Slightly after half a on a Sunday night, as always my name is Colin and I'll be your host this evening as we talk through and chillies, touch a class, propels, baby or go and I 45 minutes in the same half that we get football. We shut down and it's themed to panel tonight. First of all, the man on the continent is David T. How are you doing? Yeah, fine thanks Colin. I watched a range of teams going on 11 goals this afternoon so that sort of achieved me up from the second half here so that took some quite good football and it must be maybe better watching the women who's event these days. No, we need a one-year or two so maybe we're all going to hear you know I made just a short batting size and got me handed in Tuesday night. That wouldn't be the worst idea. Well they're saying a four-word score four goals so we can do that saying a four when this goes four goals. Hey, you watch our move when you talk about cereal desks as we welcome on your hand. So, Davey, let's get right in about it then. Ranges are where home away from home to motherbough yesterday with one, two, two, one. It's hard, it's hard because we were talking off here that the setting half was pretty dire but we're all coming out later on. Let's start with the positives. I thought for the first 20 minutes, strangers would like they had a bit of freshness about them. They had Daniel, Jenny midfield. We were going a lot of joy down journeys wing and I thought we'd play quite well for the first 20 minutes. You know what sort of a commitment to my head calling was that see the way we were passing the ball. It was nice and sharp. There was no these soft, warby type balls. They were all halved into the food and that's even the way that the government government went to the goal for Germany yet but that's the way it came about because Tom gave him a good pass into his food that he could sort of run on to and that's what I noticed. It was a big difference from other weeks at that moment and I think Robin had had a hand in that as well. It was great to see people passing it back to him and then he wouldn't take six touches. He would just either pass it right away or he would take one touch and pass it and that was sort of the game just sort of that first half hour just went quite quick. We were just passing the ball about quickly and that's sort of a thing that I noticed about the first half hour. Jack, that's probably the first auction point. We'll come here then, Robin Propa. I think it's unfair to give him too much criticism for their own goal yesterday. I think he's on working but I dare agree with David. He was comfortable in the ball and it's nice. So it was usually the ball playing centre half. It was nice to see two centre halfs comfortable. They can go either way as well and for the most part of it, he'll work as if he's settled in quite well. I think that was me. I've seen Rangers defenders' debuts where it can be comfortable or if I'm not too happy with a piece of the Scottish game but he'd dealt with that no problem. They took a ball, eating in the area was challenging. It wasn't a wonderful debut but it was solid enough. Seeing the own goal and both come to it. I think he's quite unlucky because I think to have him you're going to be quicker than the guy but Sutter has got to eat a bat ball. I mean he looks to me when I was sitting there, he shot his ice when I broke him in the box. That puts up my planer if you would. But on Propa, I think it's not a bad one if I was done taking away the unlucky own goal because he's got to speak for that and he's just unlucky when a ball ends up. Totally different to the one, but he's just no paying attention. He's got to and pretty slightly I'm just unlucky when it ends up. James, what was your thoughts on the big man? My one criticism is probably the chance when in my world I thought that it should be strong not when in my world. I know Red Daniel Myers is out of position again but I think Propa gets done on his shoulder, frame, other than that I can if you like. I can be the criticiser of his game yesterday. No, I mean I'm the same mate, it's me, my daughter, we're saying that you looked it's good to see that I'm a defender that's comfortable in a ball and what we'll say is David the same, you'll no take 20 touches before he's looking to time make a forward pass. That was something that was good. I thought his positional sense up apart from the aerial and goal was Jack says. Many times at a 10-0 ball you got to get on the bar and buy the post, he's just obviously unlucky but I think there's obviously something there that might be all done and I think the more that he gets used to playing with him and training with the boys I think he'll come and leap some bounce. David, do you see this being the same, a half pair and going forward, then barre and they need to fall rest and we've seen William barre and come on for Propa and I'd imagine that's way one I choose to need but I don't know, I think he's trying to still kind of give me the theory a bit but I think I've seen enough to be comfortable that I can maybe develop and they are a solid partnership. I'm afraid I would try the new baller again, the team I think baller again is the best defender we've got doing