI beach. - And you'd expect that both he and Snoop will be involved in the festivities four years from now. But Dr. Dre-- - I'm sorry, he's Charles. - I know, it's the Bahamas. It looks crazy. - The amount of light they must have-- - I mean, no way the ocean looks like that. - It doesn't look that blue. - I mean, I don't wanna like try to ruin tourism, but still. - But it just doesn't. - Okay, and who? - Dr. Dre has bigger, grander designs than just performing music when the Olympics come here. He actually wants to be an athlete. He wants to be on the Olympic team, the archery team. And this is not something he's just picking up now. Here's what he said. He sat down with E.T. and revealed his secret talent. - I'm trying to try out for the Olympics in 2028. - How are you trying out for? Where are you gonna try out for it? - Archery. - And you're being serious. - I'm dead-ass serious. - I actually started playing around with archery in junior hops, right? I stopped for a while and my son bought me a set up. I don't know if it was for my birthday or father's day or something like that. So I had it set up in my backyard and I heard that qualifying for the Olympics at 77 feet, not practice at 90. Yeah, wouldn't that be interesting to go, especially with it being here in LA and when it goes back? - That would be unbelievable. First of all, he's what, 62 or something like that? - I believe so, yeah. And I mean, that would be incredible if he qualified for the Olympics. - It would be incredible, but not entirely unprecedented. Gina Davis famously in her early friend qualified in archery. It's one of those niche kind of sports where you can get really good at it with just practice and training over a couple of years. So maybe if he's practicing in his backyard at 90 feet, maybe. - Buddy coming to you from the lake near Nashville, Tennessee, look, I think it would be awesome if Dr. Drake could do it. However, he's got to like do a lot of work in the next three years. And to be honest with you, he has some of the facts wrong. He says that the qualifying length is 70 feet or 77 feet, it's actually 70 meters. So it's 230 feet. If he's practicing at 90, that's a huge difference to think that in three years you can catch up to some of the greatest in the world. I just don't think it's realistic. It is cool though to see billionaires like, you know, Mark Zuckerberg with Jiu Jitsu or Dr. Drake here with archery to pick up a skill and a passion, but I don't know, three years is. - Yeah. Well, here's, but no, no, but what you're missing is this, that a lot of these athletes, they have to get first, second, and third jobs just to pay the rent. - He's brilliant. - He doesn't have to do that. So he's got all the time in the world to practice. So he even's the playing field here. (upbeat music) - US gymnast, Jordan Childs. I know I'm biased obviously, we're here in the US, but I feel like she's really good at screwed. She, you know, had did not get the bronze medal and then they appealed it and they said, you know what, you're right, here's the bronze medal. And she actually has the bronze medal now. She went through the ceremony, but they now say the Olympic, the international, the IOC says they're taking it back because the appeal came in. - Five seconds too late. - But five seconds too late. - But they now have video showing that they were within the timeframe that it was done in 47 seconds and they had a minute and they still won't let it-- - They are digging in the hill. - The medal. - But the USOC says they're gonna keep fighting this. - So wait a minute, so I have an idea. So this is all about time. So let's talk to an authority on clocks. - Who would that be? - Oh, oh, that would be the guy who actually came to Jordan Childs, came to offer just a bit of a consolation. That would be Flavor Flav, who was over in Paris, having a grand old time from what we could see. But he has offered her and delivered a bronze timepiece as a consolation. So joining us right now, Flavor Flav, welcome back to TMZ Live. How you doing, man? - And yo, thanks for having me, fellas. How you doing, Charles? How you doing, Avi? - Good. - I'm gonna be the building man. - We outside, we outside, we outside. (laughing) - So this, you actually, you offered that said you were gonna do this. - I'm shocked that, do you have these clocks just like, you have like a room where there's a bunch of them in your travel. - You