Let's get into some of these leftover, we-and-we-out questions before we jump into some of the questions that have come in in the mailbag, and I've seen some good questions come through the mailbag. And as we shift to mailbag time, as you're in the chat, throwing your Notre Dame football questions and whatever else, and we will get to them. So this first one comes from Matt, and these questions, the we-and-we-out questions we didn't get to on Tuesday's show from the new champions lounge where, of course, you could become a premium subscriber and get all kinds of good juicy information, and put in we-and-we-out questions or buy/sell-hold questions for Brian's show every week. So from Matt, 1A, question 1A. Okay. Notre Dame's offense will have to win a game or two because the defense gave up a late touchdown in a tight game. We-and-we-out on that one for starters. I'm out. I have a lot more faith in the defense right now than I do the offense, and I think that I'm hoping that they have cured their woes of giving up late touchdowns, and part of that was because in those kinds of games that were very tight, were very low scoring, and then they ended up giving up a late touchdowns because the offense was completely ineffective. And I don't see that being the case this year, and I think it will allow the defense to play better longer. So I'm out. I'm out as well. I think if you had one or two more opponents of the caliber of Florida State, or even of a USC, maybe potentially, you get into some of those kind of situations. But not that I'm overlooking anyone on the schedule, but- Sure. Yes. As I think we can all agree, there's just not a ton of teeth to it. Right. So I just don't think that there are enough of those kind of games, maybe that this scenario necessarily would come up. So question one, B from Matt, Notre Dame's losses this year will be the result of the offense not being able to accomplish one A in or out on that. So not being able to score after the defense gives up a late score is going to be one of Notre Dame's losses. I mean, that's a very specific way to lose a game. And so because of the low percentage that that occurs, I'm going to be out on it, although I could see that being the case, maybe they lose a game they're not supposed to lose because that happens. Like I could see that happening, but I can't predict that that's going to happen. So for those reasons, Sean, I'm out. I think Matt and I've thought this was some of the other questions and comments and stuff like that that we've had here over the last week and a half, especially as more people have kind of come back out of hibernation into the shows and stuff like that, people we haven't seen as much of over the summer. I feel like there's still some lingering BK PTSD out there. This offense is going to look a lot different than what you're used to seeing. So I don't think you need to have the hand-ringing and sort of dreaded concern about what the offense is or isn't going to be able to do. I think it's going to perform at a much more competent, consistent level, especially than last year. Maybe some of this goes to Ohio State, Clemson, Louisville last year, maybe some of it goes to that. But again, systems going to look a lot different, the quarterbacks going to look a lot different, the receivers are going to look a lot different you're going to have. But the running back was an issue last year, but you're going to have a couple of dynamic running backs out there. So I'm not concerned about that kind of scenario. So I've got to be out on that one as well. This one came from Salty. The Irish will feature at least two punt returners, possibly three. The great one, Jaden Greathouse will be one of them, and at least two of them will score one or more touchdowns. Talk about very specific. Are you putting it out on that one, Vince? I'm so out on that entire scenario. Number one, they may have more than one punt returner, but it'll be a punt returner in mop up duty, in my opinion. Usually once they find a punt returner, it's that guy, unless they're up by like four touchdowns and it's the fourth quarter, you know, that kind of a thing. And I think that punt returner is going to be Jordan Faison. I don't think it's going to be Jaden Greathouse, first of all. That's the direction I'm leaning as well as that it'll end up being Faison. It's hard enough to get one return touchdown in a season, let alone two from two different players. That part I'm way out on, just because that statistical probability is so low, they don't see that being the case. And look, Salty must have watched that, that Joey Gatherall punt return video that I saw online the other day. I don't know if you saw that somebody shared it on social media. I did not, but I was probably in the stands for it because that's when I was in college. So here's the thing. I think that the reason, and this is, this is for you, Salty, because I know you're listening. This is for you. Please hear anyway, whether or not he's listening, the reason that the reason that Greathouse is not going to be returning puns is because he could have the potential to be the number one wide receiver. They're not putting their number one wide receiver back to return puns. And it's just not what you're going to do. You're going to put a, you know, phase on a shifty, speedy guy like Jordan Faison makes