G'day friends it's BlistyGuy and this is episode 1346 of Walk to Work mobile house stone podcast it's legend story time for what month we in August speaking which I should figure out the date and I always figured through this but here we go hang on first to go put the umbrella because it may not be raining much but it's raining a little bit and that's enough for me to have the umbrella up because you know I've got multiple electronic devices in my hand which I traditionally don't do great in the rain or I asked 15th of August that's good I thought was 16th for a second but it's not its 15th it's not even 16th anywhere else in the world so yes legend story time is 10th I did mention last episode that probably I guess we'd be doing this don't like counting chickens for the hatch because sometimes it doesn't come together right sometimes the wheels fall off for whatever reason and and you don't get legend when you expect it to but I was already Diamond 2 at last episode and I want I want to say it was a smooth ride to legend but it wasn't really it was a smooth ride to the first final boss but I lost the first final boss and then I lost the second final boss and it was the third final boss they got there thankfully I didn't lose two in a row usually because what happens is you get to diamond one and three stars and then if you win you get legend and if you lose you get to diamond one and two stars which means you have to win again to get to diamond one and three stars again and then win again to get legend which means you do need to rattle off two wins in a row to get legend ever except except if you have an 11 times multiplier I was just thinking about this just now I used to frequently having 11 times multiplier and then I don't know I guess I didn't try as hard or maybe other people played harder or maybe I think it was just probably just a normalization of my MMR over time I think having 11 times multiplier was an early on thing and after a while the game got more used to the idea that maybe my MMR was just a tad lower than 11 times multiplier when I hadn't 11 times multiplier you didn't have to win two in a row to get legend you could win one up to diamond one point three lose one down to diamond one point two and then win one and get two stars and then your legend just felt easy it still feels easy now it's interesting between diamond five and legend when you're having 11 times multiplier you get two stars per win and lose one for a loss so you can have a 30 I guess 34% win rate through there and you'll still get to legend which doesn't necessarily seem very fair but I don't know I think the idea is that if you haven't 11 times multiplier you're not supposed to be slumming it around in the diamond five to legend later they're trying to get you out of there and intelligent I mean you do get queued by your MMR that points us not like you're picking on other people but still they don't think you need you have to dwell there you can get there anyway and maybe some of the time what I was doing was that I was playing a lot of meme decks and that's how my MMR degraded I don't know but when I'm playing at a 10 times multiplier I noticed the competition is noticeably lighter as it were I don't want to say easier maybe I do maybe I actually I do want to say that it's easier the level of competition to the 11 times multiplier is higher now it's not I think it is that you are queued by the multiplier specifically not exactly your MMR but maybe it is kind I don't know like I think you're queued by MMR but it sort of relaxes and spreads out a little bit anyway when I was climbing or the 11 times multiply even though I was getting two stars for when the competition was a lot stiffer and these days when I'm planning the 10 times my pros just less stress as you can tell I've dropped mongers of school we're now crossing the motorway and it's raining so the the roads are wet so you can probably barely hear what I'm saying because I know I think the microphone does a pretty good job it's like old school video cameras were terrible at that kind of thing if there's a quiet sound in the distance they're like oh we better amplify that like I remember at my I was 2002-ish I think someone was filming a ceremony and nobody heard an airplane but the microphone sure didn't decided to amplify the airplane so the airplane drowned out the ceremony we're like I don't even remember they're being an airplane anyway I think microphones generally do a bit of job that kind of stuff these days they probably try to drown out the white noise that is the wet road anyway look easier climb in 10 times multiplier I have to I have to say the first final boss obviously we're not gonna recount that today it's always a bit spoilers isn't it recounting the final boss knowing what the outcome is doesn't seem great I could play a final boss that I didn't win but the first final boss that I didn't win was an over-heeled priest which is apparently quite a good dick it's I don't want to say toxic it's probably a bit difficult to play I would say too difficult for me to pull off well so I tend to stay away from it but my opponent I don't want to say they played well but they did win but at some point like early on I was like this is going well I think I'm gonna win this but at the point where they played the third Amunthul and they had a fourth one in hand thanks to a synchronization what's it called I can remember what it's called that the two mana pre-spels synchronized something had a fourth one hand I was