[Music] [Music] Hello folks, and welcome to your Thursday night live show here at the Gallant Fearing Just podcast. I'm your host for the evening Andrew Stewart and with me to a good chance tonight discussing the gels. Firstly, David, how are you, my man? Yeah, great mate. Just been away for a couple of days on the sun on a boat and been a wee bit burnt. I must admit, but no, a wee bit more positive, I think, than I've been for the last few while. So, yeah, wouldn't you have quite a positive forecast tonight. I put another pound in the jar of David mentioned, it's a lot warmer where he is compared to where it is here. And also tonight, Jack, who I am at? I'm good mate, what be yourself? Yeah, not too bad. I mean, as I said, I mean, I posted, we're going at the 94th minute. I was a wee bit happier than I was in the 90th, second and third minute after the game the other night. But I'm sure that's being also felt the same way by all our fans, the Wearing Just Support across the globe and also our lovely support watching tonight. Again, hello to all the listeners watching back as well. I think we're going to have a good show tonight. We'll start, as we always do, and what's difficult now to get back into the spring of things. We've actually got football to talk about, but the way we left off last year is for games we were always discussed, the team line up. So, Rangers were forced into one change. Obviously, Oscar Cortez, picked up his injury at 10 Casso, which was less than ideal. And also Ben Davies was replaced by Leon Balgin. That then meant the team that played was Jack Butler to go. James Tavernier, John Sutter, Leon Balgin, Red Vignellmas, Mohamed DeAmandé, Connor Barren, Tom Lawrence, Ross McCousland, Scott Wright, and Sireel Dessels. Not feeling too bad saying that last guy's name now, funnily enough, but what we're going to discuss though is obviously the changes that were forced and the extra change made for Leon Balgin. David T, Oscar Cortez, at times we've seen him in his short time, has to be said on the park. Seeing glimpses of how good he can be, but obviously with that injury, it's setting him back. It was obviously going to be a change in that position. Obviously, maybe not the player I was expecting to come in for Cortez, but how were you with Miss McCousland coming in to start? Well, I quite owe it, Ross, I thought you were going to say you were expecting my tone to come in, and then Andrew, and then I went. No, I think, no, because when coming in, I know I think it was way good. Unfortunately, on the left hand side, Scott Wright come in, and I don't want to start with a Scott Wright bashing day, but I'm afraid it was... On his birthday? On his birthday? On his birthday? Well, it's mainly happening at times. I hope you return to Aberdeen. No, I think... I quite hate McCousland. I think he's... whether he's a player, I mean, I think chair leap, when he came on, I think you could see that chair leap is a really good player. He's obviously not up there to speak, but I think he's going to be a really good player. I don't know whether you want me to go in, Phil, when the left go further with the left, when the position at the moment happened in the second half, I'll probably leave that till you bring it in. I'll go on to a certain Brazilian later on. Not too far in the future, but it's a nice way to kind of hint the wheel we're heading. Jack, I'll bring in in the debate we kind of had in discussion before this match up, which was if it was fit, we would want proper to play, and then he was going to be his defensive partner. We didn't get that. Obviously, there was a lot going on in his week by the sounds of it from the gaffer. So with Balagan and Sutter, we're happy to see Ben Davies being brought out with the squad that I know he divided the opinion at time, Casio. I'm probably not a good judge of character or judge of ability, I mean, just because people won't have a soft spot for a lot of players. But there was a unanimous amount of support saying that he was probably the worst of the two, so Balagan coming in, and were you happy with that decision? I was happy with Balagan coming in. I liked it to have been way proper, but also that didn't happen. See the fair on even Ben Davies, Sutter was the much better than him at time, Casio. You know, saying you were better than Ben Davies, doesn't he make you brilliant. He was just a bit better, I know. And when it started February Monday, it was like, "Oh, proper is no way of playing this game, Ben. I can have rumours, can I broke?" Tuesday, the proper Mike play, and then Ben Alina was on his day with me playing, so when I've seen that, I was a bit lit, or no. And if fingers as well, seeing Balagan comes in, I always think he doesn't play two games in a row, so I think what's that mean for this weekend is if Proples know where they're friends at, Ben Davies back in, but no, it's probably Sutter would drop out after what I've seen on Tuesday. Yeah, it's an interesting one. I'm probably going to hear a wee bit more from the mange. I'm going to guess tomorrow the press conferences will be before the model will game. We'll mention that two players that have been, you know, at the shining stars of a very pure preseason defensive, I don't know if they said defensive midfield, but are kind of two-star words in the midfield of Conor Baden and Mohamed DeAmandé. David