perfect sense. He's got a hand that he's got perfect sense to be the punt return. He returned two puns last year, and I believe one of them went for over 20 yards, like put him back there. Let's see what he got. I mean, punt return is perfectly built for a guy who plays the cross. Salty's, Salty's already getting salty with you. He wants to know if anyone keeps track of your responses. Hey, I'm just telling you, two guys aren't going to return touch. I just said yesterday that Jesse and I were, we're talking, I can't remember who brought whatever up about some of your predictions and stuff like that. But I said, we need to, we need to make a file of Vince's rose colored predictions is what we need to call it. I have been, I think I've been almost negative this year as far as a lot of my predictions to be perfectly honest. I think I think I've taken a turn. You've been negative with your analysis. I don't know if you've been negative with your predictions. Okay. Fair. You can still get a little, you know, glad handy with some of your predictions, I think. So that's been my mo. I'm not going to lie about that. It has been my mo, but I've been much, I have tried to be more cognizant of that, you know, moving forward. You got my, my college football playoff predictions here. Nice. And nice. We're going to do that in rapid fire. I'm very impressed. You actually read the rundown today. I did, but I also had the research done from our last show that I did. Are you saying you have more time when you're working at school than when you're doing shows with Brian? We'll never say that out loud. Hello, Penn. And to hire, you need Indeed. Few from Tommy, first one, a transfer will attain captain ship this year. Inter out on that. I'm in. I'm in on that. So let's go ahead because on this subject, Joe dropped a question in the mailbag. If I can find it, he said, I asked for your way to early captains in the spring. I know we can't remember, but who are your captains now? So I agree, I am in that a transfer, but I'll just say Riley Leonard. I think Riley Leonard asked him. That was mine as well of this team. So I will go with that as my transfer captain. Any other predictions for transfers? No, no, that's my, that's my major one. I mean, there's a chance like maybe a Chris Mitchell could be. Well, no, not necessarily the transfer guys, but just for Joe's question, predicting the captains in general, kind of just piggybacking on the captain question. Yeah. Well, you know, I think Riley Leonard is going to be there for offense and it varies every year, right? I mean, sometimes they have two offense, two defense and a special teams, you know, what is that going to look? I think, you know, Devin Ford has a really good chance of being a captain as a special teams guy. Because like that, we've been told many, many times he's on this team because he's the best special teams guy they have. And so I think he could definitely be a captain. I think Jack Kaiser is an easy one. And I think Xavier Watts would be my other one on defense. I'm not how we're crossed it because that's what like I think two of those three guys cross Kaiser Watts. Yeah. I have to toss up between a Kaiser, I think it's a lock three or not. Yeah. It's a lock. But it would be a toss up between Watts and Cross. I would imagine I'm having a hard time on offense, maybe Mitchell Evans. But I think he's still a junior. Is he not all the time? I'm going off the top of my head here. I could think he's a senior. I think he's a like, you know, from like in terms of how long he's been at school now. Senior with junior eligibility. Okay. That makes. Yeah. He is a senior with senior eligibility. Senior was senior. He would be my second pick then. I would go right. So if I have to go two, two and one, I would go Riley Leonard. I would go Mitchell Evans. I would go Xavier Watts, Kaiser and Devin Ford. Those would be my five. Okay. I gave my defense defensive guys. I think it'll be, you know, at least two of the three that we talked about Kaiser Cross. Kaiser Cross Watts. Riley Leonard is one. Like you, I'm struggling. I think Devin Ford makes excellent sense for the special teams captain, assuming there is one. I'm struggling. Like who would be the second offensive captain? You hear a lot of like, you know, I know you don't want to hear this and there's still, but there's still a starting job up for grabs as well. Like Rudolph, Joe Rudolph has talked about Pat Coogan's leadership and it sounds like he's definitely like he and Shrauth are two of the leaders of that group. You kind of hear Craig mixed in there as well. But again, like you're talking about still so young, like a bunch of underclass type guys. That would be tough because I love Craig. I'm a huge fan of Craig. Obviously, I think Billy Shrauth is probably the best lineman they've got, but they're so young. I don't think they're captain status just yet. Like a Jaden Thomas. I could see. Yeah, I could too. In the video. That would be the one for me. Yeah. The reason I wouldn't say Pat Coogan is because he hasn't even a technically as far as working certain. He hasn't even won the job yet. Now if he gets named captain, then it's going to be obvious who won the job. You know what I mean? I don't know. It's going to be interesting for sure. Josh is asking if today's mailbag. Yes, it is. We have a little bit different