like you know what maybe I'm not actually going to win this one after all and having multiple Amunthors and players like well it's okay like I can deal with two more Amunthors also like playing death night like a lot of my minions are small if they're just removing them with the Amunthul ability do I even care but when they had multiple Amunthors in play and they're like hey one of my Amunthors discovered me a fire setting son I'm gonna play it and then use these two Amunthors to give it was it to make a copy of it with plus two plus two and like you know the three fire the setting sons and the four Amunthors are going to be a little too much for me and I did lose that one but I remember that sinking feeling you know what maybe I'm not actually going to get legend with this game and it reminded me that for several months now my final boss has usually been the first one and it's like hmm see that's that's maybe a little relaxed more relaxed than it should be maybe I'm supposed to be battling at a higher MMR so that I actually have a harder time like I did this month but we got there in the end so what I should talk about before we get into the gameplay course is the deck list itself I talked briefly about it last episode it's not the traditional Razzle Dazzler listed everyone else is playing everyone has been playing a rainbow Razzle Dazzler well except Jambre obviously because I copied his idea and a few people have tried it what's interesting is that it may not actually just be better than the rainbow Razzle Dazzler I should say I've seen things like I can't look we played his list last episode watching him stream I mean also I don't necessarily get to watch him stream but I can see via donkey's website you know he's played the rainbow death knight to 12 and 2 or something and then you can see he's trying Jambre's version and he goes like three in two or something and then he changes back to the rainbow one is it because he just wanted to try it or is it because he tried it was like this is just not as good as rainbow it's entirely possible that it is it's not as good as rainbow just realize that my headphones I hope they're not banging on the mic well if there's extra noise we heard it but anyway they're out of the way now they're in my ears so hopefully they're not banging on the mic now so it's quite possible this version is not as good as the rainbow one so some of the the positives to running rainbow are that you get rainbow seamstress which gives you extra healing against aggro and things like that you to play threads of disloyalty which gives you lots of extra board clears against priority decks and you get runes of darkness or whatever the one minus shadow spellers that discovers a weapon like that can be quite effective now what I found when I was playing the rainbow version because I did play that first was that I wasn't I was winning enough but not a lot right and that I did end up facing a lot of mirror matches and runes of darkness is fine it's just that sometimes you find yourself going I don't actually have very many minions here I guess I'm making a weapon and that didn't feel very good and so when I saw a Jambre's version which takes out all the blood cards it adds in I need to look at the name of the spell keep forgetting what it's called the the the shadow spell that does plague damage oh why I remember we should do a patron thank you patreon.com/busguysporting the work that we do here is really helpful today we are thanking Madras lover who also lives in Sydney and also plays rumble with me he and I have cleared molten core a couple times good bloke really do appreciate their support never else's support to keep the wheels on this truck as it were with the truck analogy come from I don't know anyway here decklist right down with the ship that's what it's called the shadow spell that it's like unholy I think and it shuffles a couple of legs in and does three damage nothing spectacular about that but it's a shadow spell that you can run when you're not playing blood runes the shadow spells usually come from the blood runes so there's one of those Jambre also had a couple of brittle bone buccaneer which is a 2 minor 1 4 also in unholy when you play a minion with death rattle give it reborn which is a pretty sweet combo when you're already running miracle sasman has death rattle dread hound handler has death rattle harbinger for winter has death rattle and she'll fall on baron has death rattle so it's not that you haven't got enough of them but the curve and I did try it with brittle bones buccaneer to begin with the curve of just running out brittle bones buccaneer on turn two and one of the two drops on turn three didn't quite sound right the deck has a lot of two drops it and it's gonna happen to a lot like the best thing you can mulligan into is a miracle salesman because then it gives you something to play on turn one so it's not even like you want to say the miracle salesman to turn three after the brittle bones buccaneer but if you had brittle bones buccaneer maybe that would be the correct lay it didn't quite feel right anyway Zacho on vicious syndicate podcast talked about this car as well and said clearly this is not right I don't know maybe it is actually because most people I've seen trying the Jambre list are living it in there probably just try it out but my inclination was to cut it because I was like it doesn't feel right one thing I did want was a malted magma which is the shaman spell because we can't play threads of disloyalty