G'day, friends, it's Blister Guy and this is episode 1347 at Walk to Walk a Mobile Hearthstone podcast. Choosing the best-looking Zilliax in today's 16th of August Friday. I think maybe I should get the order of that differently. I should do the date before the title. Anyway, look, a slightly more fun episode today, I think. We know Zilliax deluxe 3000, right? Came with the Whizbank's workshop. We know it's been a very popular card that's been nerfed many times. I'm just going to lock the recording device. Something's freaking me out about this recording device, right? You know how every now and again I have issues because the sensitivity dial is adjusted. I was doing seven for a long time. It goes up to like 12, I think. I was having it on seven. I was like, maybe I should dial it back a little bit. I dialed it down to five and I was like, "Wow, I really have to crank it up and post it." I think six might be the number I want, so I put it on six. I check it each time I'm about to record. This morning, I opened up the device case to plug in the headphones and look at the setting and it was dialed all the way down to one. Now, this dial is quite stiff, right? It doesn't just turn on its own. I have no idea how this is happening. I don't know whether my daughter is trying to punk me or something like, "Oh, anyway, Zilliax." So with strong journalistic integrity, I should probably have checked to see whether this bug is still active. It may well have been fixed. It may not have been fixed yet and is about to be fixed in the balance patch. It was not balance patch. In the patch that was announced today, it's a battlegrounds patch, like a whole bunch of battlegrounds stuff. Cool things, trinkets, something. I'm kind of looking forward to trying it out. There's lots of month left and I'm almost legend and wild, so maybe I'll have lots of time to play Battlegrounds this month. That could be fun. So that was announced today. Maybe this patch fixes that issue, but there was an issue with Zilliax where a different art on your Zilliax counts as a different Zilliax. So we had Hydration Station and inventor boom nerfed recently so that they bring back different minions. The problem was if you somehow acquired a different Zilliax from someone, and it could be the same Zilliax. It would be unkilliax, obviously. We're talking about unkilliax, but if you had chosen a different art to your opponent, inventor boom and hydration station saw those as different Zilliax's and you can see how. When you build your Zilliax, you're putting two modules in and then you're also putting a module down the bottom to choose the art. That is an attribute to the thing because it needs to change what it looks like when it's in play, so it understood that was different. And apparently Hydration Station and inventor boom does too, which meant that if you used yogg-ser-on, not hope-send, unleashed, yogg-on, I don't know, whatever the yogg is called from Titans, the Titans are many set. You use that yogg to steal someone else's unkilliax while you have unkilliax in your deck. If they had chosen a different art to you, your hydration station and boom now goes, well there's two different Zilliax's, I don't know what to tell you. And you're back on like it's pre-nerf territory, which is both funny, but also you know, not great. Like the whole idea of the balance changes that this shouldn't happen, but apparently there's this small interaction. It's kind of similar to what used to happen with the piranhas in Charmin. There was piranhas and they had different colours, which is cool, but for a while they're the different colours counted as different cards. Whoops, I can't remember why that mattered, but there was certainly something that mattered for it. Anyway, what I'm gonna look at today is the optimal configuration of Zilliax Deluxe 3000, taking into account this bug may not exist anymore, or might be about to not exist anymore. But it's still fun because I think getting to choose which Zilliax module you use for your art matters. And it probably matters for the deck you're playing as well. There's a couple of angles, sorry, I'm still a bit croaky. I did it, I actually did a cover test this morning and it's negative, because I was like surely it's not coded. There's very little in the way of cold symptoms going on. It's just this croaky throat and clearing my throat. It's all over and it's must be terrible for you. I'm really sorry. Anyway, I wish I had really access to a mute button, but then you'd lose the background ambience, you know, worksites and loud trucks and all that stuff, and it would just sound wrong. So I guess you put up with the horrible sound of me clearing my throat. It's awful, terrible radio. 