We'll need our provincial government to step up. The good news is, a majority of Canadians and yes, even Albertans understand climate change is real and it's caused by humans and we support action to protect ourselves and each other and we don't want our fellow Canadians left behind in the global energy transition and indeed, we should prosper from the change is what we all believe. Let there be no doubt, when a climate majority makes itself known to these provincial leaders, these slackers and outright failures, their position becomes untenable. The question is, how much hotter will we let them make it? Well, that's about it for this episode of The Climate Lands. I think our guests, sponsors and volunteers that make this happen and of course you, the listener. Calgary Climate Hub is a volunteer-led non-profit organization that generates a diverse group of Calgarians committed to working together to support meaningful local action on climate change. Through representative variety of communities, industries, cultures and causes, we believe that a broad and diverse range of Calgarians and organizations need to be engaged in climate crisis to develop impactful solutions that fit our unique, political and economic circumstances. The blue train is a great place to be. She's aware of the I.R. No one can tell her what she's worth cause it changes every day. It depends, it depends, it depends, it depends on what you say she has found herself where others lose their way in the blank spaces on that page. Oh you could call her a free lancer sometimes a time traveler that's nowhere, oh no way she has to stay, no one can tell her what she's worth cause it changes every day. It depends, it depends, it depends, it depends on what you say, choking a cigarette, bridging a passion and regret, not ready surely, not ready to move on, yeah. Oh and in the thick white haze she pictures a feeling of her very own, something lovingly old, no one can tell her what she's worth cause it changes every day. It depends, it depends, it depends, it depends on what you say. It depends, it depends on what she's worth, it depends on what she's worth, it depends on what she's worth, it depends on what she's worth, it depends on what she's worth, it depends on what she's worth, it depends on what she's worth, it depends on what she's worth, it depends on what she's worth, it depends on what she's worth, it depends, it depends on what she's worth, it depends on what she's worth, it depends on what she's worth, it depends on what she's worth, it depends on what she's worth, it depends on what she's worth, it depends on what she's worth, it depends on what she's worth, it depends on what she's worth, or folk music festival themed episode, so Calgary Folk Music Festival is happening on Thursday through Sunday, it's happening this weekend, so I thought as it's one of Calgary's largest music festivals that gets a lot of hype, I thought I would do a little bit of an episode themed around artists from Alberta that are going to be playing at the Calgary Folk Music Festival, so we have about three artists on here that are not from Calgary, we don't often feature artists from outside of Calgary, but for this week's episode we are going to, because why not, it's fun, and we have a few great artists from Alberta that are going to be joining a whole bunch of Calgary artists that are going to be playing at the Folkfest this weekend, and it includes a ton of international artists too, I mean you can get all of the information for the lineup at calgaryfolkfest.com, go check out their website, they have all of the information that you could possibly need, and you can also get tickets there, so definitely go check that out, that's calgaryfolkfest.com, you can see the full lineup, and you can also look at a whole bunch of the different artists' schedules, so when we're going to be playing, you can look at the artists' bios, they have links to their social media, to various different streaming platforms, it's pretty great, definitely go and check that out, we'll also talk about some other events happening in the city this week, and like I say every single show, I am not able to cover all the events that happen in a week, so please do go and follow your favourite venues and artists on social media. You can also check out their websites, as they'll often post information about upcoming events there. So we are going to start off our set with something a little bit slower, we're going to go through a mix of different music today, very much following the Folkfest Music theme, so we're going to start off a little bit slower, then we're going to get into something a little bit more classic, folky, we're going to move into what I'm going to call an indie folk set, and then that should bring us to the end of our show today. Before I get into this next set, I do want to let you know that I will be here in the booth until 1pm, so if you want to give me a call, a text, whatever you would like, please feel free to do so, that phone number is 403-220-3991, I'll be here until 1pm, so feel free to text me, if you are a artist out there, or maybe you have a suggestion for great music, let me know 403-220-3991. We're going to kick off this set with our first Alberta artist feature of the week, Kaylee Cardinal, and their track "How I Learned to Live Alone" on CJSW 90.9 FM.