T, I've been a lot of talk about, you know, this midfield three, Tom Lordin's been in there ahead of the two of them. Has he been the right player? Is he the perfect player to be in front of those two? It's one of these things where a lot of talk of your can't wear with your hadges. Tom Lordin's just seems to be consistently the gaffers pick in that kind of tip of the midfield. When I'll be honest with you, see the last two games I've actually thought dole when he came on, actually done better than I've seen from Warren's. I would actually go to give him a wee bit more time in the game because I really think he's been quite good when he's come on the last two games. I think Mindy, I didn't think of his best game. In fact, I thought at times he struggled a wee bit and the best midfield that we've got at the minute, as his name's just went out. It's Aaron, Conor Baden, and yeah, I think that the two of them are going to be doing good, but I think we need, we really need a player in the midfield that can put his foot in the ball, that can go with the use of one of these players. It just looks comfortable in the ball and sprays them all about, and I think that's what we need. I don't think we need, I don't know whether that will then take away a 10 because I don't really know whether we're playing with players that we need a 10. I would rather see the amount in Conor Baden probably get pushed a wee bit more forward, and a player coming in that can spray them all. I hate to say it, but a young Barriefer gets in, they could take control of the midfield, and Barriefer is obviously not one of my favourite players, certainly in the beginning he was, but what happened out, weight of them, I would not do with that great on him, but that kind of player, I think we really need to push the among these, so further forward, because I think he's, I think we're wasting point him in this sort of a two-man defensive role, I don't think that's his best position. Jack, I'm going to bring up a comment similar to what Dave is just finishing up there on, and having the deal slightly further up the park in the 10. Obviously, our man like Doge, as he's getting a lot of Instagram posts about Doge and Sterling made the bench, and it's going to be a debate, especially after the amount of positions he played last season about where he'll best fit into this range, just him. There was a lot of talk of Tavenia, obviously, being moved on, which made the option to play him right back more consistently feasible, but now that Tavenia played the last two games, I thought you had a decent performance last night, one last night, Tuesday night. Doge on could be back into the midfield, do you think he could do that defensive midfielder on the low deal to go forward? He's definitely a player that can play there. That's where I've already most impressed with Sterling, is in front of the two centre halves, and where two midfielders in front of him, and where he's filled backs, able to push, and he can cover that, that's been my favourite position for Sterling, but because he's versatile, he gets moved about. I noticed when he came on, I thought, I'll say that Tavenia, the decent game in Tuesday, at this best game in a while, defensively, he was actually solid, because he needs to get the cos on the front of him, but it's like when Kindes was there, the what cap boy does to allow the play to go in the right hand side, and see if Sterling's in there as a triangle, that's the way I've been moving forward, that would benefit fact-side to the pitch, and the two midfielders in front of him, so if Sterling's fit, he's got to go into that can I destroy your position in the middle of the park? David T, I know last season was filled with some mixed opinions about the skipper, as myself and Jack have both mentioned, he had the, I believe a fairly good game, a party party, and past marks, which in the last season, running to have, you know, wasn't consistently getting to a lot of the support, past marks, and in some, I think, in truth tonight, I thought, as Jack said, defensively, you know, he was pretty sound, still managing to try and get forward, he's kind of drifted into midfield, sometimes it felt like, and obviously with my cos and, you know, being there and having the energy he has to cover him, I think I'm not going to get ahead of myself, but it's a decent, you know, it's a definitely a step up from his performance at time, so Jankie, you can carry that on into the weekend. I think having here actually plays better without corner goals, and to be honest with you, I think there's been corner goals and further real issues, I think having here started to be better, but to be honest with you, I think his legs are not where they were, to put it politely, I think we need to be looking to put a different player in there, I don't know why the vibe isn't sort of going to move up, I thought the vibe was actually looking quite good at that in that position, I mean, I'm not saying drop, tab, definitely out the whole system, keep him as a, but I really think we need to start looking at a younger player that's getting better legs and tabbing here, because I definitely think his legs are away, and you say I'm not getting out of the field the way as he used to, and he's not the only one that can take penalties at that time, so if we're going to just keep him for penalties, and