Get laced up. Let's go. It's time for banter with the boys Welcome back to banner with the boys gridiron updates Obviously, I'm spelled C and with me. I got a new face up here actually Rob let's just go ahead and introduce you immediately to our faithful following I am Rob I am joining this excited football season. It's finally here. I can't wait We're early August so we're gonna get a little preseason show going on for sure Obviously a vikes fan. Yes, sir been a Viking fan my whole life checks a box for me that house They will get along real nice but until we disagree about something Which I'm curious if we'll get into immediately this episode but before we even go any further into talking about the NFL and how Gridiron updates is gonna go for us this season. I'm good to go with that Let's head right into kind of our preseason preview And Starting off right away with the preseason preview Obviously, we're both Vikings fans So we have to start with the NFC North and we will be starting with our Vikings But the idea here is that we're kind of kind of go division by division Maybe mention a couple things about each team and then kind of give our Prediction on how they will finish in that division. We're not gonna get crazy with it unless you got crazy with it Yeah, you never know yet, so I'm not gonna say any records for the teams, but Yeah, let's just let's just head right into the vikes man to be honest. So what I don't know Just tell me your feelings right now. Well, it's got to be a good vibes coming off the draft is here We finally have possibly got our franchise quarterback. We did get some bad news today. We thought um meniscus terror Probably two to four weeks. They're maybe talking by the beginning this season. He might be back, but He's been a really nice addition and we also stole Dallas Turner late in the draft that was a steal which His dip and move around the corner I think he's gonna be a real threat with Brian floors his defenses here a great a great replacement for Daniel Hunter And honestly like I don't even know Daniele's hunter Daniele's numbers last year. Do you recall those off the top? You're noggin. Yeah, I feel like he was a little bit non-existent a little bit I think he was coming off a little bit of injury coming through a preseason like that He plays the opposite side that hunters so he's gonna be more of a blindside Russia where Daniele was more of a against the right tackle so he'll bring a little bit and we plus we got some new additions we got Green we got so many done defense where man idiots what the deal hundred sixteen and a half sacks. Oh well non-existent not I just shows you already are off to a hot start very hot start. I just I don't know I just felt like he wasn't as as In the play as he normally is but I mean at sixteen and a half sacks That's probably top five and then I felt I'd imagine true But I feel like I got a vibe from him like a lot of his sacks came in like not in the crunch times So like a lot of his 16 numbers where when we needed him at the end of the game to close out a game I felt like that's where he was slacking a little bit and either way you got to replace a guy like that Do we do and same with we lost DJ one of them as well? We didn't and he had eight sacks which was more than I also thought he had so I was actually hoping we keep DJ But what a replacement in Dallas Turner What about the rest of the draft? How do you feel about the rest of quasies draft? Well, we didn't have a second round. We got the guy from Oklahoma. The sadly was in a car accident here earlier in this year Was it Oregon? I thought it was Oregon Oregon's this hard. Yeah. Yeah, and so Jackson. Yeah, so rejection Rest in peace. I'm sorry to hear that so hope him and his family and everything are or you know recovering from that The wilts did come out and nugged Pay off the rest of his signing bonus. It was a nice time. Yeah, I didn't see that and then they ended up Paying for his whole funeral cost. So the Vikings organization really came through the clutch and that up in that moment there for the family so Depth on the corner back. That was one of the things that's you know really hurts. We did have Gilmore come in yesterday for a visit, but you did my mind. I didn't even hear that I know but he did leave without a contract. So that's got to scare you a little bit. Well, no offense to him But I does that we're really gonna send Duke Shelley out there like he did great for us a number years back, right? But he did I think I'm surrounded around for reason, right? I think you do if you're if you're around watching the banter you might as well hop on the show, but yeah, you totally can Yeah, I think he's more of that nickel. I mean we have happens on the outside with Horrible and the preseason and I like a psyche Yeah, and then we have still a buyer Murphy coming back and then she killed Griffin who has got a lower body injury Yeah, he didn't play preseason game in preseason right now. So and blackman is done for the year So but we still got bynum and Smith on the back side for a good experience you have Martillis Running around silly - I like him our line backers. We got some upgrades from What's his last name? I'm a fan ginkle ban ginkle and green