1347, market is one you should skip if you don't like that. I'm so sorry. Anyway, when choosing your art for your Zilliax, right, I think some of them look better than others. And clearly some people will think others look better than others because when I use a deck code, it imports a Zilliax and I can see from the preview in my deck, I'm like, oh, I need to change the art on that one because it doesn't fit what I want. Now, the other thing here that I hadn't realized for a longest time is that you can choose your two Zilliax modules when building your Zilliax and then hit save without choosing an art. I didn't realize you could do that. And what it does then is it defaults to the first one. So if you were trying to meet a game this bug, which by the way, you shouldn't, that's not very nice. Don't do that. But if you were, you definitely want to pick an art that other people aren't going to choose, and most definitely not the first art. And I say the first art, we're going to open the client in a minute and go in there and have a look. And I'm going to be able to name the art because they're based on each module, right? So we know the name of the module. Therefore, we know the art and we're going to go through them one at a time and talk about which ones I think are optimal, which ones I think are just hot garbage, based on the colors. Anyway, so let's open the client. I'm going to reopen it because I just hit it open so we can hear half. The first one, whatever it's called, is clearly the worst if you're looking to have a different picture to your opponent because for every person out there that maybe chose the first one, because they liked it, there's going to be some others who chose it just by default because they didn't sleep an art. And so I think the first module, whichever it's called, we'll find out in a moment, is probably the least optimal if you're looking to have, oh hello, how you doing? If you want to have a different art to your opponent, the same token, if you're looking to avoid being taken advantage of by this bug, you probably want to have that portrait, that first module art. Here we go, just going into the client here, into the collection screen. And this is one of those things, actually, to be in a deck to do it. So I have a deck, night deck that is one out of 30 so far. And that one is, of course, Zili X. First module is called recursive module, there we go. The first, the recursive module is the default module that you'll get chosen. If you want to try to, and have the best odds of having the same portrait as your opponent, and therefore they can't jog your uncle X and then hydration station and invent a boom, you want to use recursive modules as your art. And look, overall, if I'm honest, I can't like the recursive module art. The thing is, when you look at the modules, you just see the module itself. When you put the module over on the Zili X, you see it, and you see what it looks like. I don't get to see it close up. But I do like the recursive module has some nice purple hues, purple into pink in the background. It looks quite nice. And the Zili X has some greens to it. Overall, I like that purple and green combination. It doesn't sound very nice, but it reminds me of, why am I 40,000? The, some of the chaos marine, miracle chaos marine stuff. And this is really going back, because before I discovered Magic the Gathering, I was playing Warhammer. I'm talking, you know, when I'm 14, 15 years old, or whatever it is. And so I remember some of that stuff quite fondly. I think when I was playing Magic, I was also playing Warhammer. Anyway, I think I stopped when I was around 17, 18, maybe. So it wasn't even that long with a time with a hobby, but it was at a very formative time in my life. So I still remember a lot of the color scheming and a lot of the space marine stuff, like all the different factions in Warhammer, I felt like the space marines were the most resonant on how they looked. Like storyline-wise, it's awful. Like, it's all really dark, dark and distant future stuff. And the space marines are that whole, "We're the good guys, yeah, but you're really horrible about it." Like, you know, there's nothing to like about it. But I liked the way the figures looked for the space marines. I still remember it quite clearly, although I'm sure they probably changed a bit over the years. It's been quite a few years since I was that age. Roughly 30. Oh my gosh. Anyway, I like the recursive modules color scheme. So as a default one, it's quite nice, right? But if you want to ensure that you have the same as everyone else, you should probably pick this. The only problem, of course, is that if somebody is listening to an episode like this, and they're trying to steal your own kili-x, they have two different types of new kili-x, they're avoiding having this art. And that's becomes a bit of a metagame. Oh, there's a little vices come online. There's a bit of a metagame here where someone who's trying to steal your own kili-x, unfairly to take advantage of this bug, is going to choose something other than this one. But your odds of it happen- here's the thing. The odds of you having the same art as someone else, you should pick recursive module. That's gives you the best odds. But the thing is, if someone is trying to get around this by abusing this bug, then they're least likely to have chosen this art. Oh, it makes it so difficult. And that's when we get into the idea of what is the ugliest one you can choose, because that might be the one they choose, because they think that's the one least likely for everyone to choose. Interesting, right? Anyway, so next module is actually my personal favorite, which is the haywire module. This one has, again, some nice purples to pinks in the background, but it's a less vivid pink. It's more of a soft pink, which I like a bit brighter, and the the zili-x is a very brassy orange color. And I like that. I think it really complements the purple quite nicely. It