that. I would say he's even a better defender than Propa is and then the baller again instead of Propa instead of... Oh no, baller again instead of Sutter. I think I would like to see the Sutter are baller again and Propa in the defense for Tuesday although I don't have an obvious way of playing with each other yet so there's maybe taking a bit of a chance but I think baller again is the far the best defender we've got better than then sitting with the other two the Sutter and the Davies so that's me and I do a good thing and you'll get many first team games this season with we really get rid of the injuries again so now I would go for the baller again and Propa that I think that's the best defense. Might you be relying on baller again as your first choice and a half is we know we're going to need rotation at that point and I don't know if it is better to build a bad stability with a back four and try and get your four first choice points and today I would put it in baller again when we know every state of the game is really interested. Yeah, oh, is that the me, sorry? Um yeah I know and when you build only played what about 20 minutes yesterday so I would imagine that that's keeping an eye for Tuesday night that the rest of them is for the start of this game and I would I'm expecting to see him weigh him with Propa playing on although he might drop Propa you know you never know he might think it's doing an important game to have a newbie in the team. I don't know but for me it would be baller again in Propa that that's that's okay I will go but I'm not, yeah, Sutter can be good but you can also be an eight-minute can you? Hi and it's um it's sort of never pleased that bad but he has one bad mistake in him every game it's um it's frustrating. Jack will just take away the defense and maybe touch in the first call and um the fillbacks I think James Darwin the other doesn't he calls doing his win or the win absolutely doesn't he there and I think we seem beef him and red van there that I got a thing so red van will easily get caught or he will maybe dash forward and he's no no quick question off to get there. That is my worry where the fillbacks I know they both done okay going forward with van had a part of the play in the day so it was great but defensively I choose I don't know it just feels as if they're half a yard off the sharpness or maybe they'll just switch you know for me but so I might have near fun but I'll admit it could have got to that guy quicker but that's a nothing ball into your books that Sutter has just let Grady see and I was going to say the two sent off some of their wet prop player think uh propers unlucky because that boys were worried they would say that could go anywhere but against a better team we are going to be very careful and to take Demi's point it's sad days that the defender we let go for nothing two years ago who couldn't find a club for a few weeks in QPR ballergan it's probably a best set and a half at the moment I would imagine proper probably is better than him but we don't know that yet if that's the case not angels shut I still want to know about the fender and because Sutter it's it's more just a mistake every game at least causing a goal almost every game you get away with in the first game against Tarts because they're bottling me that I could save it in the up post every game I was a clanger for a fair fair bit of Sutter unfortunately oh and can I just say one thing the the the fall actually started the fourth time in the year the fall actually started with Dear Monday not picking up his man in the midfield I think the guy was called Wilson and he had just so much room he had a bit too a circle or 28 20 hours in a bit um that there was nobody near him so he got all the time in the world and that's where the actual problem started James, what are your thoughts on you? That's that I think if I think David's grow men and dear Amanda there they probably speak to the bigger picture the overall I don't know structure that we have when the other team had the ball and it's what we've seen when we're at our worst last season which is a job we don't quite have the shape so like Sutter to have Dear Monday red band for the chances as well it's probably a bigger this year that we're talking about here I 100% mate and I think that what was crying out for this is a leader in the middle with a park and I don't mean like a captain I mean somebody that's going to instruct people where they be what did they want to go for but a for boys and stuff I think for me I think the old man he's wasted in the middle I would rather see him can I push further forward and maybe playing in the number 10 role it would maybe free him up a bit where he's maybe no good at defensive uh security uh uh firm I think he's obviously maybe better to create things because when he's going forward he's getting his heat up and he likes to make forward passes which is good to see I just think obviously having him in in the middle with a park is can I maybe I don't know can I hold my boy back um but I would like to see another like an experienced midfielder coming in um that's going to have that I would even say maybe like a holding midfielder that's going to be barking