Grinnard, so yeah, I gotta learn all these new defense in a hard yeah So on that side of the ball with brian flores in his unique place calling It'll should be interesting. I'm glad he's sticking he's sticking with us I thought he might have had one head coaching job, but I can't remember if he did or not But yeah, I thought he had one and he decided to stay but I could be I could be making that up to make myself feel better But yeah, I do love having brian for us here. Yeah, and then on the offensive side I mean adding and Aaron Jones to our the running game with To replace from Alexander Madison, which is a huge upgrade. I don't remember the amount of fumbles that he had in Crucial to me early on yeah, early on I thought he was gonna be money and the great replacement for Dalvin because he was a great one - To Dalvin and you know kind of this thunder and lightning as our host from last season Tyler would like to mention thunder and lightning. I mean it's great I don't know is that called an analogy? Yeah great analogy way to break it out there. It's healthy Yeah, yeah breaking it down, but I don't want to spend too much longer in the Vikings We got a lot of teams. We want to we want to actually discuss I do just want to ask you one more question Sam Darnold obviously you mentioned JJ McCarthy going down with the meniscus But how do you actually feel about Sam Darnold? I coach with a guy that told me he's gonna be top ten quarterback this year I disagree, but it's close. It's close. I mean I would definitely say top 15 with just the weapons we have with you know Jefferson on the outside. You got second-year Addison coming back JJ Hopkinson is Who we don't have for like six weeks. It's coming off the knee injury So I think he's on the public for four weeks So that's gonna be a little bit of to replacement So but I'm excited with enough weapons of nailer Powell I love nailer. I hope he gets a shot. I really hope he finally gets a shot Be the number three and see what happens. Yeah, then on the office is the line We saw resigned our their self for extension God and only on best left tackle in the game Exactly. So our outside is the two tackles are all pro level fish on the inside with Bradbury He's he's had a little trouble last year against those big tackles. They're really pushed him back He was up and down last year the year before was bad the year before that was great, right? Yeah, I'd say last year was at least better than the year He had before but I agree with you. He still kind of struggles with those bigger boys Yeah, I agree with that and then on that because we run more of like that zone running game, too So his athletic ability helps in it, but in that the pass pro is that's where I think PFF would really Right down yeah down to a different level. So um so I don't know Do we want to wait till we go through every team in the division and then give where they're going to finish? Or do we just want to say where they're going to finish in the division when we're done rapping them? I we could go either way with I think we just go through the division will kind of break down where we think the records will fill in after that if that works For you sure sure so we'll just move right along all right move. Let's move to the Packers Oh the packer we're gonna have Packer fans at least one. There's another guy That's a half Packer fans home all while also being a Ravens fan He'll probably light me up for that when he finally joins our show as a guest, but the Packers man Jordan Love I Mean signed a big deal. He is on a big deal. So Is it gonna be worth it have you seen enough from Jordan love that you would give him that deal? If he was if he was a Viking, I think they were forced kind of their hand on that So they signed him a two-year deal on a restructure prior to that and after the beginning of the year It looked like maybe that was the right call to do a two-year, but that's second half He absolutely was on fire. He was from Watson to Romeo Dowell and read and they I'm over Christian Watson. You're over Christian Watson. You think I like Jane Reid. Okay. I like Jane Reid I like Romeo Dobbs, but I like Jane Reid I don't know man How many how many games did? Watson even play last year. I think it was about 90 played That's what I'm talking about and then the year before I think was 12. So this is coming on us third year So he hasn't had a full 17 games Which is always a concern For any player really. Yeah, no, especially your number one slotted receiver Do you think he's a true number one? I know that was a conversation we had last year, but you're new. So I want in your opinion I think he's a solid too. Yeah, I don't think he he's more of that downfield threat versus that possession Third down we need four yards for sure. He's for sure a solid downfield threat. He's just got to get a little bit more of that separation He just yeah, I don't know. I don't know he did play nine games last year good call in the year before that 14 So our team hopefully we see Progress in that in that sense, right? Anything you want to mention about the Packers defense? They lost a little bit on on on the defensive side, but they've been I think they're overall Talent on that side of the ball is gonna