title on the show today because of the news about the peacock series, but we are doing mailbag right now. So throw your mailbag questions in there, Josh, if you have some for us. Next one from Tommy, Jaden Greathouse leads the receivers in yards, but Bo Collins leads the team in receptions, interact on that. I don't think, I think it's actually the opposite. I think the great one is going to lead in receptions. And I think there's a good chance that Chris Mitchell leads in yards. That's the direction I'm going as well. Yeah. And I think Bo Collins is probably the mix of both of those guys. Yeah. He can be second potentially in both one of those. Yeah. He could be second in both. Right. To be honest when it's all said and done, but I mean, it'll come from those three, in my opinion, but I don't know that Bo right now, Bo's not even running with the first team. It's still rotation, and I don't think it even matters who's out there first. But I would, I would defer to the other two before I would go to Collins. Last one from Tommy, Notre Dame will achieve at least two end of season major awards, interact on that. That's tough, man. Like, are we talking all American? Is that a major award? Are we talking the individual awards? Because we're talking all American, 100% absolutely. Yes. That will happen. Probably talking like individual, like, you know, American award, Bronco Nagorski, those kind of things. Heisman. Yeah. The problem is if they have as good of a season as we think they could have, then yes, they probably will. I don't know that I could pick them out. Like a healthy Mitchell Evans has a great shot at being the best tied end of the country. Right? I mean, he's got a great shot at it. I don't think, you know, Notre Dame is going to put up the numbers to have a wide receiver. I don't think, I mean, it's possible. But from a stats standpoint, I don't think Riley Leonard is going to have enough stats to be up for like quarterback specific awards. He could be up for like a Heisman. I'm not predicting he's going to win, but he could be up for it. So that would not be. You don't think he wins like the Davey O'Brien? Yeah, I just don't because I think those are going to probably go to a quarterback who is a stat producer, whoever that may be. You know what I mean? He's going to have stats. It's just going to be just not all through the air, and I think that's what most people are going to look at. You know what I mean? So I mean, do you realistically think that there's now there's defensive lineman that could win some individual awards? I don't know a lot offensive lineman. Right. Like if Howard Cross performs anywhere close to the level he performed at last year, he's going to get something because he would, you know, that would like he's got a lot more pre-season attention with all these award, you know, watch lists and stuff and that helps coming out. Yeah. He's already on everyone's radar. Now, that also means he's going to see more attention from other teams as well, like we've talked about, but I think between him and Watts, one of those guys is going to grab some kind of hardware. To me, the question is, like does Riley Leonard get something, whether it's Heisman or again, you know, like Davey O'Brien, whatever it happens to be? I think that the, he's again, he's the most obvious candidate on the offensive side. I'm going to go out. I'm very confident in one. I'm just not confident in two. Okay. I dig it, I'm kind of right there with you to be honest with you. And the final we in and we out before we jump deeper into the mail bag from cousin Eddie's mobile home, if the offense is a top 20 offense in the nation, they'll flip some key recruits in or out on that. Oh, I'm in on that. I think, you know, specifically a wide receiver. I think they've got a great shot once they start producing and proving just, you know, on film, on tape, whatever you want to say it, I think that they will have an opportunity to flip some people. I think there's, I think there's a decent amount of wait and see out there amongst recruits to see if Mike Dembrock's offense is going to translate to Notre Dame. And I think that that's legit. And so I am in, I'm in on that as well. I'm absolutely in on that guy. I've said all along. I feel like they're going to flip a wide receiver. It might not be one of the wide receivers that they originally missed out on, but they've, they've done a good job at staying persistent over the last three years and they've flipped some guys late. So I think though, I think they will. I think they'll definitely flip some offensive skill talent out there. So let's get to the mail bag. Whoa. There's some decent questions in there just saying, you might have to be picky and choosy at this point, but there's some good ones in there. Let's start with this from Mark. What type of vehicles do the coaching staff drive? Does it match their personalities? First of all, I have no idea who drives what number one, number two, I do believe that they have a deal with a local auto dealership that they can lease or whatever with a vehicle of their choice, right? And I believe that's for all the head coaches on campus. I don't know if other coaches have that or not. I will never forget Dave Shrag when he was the baseball coach at Notre Dame. He had this deal. He was the head coach, so he got to pick out