orders with two people because I thought I don't think we've actually had that since I would probably say Barry Ferguson but a guy that was moaning at people he was in that he was in people's faces he was he was jean woke up that's what I think we were needing but I don't remember he had Ferguson there where you know we had got to say world class players you know you had your divorce and you're geo playing moments stuff like that but this has been obviously a heck hormones got you and these monies got to go out there and find something that's going to come in and shoot playing in a middle of the park for us and be that leader that we need and James just starting with you and I think I mentioned this um maybe in last week's live stream the we need first team quality to come in because of those possessions that we do I do need proven but the perfect signings will be players like that who come in and prove others around them I've seen in a familiar Muhammad the O'Manda in Corona Baden that they will give us something different that we didn't have last year they're two very different players neither can be the main man in the middle of the park just now I think yeah Corona Baden's got a lot of potential to maybe be that but he's definitely going to be a compliment three energetic midfielder guys like Juan Jordan that we were going to play like someday an experience here just to dictate the play in with these two boys thrive so that's one sign in them to your positions if you get me yeah I think we're needing it as a younger Steven Davis I think I've in some day my bill at a minimum in the park the guy was an absolute rose rice for me and I'm a player I don't think he ever broke sweat during the game he would be able to pick that pass out and stuff like that but anyways obviously I'm a lot younger he could also get about the park and I would love to see something like that but then again guys like these don't you know they don't cost one and a half million pounds guys are costing at least six seven eight upwards and million pounds but I would be looking for somebody like that in the middle of the park and it's also going to come in and as you say we didn't prove the old man day and Baden I think will be a talk class player for Rangers because I've seen an officer today that he loves to get about that park I think it was a tackle and already made later on a last-ditch tackle he managed to get his fit in and obviously can I stop at a man attack but he likes to get the boys well look up and actually go forward which is obviously something that we were missing terrible last year it is and Mark my worry is David that if we don't get somebody in the player that James is describing we're going to put too much pressure in corner Baden and we're going to expect him to be something that he's no I mean I think we're probably seeing him step in the Rangers jersey very very well but I think we know the player was saying and I don't want he I don't want to paint him as you know the next bad if I just mean can I either think he's got a long way to go till then so my worry is that one red goes on before having another midfielder the more pressure we put in him and when the one is to I don't know we're a tackle by the Charles Rangers fans and when they want us to start something I don't know that I would I would I don't know where it works just I don't know whether that he would pick staring we could command and play just in front the defense and put corner bad and the amount they just a little bit more forward I don't know where that would work I will always say that I don't think they're always gonna take technical abilities to do it well and I thank you I don't think he'd be done it yesterday I think he stayed out knowing yesterday they didn't stay around clinic when he came on so I think he came in a med field and that you know that is I know when we're sitting there Monday push for the wee bit yeah um no I think if we're not gonna bring him then I think that's super the way I would possibly like to go that try staring there and then push a corner barn and the amount they moved forward I think Baron's wasted in the in the fluid offensive role and if you if you want it had quite a few good shots in the preseason and I go where where the keeper either pulled a good save or just went past the post so I would put like this corner barn get more forward and and bring it in somebody that can spray the ball about I think that's uh that's the kind of where we need it I hate to say it because I didn't really like him that much but uh Barry Fergus in the first time around I'll say not the same time around Barry Fergus and that kind of where and I was also I think that the Dutch guy who uh what waters was it waters that used they used to they used to play for us he was uh he was absolutely fantastic in that position so that's the kind of where I would like to see Jan Walters. Jan Walters the fuck are they all going way back down then we um Jack let's um let's talk about the man in the moment yesterday um back last year then so we've seen him pop up last Tuesday way at a beautiful assist and I think he looked viewable way live but yesterday before he's got a hit that beautiful ball through for Scott