be least in the middle of the NFL for defensive So and with the amount of points the offense can possibly put up. I Don't know how good that defense really needs to be so It's all on Jordan loves, you know, shoulders whether he's that second half player or is he that first half player? That we saw last year. So for sure, but if they have Three Hall of Fame and quarterbacks in a row, it's gonna be gotta be doing something right For a while and now yeah, like you said the second half. I don't know. I don't know I think then I've seen North is gonna be tough. It's gonna be very tough and with that Let's let's head and Detroit head into Detroit who won the division last year So if we have any Detroit fans that are actually watching us, they're probably upset that we're waiting until third Detroit, but They're for real. They're for real. I think they could win the division again if I'm being honest, but I Have a projector probably went in because their offensive line is probably the one of the best in the NFL So with that running game between Montgomery and second year now Gibbs running that crazy injury today Yeah, oh, did he get a hamstring? Yeah, I think I don't know if it was today, but I was recently But I think I think he'll be ready for a week one, but yeah But the ones you can run the ball and play action that opens it up for all the receivers. They have and raw I'm and raw is Williams still there Jameson Jameson. Yeah, because the Vikings gave it to him. Yeah. Oh, yeah, and the draft and then he's then you got LaPord out You know man just I'm missing TJ Hawkins. No, not at all honest with you. LaPord is great Yeah, I mean he's came in cheaper as a rookie contract to so sure um and then on the defense aside of the ball they didn't really lose anybody and as a football fan you got to really like what Dan Campbell's doing up there I like his style play his attitude his approach to the game He's just kind of one of the boys that you know You'd want to have a couple beers with and talk football So he definitely has that that vibe to him doesn't it? Yeah, he does Dan Campbell Let's let's head to Chicago with the Bears Obviously the biggest story with Chicago has got to be Caleb Williams other than Just I feel like there's always drama surrounding the Bears the last couple seasons of some sort right? They had they're trying to figure out if they're gonna Stay in downtown Chicago with their stadium next next to the river there whatever like Lake. Sorry Lake. Yeah Before the Chicago faithful kill me but They were talking about moving the stadium and like some suburb or whatever Now obviously drafting Caleb Williams that comes with at least a little bit of baggage whether you want to admit that or not There's some sort of baggage there. You know what I mean? Just You know we bit right so what was your first did you watch happened to catch any of Caleb's first game? Yeah, I watch is the first quarter of him I watch them play at USC a few times last year and the last six games He just didn't look like the number one overall draft pick even though he has a skill sets there He got a little happy with his feet I felt like a lot and tried to extend plays which you know in the NFL everyone's a little bit faster The windows are a little bit tighter. So it'll be seen at a just man He made a couple really decent throws in the first preseason game and he's got the skill set with those feet Well, that's you mentioned the feet and I liked some of his pocket presence You know you could feel that pressure a little bit I mean the dude's got a freaking cannon. Yeah, he does And I mean I don't want to say I have a problem with his attitude to be a professional. I never was New slash new slash but like to be a professional. You got to be a little bit cocky and humble at the same time He just seems like he trends a little bit more in the cockiness side Does that would that bother you at all? There's should that bother the Bears? Obviously they took him, but does that bother you at all? Do you think it'll just be an adjustment period and then it'll kind of go away a little bit or I think it's all about what the Guys in the locker room think of them at the end of the day if they want to be behind them and you know Going through the proverbial brick wall for a guy I think that leadership skills is there and they also don't forget. They got had the ninth pick with Romeo Dobbs, too So that's been a real nice addition Not dogs, but I can't I can't even say his name. I don't want to butcher it. Let's go Rome Let's Rome the receiver out of Washington. Yeah, and that they paired him up with DJ Moore who's became over there on the from the Panthers deal And then also they sign Keaton Allen and I'm a big Chargers fan and if you guys listened last year as well So I sucked. Yeah addition to go to the north. Yeah, so addition with him. It's that was a really nice And then they also he got something left on the tank Oh, he does and if you guys are watching it all on Amazon, they they're doing the Hard knocks pre-seo I was checking out all this last night So I think they got pretty good vibes going on and that's in that Chicago area now So if I was a Bears fan, I'm I'm feeling pretty good about where you're at. You feel