the car of his choice for free or part of his contract, however you want to say it, and he picked a minivan because he had young children. Right. And I just thought that that was hilarious to me. Like you can have any vehicle you want and you're driving a minivan. That cracked me up, man. Are you going to crack me? I thought that that was hilarious. That fits Shrag's personality though. A thousand percent. A thousand. Surprising. I would say a pretty high percentage drives some kind of SUV. Yeah. I'm not even good with brands and all that. And they may have side cars and stuff like I know for a fact, Mike Denbrock has a beautiful side like a sports car because I saw a kid drive it to prom, was borrowing it. So I mean, an absolutely beautiful sports car. I'm sure the coaches have that, right? Like, and they should have a little side car. Their kids have a nice car or something like that, Marcus Freeman's son has a very nice vehicle. I'm sure. You know what I mean? And why wouldn't he? You know, I mean, why wouldn't he? But yeah, I would whenever I drive by the parking lot at the Goog, right? You know, it's what I'm talking about right there. It's mostly at black SUVs in that parking lot. So I would venture to guess that that's what most of them are driving. Yeah. Anytime I see a big black, nice look at SUV driving around town, you know, the windows are tinted and I'm like, which coaches behind those windows, right? 100% is wife, you know, 100% so yeah, I just don't see them driving around town in their vehicles. You know what I mean? But I mean, you know, they have them. So Josh, picture for you for Denbrock. Okay. Cool. So Josh wants to know if Blake Fisher doesn't get injured his sophomore year, does Joe Walt even see the field his freshman year and if not, he's likely still on the roster this year. Yes, he does see the field because and the reason I say that is because remember he was in number 45. He was being trotted out as a tight end at the beginning of the season that year because they knew that he was really good, but there was nowhere to put him on the offensive line. And so they would bring him basically in as a blocking tight end and they were extra blocker because he obviously played tight end in high school and they were transitioning him to tackle in college. Yeah. So he had so he was on the field before, you know, Blake Fisher got her he was planned to be on the field. So I know this isn't the answer that Josh is looking for because he wants to know if he would have seen the field at tackle. But I think the answer that answer is no, but they knew that he had talent and they wanted to get him experience. And so they were bringing him in as a tight end kind of a deal as a blocking tight end. Well, look, it was still a little bit of a gong show remember for throughout that season. And that's how that's how ultimately ended up playing there at left tackle. I mean, obviously, Blake Fisher's injury opened the door for him. So you know, the answer, you know, like I think you can still kind of go, you know, you're right. You know, the fact that they were using him as an extra blocking tight end, he would have been on the field at some point. Would he have actually seen the field as a tackle that season? Probably not. Probably not. Like Fisher stays completely healthy. Probably not. Yeah. Yeah. And Josh, you're you're right. I was going to get to that. It was the freshman year for both of those guys. Yes, it was. But Fisher had beat him out because Fisher actually had experience as a tackle. And Joe didn't, you know what I mean? And so there was a, there was a bit of a learning curve there, right? And so I'm not overly surprised that that was the case going into the season. But I also don't think that he would have usurped, if you will, Blake Fisher, like Blake Fisher was a highly touted guy coming in, you know what I mean? And he earned that left tackle spot as a freshman. And so I don't think that Joe Alt would have beat him out, you know, enough to play over him, but he did well enough to play. And I think that is a key part of this. I mean, the fact that Fisher played as a true freshman at left tackle right away, game one on the road speaks to the talent and everything that Fisher had shown up into that point and what the other options look like. And again, it took Alt until later in the season to, you know, to work his way into that. And I, you know, again, because of the gong show situation, my other guys kind of proved that they didn't belong out there and that gave Alt even more opportunities, right? Stanley wants to go the recruiting route. He says, so why would Deuce Knight expect playing time behind CJ Carr? I really don't want this to sound condescending or mean. That's not my point to this, but how do we know what Deuce Knight wants? Like, and I mean that in that Notre Dame has been very clear to him that he's got work to do once he gets here, that he's not a day one starter. Is this a report that's out there right now? I don't know. Like Deuce is saying, like someone's saying that Deuce is saying that that's what the deal is because I don't think that it has to do with that at all. Yeah, I don't, I think, I think it's, it's, it's all about the Greens is, is what it's about. Now, as Brian has reported on our boards, the tide has turned a little bit, at least things have slowed