he certainly is gross, I mean, how many crosses did he have that were sort of a way off in the last two games, and then I start to think, yeah, probably going to cost is more than you're going to help us, so I think it's time that we certainly need to get him, but I'm not, I'm not, I'm not for drop getting rid of him, and for me, it needs to be a squad player and not a best player. Jack, I mean, we've kind of rounded out a kind of positional, you know, analysis on the starting start and shoot some of the players on the bench, kind of get into the game, I mean, I mean, just, I don't want to say out we're overrun by give, but I did feel like we took a lot of the first half to kind of get into the swing of things and kind of get a feet under as it felt like at times, and I don't know what it's hard to say, because I was a shaking game, I was a shaking competitive game of our season compared to, I think it's give third, the one game of a difference, but both legs of the previous qualifying round, I don't want to attribute that to it, I mean, it could well be something like that, and we weren't maybe not match sharp in these competitive matches, but it did feel like we were maybe pulling a punches early in that game. Well, I suppose we are way team in a European game, so I'd expect home team, like I'd expect the Weber home team to take a game around, where we are very quick from, middle to front, I'm going to get him, see when they're going at the Elmer Field, it was a very quick turn, and that was any of the Elmer Fielders, it was a turn, and it was very positive, when we had players like Kimara and Ryan Kent, for example, that was always a very done thing about when you're up quick, turn in a way and put the game on the rim, but I actually thought we'd deal with no too bad, because we'll keep what they've done, a part of Zambir Gray to I don't think I've dumped these, you know what I mean, so it could have been worse, I thought we held our own, and the goal we lost was entirely done, to naive it, if you're a couple of players on earth, so it wasn't like they actually broke us down much, you know what I mean, we're dead, I thought they were quite solid to deal with against a decent team. David, we're going to the goal then, it wasn't right on the stroke of half-time, but not the best time, you can say the 38th minute, go from Andrea Malenko, one of the kind of standard names in that Kiev team, kind of started from maybe, I don't want to say shooting ourselves in the foot, but I believe Red Man almost dealing on the ball, kind of getting picked off, and you know they make a ball across the face, which from looking back I think it's again to some of the goals last season, maybe a lack of communication between the back line, maybe men not tracking the runners, looking over their shoulder, and obviously we go behind, at that point in the game, not ideal to say the least, but still playing at the game to go on and just had to, you know, as I was saying, I thought we were struggling maybe to to keep up with the pace, but I think it maybe was a wake-up goal for some of the players. I'm just not that into Red Van Yomar as I must admit, I just don't think he's a good defender, I don't think he's a good away bag. He wasn't back to the ball in the bus, he wouldn't join him in the ball in the bus last season, it wasn't back to what we had, at least we knew he was rubbish, but I don't know, I haven't mentioned that, and it's something different. Obviously, the ball in the ball was finished as well, to be honest with you, but that doesn't make Red Van a better player, and I think Red Van was all over the place. I think teams have noted that it seems to pull in to the, I don't know whether he's close to the centre halves, which we use a normal water room for that one ball, out to that wing, out to the right wing for the other team or the left wing, and we've been caught at heartstead it so often, and that team, he had done it in the Thursday as well, and I think Red Van was all over the place, to be honest with you, I don't think he'd done a whole great, I think he'd done better when the F take him on, and I was going to say, the best thing was a shift in the right direction when he came on, so I really think that it helped him when shift came on, but I'm sorry, I just don't rate Red Van, I just don't, I can't get into the, I think he's far too small for the first Scottish football for a star, he's always wacking in the air, and I don't know if he tries, I mean, it's not the first time he tried and against Kiev, he played a few times against hers, but when I thought, what the hell are you doing? No, he's not least, I'd be quite happy if Gio comes in, we've received this with an offer for him, I would be quite happy to be honest with you. Jack, it's almost a kind of catch 22 because, you know, our Brazilian wonder kid, as some of the fans of the claim, who has primarily brought in to be our left back cover, there's now maybe out showing the left back position and wants to take a step further, he certainly looked sharp and something new and some of the dangers in that second half on the left wing position, so with David's assessment of Red Van, are we kind of cutting it at a loop of, well, we could use Jeff Debut, are we losing more than we're gaining? See, I'm going to echo David a bit, see when Red Van first came in, 36-mo