like there's a future now I see a lot of memes at Bears fans feel awesome for the first like six seven weeks of the season Mm-hmm and then like everybody's wives get their man back because the bears are Like crapping out again. Yeah, so and they also picked up a swift isn't the running back. Thanks. So I think that was nice Yeah, it was nice. I think they missed David Montgomery, but I think that's nice. Yeah, so I think that in that aspect they On the offensive side, we'll see it's that the growing pains of a rookie quarterback It's it's seeing the window of believing in yourself and making the throw versus hesitating and that's typically what I'll get in trouble. So This north is a tough that's what I'm saying. I think this north is gonna be a lot tougher division Than we've seen in the past couple years. I think the bears are gonna be much more competitive. They finish the season fairly strong, you know So where who's winning the north for you? Right now I have the Lions first second Vikings third Packers Fourth Bears, but I think the between the bottom three They're all gonna be in the 500 range from nine to seven Well nine and eight to eight nine in there and I'm probably predicting the Lions about 11 and six record radio the likes like right behind them at 10 Yeah, I was a thing nine and eight actually I think it's it's gonna be a tight for scheduling the first half is But it's it's gonna it's gonna be a tight division I think they're gonna beat up on each other a little bit and like any NFL sport your best abilities your availability Not not to be a Debbie Downer, but I'm gonna go Lions Packers actually I hate to do it Vikings and then bears no offense the bears I think they're gonna have a much better season, but I think it's stepping stones for the bears. They're gonna progressively get better Hopefully the Vikings don't progressively go backwards I think it will be a tough season for the Vikings if the Packers beat the Vikings and the standings I think it'd be by win. Maybe two. I think it'd be close. Yeah, it's pretty rare for a rookie quarterback to come into the NFL and Have above 500 CG Strauss one of the first in a long time that's had, you know a really productive Rookie season like that. So it'll be interesting to see how he plays Love plays and then the only thing on the Detroit is Jared golf. Do you trust him enough? To be that next step kind of guy Last year after are they get do they have the deep run, you know, are they better than the 49ers? Are they better than the Eagle that's see those are all different conversations? I don't think they're better than 49ers, but We have to move on have to move on we're already a little bit behind because obviously we love the NFC North We think it's gonna be very close and the Vikings playing the NFC North. Welcome to the Viking show NFC East, let's not spend too much time on these but New York Giants What's what are they looking like this year? They lost Barkley. They drafted a Malik neighbors from LSU and He looks like a dog like he was probably one. I mean, who's the one throwing hands in practice though, right? Yeah, he's got a little bit of attitude. Yeah, but next to Marvin Harrison junior coming out I thought he was those two are like one and two in my book for top receivers than rookies, so I Think that's gonna help on losing Barkley. He's gonna big loss for them Are we gonna see anything that we don't already know from Daniel Jones? That's the part Danny Dimes Danny Dimes is he the quarterback against the Vikings in the playoffs or is he? Exactly how he was last game. I hear they came. Yeah, it was very tough, but that game Paid him, so he got paid hard So I did watch a little bit of the hard knocks preseason of the Giants and they they debated back and forth a little bit I'm whether they wanted to move up for one of the top three quarterbacks You did get that feeling that they were thinking about it Yeah, and I think if the Patriots weren't so dedicated on and needing a quarterback that We might have seen they would have made a move You know whether it was them or the Vikings are probably one of the top Two leggings want to drink me allegedly. I kind of want to drink me, too. Oh god. That's another we'll table that We'll table that we'll bring that up Yeah defensively. I don't know The tackles and football there yay other than the commanders in the division. I think They're they're worse defensively than the Eagles and Cowboys both like I don't I don't know I would agree with you there Yeah, and what did they end up finishing last year the Giants they were As you bring that up, I can't remember I cuz it was definitely ran by the Eagles and Cowboys Yeah, America's team America's team America. You know why they were called America's team Because everybody could watch them on Thanksgiving I mean pretty much it was because they were the most like available team to watch on TV I don't don't absolutely the years I wasn't around but that is why they were called, you know, America's why they were They're the most they're the most televised at the time So let me just pull up their Record real quick. So yeah the Giants were six and 11. I Could see a repeat. So yeah, I would see them finishing it there I'll give them seven