a second malted magma is probably quite useful and it really did prove very useful now threads of disloyalty and multi-magma are clearly not the same thing and several times I was facing against a rainbow death night what would happen is they would use threads of disloyalty to clear a board I'd made now that's something they can do and not something I can do because I don't have it if I already use malted magma to clear a board it costs a lot of mana and be just doesn't even necessarily clear the whole board whereas threads of disloyalty often can so that was a downside but the upside of not running blood runes and getting to have marion manipulator is that you just have a heck of a lot of burst damage that sometimes people just can't deal with the malted magmas are technically face damage if you want them to be they do go face and marion manipulator if you don't remember this is the six mana five five I think it's a double frost rune now it used to be triple frost a double frost rune it says spend up to five corpses to deal two damage to a random enemy for each corpse spent so if you have five corpses it just does 10 damage like five lots of two if there's nothing in play it just goes face for 10 which is a heck of a lot of damage and what I found effective about this deck is even though I didn't have all those things that the blood runes were accounting for the extra healing the threads of disloyalty the the runes of darkness that stuff even though I didn't have any of that or a lysogor blade for that matter the legendary that gives you stuff plus one attack even though I didn't have that having marion manipulator just meant that I was winning games more it's like ah well we just play stuff you trade with a bunch of my stuff you pass to turn back on an empty board going ha ha I dealt with all these stuff and I like take 10 and they're like oh so the other thing that's noticeably absent in this list is corpse cool the traditional rainbow lists have a corpse cool just a single corpse cool which you know doesn't sound right because the spells obviously so good but having two of them because you know you often discover themselves you chew off all of your corpses for long I feel like cop school is one of those kinds that looks absolutely bonkers but turns out to not be as bonkers as it looks because the formats just more high-powered than you think often I would discover a corpse cool from frost strike and go yeah actually you know what this will do quite nicely right now but you don't actually play it that many times it's just an extra three face damage that adds up like if you're going you know your opponents clear the board and you go marin manipulated take 10 and they're down to like five or six then one corpse cool face next turn the other corpse cool face will probably finish them if they aren't the kind of class that can heal and if they are the kind of class you know you can probably also still get some extra damage in there anyway so this kind of stuff adds up so the the absence of the corpse cool seems quite noticeable the other thing I added over the brittle bones back in here other than the second malted magma was gorgon's own move because that's just such a cool card it's good it's effective at what it does it's almost like a second reservoir like you play the gorgon's own move as best as soon as you can and at some point you know they've cleared your board and you just like okay I got some good minions I like playing it on five because you know that fits with reservoir not because it fits with reservoir but because reservoir has shown that there are some pretty good drops on five right you can get doom guard you can get Leroy so it's quite effective on five cost minions don't necessarily like playing it on four cost minions because I could waste a turn maybe that's greedy but sometimes you get as high as eight nine ten minor and you just drop those and your opponents like oh I thought I had this one and then they don't so I don't know really effective overall I really enjoyed the deck I thought it was really good and obviously it worked quite well for me even though I lost a couple of final bosses it just felt very good and obviously the whole the meta of it the meta game of I'm trying to choose something it's a little bit different so people like my tweets which you know that's a little bit unhealthy isn't it that whole thing helps when I'm playing the non-rainbow version and I'm playing the genre version and the tweet has seen a fair amount of engagement so I guess it worked all right so the final boss that did work interestingly so I screen record obviously said that you can hear it and I forgot to stop screen recording so the actual clip I have is twice as long as it has a game of wild that I played afterwards with an Odin warrior deck that I've been tinkering with in wild and it's one of those games where I think I attacked them for like 60 at the last turn and it was at the risk of animation timing because like Risky Skipper is the one-man-of-one-three pirate whenever you play a minion deal one damage to all minions and in armorsmith there's a one-four for two that whenever a friendly minion takes damage gain one armor so you play Risky Skipper and then armor smith Risky Skipper does one damage to both your minions and their minions of course and because both Risky Skipper and the armor smith take damage you gain one armor for each if you then play the Raise of End Rockstar the one-man-of-one-three which is whenever you gain armor gain