doesn't remind me of Nurgle Space Marines, but every time I look at colors like this, I'm like, "Would a Space Marine Army look cool in this color scheme?" I still think that way when I think about colors. It's weird, right? But this is my favorite one, which is the second module, haywire module. I really like using this color. Now, one of the other things taken into account here is, like, you could thematically think that when you're building your zili-x to like 3,000, that the color scheme that you choose, you want to choose one of the modules that it is, right? But then also, what does that do? Does that make it so that your opponent can eyeball your zili-x and just know which zili-x it is? I think they kind of know anyway best in how much you pay for it and how big it is in play, but you could, you know, I guess what's the word I'm looking for, accessorize it in that way to make it fit better to what you want, right? But also, you could throw them off by choosing a completely inappropriate module, so that just, you know, creates cognitive dissonance for them if you want to do that. Not that I think anyone's going to notice. I mean, also, there's probably some merit in choosing the ugliest module so that you're like, "Hmm, yes, yes, ugly module. Does that upset you to have my zili-x in play?" Ah, that kind of thing, which I swear is what some people do with me, with the ones that I don't like. Anyway, the third module, that would be the power module, because on this, I know, the background's kind of more of like a teal-y blue-green now, and the zili-x quite brassy, but has a lot of bright green highlights. Now, this bright green actually is one of my favorite colors. If you saw me dressed, you'd think my favorite color is black. I do like wearing black, but I really like that lime green, and if I can have a little lime green highlights, if I had black shoes on, lime green shoelaces I'd actually be pretty happy with. One of my favorite backpacks, which as long as it's worn out and gone, was a black backpack that had lime green inside. Anyway, I like that green, but the fact that the background's kind of like a blue-y teal to this green, I don't feel it compliments very well. So, the power module, that's okay, but not a big fan of it. Fourth one long is pylon module, obviously this is why we see a lot. This has darker purples to lighter purples in the background, and it's like a darker color, less brassy, more almost brown, with very slight little lime green highlights, which is nice. It's not bad, but like, if I compare that to the power module, the power module is just nicer green, and if I compare that to the haywire module, which is my favorite one, it's just totally different, and if we compare that to the first one, like it's got little light green highlights in there as well, it just seems nicer. So, when we look at the pylon module, it's fine, it's just the ziliac seems a little more muted than the purples in the background stand out a little more, so I don't know, I'm not so sure about that. All right, moving on to the bottom row, we have ticking module, obviously a very popular one here. This has a very light blue-to-blue background, a greeny brass color for the ziliacs and some bright green highlights. Overall, this is quite a bright looking one. The pictures are also very slightly different based on the module as well, which is kind of cool, and this one just kind of looks very bobbly, I'm not sure. The colors are nice, but I think it's a bit bright, so I don't prefer that one. Now we have twin module, which is my least favorite, I think. Bright red ziliacs, I don't know why, bright red ziliacs with green highlights, it doesn't work for me. I think the red and green together don't go very well, and if you're colorblind, you might be like, "Sorry, there's different colors, I don't know." Anyway, the background is like, purpley through to gold and blue, like it's just contrasty of it in the background, and when you have the contrast of the red to the green, this is my least favorite, it's awful. If you want to tilt me with the ziliacs, you pick the twin module, and I'm like, "Oh, don't like it." Anyway, the seventh module along we have is a virus module, obviously this is the popular one right now. I don't like this one for several reasons, one of which is just that the virus module art doesn't look right, it looks like it's got this big, weird, there's like a vegetable or fruit or something, it looks like this, I don't know. It just doesn't look right to me, the background is like blue to purple-ish, it kind of reminds me of dark alley packed from wallock, they color. I'm brassy colored ziliacs, but the green doesn't go with the blue and purple in the background, again I don't like it, and I don't like the module that's holding in the foreground, it doesn't look right to me. The last one has a blue to teal green background and a very purple ziliacs, this is a perfect module, and clearly this is the perfect choice because it looks nice, but it's not my favorite favorite because that's probably haywire module, but the purple and the blue to teal background, it looks a little better here than it has in other options, which is okay, but for some reason again the purple seems a little dark and it makes the background feel like it pops more than the foreground, but it's still nice, but