In our busy lives, it's easy to forget the importance of taking a break. That's why National Relaxation Day is such a great idea. Did you know that frequent relaxation can reduce stress, improve your mood and even boost your immune system? Whether it's a leisurely walk in the park, reading your favorite book, are simply taking a few deep breaths. Today is about finding those peaceful moments. So take some time to relax and recharge. Your mind and your body will thank you. So give me some sounds of relaxation. Ooh. I'm picking more of like, you know, a waterfall. What else would you... Meditate yourself. Yeah. Yeah. Meditation sounds. Yeah. I can appreciate it. Get it to the spot so if we could wrap this up. Oh, okay. Well, I'm just thinking like this, that is that a sound for relaxation? This is awkward. It shouldn't leave me props. Please don't. As we ease into relaxation, let's not forget that August is also a national back to school month. Ooh, that's where this comes in. This is an excitement and preparation for students, parents, and teachers alike. From shopping for school supplies to setting new routines, getting ready for the academic year involves a lot of planning. It's also a great time to set goals and foster a positive mindset for learning. So whether you're heading back to the classroom or supporting someone who is, embrace the spirit of a fresh start and the opportunities that come with it. This is probably the busiest month for me of the year. Just because of all the shopping and things? Yes, and preparation, and oh my gosh, it's non-stop. Is your daughter like getting ready for school? She does. She loves the shopping part, and then she's always excited before the first day, and the first week is always super active, and oh man, it's a lot. But that's also why I am relaxing today. That's a great plan. Well, I'm going to get ready to head to the spa. Here you go. I'm with my Johnson. Hello, Anderson. Thank you for joining us on our journey to celebrate every day. And join us for all of our adventures on Facebook and Instagram at Destination Celebration Show. Until next time, keep celebrating. Oh, I'm sorry, I was relaxing there just a moment. Okay, let's get back to the program. And I have the birthday club for the 15th, Roger Webb and Margaret Everhart. Happy birthday to you, Margaret Everhart and Roger Webb. I need names for the 16th and 17th. I'll be announcing those in the morning on this newscast, and I need the rest of August through the 31st, and I'm taking September birthdays, too. Text him to me at 3, 3, 6, 9, 3, 2, 18, 81, our weekly giveaway with a nice prize package coming up tomorrow. Some big name birthdays, Jennifer Lawrence, 34, Maxine Waters, 86, Carl Edwards, 45. Floyd Ashton is 90. An original member of the Tams. [MUSIC] Beyond be foolish, but be happy. Beyond be foolish, but be happy. Oh, let's rain, get you down, it's the waste of time. Have your heart, live every day in the right time, time, the right time, time, time, time. In the same old school, you're all the world, girl, need more, and one is good. So beyond be foolish, but be happy. Beyond be foolish, but be happy. [MUSIC] Live your life up to the dead, life is too short, to worry about onion, water, things. And water, rain, reef on the sky, and touch your star, and then you find your dream. Find your dream, you're all dreaming all alone, and the shame indeed, but if you got love, that's all you need, so be young, be foolish, but be happy, be young, be foolish, but be happy, be young. A good dance number and a good sing along there too, that was a big hit in 1968. The Thames was formed in 1959 in Atlanta, taking their name from the Tam O'Shanter Hetz. They were on stage, how about that? Now today's motivational moment, thanks to Livingstone Wealth Management, Raymond James and Madison. It takes but one positive thought when given a chance to survive and thrive, to overpower an entire army of negative thoughts. Thank you friends for listening today, I hope you have a wonderful Thursday. Be sure to count your blessings. [BLANK_AUDIO]