have to spend so quickly. - Well, honestly, I have a person that makes them, you know what I'm saying? My name is Kelge, you know what I'm saying? The company is called Rockin' Stones. You know, she's the one that makes all my clocks, all every single last one of them. - I know her. - You know what I'm saying? She does a great job in, you know, being that Jordan Childs that's gotten stripped from a metal, you know what I'm saying? It's something that was well deserved, you know what I'm saying? I know that the clock that I'm giving Jordan Childs, I know it can never, never, ever replace a gold medal, you know what I'm saying? But the thing is, it's where my heart is, you know what I'm saying? And it's also the thought that counts there, you know. That girl, that girl deserved her home. - Well, you know what I'm saying? - Listen, maybe she'll end up getting to keep it in the end. But let's hope so. She still has it. By the way, I'm not suggesting that Jordan should take my advice. - I think she should keep it, but I was gonna ask you, Flav, if you were in her shoes, you actually have the medal now. They are saying that it has to go back. What do you do? - You know what I would say? I would say five words. Are you ready for these five words? - I don't think so, but. - Yeah, you're ready for it. You're ready for it. - And the world is ready for it. This is what I would say. My, my, my, all mine. - I gotta say, it's hard to have a barometer with you because you're always so happy and joyful. But you seem so stoked in Paris. - In Paris, yeah. - I just kind of felt it as we watched you. - Hey, listen, check this out. I had the most amazing experience of my life. Just being at the United States Olympics for my first time ever, because the only time that I've ever seen the Olympics was on TV. You know what I'm saying in the whole nine? And, and, and I'm proud to be sponsoring, you know what I'm saying? The United States Olympic water polo team, you know what I'm saying? Because I mean, hey, you know, the government should be doing what I'm doing, sponsoring these teams. These teams out there busting their butts, man, to make the United States look good. But when they're not in the water and when they're not competing, they're home living lives, you know, active lives, working two and three jobs. You know what I'm saying? So I said, why not step up to the plate? And let me try to, you know, give these girls man some coverage, man some sponsorship, you know what I'm saying? So I stepped up to the plate. - I am so excited about tonight. Yeah, I love family feud. - And you're gonna be on family feud. - Oh yeah, that's right. That's a serve base 10. (laughing) You're not hosting, but you're going up against comedian Bobby Lee. I'm looking forward to seeing this. It's gonna be so entertaining, man. - Do you clean Bobby Lee's clock? - He can't tell it. - Oh, is he? Did you do that? - Yeah, that's what I tried. - Hey, I love you guys. Man, thanks for having me as always. - Absolutely. - Man, much love and all of that. Anytime y'all need something from play, y'all ain't that, but gotta ask me twice. I'm right there for you, boy. - CNN for years. - Yeah, for years, yeah. - Oh yeah, that's right. 2028 LA, local play, carrying that torch. I'm going for it. - Ooh. - Thanks, Flav. I gotta say, that would be cool. - All this blue that we've been seeing on the West Coast, I'm not buying it. - It looks beautiful. - It's not as blue. We're in this building where we don't have any window. - I walked the beach an half hour hour after I saw the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It didn't look anything like that. I don't get it. - It really did. (upbeat music) - Hallie Berry was just chilling at home when she got a special delivery. Courtesy of Mark Wahlberg. Now, I'm gonna be a little cynical and look through this as what I think it really is, which is a way for them to-- - Oh, you think it's promotion? - Promote their new Netflix movie, even though it's not actually discussed in the clip that she posted. - What's the name of the movie? - The Union. - See, you just fell for it. - Oh, man. (laughing) Oh. Anyway, it had nothing to do with the movie. Hallie's sitting at home with a boyfriend Van Hunt. They get a knock at the door. Special delivery. - Hi, for your second boot truck, Wahlberg. - Wahlberg! (laughing) Wahlberg! (screaming) (laughing) - Oh my god, the Wahlberg or a truck