(upbeat music) - Today is Friday, August 16th, and this is "Cokesbury's Daily Bible Reading Plan." Today's scripture is Romans chapter eight, verse 28. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them. The second scripture is Ephesians three, verse 20. Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Now let's apply it. God causes everything to work together for good. He is always at work within us to bring about that good. When a day goes completely wrong or a friendship seems irreparable, or a child strays from what we had hoped for them, God can work it all out, sometimes even better than we could imagine.