down. Auburn wanted him obviously, like if Auburn had its way, he already would have committed and, and, you know, flipped, and that would be a thing. They've extended their, their timeframe. Of course they have, because, you know, they found out that they couldn't put, like personally from everything that I've heard, I don't think that that's what this is about. Like an expectation of playing time. But as if, you know, as you have said, if he goes to Auburn, he's going to have to play right away. I don't think that's, that's for anybody. Right. You know, I just don't think that that's the way to go for him. Because as you, as you've said, and you know, sloppy Joe is kind of saying, deuce isn't expected to start until 2027. Like you said, Notre Dame has been out front with deuce night about the fact that, you know, they believe that there's still some development in order before he becomes a starter. And the fact that you do have CJ Carr in front of him potentially for a couple of years. And I don't, I don't think it's, I don't think any of this is, is about like what kind of playing time deuce night expects, right? Right. Agreed. I don't think that has anything to do with it now. USMA wants to know if Jesse's wager white board is going to return this season. We haven't talked specifically about it. I know Brian, you know, gave it the go ahead last year. So we can definitely, we can, we can look at it. It's like with Jesse, you know, we've just basically got to nail him down and say, look, do this every week. Because I think that there are other people who would just want the regular white board to come back. This is true. So this is true. Yeah. So that's one of the things that I think probably needs to be in this discussion. DCAF also wants to know when the season starts, will the show move back to the 6 p.m. Eastern time start. The shifting time had nothing to do with, you know, on season, off season, we, you know, we want to keep our, you know, our schedule as consistent as possible. So there are no plans to go back to six o'clock as a, you know, unless, unless a decision is made, you know, that's, that's outside of anything that we know right now, five o'clock is when we're going to keep it. So the only thing we really change, obviously is once the season starts, there are no Friday rapid fire shows and we're already in there, right, because we're doing our countdown to kick off stuff. The, you know, the game specific pregame, USMA 87 says both, you know, again, this will have to be addressed with Jesse, but he'll be back here tomorrow. So we can have that discussion, maybe a little bit tomorrow. Jesse's actually in the middle of, he's, he's got a job offer. Oh, no, really. Yeah. Local. Well, local to him still in the, and that's what I mean. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. But it's like guy who used to be his boss is at another firm now made him the offer. And so he's, you know, considering what he's going to do. Okay. So he's got a lot on his mind, a lot on his plate, as they say, right, okay, and fingers crossed. I haven't even asked him. Like, hopefully that doesn't mean anything changes. Oh, for us, yeah, right, because it's really, it's about us. It's about the show. That's, I mean, come on. At the end of the day, like, just be honest, Jonathan wants to know what our perfect football weather is, what is the worst or as a player. He says you are not required to have your quarterback receive snaps from the shotgun during a hurricane, um, no PTSD from, I'm assuming he's meeting as a player. You know, like what would be the perfect football conditions? I mean, for, I will talk as in, what's the perfect football conditions of a game that I want to go to fall 64, you know, sunny, dipped into the 50s by the end of the day. Yeah. A little like, crispness in the, a little bit, too much money and jeans type weather. And I think most players would be on board with that as well, right? Cause it's not going to be sweltering humidity or anything like that. It's also not going to be cold enough that you're going to have to wear long sleeves or anything, you know, the long sleeves would be great for those of us in the stands, but for players, they won't have to, you know, and so I think that's probably the sweet spot. Um, that, that's when that's the way, that's the way football is supposed to be played. I would concur with that wholeheartedly. I think that that's probably the perfect or, you know, like even starting the 50s and dip into the 40s every now and then, just so it's not too cold. Yeah. Yeah. Right. Get crispness in the air. Like fans are wearing sweatshirts. That kind of thing. I'm perfect. Huge hoodie and jeans fan, like that's, that's my sweet spot. That's what I love. The weather I love. So I'm all about that type of weather. So I have so many hoodies upstairs, like I'm like shelves just begging to be worn. So yeah, I'm ready. I'm ready for that time of year for sure. Yeah. In terms of the worst, like I would definitely say heavy rain, you know, just like that hurricane stuff like and wind, like wind with anything added to it. So like snow and wind, rain and wind, like wind really affects things. You know, obviously if you want to throw the ball, you're going to be in trouble. If you want to kick the ball, you're going to be in trouble, you know, that kind of stuff and