two more armor and armor smith now the Risky Skipper does three damage so one damage to each of those minions you gain one armor for each of those and then you gain two armor for each of the risk the Raise of End Rockstars and you can do this a lot right like so sometimes you're playing armor smith first then Risky Skipper and then a chain of minions including the Raise of End Rockstar and you gain a heck of a lot of armor well also clearing out some of the opponents board and if you've played Odin already you can just end up doing a heck of a lot of damage the problem is the Raise of End Rockstar's animation can take so long and they like come on face light up face I need my face to light up so that I know that I can deal some damage thankfully if you if you play the order in that armor smith comes first dealing a ping while you're Odin you will start to gain some attack so your face might be lit up yellow and then you play the Raise of End Rockstar if your face is still yellow you can drag it over their face and you know if a little skull comes up you know that you've generated enough attack through all the triggers but if you leave it long enough you start playing more minions then the yellow disappears from your face while the game processes all the animations and then like sometimes your rope can burn out for your attack I've definitely lost to that in previous months my rope burning out too far but I didn't in this one which is pretty funny but we're not going to watch that match because it was not a final boss in wild and I've played plenty of other decks since then a wild but it was still pretty funny so I had to hit it down the clip to just what we wanted so unmute open it up here's the final boss with frost frost unholy death knight let's just rotate the phone there it is okay hopefully we can hear the sound quite nicely tell us that this is the third final boss I wasn't terribly demoralized at this point or anything I've certainly been through worse with final bosses before I believe there was one month in wilds where I had eight final bosses I just realized I don't have my transit card handy I have got a hand I've got a handful of umbrella recording devices phone when we get to the train station probably still gonna be talking about this match it's gonna be difficult but I guess I can pause the phone and hopefully we'll be all right oh look what the oh I know what that was I was like why have I got no reminder coming up that's the reminder coming up in the evening for me to add the podcast while I was doing the final boss clearly my priority is straight right oops anyway I think I messed my opening hand let's just scroll back so I was offered two horizons edge a razzle dazzler and a natural talent so I had the coin and clearly all that's very expensive and it's not a miracle salesman or any two drops so I don't keep that ideally I want miracle salesman out in the hand but I don't throw away two drops because there's tons of those and I am definitely gonna want those on two and probably three I do tend to throw a chill fallen baron though our opponent was I don't remember but we'll see in a moment anyway I have a hard mulliganed everything all right opponents are druid reasonably positive match up but not always sometimes the druid just gets the heck and nuts and what can you do so what do we get back when we pause again no water on the screen pause buttons too far away there it is it's gonna be difficult okay so got back in our mehand a horn of winter a second horn of winter a dreadhound handler and a cup of magma if you coin something on turn one and then use horn of winter you don't refresh the coin moniker still so you'll only have one minor there so if I wanted to do that for some reason like you still got a way to turn to to do it but the horn of winter is really good this is the zero amount of frost spell I think it's frost frost for the runes yeah so regular reservoir doesn't play this and this is one of the reasons the deck functions so smoothly is that you just get to accelerate a bunch of stuff out early and your opponent's like oh oh oh no but anyway this hand is not going to do that I certainly have a dreadhound handler I could coin out on one or play on two but then I've got two horn of winters that don't do anything so that's feeling a little awkward I can't remember what the druid kept too late to scroll back they play cactus construct and turn one now cactus construct means not the typical ramp druid that I think we're used to seeing not the typical concierge druid we used to seeing it is potentially Reno druid I suspect oh my gosh I've just realized I've had I had several matchups this month that were actually really frustrating because they were Reno druids and like they were curving out you're like oh okay yeah you got your your split splash well you got yep you got it doesn't this measurement that's fine because you run two copies of each of those and then they play uh racestrazor and they get the the nesting you're like oh you're a Reno druid okay great so I lose because you high rolled the curve anyway so they're playing cactus construct and turn one would suggest maybe a Reno druid or a non-standard ramp druid and that gave them a relp a welp wrangler so that's the two amount of two three add a one two welp to your hand now it's only one one from the thing but it means that the dreadhound handler can rush into it and take it out but it's not well primed to take out another one following turn the card we drew this turn is a