overall I think that haywire module with the very brassy to gold-covered ziliacs with the dark purple to light purple in the background, it's just my favorite one of all those, and that's the one I like to use, and I will almost always pick haywire module, but whatever you want is up to you, and whatever you're trying to achieve, are you trying to have a nice looking ziliacs, are you trying to have an asymmetric ziliacs where the module picture fits the module you've chosen, or one of the modules you've chosen, or are you just trying to tilt your opponent if it's me by having the red one, ugh! Anyway, there's a lot of fun you can have picking and choosing your ziliacs, and even though this card has been nerfed a bunch of times, it's still an incredibly successful design, and I think it's really creative what they've done here coming up with this, in the Hearthstone Cloud as it is, like the Hearthstone Cloud is quite limited, it was built over 10 years ago, and everything they've done since then, like there's been some really creative uses of the space to do what they do, and obviously there are some limitations, like every now and again, like you'll see something there's a, some card we'll say, I'm going to shuffle seven things into your deck, you're like okay, it was like the druid dragon legendary dragon that shuffled seven dreams into your deck or something, and it pops up five of them on the screen, and they see them go over to your deck, and then it pops up two more, clearly we want the animation to do all seven at once, right, but it doesn't, that's a clearly a limitation built into the client, and it just doesn't look right, and I have to imagine that when they did that, they're like "ah that sucks, but there's nothing we can do about it", like if they were rebuilding Hearthstone from the ground up, they would take into account that kind of stuff now, so that every now and again you see little things like that, you know, like discover works the way it does because of the limitation of how many things you pop up, we can't search our deck in Hearthstone exactly, it wouldn't allow us to do that, but discover was the thing they could create in the client, and they created a really compelling mechanic because of it, and that's really neat, right, I think there's very clever, and so the limitations that the Hearthstone client brought with it, I really have created some really great design space, which is neat, but obviously in some other instances there's just these little quirks, we're like "ah, like little quirks where..." what's D'Nathrius, right, like it does the individual pings, and you infuse it to make it do more pings, but it works it all out in one go, otherwise, because it has lifesteal, it would just take way too long to animate them all, so like they had to change what the card does based around the technical limitation of the client, so not perfect, anyway, I think Zilex Deluxe 3000 is an amazing implementation of the existing tech that they built with ATC band manager, and it's just, it's really well done, I love it, anyway, it's time to get to the ladder and play some Hearthstone, I think I'm around Diamond Toon Wild, it's gone all right, I did lose some last night, but I'm really enjoying playing Odin Warrior, I did try a Mechathoon Warrior that I had seen, I lost to it on the ladder, and the thing with Mechathoon Warrior is you see every card when you saw it, and I didn't deck tracker it, but I was able to build a version of it, and each time I play at it I'm like, you just end up in this situation really close to the end of the game where you're suddenly very vulnerable to a dirty rat, if you're not careful, and like you can mitigate the chances of the best you can by keeping like a couple of cheap minions for that last turn, you've got 10 mana, like you play 5 mana worth of cheap minions that you've been holding in your hand, and then you chemical spill the Mechathoon into play, and then you play Shield Shatter, and it kills the Mechathoon and everything else, and then you win, but like, it just feels a bit ah, whereas the Odin version which I've been playing, which still has all the risky skipper stuff, like I just keep belting people in the face with 70, and having like tons of animation difficulties and things, it's just a lot of fun, but I'm not quite legend with that yet, I am still enjoying it, again I've tried a lot of different stuff in wild, and I'll talk about that maybe in next episode if I get there, but for now I'm just keep going, but today we're going to play some standard, now top of the list of things I haven't played is Hunter, Hunter is doing poorly generally, maybe people are just not enthused to try it, like maybe the best thing to do with Hunter is Reno, so Highlander Hunter, and then everyone's like, ah, yeah I guess, and we've done that before, I don't want to try something new, I want to try Razzle Dazzler, apparently Druid is still too good, that kind of stuff, but uh, Homie, H-O-M-I, whose username is like Homie was taken I think, uh, it does quite well, very high legend player, they went something like 12 and 4, I think they suggested they're playing this Hunter list, it's like hand buff, bit of death rattle stuff, I mean it's got yelling Yodelove, not a lot of death rattle stuff, but I think the idea is that you play Messenger Buzzard, and