Today is Friday, August 9th, and this is Coke's Berry's Daily Bible Reading Plan. Today's scripture comes from the Book of Romans, chapter 10, verses 3 and 4. For they don't understand God's way of making people write with Himself. Refusing to accept God's way, they cling to their own way of getting right with God by trying to keep the law. For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given. As a result, all who believe in Him are made right with God. Now let's apply it. Human effort, no matter how sincere, can never substitute for the righteousness God offers us by faith. The only way to earn salvation is to be perfect, and that is impossible. Instead, we hold out our empty hands and receive salvation as a gift. Thank you for joining us for the Daily Bible Reading Podcast.