Wright and yeah it's short right then it's short right he finds but it was a beautiful ball through nonetheless and then he's gone and I'm seeing in the comments um about the bay and there's some stroke and thumb that is an assist for Tylvania uh technically it's an assist so curly and they call him and he just knew you met him without me but Jack didn't know the way for Charlie it was the time to wear so he got inside the way through beautiful finish and I don't know and it's really hard no he got too excited with us um in the last two games are an assist in the goal it's where we've been lacking fair wide areas and same ago Angel. The build up before it gets to Tylvania who takes a ball quite strongly on a run an area half and then he plays a great pass it's sort of insane it's it's no about the guy passing the ball it really is because if he doesn't play that great pass to him he does the maneuver he's sailing I would even argue it's better than it was go because for me my turn does go if the boy young itself totally showed him which way to go I don't know who to go up from. Charlie had to do that he said we want touch and I would argue it was actually a better going with time those it's been turned away I'd say it was better and for your first game you can he asked for much better now a right winger or a right man fielder sorry to score a goal because we've been trying it for years and it might take pressure if expecting only one kind of person to right on side to supply is there anything. My worry is with the way there is Jack we see a massive drop of fair chain they tell everybody else you know and walking down high in the heart right now we until grotesque comes back we we didn't need to talk about methan doe scrotary and my cousin Ross my cousin we'll start with I thought he looked okay yesterday and sat in half and thought he no much came off but he was very very energetic in the place he'd go any decent dangerous areas in the box I've caught at times I caught across his end and another day if we've gone maybe more prolific cycles then it might come off and I think Ross my cousin has does have a role with way and this year but we are we do need to hope that he does develop very quite quite the season goes on because we kind of just rest all hopes and cheer on me I've seen before my cousin I'll call me James because um Jack's dog is not a fan of Ross because when so James just do not count oh hey sorry Jack only come back in um I saw him but I have always been a fan of my cousin's committee team I know he's no necessary I'll go to final product but she has what rate where it does for a team that's a lot more of him at methan doe scrotary again is he keeps a good balance he's quite industrious he actually means me a bit of kind days we have a final boss no rare bet he does good work for the players when I bet him and he creates a good triangle I remember at times last season and can't where I was in the middle and to have it right back I want to go to came fair at triangle doing a bit of work so I think there's a place where for me cozland um for me coz I'm sorry before methan doe scrotary definitely to uh the the difference in quality we're trying to relate to his flight then but my cousin doe's a what rate I don't think with arterial givers um so he's probably gonna have a ringing as well of courteous isn't he back any time soon? James how are you feeling about the way there is because if I'm playing devil's advocate we've like I think also courteous we'll do what do a job I think doe's own style we can do a job but on the wings as well so we'll probably go with a three three valuable options first because on then if we're being fair maybe we'll do a result but so we've wrote a three four options there um I think I'm quite interested in saying they're well recovered in that areas it still does feel right didn't it? Yeah it does and I think because I was actually man of the comic I was saying that um a cousin's rubbish or crap or whatever I don't think the boys crap but I think he's go it's it's acting a lot ain't me asking a teenager to come in to this team and actually change things um as Jack was saying as his final board it may be like something done but he's what rate um it's fantastic for me he buzzes about and I think it's just a case that that will come for him he's final ball wall this the you've all the unfairness obviously training every day and stuff like that he's final ball wall become better um if you can get that sorted I think we'll get an absolute fantastic young player on my hands and it's about coaching him right it's about bringing him into games at the right time he kind of just go find him all in all foreign games if I'm a big young people I'm not an expect him to do everything for his he's kind of do that it's no he's no a messy he's no an 18 year old messy um but I would like to see another winger coming in because I just don't think that I hate saying that I don't think the tone does I think the shots too heavy from a tone don't right I think the pressure of playing for Rangers is for me as I said before I think Scott Wright is a my just competition runner and he's managed to get himself into the Angels team through it um I just