ones and we could move on to the commanders that they were the bottom dwellers But they draft Jaden Daniels He looks like a legit NFL. He's poised ready to go He's so accurate. He's like you watching any of his tape His accuracy Might have been the best out of all the quarterbacks in the draft this year I wouldn't have minded him coming to the bikes to be honest with you. I think like Drake May would have fit You know KOC scheme better, but again, I'm going down a rabbit hole that we cannot go down How do you feel about the hiring of Dan Quinn? So that's the tough part though. You draft a quarterback on a high like that and then you have a defensive quarterback these have a coach come in and if you look at past you know court scenarios like that where a Brand-new quarterback is with a defensive minded head coach They typically don't do very well and you get starting in scenarios where you got like a Sam Donald who was in a bad situation with the coach of those defensive to that just nothing really fit and nothing really worked out for him so It's a matchup to to keep an eye on because it does matter to have a good head coach with a good Quarterback. I mean that matchup matters bill Belichick Tom Brady. I mean Andy Reid Patrick Mahomes You know that that relationship matters Yeah, so I think that is a great point to bring up and the cranners are probably one of the worst defenses in the NFL Yeah, we don't even yeah, you know, they're gonna be struggling if they're not putting up 30 plus points. They're gonna be struggling for wins. I in my opinion, so Let's just let's just head. I hate this team. I actually hate both of these next teams. So we need to get Oh, they're pretty up there. We need to find a fan of both that have them on But let's talk about Philly first I Think they will that will have a little bounce back season this year I I still like Jalen Hertz as a quarterback personally I do with their weapons and stuff. They started off where they ate in one. I think it's they're really hot to start and then they just fell off their second there he got in a lot of injuries and they just couldn't stop anything and They were just trailing behind and I feel like that's when Jalen had to start Force in the ball a little bit downfield. I also don't think he was healthy. No, I think he was to me I remember saying it. I think he was dealing with a knee injury almost all season It just seemed like he wasn't a hundred percent at any point in the season like something happened early on But I kept playing week two. I think that's why I think that's what he might have done I mean like I think something was wrong, and he just was still playing through something But I think we'll see a better Jalen Hertz. I think the defense is gonna be rejuvenated You know, I mean every team is rejuvenated. Yeah, everybody's for the most part healthy right now There's definitely some some injuries out there, but they got Barkley now So that it's in addition to their own running their RPO is it's gonna be really interesting I would still like to see the least barcode get in 20 carries or twice touches, you know You have to you have to you have to or at least if you're not getting 20 carries, you know Maybe it's like 13 15 and then you got him out and five pass players I'm just get the ball in his hands. He can make plays in the open field He can you just got to get the ball in the jail. It's not a dumb down kind of quarterback He likes to throw it out there out, so like or he's pulling it himself. That is true. No But yeah, he needs a least he 20 touches to take the pressure off of you know Him throwing to the ball for sure and I would imagine that's why they brought him in but I Don't know it's not like swift was that horrible either. I Think Barkley's an upgrade though for sure. That's enough great But if you think about it the upgrade of like is their offensive mind gonna change between Barkley and Swift Are they gonna still only I don't think it was only gonna only see in at 10 12 times? Maybe 15, but that's what I mean. I think it could be similar though You might just get a couple more. Maybe another yard or two out of it But I think they're still gonna try to use Barkley in their passion to and they still got one of the best lines even lose in Jason Kelsey Is a big loss for them in the center of their line, but they still got tackles Lane Johnson and stuff like that that There we go They're secondary is a thing that that they really needed to change up and be better than the word last year for sure Let's talk about the Cowboys America's team America's team Just you just go for you look like you had something you wanted to say right off the rip Well, let's say that I mean they have with back. I always feel like they're gonna be competitive I'm worried about their running game a little bit and then whether they side CD lamb if it's if They spent a few weeks have been a contract issues with him What do you what do you think about that situation like if if You know it drags on and on and on who does that wear on more the organization or the player or well I mean it both you know where they started, you know, you know burning bridges between each other Hm related sure and then I mean received their typical