enough, that's a really good sign in, and Bona's legs were starting to go before his age, they can come in and do the team for each other, spoil them, and it never really happened to start by, then Bona went to the World Cup by Croatia, and Adam Devine actually played that left back for a few games to do that, so it wasn't until the end of Bio's season that Red Van got into the team, and then even the start of last season, Bona came back in, and Bona was a Shelly Cell, but he was still, and well, and he just finds out no agree with this, but to me, I thought you'd get more at a born again for when you're done at Red Van, because he's first touch, I always think it's all over the place, I think Red Van is based, if he wins a ball, he likes to be in a wee bit in the field and go driving, but that doesn't happen a lot, nearly because there's a five-man midfield, so he's just going to crash into him, and he's not getting a physicality to scale to good in him, so it's, it's probably no over most of his prone position, but if Jeff came, if thanks for the old Jeff Jay was seen, it came only on night in the other one, was seen in the pre-season games, I think he could be getting a jersey. He certainly did himself, no harm in any second half performance, we'll get into the second half, obviously, Davey's new favourite after one's jumps left, he's got right, comes off at half-time, and our Brazilian window kit comes in, and I'm only going to start calling that because I've still, I'm not 100% sure on the pronunciation, give it a couple more games in it, and I'll be ditching the window kit tag and giving him his real name, so that I don't get brandished with the senseless range of fans over hyping players, but it certainly looked sharp, I mean there's no denying it, it was, when he got the ball, he was always willing to go forward, some of his passing was pretty sharp, I was very pleased with it, Davey T, I know, wait, you hinted it earlier, watch out your thoughts on the winger that we have here on our hands, potentially. That's just it, come on as a winger, and I thought he was, he done it, I mean he done far more than Scott Wright, done in the fall of the first half, some of the balls he put in were absolutely spot on with pace, which always has a defend up top line, and I thought he'd done well whether he can do the same from left back, and he's defensive, qualities, and as a left back, I don't know, but I would certainly, at the moment, instead of Cortez, I would certainly have rather have gifted there a Scott Wright stock out there, and yeah, I'm sorry Andrew, but I think I would rather have him there as my turn do as well, because I just don't see it with my turn do, so as you say it, I think you've got a pair of these guacis on where you get, and as a prize at the fairgrounds, with my turn do's coming out the top of it. My turn do tended specs, yes, it's very much something that I've been accused of in the past, I'm all wholeheartedly agree with. I think the assessment is small, and I think this kind of looks like he's ready to have a go, and in most sense, I mean, he's worked great, so maybe a wee bit raw in some places, he was obviously chasing down, but not having that kind of an active alkyl step off of him though, because he was one where he was chasing something down, he did really well to get close to him, but then bundles him over, he gives away the full tube plane, you're going, come on, I'm one of those silly ones, but just staying on him, I mean it's we're going to have an interesting team sheet, I think ahead of them all the way obviously, because they're still being out for a while, well that performance from jeffy's maybe swear the manager into considering them their long term, well Scott Wright again resurrects himself to be on that wing, well I mean, man Rabi, make that position as for the weekend, where's your thoughts, where do you stand for that position for the weekend's lineup? I think jeffy, I don't know how you can you play a mister at performance when he came on, you'd want something to build on that kind of forum right away, where we'd make no sense to put him in a bench, and oh Scott Wright always somehow managed to get in somewhere, but I think my cousin's probably going to get the gills, if they're right hand side in Chinese, probably head to him now, and metondo way never came on, would be the guy, maybe a good come on in a left for jeffy's, I've got a feeling, but going away to play jeff during that position against Kiev, so if you were able to get yourself in a comfortable position against mother well, I think metondo would come on for him in a game, handing me another guy, a bitch could suit metondo, because it seems to suit, he's got a very obvious servo, and he's big, it's fine, but if you've got a bit of pace about your hand and you beat your mind, you've got a lot of room to run in, so metondo could be good on that, and cheer me, it was really good and everyone really impressed, I'm growing it a goal, some great line cut, no 100% convinced you where they start a game, bro. We'll get into that kind of good play, because I certainly, I'm going to have it in a small agenda, that we really started to come into our game in the second half, I wonder if it's that halftime team talk from come on, or even just that that change could have maybe just weighed the team into the right