Two announcements from Perry Spencer Funeral Homes. Arrangements for Lois Dalton Hirston, 89 of Madison, are incomplete in Madison. Really viewing for Leon Leakey Watson Moore is tomorrow 2-7-30 in Madison. The family will receive friends Saturday at 1-30 at Rock Hill Baptist Church with a celebration of life at 2, internment in the church cemetery. Funeral services for Alvin Wayne Taylor, 78, are Saturday at 2 at Fair Funeral Home, with visitation at 1, graveside services and burial at Martin Willis Haley Family Cemetery in Axton. He was born in Rockingham County, was a graduate of Moorehead High School class of 1963, worked at Pillotects as an industrial engineer for almost 40 years until retiring in 2003. He completed numerous college courses at Rowan Cabarras Community College, and served in the roles of Elder Deacon and Treasurer at Holly Hills Christian Church in Eden, Northside Christian Church in Columbus, Georgia, and Rowan Christian Church in Salisbury, and faithfully attended online church following Ed Balsman Evangelistic Association, in Touch Ministries, and World Outreach Church. Surviving our sons, Brian Michael Taylor and girlfriend Charlene Vogler of Salisbury, Gerald Jerry Wayne Taylor of Eden, brother Edward Ed Ray Taylor and Janie of Southern Pines, two grandchildren, one great-grandchildren, and his pets. He was preceded in death by former wife Mary Jane Rutledge. [BLANK_AUDIO]
