In BC News Radio, I'm Mark Mayfield. President Biden says his VP will not distance herself from his policies as she runs for president. While speaking to reporters outside the White House, Biden was asked about reports that Kamala Harris will break from some of his policies for political reasons. Biden simply answered, "She's not going to." This year's record-breaking hot summer will bleed into a warmer-than-average autumn. Brian Schook reports. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Climate Prediction Center, its seasonal outlook shows that all contiguous U.S. states are at least partially leaning towards higher temperatures between September and November. New England and the four-corner states in the Southwest have the highest chances of an unseasonably hot fall. The only exception is a sliver of the West Coast. I'm Brian Schook.