yelling Yodelove, and you're going to draw multiple cards and buff multiple things in hand, anyway, ah, they did quite well with that, it's like top 50 legends, so people are like, oh is this real, is Hunter back on the menu, so we're going to try that today, top of the list, and that's kind of neat, also it has Absorbent Parasite, which is one of our reveal cards, right next to always a bigger journal, you know it's just another one of our reveal cards, that was nerfed, um, that one's not surprising, but the Absorbent Parasite, it's nice to see, it's one of those things where you see those and you're like, oh is this an amalgam deck, and it's not an amalgam deck, but if your hand buffing stuff, Absorbent Parasite adds up to a lot, so let's try Homies Hunter deck, oh the legend letter I guess, where are we, we're at two four four one legend, that's not bad, I mean it's not 11 times territory, but halfway through the month, that's not bad, I assume this equates to like 4,000 legend by the end of the month, which is nowhere near 11 times territory, so we'll see, let's queue it up though, Homies hand buff hunter I think, it's not fully hand buff and it's not, it's not fully death rattle, but it might just be a solid pile, I don't have southang or uh range of gilly in golden, if I win this game do I upgrade them to golden, that might not be a prudent just my, my dust, if it was just one legendary maybe, but all right back button's going, we have an opponent, who is it, so holding us, Lunara is them, which means druid, druid is too good right now, we're expecting, expecting probably dragon ramp druid, but maybe concierge druid, either way they're both kind of rough for us if they get the start they want, we have a couple muscle in our hand, that's the one mana warrior spell that gives something in your hand plus two plus one, three drinks, and we have two greedy partners, a greedy partner makes another greedy partner work, so at the very least we a couple muscle turn one and then play a 4/4 turn two and get a coin, that seems like a good way to start right, and then I guess we can coin a couple muscle, we can do a couple muscle one turn three and play the other one, but let's see what we draw, a miracle salesman, do I want to run out miracle salesman turn one, greedy partner turn two, when I think about it I think a 4/4 is so much harder for them to deal with, but the problem is if the couple muscle hits the miracle salesman, and then I'm playing miracle salesman next to it, is that's a bit, I don't think it is, so let's start with a couple muscle, a couple muscle hits a greedy partner, great, so I play greedy partner coin a couple muscle again next to him, but we can always come, there's a gift wrap well, see, a 4/4 is immediately difficult for them to contend with, we're just drawing a bunch of bananas, that's nice, so let's just play a greedy partner, that gives us a coin, now they could trade the gift wrap well and hear a power into our greedy partner, or if we just coin out a bunch of bananas now, like they're not in a good way, so I'm going to do that, so now I have a 5/5 out here on turn two, now that doesn't mean they can't remove it right, they may have Seabreeze jealous if they're playing that kind of druid, but hopefully they just have to go face with three here and go yikes I'm going to take five, especially because I can bunch of bananas a bit more the following turn, but if they can commit a whole bunch of resources, maybe they coin, no I had this one, maybe they innovate, there's a coin on our Aiko coin, coins flesh flesh well, as you say maybe they coin out the ass wipe or something, go just draw an agramar, so our second greedy partner is currently offline as far as an extra coin, and I would really like to be able to play it maybe next turn turn 4 to get a coin to be able to play agramar on turn 5, so we probably want to spend mine or on other things first, we've got two bananas and we've got a miracle salesman, they currently have seven attacks with minions over there, so putting any more bananas on my greedy partner just allows them to trade into it evenly with the two minions anyway, so we can leave it at a 5/5, the worst thing that happens is that their flesh flesh well trades it and they hear a parrot down, they get a lot of damage in the face from that, so let's start with a couple muscle, we're going to couple muscle, we're going to play that hit the other greedy partner, now we're going to play a miracle salesman, alright we're going to play a second couple muscle then, because we're not going to play a banana, that hit the greedy partner as well, so we just play the miracle salesman down here, we go face with the greedy partner, so if they use their 4/3 flesh flesh well to value trade down the miracle salesman, that means it's more difficult for them to trade into the greedy partner, alright this is cheer drake, that's four of their four mana spent, that seems fine by me, they have value traded down the, uh, the watching call it the miracle salesman, so they've got a two, four, a four, one and a three, two, we still have a 5/5, ooh, we've drawn a bird watching, discover a minion from your deck, give all copies of a plus two plus one, but it doesn't mean that a greedy partner is online, the other one, and that's a 6/5, so a 6/5 to go with that 5/5 seems pretty good, even