horizon's edge which is a fantastic location and does one doesn't this matchup at the very least now we can coin out horizon's the edge next turn hero power and then the horn of winter hero power to get lots of horizon's edge going so this played second welp wrangler giving themselves another um another weapon hand I just hero power and attack the dreadhound handler into the welp wrangler so that leaves me with just the one one with reborn doesn't feel particularly strong the card I drew this turn is natural talent by the way so i've got quite a awkward hand they come split splash welp on three curving them up to four i've just drawn risker who's currently at 16 months that's not going to help so we play the natural talent this is quite nice uh uh i just moused over the card i can't see it let's scroll back there oh manager so natural talent gives you a random spell and a random target makes them cost one less so the random spell is a rogue one called oh manager does two damage uh and if you combo'd you get a coin uh i don't have the coin or maybe i've used it already i don't remember why don't i have the coin anyway i don't see the coin in my hand maybe no i didn't have to go anyway look let's not worry about that i'm pretty sure i must have thrown the coin out at this point i paused the screenshot uh my buttons has popped up at the side to show that we are a touristing death knight uh but the o manager gives us two damage to the split splash welp for zero mana thanks to the natural talents uh and then that allows us to play the snake eyes which was our naga which is the uh three mana two four legendary death demon hunter naga that rolls two dice and you discover a spell of each of those costs and if you're all the same cost you get three cards which is nice did that once having natural talented into snake eyes boy so we own manager the split splash welp where's my coin did i use it in the last 10 i don't move it anyway oh we play snake eyes snake eyes rolls a two and a four so not a double from our four drop we take either buttons or a lysor go health i took buttons because like great value there and then the two drop we see corpse skull watcher of suns and brittle bones buccaneer and you think corpse skull but i took the watcher of the suns i believe we're watching it i did take the watcher of suns because i can play it for uh free this term why not free i can play or in a winter and play it i don't care about 4g it's going to have any payoff and it just gives me a whole respell and it's giving me a deputization aura now deputization aura has been nerfed so it's not very good it's now three mana give your leftmost minion plus one attack and lifesteal i played the snake eyes over on the left so i was like ah maybe i should have had the snake eyes somewhere in the middle in case i got deputization aura off the watcher of suns no i played snake eyes on the right watch the suns on the left so it doesn't really add up but the key thing here is that deputization aura is a holy spell that adds to the types that we can uh feed into razzle dazzler that we wouldn't normally get so it's a little bit greedy perhaps but we're facing a druid who's played cactus construct i think we want to be a bit greedy so we've got a buttons in hand that's the second buttons in our deck it's going to draw us a lot of cards we still have a molten magma we still have another horn of winter we have a rescuer if they happen to play unkiliacs we want rescuers to be able to steal that but it's not as easy as it sounds if an unkiliacs comes down around other minions you tend to go oh um it's going to be tough to line up stealing it if they can attack ah and the divine shield comes off a new attack with rescuer and it kills the unkiliacs it's kind of hard to steal it as easily as you'd like as well or as effectively as you'd like you certainly can't steal it without a dying once which is what you want to prevent if they're trying to hydration station which they're probably not but still anyway that was our third turn three mana we now have snake eyes a watcher of the sun and uh the little one one reborn hand and play the druids on 29 and they're about to have five mana soon because they're split-spesh welp they're playing take to the skies three of their five mana and a gift wrap welp which is a three two and a happy welp which is a split-spesh welp buff so it's a two three taunt and a three two split-spesh welp pretty good turn really we've drawn in turn four a marin manipulator which is nice that thing's big and we'll deal a lot of damage but of course they have a bunch of stuff on board the thing with marin manipulator dealing five lots of two damage is that stuff with odd health sometimes soaks up two damage for one health and that doesn't feel good so you like do i try and trade one drops into things to even up anyway it costs six mana we've got four mana so we can't play this turn let's see what we do i think we're going to play horizon's edge waiting to cross the lights as well yep horizon's edge the first use of it one on the split-spesh welp one on face two on the split-spesh welp seems pretty straightforward we horn of winter we hear a power and run our second our split-spesh welp into the sorry our goal into the welp we horizon's edge again two face one on the gift wrap welp great we trade our one one reborn into the gift wrap welp and then we get a horizon's edge again and go face before our minions so we put them down to 19 so we used horizon's edge three times that turn so there's