direction. Theivity, we really started, I think we really started to put Kiev into some tough sports, I mean, I thought at times oppression was good, I think we pressed harder, I mean, I'd say that during pre-season, we had a catch 22 in the press where we do really well to put the back line in the pressure, they'd put it long, but in the long ball putting on as an under pressure maybe felt like we shouldn't have been pressing them in the first place, but I think we certainly came into the game in the second half. I certainly think we deserved it, with the win, I mean, I think it was in the first half, my calls wouldn't hit the post, and then obviously my dancers had a bit four missed chances before, a bit more than we were going to the goal, and that's unfortunate. I was saying during the game when I was watching it, we train and hit the goalkeeper or something, because every shot we seem to have, the goalkeeper hardly needs to move, all he needs to do is put his fist up and either punch the ball or every ball seems to go, so that's something I was thinking of, obviously, you hope you'll get a goal in the last minute, obviously, we've been watching the World Cup, where goals are scored in the last minute, and we thought, oh, well, maybe we'll try that, and it worked, so, I think we did play better, but I think we all honestly had a deserved draw for a fact, and maybe even deserved, possibly the win, and the good chances that we had, because he didn't know that amount, a good chances, to be honest with you. Jack, I mean, as David's saying, a load of shots, but maybe straight down the keeper, sometimes shooting from outside the box hasn't be something that, you know, we've started, well, we hadn't really been using as often, it's been one of those critiques I've had of the, you know, Lawrence, who definitely can hit them, DM Andy scored some good goals from outside the box, tail on the last season, caught up Aaron's got an absolute screamer for Aberdeen against, but in the last season, we've got the players, especially out apart from a striker that can take these shots, have a goal, it was nice having went out short, the key ever after being out shot by hearts at the weekend, although, as David said, some of them maybe not as threatening as we'd like them to be, I think they're kind of shooting from outside the box and trying to test the keeper, I'm definitely so happy that we're adding this to our game. Hi, when you've got players that can hit a shot, then I'm all for it, I actually thought the one at once, I took a start on days or so, I actually think they catch them too cleanly, I see you figure a wee bit made, just off it and maybe a wee scuff off the ground, might have done me a damage, but they seem to hit anyone quite cleanly, I think it was the one the second half was alone, so I had a good one, a second half as well, but you catch the cleanly, I'm all for that plate getting shot, so we have always been for that, I don't know why in fact born our teams weren't able to walk into the net, I feel like we've been trying to do this for years, and you end up getting the ball into the section of the box, and there's also the most instinctive striker, so he either wants to take a touch or there's no right on it, get me a shot, run about the edge of the box and that and you'll get success with it, I mean, as David said about how we get the draw out of the game, see if we could equalise on the 85th minute, I think it was a one net game, I thought we had a dollar a minute, I'm better at point. This season Instacart has your back to school, as in they've got your back to school lunch favourites like snack packs and fresh fruit, and they've got your back to school supplies, like backpacks, binders and pencils, and they've got your back when your kid casually tells you they have a huge school project to do tomorrow, let's face it, we were all that kid. Linked in, the place to be, to be. So we have danced about the goal, we've mentioned a few times, David T. I know it's, you were saying you've been, are we enjoying yourself the last few days, and before the game there was a clip that went round on social media, and the pre-game press conference with Leon Baligan and the gaffer, where Leon Baligan of all people was asked, do you still have the faith in serial vessels to, to essentially to come good as the ranger striker? I'd like to know how that guy's feeling now, after serial gets into the right position, strokes the ball home, and with one of the coolest celebrations I've seen from him, and has been quite a few. He certainly knows how to celebrate, if only he could hit the back of the network a bit more, sends the ranger fans in their way in, mental as they say limbs in their way in. How are we feeling about the big man now? I mean, it's just going to be a debate we're always going to have game to game, it feels like it, but certainly one of us in the ring just support with that goal. It was a good goal, and I always said that it doesn't really score important goals, but the problem with him is, is the games where you get one chance, he seems to miss it, and that's, and if you've got the player that I would have been told to be shank one, the player I would have loved to get in, although it's probably a free range, it's made of skate fun from Aberdeen, and I just think he gives how many games have you seen him, he said one