though their hand is, what they have in place, quite nice, they say, well we still have two bananas left, so we can also like double banana the, um, existing greedy partner, they will be able to trade their four one and their three two for it, but also have a 6/5, and like they need to have a swipe or something after that, to help take it out, now the, the cheer drake drew them a spell, so swipe is quite possible, so it's entirely possible that what I should do here is trade the snake, or we clearly want to greedy partner, save the coin for next turn, so we can drop agramine next turn, hmm, I don't think we're spending bunch of banana as well, maybe what we're doing is just playing bird watching, after playing the, the greedy partner, would you say, all right, deal with what you can, so all right, so we play the greedy partner, now you play bird watching, that yelling yodler, messenger buzzard, miracle salesman, I guess messenger buzzard will do, it's not, not a terrific one, we drew it though at least, we go face a five with our greedy partner putting them into 20, and we pass the turn, so we're on 24, they're on 20, we have a 6/5 and a 5/5, they have a 3/2, a 4/1 and a 2/4, like it's pretty reasonable for them, like a swipe here, they can clear our board, some are flat hole finale, pretty good, but it means they can't clear our minions nicely, they can clear some of them, so this is 3/2 and the 2/4 going into the 6/5, so that's gone, they take us down to 20, but we still have a 5/5, there's another couple muscle, I think what we're doing here, there's two ways to do this, we can either make a 3/3 taunt with our grandma, or we can make our weapon 5/2, sorry, 5/3 and attack the summer flower child, that would lead them with a 4/1 with splash well, that cannot trade very well into our 5/5 greedy partner, or cannot trade well into the agramar, and I think that makes sense, they've got two expensiveish spells in hand, or minions, and they have six mana next turn, the worst thing for us is probably that it's maybe doombkin, so I think getting agramar down now makes a lot more sense, the other thing we can do, we're just drawing a second couple muscle, we can start playing our messenger buzzard, but I don't think that lines up particularly well, so I think coin agramar that makes the most sense, the other option of course was making a 3/3 taunt and face tanking the 4/1, but I think just having extra attack makes more sense, there we go, and we face tank down the summer flower child, and we go face with a greedy partner, so they're on 15, if they want to hear a power face tank down the greedy partner that's going to put them to 11, they need to use a swipe, they've got six mana this turn, to be able to like swipe on agramar maybe one damage onto the greedy partner, then the 4/1 trades into the greedy partner, but it can't feel like a really good position for them to be in, there's a tiny cheer drake drawing them a spell, and then there's a 5, a 5/5, that's a pretty good card, the 4/1 and the 5 go into the agramar, that heals them up to 19, we're drawing Ranger Gilly, so we can attack into the 5 with our face, because we'll be immune, they won't heal, but it'll only do 5 of the 9 damage we need to take out, the 5, so we are going to have to take our greedy partner into it, and it is going to heal, if we instead did a couple of bananas on it, we're still going to have to face tank it as well, so I don't think we need to do any bananaing, I think what we can do this turn is Ranger Gilly, trade a snake oil maybe, or Ranger Gilly, a couple of muscle, but I don't know that that's necessarily, so I think it's trade snake oil, play Ranger Gilly, and because one of those things is trade snake oil, we do it first to decide what our plan is, always a bigger jaw monger, give a minion plus to attack and excess damage dealt hits our enemy hero, so if we play this on our greedy partner and it gets a couple of bananas, we can take out the fight, I'll still draw, but then our minion is pretty big, here's the rope, I'm going for it, I probably shouldn't be, a couple muscle with the last mana, and then we go face with 5, all right so, we buffed up our greedy partner to be a 9, 7, so now it's an arrow 9, 3, that healed them for 4, up a bunch, then we face tanked them down to 18, to one durability of our weapon left, they have a 1/1 cheer drake and play that doesn't give spell damage, there's innovate, ooh, unkilliacs, and they're using, looks like the first module, so that's healed them up to 22, that's pretty bad for us, because it's still a 4/6, because of the divine shield, our weapon doesn't take it down, we're on 19, they're going to heal for a lot, so what we have in hand is a messenger buzzard, it's currently at 5/4, a Ranger Gilly is a 4/6, we're doing another bunch of bananas, we're doing a couple of muscle, I think we're just playing Ranger Gilly and the messenger buzzard, and passing the turn, but it doesn't feel very good, so the unkilliacs came down for 8 mana, which made it was reduced by the summer fur chart, I think the fire might have been reduced by the summer fur chart as well, those are the cards you want to get I guess, and they had an innovate to give it out on turn 7, turn 6, so yuck, anyway we have a 5/4 messenger buzzard and a 4/6 Ranger Gilly, Ranger Gilly has put a 2/3 island crocklist in