nine damage randomly and we also got to use the horn of winter to hero power the horizon's edge horn of winter hero power play is something that this deck can do that the regular rainbow deck can't and it can't be overstated how strong that is to be able to play because horizon's edge costs four that's a lot right when you play it under use it you want to be able to use it again that turn for it to be truly very effective and a lot of times you can't just fine sometimes you can because you have minions and play that you can trade off but sometimes you can't but being able to horn of winter out of hero power really just makes it so much more effective sometimes you have a goal that you've summoned and you're like oh I can't trade it into anything it's gonna go face which means I don't get to reopen the horizon's edge this turn the goal will die at the end of turn and reopen it anyway so you will get to use it next turn instead of having to wait the whole turn for it to come off so anyway nice effective turn there we traded several things and we've still got a two four two three and narrow one one without reborn they're on 19 we still have deputization or in hand there's a desert nest matron so four five the consistency of which they've drawn their good dragon cards so far makes me think maybe they aren't Reno maybe they just have cactus construct in there to help them against agrodics entirely possible anyway desert nest matron as a four five so it's buffed by the take to the skies immediately refreshing some mana crystals so they've got six left let's see what it gives them another split splash well all right so not Reno so now let's push them up to seven mana they've got three mana left looks like they're pointing something to your snake eyes please don't be a swipe on goodness nope give fret well another three two and then they're here apparently to take out the one one so I mean helpfully that reopens our horizon's edge for us which we kind of knew would anyway so now we have five mana this turn it's a little bit awkward the three one hundred five amount of turns are awkward instead because so much of it is even cost which is partly why I wanted to put gorgon's armor in there just so it was a smooth way to spend the mana so we've got five mana this turn we've got a marimony pilator we can't play yet we've got a uh what's the thing called again deputisation aura that's three mana that's a good way to spend five some of five mana we've got malted magma that's a reasonable way to spend some of five mana but we're not even spending four of it and then wasting one mana I'm trying to maximize my hand but I can't and then we have something else we can play but I can't see our buttons of course the buttons that I discovered from the snake eyes buttons is not a particularly strong play right now buttons would be good if I still had some horns of winter in the deck because we have to draw you know three or four spells with buttons and then we use a horn of winter refreshing mana crystals and play one and it's quite strong but we've used two horn of winter so we can't do that again anyway we're drawing that I don't want to add a sticker to this video we're drawing natural talents let's see what I do this turn because they have a four five a four three and a three two over there we we have a two three and a two four so we're behind and what we have so we start with natural talents because it's a reasonable way to spend some of the mana oh that's right this one of the problems I have with depreciation or I've got the horizon's edge in between my two minions which is good if you're trying to prevent things getting cleaved but not so good if you're playing deputization or because the horizon's edge I don't think picks up the deputization or and I don't think it passes it down the line anyway the natural talents has given us a dry-scaled deputy that's the two mana two two the next spell you draw you get a second copy of and also a shooting star which is nice that's the mage one mana one spell does one damage to an enemy and the two neighbors well they have three enemies so that's going to work out for us so let's see what we do with this first we start with a malted magma dealing one damage to all enemies puts them to 18 then we can do a shooting star in the middle there that finishes off the gift wrap well leaves the splash splash throughout with one help then we use horizon's edge finishes off the splash throughout there's one damage to the the nature matron so we trade in our watch of the sun we go face the snake guys from the 15 and then we've got one durability left of the horizon's edge and I'm thinking about using it because that's three damage that could definitely go face but also if I play a minion maybe I want to use some of that damage on the minion so having a bit of a think we play the dry-scaled deputy because it's free I put it to the left of the horizon's edge so that we're not at least we can at least put the deputization or on something there's a swipe on the arsenic eyes and a summer flower child so that's a finale summer flower child so that's going to get them a couple of expensive cards and reduced their cost by one that's a little bit nasty against us it has left up a two-one dry-scaled deputy and they're on 15 and we've got one charge of a horizon's edge left so we're going to get some damage in there but uh don't know oh okay the video just closed because I'm struggling with the wet umbrella-y phone stuff so we're just swiping back through it