it forces you to be one dimensional and therefore it also forces the defense to know that you're going to be one dimensional, right? And so that just doesn't make for great football, in my opinion, if you, if you can't really use a whole lot of strategy involved and and so any kind of high wind scenario with an added bonus of something, right? That's I think the worst possible conditions that you actually think a little bit of snow is actually perfect conditions as well, like I don't have a problem with a little bit of snow. Yeah, I don't have a problem with that. And as a kid, I love playing football in the snow, like, you know, falling into the snow banks and just tackling the crap out of each other and all that like that was fun. I just don't want the high winds with the snow. You know what I mean? Exactly. That's the kicker with the snow and around here, you tend to get the high winds 100% 100%. Mike says the army game could be cold. Of course that'll be mid what mid to late November. Don't say that around any media people because you will hear I guarantee you that game is going to be played at Yankee Stadium, of course, and it's an open air press box because it's a really it is did not know that yeah, but they did have I went there for the pinstripe bowl. Okay. Jesse actually came with me for that game and he took photos and stuff down on the field for us. But this is before I was here at IB, obviously, shocker Jesse has served a, you know, a work purpose in the past before he came to IB, but right. It was open. It was a decent day. I remember there was sunshine. It was a probably in the 40s or something like that, but there are, you know, they do have like, like heaters and stuff going on. Yeah. Like like heaters. Yeah. Yeah. In November is an open air press box. November is tough because you never know what you're going to get and that is a night game too. So you're not going to get the benefit of sun, you know, that kind of a deal. So it could potentially get pretty cold up there, but I'm not going. So I don't care at all. Sloppy Joe said the weather conditions, Notre Dame, Notre Dame had for the 2005 USC game. That was perfect. And I don't remember exactly what it was like. I remember it was jacket, sweatshirt, weather, probably because it was a good October and it was a night game. So at least it ended at night anyway. It is the most over-discussed aspect of this game. We will save that for rapid fire because it is queued up. Definitely have a comment on that. That's for sure. But I wanted to acknowledge the fact that it was there. Let's look. We'll be doing rapid fire here in just a few minutes, so we shall save that. There's a little teaser. It's going to come up. You're such a tease. We just did that one. Sorry. I forgot to un-start it. Andre says, do you really care about college football rankings or college football playoff rankings? Do you care at all? Well, you have to care about the CFP rankings because that's all that matters. I mean, the AP and the coaches, they're fun to talk about because there is no other ranking to discuss until the CFP rankings come out. Yeah, there's no games going on. But at the end of the day, once they start bringing out the CFP rankings, those are the only ones that matter. And they matter because if you're not in the top 11 or whatever, then you don't get to play for a championship. So I absolutely care about the CFP rankings because they actually dictate what you're going to be doing, where you're going bowling, if you're in the playoff, all of those different things. So I 100% care about CFP rankings, yes. I do too. I mean, it's better to be ranked than not be ranked, right? It's basically something to discuss and actually, this is going to kind of play into a rapid fire question. We've been showing his little playoff bracket that he's got. So this is going to play into something that we're going to kind of touch on in rapid fire as well. So but yeah, I mean, they matter and it's better to start high because I think as Joe was saying in last night's show, something he asked about, it gives you wiggle room up or down, it gives you wiggle room, the higher you start obvious. Oh, great point. Yeah. Great point. Notre Dame starting at seven, I think is a great starting point for them. Great. They literally hold their, you know, their destiny in their own hands, so to speak. Another one from Andre, do you believe that a loss for any college football team, particularly a power for school is a nail in the coffin for an impossible college football player? No, because I don't know that there's going to be any undefeated teams this year and 12 of them have to make it. So no, now if you said like three losses, maybe, but even then, even then you're still going to hear like there's a solid chance that Georgia loses three football games this year because their schedule is murderers row, right? They're still going to be talked about as a college football playoff team. They will be you what you watch a three lost Georgia team is going to have discussions about whether they belong in the college football playoff. One loss is not going to erase the chances of anyone making it into the college football playoff. Exactly. Exactly. Group of five teams. Well, remember, it's group of four as Andre is pointing out, but that that that increases the odds that you're going