don't rate the boy he says my PTSD through the roof at times he will do something absolutely fantastic like yesterday rounds he keep on and fluffs it um when he should be burying it um but I still think we need that that extra bit of quality out wide as well kind of just keeping around and sharing it too and we're cutting down and trying to create the chances for one thing we need some do on the other side that's going to be doing it as well see from being fairly short right um so yesterday um I was one who asked him just because I was right doing a fun so I was doing for the next set and sort of like him or like came out he's seen some day where uh with his name in the back of the tab and why the sign that he came right over and he was chatting away the day I was saying my tab um the the wee guy who was asked for the signature and then I said wee guy he was just like mid 20s expecting shot right to have a pen and shot I don't don't have one minute sorry I'm just finished and the wee guy is like oh like so I shout out to anybody going to a game once or tap sign if he else won't have a pen in a pocket um that probably the biggest thing I'd go after half time yesterday um David um I'm quite loved to stack the boot in this world because if I'm being honest I think he's given us all that he's capable of um I don't think he can really give us much more uh but we can't really expect much more for him my issue is uh he keeps on playing and that that's on the manager um I was on the is it on the the soccer exams we find ourselves on um Jack David's being made it the black um the black stream of death so he's connection may have caught up but like how how ham song is the manager here or is he just meeting it on goal we play in strong right Jack he obviously sees something in Scott Wright because it's so many big games at Scott Wright's played now and we are um an old university that having it seem better I wonder if claiming he's won he's been players because he plays so much he starts so many big games goes back to the three each game again Celtic when Scott Wright started and I remember when we'd that put across his support he was undoubtedly with some dot half time kind of remember that it probably was but I just feel like we all think it's got right is lucky to be playing I'm new to getting out of it what he did claiming thinks it's Scott Wright's when he's literate I know what makes sounds but he plays a lot of games he I wonder if he thinks that's a guy who's been there a few years because a lot of the players have left um that's a frightening thought but I wonder if that's if claiming thinks that's why he's guys he can rely on I certainly don't like I don't think that but we're going to think if that is perhaps where the case might be David we've just spoke about the goal we conceded where do you mind these no doing what it has to do to have doesn't he do what it has to do to others they do what it has to do and there was an awkward chance as we choose to always be in a position Bill um Bill will film again on few saying the thing as we sort of write your falls instructions very well and that's the only thing I can think of if we are married to keep our shape like we know he doesn't have a quality that's the only thing I can thank you why the manager might be playing them why what I get all the players up to speed but again I'm I'm David yeah I'm sorry Colin but my wife I's playing up well look at catching half oh I'll try and I don't know what the question was because you're you're breaking up for me um so I'll let somebody else answer that call and see see how all my wife I keeps going. I will I think we'll move on for first probably then David. Scott Rites even ruining that don't it. David that's all as maybe it's all right. It's just got me part of the subject and yeah don't it. James the setting goal came for several days of love we've all been through at Van Yell man's and he had a couple of decent balls and um yesterday Muhammad the man did knock down and diesels maybe we're still the right time um it's it's it's a clear cut chance but that means we're single diesels it's usually 50/50 if it'll go and I know um but he took it well and that's two big goals and two big games this week with your thoughts and in his performance got went in Tuesday and and yesterday I thought it was very good in my last two games I'm no one of these biggest fans put that way however I've tried but I'm I am going to try and back diesels now I'm going to stop being the the guy that's constantly slagging I'm saying he's no good enough for this um I think he was unlucky I know we have one other chance as well the short after right head over say I mean I thought it was well blocked as well um can I want chance he can adjust the day um and can I took it so for me it's kind of he's going to have to be the guy that were that were relying on because I just don't think uh common is a big fan of Danilo for some reason I thought yesterday was a chance to make it minutes and that guy's legs under he's um especially for choosing that coming up to time hopefully gi desu is a break every time because I don't think desu is a guy that you can hang your heart on and basically say that he's going to you