divas Anyways, so like that point, right? If you can't feed their egos at all next thing, you know, they want out I I do like that though. I do I think Eventually, I want to say he's gonna get over that playoff hump. I really do but I just He keeps proving me wrong. So he but Jerry came out yesterday and said some nice things about CD lamb So I think that they're they're trying to you know Rebuild that bridge in communication. What did he say? He just said that look he had some comments It wasn't a hurry, but then yesterday account We're not in a hurry to get you into pre-season We're but we do miss you and we're in a while you for a week one So he kind of for week one not 2025 or yeah, you know, so interesting so old Jerry But I have a feeling Dallas isn't a slide a little bit if I were start going to the predictions a little Yeah, go for it. What's your predictions for these? I'm definitely I'm gonna go in the Eagles first and then I want to see Dallas is gonna finish there then I'm gonna go Giants and commanders But I can see Dallas more of a 9 and 8 team versus a 11 and 16 they were 12 and 5 last year Mike a person's on the defense side has just been a threat and if they can That'll be the one determining is their defense see and I I agree with the bottom two hundred percent But I'm flipping the other two. I think the Cowboys win the division. Okay. I think them losing What's his name here? I was gonna bring him up later Samuel Williams to an ACL. He's a right-end He's kind of a key rotational player with Mike a Parsons and Demarcus Lawrence, but so I think that's kind of an L You got to have that key rotation guy but defensively God forbid mica goes down or something, you know, key part of that defense, but I just Decks so good in the regular season that offense is so good in the regular season I if they played the Vikings today the Vikings aren't winning true, you know what I mean I would probably agree to you there, but who's gonna be their right back? That is a problem You know that it's gone now, and they brought back Zeke Yeah, the reports come out a great red zone back I was yes, but the reports out of camp is that he barely got anything left in the tank. Really? Yeah, you know, I think there's a pretty signing is well. I think as well that they had to sign somebody But Paul are leaving and they didn't have a number one back. They had to go with somebody. He's on top of the depth chart You can't you can't roll in the season with just Zeke that I'd look for Dallas to make some sort of move I don't know what that'll be, but I'd look for them to make a move. Let's move on Obviously we're spending way too much time here, but we just want you to know we love football as much as you guys do What's our next division here NFC South? Rob let's start with Sort of the Saints who that nation who would add nation. Oh, I'd love to see a game there by the way This is a tough to not like I think this probably The worst division in the NFC overall is that I don't I don't feel like there's a team that's coming out of there That is a true Super Bowl contender, even with the Falcons getting Kirk cousins Excuse me, and they're um they're on the weapons that they have I see them coming out of this division as the winners, but overall Saints car He's a solid player Khmera's starting to get a little long on the tooth Chris Alave is still a real treasure. Mm-hmm, so We'll see what side on the defensive side I think that you know, they're starting to get a little older in the tooth there Some of those cam Georgians and stuff like that. Yeah, it's starting to get a little bit older. Yep. So in his 30s Yeah, so we'll see with me too soon. Yeah, so she's how they how they come around with that How's your feelings on them on the Saints? I they a lot work to do. They got a lot of work to do I kind of like what you said. They're kind of aging a little bit on the defensive side of the ball But I don't think they're cars the guy. I think he keeps proving that I don't know. I'm not feeling that confident. Where did um Is his cars back up still uh Jamis Winston or did he go somewhere else? Oh Jamis has been Cleveland. That's right. Yeah, that's right Okay, I wish Jamis would have stayed in New Orleans I think he would have had well, we'll get to Cleveland I think James could have a chance there too at some point But I think he would have had a better chance to start this season in New Orleans I think at some point car could get the hook. Yeah, to be honest with you. I know I think they definitely are not gonna have a great season Yeah, I'm I'm not too high on them. And then like the next team on it is the let's say the Panthers. Yeah, just go for it They finished two and fifteen last year Bryce Young Didn't have a great rookie year. We got a fly through these things AFC South Jacksonville Jaguars Over this is such a tough division Another yeah, another tough division other than the Titans I mean the Jaguars have been slowly over the last few years. I think they made the playoffs last year too. Yeah, so another year for What do we want to call the long-haired beautiful Trevor Lawrence each to have some sunshine sunshine is it? Remember the Titan's all sunshine So yeah, they have a I mean that whole