is that way? (laughing) - Oh my god. - Oh my god. - Are you hungry? - I used to live on that street. - Oh my god. - You shouldn't park a truck. It's one lane each side. - It's kind of blocked traffic, dude. Now he calls her and all things. It's like, oh my gosh, I didn't know the other-- - Okay, it's the way they-- - It's fully to promote the movie and all that, but I do believe she's probably never had it before. Unlike when the Rock said three different times he had never had in and out before, when he clearly had. I believe she had never had it. - Well, hold on, Eric, she lives near, she lives right near Sunset Plaza, which is where Wahlbergers used to be. So she would have been within walking distance of a Wahlbergers. - I doubt she went to Wahlbergers. - Well, I-- - Yeah. - Because it can't be-- - It can't be-- - You're going to Wahlbergers to walk into Wahlbergers. - That said, it's a one lane street and it's a narrow-- - Yeah, it over it. - It's-- - It bothers me greatly. I'm triggered. (laughs) - My name is Chatham, I'm from Los Angeles. This is actually hilarious. Like, yes, it's a one lane road, but the people in my neighborhood can definitely afford to be distracted for five minutes, and maybe they can get a free burger at it, right? Like, what's the fine-- - Yeah, go on up to the burger truck. - That's a good point. I wonder if you're giving Wahlbergers to the-- - Yeah. - You know what, any angry neighbors pull up, you're like, "Would you like some burgers?" Okay, what else you guys want to talk about? - Yeah, we want to talk about Erin Rogers. My name is Judson, and I am from Tucson, Arizona, and it seems like this is another case of a woman latching onto an athlete, and then she becomes his kryptonite. So, that's what I think. - Oh my God, are you serious? You're blaming your colleague Olivia-- - You're calling Olivia that one kryptonite? - And by the way, he said, "Another case of a woman "latching onto an athlete." - Oh my God, we're not touching that. That's kryptonite, one more. - Hello, my name is Mo 48 from Texas, and I'm here to talk about Kylie Jenner. Well, me personally, I believe with the fans thing. I think it's actually her other half in the back of that picture, or that mirror. I mean, the genders are pretty much, take a picture or something, and then double check to make sure anything's wrong with her. - So, did she do it on purpose? As like a fine woman? - I thought she totally did it on purpose. Hey, real quick, is the word tour underneath the word celebrity there? - Or are you just a TMZ celebrity? - There you go. - All right, there you go. - How was the tour? - Oh, it was great. I went on my birthday two weeks ago. - Oh, wow, watch the show tomorrow, 'cause we have a big star that's gonna be on the tour. Actually, Thursday, we'll do it. - Now, wait, I make her feel bad that-- - No, they're taking the tour today. - The one on the tour. - But tomorrow, there's gonna be a big star on the bus. - belated happy birthday. - belated happy birthday. (upbeat music) - The last week Orlando Bloom went skydiving out of a helicopter. - Yep, that looks scary to me, by the way. - It definitely looked scary, but he survived it. But he's back on a helicopter. This time, he's jumping out with Katy Perry. - Without a shoot. - Yeah, exactly, no shoot. - How are they gonna survive this? - Jumping out of the helicopter without-- - Oh, they're just right above the water, okay. - Still, still, still pretty impressive. - It's really like it's about 20, 25 feet, man. - Easy. - They didn't have far to swim when they landed, because they basically landed right next to Jeff Bezos. - Well, no, they-- - And look, there's someone waiting to pick them up. - No, they landed next to the little boat. - No, no, no, that's the Coru. - Is that the Coru? - That's the big one there next to, yeah. - Oh, really? - I can tell from the bow. - Well, how are they getting up there? You know how these super yachts work? What do you mean, really? Are you? - Wow, someone's trolling. Oh, really? You don't know how people get on board these big yachts, Harvey? - I have no idea. - Really? - But-- - Where's your phone? Let's see some of your vacation photos. - Would you-- - They guarantee-- - Stop it. - Yeah, stop it, stop it. Okay, tomorrow we're gonna show you the big celebrity who is on the TMZ celebrity tour today. Have a great one, we will see you there. (upbeat music) (upbeat music)