know he's got to take every chance that's going to fool me he is going to be one of these guys I think it'll take him four or five chances to actually get a shot in target which I'm sorry that isn't a good enough for Rangers um I think we're going to need we need a striker that's going to take the one or two chances that we're going to be getting these games because you've seen the games against Celtic especially at park head with one or two chances however you know we're fluff by lines there I thought obviously the chances can I thought you're a crisp boy there and I'll be coister in the back in the 80s and we come away from park he'd be a victory um but good back to you all today so as I thought obviously Tuesday night I thought he'd done what he had today and I thought he was I thought he was very good yesterday as well um I thought he's kind of hold up play was a lot better he's nine times at any second touch um seems to be a tackle but I thought yesterday was actually very good day was putting himself about as well which I thought was good anyway isn't he getting there any center hash aim on me neither yeah I came I've not got you really what I've said in the in the podcast before but there's also yeah I said beauty of these being recorded you need to be consistent because something will probably up them as all the listeners who keep on remain mayor but the James to have near story I have fucked out why not folks who get your filters in um but at the same time again there's also can contribute this season it does have qualities but as you as he does need to offer them consistently and he's he probably can't he'd deliver are you can he deliver consistently I think what would help uh what what would help is uh we do get chances and goals for other other parts the the pitch so chair need does work I'd go for it we are seeing the rise of the old Mandy Lawrence and Baron be a bit more threatening towards go I think back to the early days of Mireros when he wasn't he always firing or um most ministers those that was named again I should because we go go to midfield we go to first center half we go to win so I don't think it negates and they don't get a better cycle but I think if we can get goals for other parts say the team then maybe makes a desert's problem a bit less significant didn't it? I do think we're in models better than the midfielders we've got in the B team that I think that's fair to say but it's a difficult one because two million pounds for when a mother for example is great business but when we've got money spending maybe another midfielder that's right when you're that's where it becomes difficult. I'd be buying them for if it's available two million I think you want mayor because I remember Tombo it's somebody said he was three and a half million they'd be quite right till it took that because I think he's a better player than Tombo when he was at Motherwell and Tombo was a good player, a bit Motherwell and so maybe be quite right till we're working after ourselves to work that money and I think he has entered in just team and also some people have said he's a good player than that. I'll get away barons came in and I think he'd be saving I think that could potentially be Rangers midfielders for the next 10 year having baron and obviously if you wanted to move on now you could make money on them but I think I'd be going right after my law and I know we're seeing a bit we need to prioritize our positions or that we're going to need to prioritize just getting a good signing in and worry about the other ones we don't get and that's when we need to get alone in the positions that I'm a fan and my dog must be a fan because he never brought you down there to go mental about him. David, any photos in Red and Miller, I thought it was okay yesterday but again it's not always the games against Rangers and you need a judge no more because it should tend to be an uphill battle and when all teams do change the way they play but I think it's fair to say he does consistently perform against the rest day the league maybe with Rangers and Celtic all the way they'd have a good games against Rangers last season so don't think yesterday's a fair assessment and what's your thoughts on the player? think I think we should be getting all these young players calling but it's just unfortunate that we don't seem to have a scout system that's picking up these players I mean there's an awful lot of young Scottish players I mean there's even your Scottish players getting moved down south and then you think we've got scouts sitting in the boom and doorstep how the heck can a scout come from England and we have more knowledge about players than we then range yourself and I really find that that's strange I mean so is it the boy Conway the boys down there 31 year olds I think those I find those I want our money through in the streaming system and then going to notice for the shows they have but for whether or for young players I think we need to be fair there but I think to your point time Bailey Rice is lucky if he's getting on to adventure things and I think that's the biggest thing as well that we don't get to see these young guys we can and we cut and it's good to get them out