our hand, but if Ranger Gilly dies, it's going to buff that, if the messenger buzzard dies, we'll draw a beast in the buff that, here's another innovate, an ENR, ENR is refreshing the amount of crystals, giving them a 5/4, there's a doomkin, ugh, wow, this is why the ramp drew it, so good right, and then the hero powering, whoop there, and Gilly acts attacked into the Ranger Gilly, buffing the one minion we have in hand, and then the hero powering my face, so we're on 17, there's another snake oil, so we've got 7 mana this turn, 1 minion hand it costs 2, a snake oil, a bunch of bananas, we have a 5/4 messenger buzzard that can trade and get a minion, I think we trade that first, and I think we probably should trade it for Unkili X, or maybe I should have face tanked Unkili X so they don't heal, but they're on 30, so it doesn't matter, that draws another messenger buzzard, that's a 4/4, okay, now are we dead, we're on 17, they have, yeah they've got 17 attack with in place, so we need to use our last durability of our agramar weapon to take out the 5/5 taunt, we'll be immune thankfully, but I think we should trade a snake oil now, catch work pals, I mean I think playing messenger buzzard patchwork pals is good, at least it's 2 mana left, so we've probably just played the 5/6 crockles as well, I assume they'll just run Unkili X into it, but better than nothing, catch work pals, what if we, no, Hopper doesn't do anything good here, Misha kind of does I guess, so messenger buzzard Misha, unsure about that Misha play, we're on 17, we have a 4/4 messenger buzzard and a 4/4 Misha, they have a 4/1 Unkili X that has been reborn already, they have a 3/1 doomkin and 1/1 cheer drake, there's a desert matron untapping to mana crystals, we have an ENR, there's already refresh mana crystals, so they're drawing to their hands, well I think they drew about 5 cars there, and they've got 10 mana so ugh, pretty good, gives them another 5/5 taunt, like I think clearly we're losing this, but let's see how it goes, pointing a swipe at the Misha, that allows them to go face for 8 damage and play, which will put us down to 8, because we took one from the swipe as well, a lot of stuff there, there's a Malfurion's gift with 6 mana left, another swipe on the face putting me to 4, do they have a third swipe in hand, nope they got a Chong, Gem Tosser, I'm on 4 and I've got 2 health of minions in play and they've got 10 mana so we did, they drew us a hollow hand and buffed it, so it was a 4/5 hollow hand, we possibly could have a couple muscle that and possibly could have a Leop to make that hollow hand bigger, but we were dead, so I guess that doesn't matter, the hollow hand is pretty good, but the only taunt they have is either Unkiliax with a shield on it, so that's not a great way to trade in, but at least we take out the minions either side of it, one of which was a 1/1, the other was a Gem Tosser, that's not very nice, but if we can attack into the 5/5 taunt on the other side, we damage E&R, but E&R wasn't a threat to our actual health, so even if we hadn't died there and we had the, what do we call it, the hollow hand, I don't think it was saving us, which is a shame. So one of the things Homie mentioned in the tweet with this deck was that, you know, as long as you're not totally behind on the board early on, you're okay, we weren't totally behind on the board early on, we had a good size board, but also they played gift wrap, well, turn 1 and a 4/3 list flash, well, with coin on turn 2, like yeah, it kind of went alright for them as well, right, like their draw was exactly what they wanted, turn 4 they had, watch them call it, the summer flower child, wish drew them fire, the setting sun and uncleia, it's like, okay, okay, that's going to be a good draw and sometimes you can't beat that and that's fine. I just realised I didn't do a patron thank you yet and I should do that, right, because we're going to sign off, there'll be a train here in a moment, let's start with a patron thank you, patreon.com if you can, uh, chat, channel.com/mysterguy, if you can afford to support the way we do it goes a long way and really does help all of us out. Apparently today's patron is a ridiculous hat, you know him, we all love him, there's a train coming, we'll get you along this, and he is very generously supporting this podcast, I hope he hasn't forgotten, maybe he's not supposed to, you know, that he's a community manager, influencer manager or whatever, for blizzard, but he still is and we love him a lot for it, so thank you ridiculous hat and everyone else who supports the work we do here, walk towards my last time podcast, anyway look, follow me on twitch, twitter and youtube at listguy, follow the podcast, walk to wkjs on twitter and come hang out and discord discord.me/blistguy and it's always a pleasure to have you join me for my walk to work, even when we're getting smashed by a ram druid, these things happen. Alright, good luck everyone and everything you do because you're an absolute bloody legend, and I love you all, look how empty this lovely friday train is, you love to see it, well I do, you can't see it and I probably shouldn't take pictures of people on the train, they go like "what are you doing, why are you taking pictures of us?" and they'd be right, they'd be right to ask their friends, even in that voice.