chance, and he puts it in the net, and that's a kind of player, but I definitely always think that there's a place for theirs in this squad, I definitely do, whether it's a, I mean, I think we should have two strikers with that fight, for each other, that fight, for the, for the, for the place, we've always had that, we've always, we've always had two strikers, they can score goals, and we seem to know it just be stuck on one person getting goals, I'm not going to say that we should, we should go back to 4-4-2, but I certainly think that we should, we should, we should have a player up with, up with the striker, the main striker should have 25-26 goals a season, but we should also have a player that's up in the 18, 18-22 goals a season, and for me that will then be dangerous, and I would prefer that we bring in a striker that's going to up to the 25-26, 27-28 goals a season, I think that's the one, and whether the essence is out of that, that player, that you will get up there and doubt it, because I think he must see too many chances for it, I don't know, Daniel will still offer such a command, although I've been reading reports today that, yeah, Quemon's not very happy in playing him, the, the fight is just meeting him, it's useful that he's not going to get the, the, the, the minutes, if you don't give him minutes he won't get minutes, so we, we don't know, he, he played, he played in the, the pre-season friendlies, so why is all of a sudden not even getting five or ten minutes, I don't know, but there seems to be something so funny there, so whether that's, but at the area of time we need to bring in a striker, a good striker, and I'll, please, please, please don't mention Schreibund. That could be, and it has been, obviously that could be a whole of the podcast and itself, it certainly has been, over the last few months at least. Well, I, I most put on that topic, obviously with Dessus, winning over the, the hearts, minds of the ninja support, and again, Daniel won the bench, but didn't feature Jack, I was, something that I was, when I told my hero to 10 castle, because it felt like Dessus couldn't score that day, and we had some good chances in didn't score that day, so the wise option would have been we'll change the striker then, we've got him in the bench, why not use him, there must be something that, if it was public, which I would lead to suspect, suspect would be fitness, and I'm coming off of his injury, do you think that I'd always been on the bench last two games all the way, or again, maybe too soon for him? Yeah, I think definitely, I was doing bumming him a couple weeks ago for a friend late, and he reminded me of Chris Boyton years ago when he came back, he was so heavy and legged, just even he's touched like TV, you know that when somebody was back for an injury, let me hijack him back about 18 months ago, that kind of first couple of games, all you can tell have been up for a long time, it's written all over him, and I think, I think it was telling in the sub last night when Barriman off, anyway, they're changing midfield, instead they're changing up front because there was at least a fit midfield that they keep the game going fresh, and maybe something about extra, I'm sorry, but I've seen Danielo, and I liked him last season, but I think he has got a long way to go before he's ready to play football, and again, against Motherwell where you're going, everything a lot of running, to get in behind in the hand in Park, it's not a game I'd be bringing him in, he had to be amazed if he started that game, and for fingers as well, I know people who say a bit about that, but he's no get their responsibility for him, he's not split, he's missing more chances, he tells me the other strike, he tells Tim Miss chances as well, it's just such a what load do you guys have on him? Yeah, I mean, sorry Andrew, when you look at what at the time, so this is a stuck-up of the field alone, totally sitting alone, their own striker, there's no players getting up near them, and that's a what to do with what you, if we can get, I mean, sometimes we get the ball of the park, and you look at the area, and there's one player, and four four or five defenders, and that happens too often, and you look at other teams, I mean, yeah, I hate to say, look at them, see when they get up the park, there's a bit four or five in the box, or right at the edge of the penalty area, and that's where we seem to like, we don't seem to get enough bodies into the box, and around the box, quick enough, and yeah, I think that's a big downfall in our park, and that's obviously to do with the with the riders, also my tone though, they've got to get in there, and I said that last week against half, there was a ball bit across, and there was four players, about players in the box, but they're all on one line, there was absolutely nobody trying to get to the front post, no they tried, there was absolutely no movement, they were just standing in one line, so as well, you just have in one play in the box, because there's a whole area in one play up the hit. I think that's the fun swing I've seen in the South, it goes at weekend, when the ball goes in the box, see where when there's the attack in the back post, or attacking by the fielder, makes it on across the six yard box, see since players are able to tell them an encounter left, an encounter