division is gonna be super tight I think the Titans will might be on the bottom of it, but I like jaguars Who do you feel like on the jaguars? Do you think they're gonna above nine wins then? No, no, no, I think they're gonna be right at nine. What did they go left? 9 and 8 no 9 and 8. Okay. Yeah, I think they're gonna be right at 9 again to be honest with you I think get the games against Houston and Indianapolis are gonna be tough I think with a healthy Anthony Richardson the culture needs a little bit tougher this year And again another defense that's kind of under the radar a little bit for me the Colts, but They are that's what kept them in most of the games I worry is this if if Richardson depends on his leg so much and not being able to protect himself because he took some really Yeah, let's talk about the Colts. I think they're on the rise And the Titans are just gonna be bomb dwellers for now for now AFC West Super Bowl champs I just looking at the team names right and knowing the history and blah blah blah like you just want to think that It's gonna be a competitive division And once again, I really don't think it's gonna be that competitive We might as well just start with the Chiefs. I'm still at the helm They have they have enough talent around him Defensively, they're good enough and they put enough points up that they're gonna be in every game They were foreign to in the division So and I feel like the rest of the division really didn't gain enough to challenge them. I again I don't think everybody else in the division really did anything extra knowledge their chances the Chargers went out and got The head coach Harbaugh, I think that's I think that was a W for them, but other than that they didn't do much Denver Vegas I think it's the same old story for them as well. Yeah Denver the I mean Bo Nix is probably gonna start. That's another rookie They do have an offensive minor coach and Sean Payton. So it'll be interesting and now he's got his quarterback that he got to pick So yep, so in a way. Yeah, they still have Portland Sutton Noah found but they lost Judy Judy. Yep, and they still just have some defensive players on that side Patrick Satain in the second is might be one of the top corners in the whole league, so Yeah, he's got to be top three. He's got to be top three right now his length and speed and feet You know if you listen any of wide receivers talk about the toughest guys So and then Vegas their quarterback scenario does not I'm not a big fan of and they also drafted a tight end from Georgia Bowers I like him. Yeah, I do like him a big body kid. He's a big guy, you know, so there's some weapons there But yeah, but I just I just don't see them taking the next leap out of you know Above the 500 record that they kind of were last year. Did you watch the receiver show? I did yeah I kind of want to volunteer out of there. Yeah, just jets. Yeah, just I just want them out Yes, do it. Just do it fine to get it over with we know we know We were for so long like you might as well if they start off hole in three on four I mean, that's gonna be the conversation a lot out of Vegas might as well and who yeah, who else might as well With him Garrett Wilson and who else is there again? Oh, yeah What is your prediction for the AFC West we're going Chiefs and then I hard one Uh, I think of the Chargers in a slide up to second. I think I think our bow is is eating and changing that culture there Yeah, they got a ton of defensive players. They drafted alt tackle. Yeah, I think they're in a rock ball and I loved that And then I'm gonna go broncos Two years into Peyton Avenue all his team and then I'd say the Raiders sliding. I I don't see them improving much Do the Raiders still have the same coach at the end of the year and blanking on his name here? Yeah, do they do you think he makes it Into next season they give him a chance and an opportunity to help build the build the team or do you think he's got a short leash? I think I think he has a shorter leash. I think that depends off competitive They are in games that they start getting blown out. I think that that seats it real hot real quick You know for sure It's like he was the intern last year and I think they just rolled the dice and said all right We like where you're starting here, but I don't know if he has the talent on his team to help him for sure for sure um With that my predictions are also the same canada city chargers denver vegas. I was reading some draft reports and I guess A lot of people are saying he doesn't hit the hole fast, you know, he's got he's a little more timid to hit the hole Which and then I fell he just can't happen Right. Well, you see he just got to have that first three steps because like levi on bell was this type of guy He just kind of analyzed and picked a hole then went, you know, yeah, yeah But you got to add that next level speed to uh, you know, otherwise you're just gonna get small Well, and you see it with like with with like cmc, you know, he gets through the hole Oh my god. So our episode will be dropping that thursday on the fifth Um, so look look to that we'll be previewing those five games. I think that thursday night game is even one of them So definitely got to check it out.