it's also on mute again there's the swipe there's the sunflower child so they could if they're getting a fire-setting sun anytime soon we're going to struggle to keep up anyway what we're drawing this turn is a Gorgonzon we've got six mana I think we probably just want to jam marimony peeler that we have seven corpses uh so marimony peeler first hits the face once twice hits the summer flower child hits the face it's the summer flower child we couldn't have asked for a bit of spread three on face two on the sunflower child then we use the last charge of the horizon's edge which finishes the summer flower child goes face and we take them down to five so we now have a five five and a two one feeling pretty good about that we still also have two more cups of molten magma in hand i'm just going to hold the phone in this hand and get the transit card out of my pocket because we're about to go into the train station this is awkward or a wrong pocket wrong hand struggle street probably muffling the microphone right now so over there there it is problem with being cool and wearing jeans and sometimes it's hard to get things out of pockets all right i have the transit card in my hand so we've gotten down to five we have a five five and a two one they've got nine marimony's turn the real problem is that with summer flower child they've drawn two expensive cards and those expensive cards have you know a playable now at nine marimony because the summer flower child was finale so like if they have so i'm just going to put the umbrella down if they have inner they'll be able to play inner though oh my phone's locked oh no it's out of the photo we're going to have to find the game again what have i done what have i done into the four you struggling struggling holding everything as i missed everything up anyway strange thing is this sort of guy walking into the train station who looks like a lot like a friend of mine from years ago i don't think it's him because i believe he lives in the melton i haven't seen him for a long time but he did look a lot like him anyway so i have to find the game again the thing is is they have nine marimony's turn they've drawn two expensive cards reduced the cost by one we could be facing ear now we could be facing yogg we could be facing fighter setting sun we could be facing unkiliacs or even twin twin perfect ziliacs there's almost nothing good can come with the fact that they got all those cards okay let's scroll back through the game to where we're up to now that we're through the transit gates and coming up to the platform okay all right that's the swipe turn there's the summer flower child here's our marim napulator why is that no sound i unmuted it oh did i turn the volume down i did all right so during the turn they played a uh one of the welts in the relt bangles it's been buffed by a gift rat welp so it's a two three and then a one minor fighter setting sun that's not great for us okay head down the end of the train platform then revel back up okay and a fighter setting sun so then being on 10 doesn't mean very much the fire hasn't been buffed at least thankfully so it's only four health but still a fire with 12 health to begin with and four lie steel tech is just uh we don't want to deal with that here comes the fire they have their two three turn and then they're playing a proper master durian they've still got three cards left in hand and uh then a trot gem tosser so fire rushes into the marim napulator healing them for four uh and then leaves me with two one health minions and they play a trot gem tosser for nine so that takes out both my minions and doesn't damage to my face so we're feeling pretty counted at this point right so they're on nine and they have ten minx turn and they have a three two jog trim trot gem tosser the two six durian a four seven five and a two three well taunt we've got seven amount of this turn we have a buttons in hand we have a malted magma two cups of malted magma we have a deputization aura we have a gorgonsormu and we have two frost strikes now i'm pretty sure we do some shenanigans here with the rescue let's just watch so i'm thinking about this i'm like okay i'm spending seven mana i do want to kill some minions first so malted magma once that damages the trot gem tosser down to one health and everything else a little bit this last cup of malted magma finishes the think what we're thinking about it yep finishes the trot gem tosser now we've got three mana left with a frost strike on the well that kills there i see frozen over harbinger of winter and uh the the three mana excavates belt now i take harbinger of winter not noticing that i've already drawn two frost strike and two horn of winter so the harbinger of winter is just a three two i probably should have taken the three damage excavates bell but that's okay so now they just have a fire setting son and play and a puppet master durian and two cards in hand so i can attack my rescue into the fire setting son they heal again up to 11 because i took two from the mod magnet i steal the durian so that's nice i have the durian they've nothing they've got three cards in hand and ten mana they play marin the manager reduced by one so that's what they got from their uh some of our child shuffling three treasures in taking one let's face it's going to be the draw three there it is one dress one they draw three which is zero cost cards clearly a very good turn for them there's a zero mana take to the skies a zero amount of tolerance goblet so that's