to have teams with multiple losses because of the fact that one conference collapsed and all those teams are in other conferences now. Basically just making all the other four conferences. I mean, like the group of four group of five, like, oh, you're saying group of five a loss for them. Group of five. Yeah. Yeah. For sure. They're going to have to be undefeated. Well, for the most part, right? They don't have to be because remember it's still a conference champion. Well, you don't have to be a conference champion. You just have to be the highest ranked group of five team, right? But the reality is, yeah, the reality is that group of five team is going to probably have to be undefeated to be ranked, that's what I'm saying. Well, it just depends on how many losses you get in there. I mean, like in theory, you can have a bunch of like, quote unquote, best group of fives with two losses. That's true. You know, that's a good point. It just because that group of five could be ranked sitting there somewhere around 25th, they could actually be unranked if they could be unranked. Yeah, although the college football playoff committee has found a way to kind of bring those group of fives into at least the tail end of the top 100% to justify 100% Yeah, 100%. I just think a loss for a group of five team is more devastating than a loss to a power four team is I'll leave it at that. Yeah. Marco, once you know, if we've heard of any interesting purchases, players have made with NIL money. I mean, outside of, you know, I don't know if they've actually bought the Lamborghinis or if they're just getting around campus, you know, from car dealers should not not hear it Notre Dame, but, you know, like, oh, yeah, there was that, I think it was it over the summer of the photo from down there at Texas or something like that, where there's like a parking lot full of Lamborghinis. The players are driving. I don't know if those are, you know, like leases from car dealerships or what, but yeah, so dumb. Yeah. Like, if that, I mean, is that the tipping point to make your guy make a guy go to that school? If it is, he's going there for all the wrong reasons Joseph wants to know our thoughts on the appointment of Anthony Trish, the new director of player analytics at Notre Dame. Interesting hire. I got to say, I don't know a lot about this guy. I know he worked at Pro Football Focus and a lot of his stuff has been analytics. Obviously, the fact that Notre Dame hired him means they think pretty highly of the work that he's done in the football analytics field and there's obviously analytics in every sport. It comes into play more than any of us really know. So I think it makes sense stay on the cutting edge. I mean, it's, it's where all sports is going. Sure. Again, I don't know anything specific about this guy other than he's done it for several years. So here's, you're going to hire someone to head up your right analytics, right? Here's how I look at it, okay? People are losing their crap over the higher of this guy. My question would be how does it hurt you, right? If I'm Marcus Freeman and I've got X amount of money to spend on a personnel, right? Why not bring in somebody that's going to crunch a bunch of numbers? You can take or leave the numbers that get crunched, right? I mean, it's just another data point that you can use in your decision making process. Like this guy isn't calling plays. This guy isn't recruiting. This guy is an, you know, and again, I don't know him specifically. He's an analytics nerd, like he's going to be in a corner office someplace with no windows and a computer screen crunching numbers like, okay, cool, man. Like I don't, that, that's fine. I have no problem with it. Like I said, it's another data point for Marcus Freeman to use when he's making decisions. That's it. And the other coaches for that matter, not just Marcus Freeman, the other coaches. It's just another piece of the puzzle. That's it. It's not a great, it's not a big deal, but it's also not a little deal because he's allowed to go out there and get people like this. So I think it's fine. It's cool. Okay. Cool. I concur. It's all in the numbers Vince. Yeah. I mean, look, I think it's, I think there's some important things you can, you can take away from analytics, but that can't be your only focus. So it's nice. Actually, it's funny, I was, I was listening to an interview that Matt Damon, he's got this new movie out, he and Casey Affleck, but I was listening to an interview with him. And he remembered like one of Tony Romo's first seasons, Romo was doing, you know, calling a game on CBS with Jim Nance, he was doing a Patriots game. Okay. It was like late in the game, the Patriots were winning and whoever the other team, the Patriots were playing, they were like, you know, down inside the 10 yard line. And all of a sudden, Tony Romo starts snickering and he's like chuckling and he's like, Oh, that, he's like, that's just dirty. And he's like, he said, he basically said that Bill Belichick was just rolling this defense out there in a, in a blowout game at the end of the game, putting a defense out there other than the, you know, whatever regular goal line set that he would show to throw off the analytics, so it's like, throw off everybody's analytics who's scouting their goals. And he's like, Oh, that's a good one. Yeah. [BLANK_AUDIO]