drawing card and filling their hand with it and then a cactus construct which i think came from the pile so i think they have a handful of cactus construct which is not spectacular but also there's a lot of value for me to get through and that's given them one one what's this thing called i can't mouse over it it's the little injured tovier thing which is like a two six with taunt for two mana and battle cry deal three damage to itself so it's just a one-one version of that and then they've played uh innovate another cactus construct and this one's got them a crazed alchemist so we're an eight mana turn we're just drawing a razzle dazzler and a second razzle dazzler because we have a puppet master durian and player uh and i think i just moused over it and saw how many types of it's not that many so we played deputisation or a first so that's a holy spell and now our razzle dazzler uh we play a frost strike on their taunt they're one one taunt shows me skeleton crew harrowing ox and horde of winter i think i take the horn of winter although i could have had a second x-gate spell at this point that would have been nice razzle dazzler nasa is five on it which means if i play this one mana razzle dazzler because i've only got three mana left uh my board will be full that seems good so we play the razzle now we first we hear a power and that allows us to trade into the one one crazed alchemist now we play the one mana razzle dazzler we've still got two mana left we want to use the horn of winter it gives us a leeroy jenkins a four three a five four another five four and a zero three mystery egg so that's not great but we go face for nine putting them to two uh and then we pass the turn so there on two we have a full board which is pretty good uh they have a whole heck of cards in hand though a lot of them are cactus construct so they play cactus construct created by tolland's goblet that summons them a oh i can't remember what everything's called but uh it didn't do very much didn't they conceded so the key thing there which was pretty fun was managing to steal the puppet master dorian and getting to use the puppet master dorian uh because it survived and so the turn after i draw uh a razzle dazzler which gives me a one mana razzle dazzler as well which means i got to play the deputization aura and a frost strike and a razzle dazzler for five in the one turn overall i roll rolled a lot on the minions having a couple of five fours i think you wanted about five five and stats really five drops so we're getting a couple five fours not great getting a zero three mystery egg that was definitely one of the low rolls i mentioned uh last episode uh and getting a four three well that's definitely not quite a low roll but it's well below parent stats and then a leeroy jenkins given they were on like or is it nine or something no they're on like 11 given they're on 11 getting a leeroy jenkins is pretty good uh the key thing here of course is that leeroy jenkins put them to two they have a bunch of capers constructs in hand we've already gotten through their fire they would need to have an anor which they didn't have but they couldn't even afford to anor and heal at this point because a couple of five fours and a four three while lower stats than you want from razzle dazzler it's still very strong they're still really good if there's a bunch of them to play in the opponent can only play say in our and heal to full at that point you're like okay well i trade some of my stuff i mean especially given i played a one-mana razzle dazzler right that tells me they have another razzle dazzler in hand they play an anor and heal to full i get to trade a five-four for the taunt i get to trade a couple of other things in for the anor itself so anor is now gone and then i just get to play another razzle dazzler once i've traded everything away they want to trade away like they're not in a good position so you can see why they can see it but anyway there was quite a slog there to get through that basically a ramp druid the cactus constructs were interesting i don't usually see them in ramp druid but i'm sure there are variants out there we'll have the inlet and it does help against agro-dex but it didn't really help against us i do think the marin minipia that was particularly strong there the blood stuff that you could get from rainbow deck night just doesn't do very much there we would be able to discover a weapon i guess uh we could have threads that disloyalted to clear their board sure but marin minipia later coming down on the summer flower childhood and look i was lucky i hit the summer flower child twice in their face three times so that horizons edge could finish them i could have used the horizons edge first but then what if two horizons edge beings hit the summer flower child doesn't feel very good so i went for it and the um and the uh the marin minipia later was just a crack shot uh six to the face it's exactly what we wanted and so there was a lot of damage and in the end the druid was under a lot of pressure so that even fire couldn't heal them out of the hole thanks to marin minipia later so that's why i was playing that version it just kept working for me except there's two final losses where it didn't but overall it was good anyway i should clearly sign off there's been a couple of trains here i'm a bit wet because of the rain my wall jump is a bit wet the microphone's even a bit wet that's a bit awkward but it has a little wind thing i hope the recording's going to be okay