would get it from those go-and-goes, but you hit the movement, any kind of attack areas, that would pull the fences away to place. I said it certainly had to be, I'm just looking at, it's just calling coefficient, if you don't know who he is, and what I'd get to know, it's one of these in the know, if you want to know something about, especially Europe, have a look, because the answer will be there, just obviously we have mentioned, we're lacking maybe, as this player, that player, our position, and this position, it's one each heading to, I was going to say at home, but we'll try and make it home at least, with, you know, what, in the previous seasons, I would have suggested with the confidence of early kind of qualifying, you know, rounds under the belt for, I'd say, GRL teams, I think we have a path that we should be able to take to the Champions League proper, and in doing so, gives us a wee bit more money leverage, I mean it's not, I'm not saying we're going, you're bringing an embap here, I'm not saying we're now, went from right to the riches, but it maybe loosens up the, you know, the past strings that wee bit for us to maybe go and make one more addition, or one, you know, maybe I'll be higher of a transfer, if you addition, some people have been saying, SEMA potential, like someone like that, do you, you're saying to someone like that, that I know he's out, specifically left wing, but someone that can go up and support has to be a priority, David. So, is that the meander, yeah, and yeah, well, I mean, we're talking about different, we're talking about bringing in different players, and unfortunately, the managers are already being told, we need to sell players first, we need to get players out of the door, and unfortunately, we don't seem to be, we seem to be failing, and that part of the deal that we're not getting players out of the door, we can't, well, win in the B team, and with the Haggie point in the B team, the manager's virtual, I said, Haggie's no chance, he doesn't want him, and Haggie doesn't want to be here, but the problem is, like, no, no, this seems to be interested in taking him over, and I've seen, I mean, I hate, I hate, I'm not going to even mention the name of a paper, but I've got his paper with Sydney that Haggie's going to be leaving for free, unless, I see, when you've got this paper, they're telling you the one side, that one of the players is worth, not worth 15 million, but he's worth 30 million, and then, I've seen a Rangers player who's played in the World Cup with the weight of the European Cup, so it's going to be the weight, and done very well in the European Cup, they're telling you that he's going to be leaving for free, and we're fighting against that as well, and that's one thing, but we need to get, we do need to get rid of some, we can't even keep bringing in players, and have 60-70 sitting up in the stand, we were first down as first team players, I mean, I actually had that a few years ago, there was more up in the stand than there was in the squad, I'm 60-70s always, but they've scored a 40 that were actually bought for the first team, and there was about 17 or 18 just sitting every week on the stand, we can't afford that, we can't afford the wages, so we really need to get rid of players, first of all we can't keep bringing in players, when we've still got the same squad getting big wages, and that's what we need to get rid of first, and yes, we do need to bring in players, definitely do. Jack, obviously that was stated by the club and I know it's one of these things, but after our players are going to be moved on, I have a feeling that we're sitting in a similar situation to the Joey Vierman kind of transfer, where I think it was Malmo and the Champions League last call firing around if we could beat them and getting the Champions League money, then we would make that move as we would have earned it about more money at that time, I think if we were to beat Kiev and to beat Salzburg or Twent, I was at Twent, I was at my FC-20. Yeah, but it's not a sense that it was on the primary sports commentary, they gave it the proper pronunciation, but I don't know why he'll be better to tell us in that one, David T. No, I think I'll be better than I will be a spectator, it's FC-20 and I'll tell you, no, it's hotel again, it's not proper, it's proper, so that's it. I would trust you, you're the man in the know for that region, I would trust you on that one. Yeah, if we were to get by that tie as well, I think I'd go some minimum earnings and then the league phase of the Champions League is £43 million. I mean, it's nice to put into the, you know, our annual financial status, but a lot of the main just fans want to see that money being spent, especially if there's so many positions that need, you know, rebuilt. There's been a lot of talk about players, maybe on loan, but at one hand will maybe, it was that it was, we were looking at loan, but they went to Salem permanently, there's always that link of SEMA and I know there's been questionable rumours about the boy for Chelsea today that feel like maybe we are maybe sitting on the edge of if we can get through that round that we will be more forward-thing and maybe going to it and, you know, put teams under pressure and say, well, we are willing to, you know, make an offer here. I don't think the claimant would be in the job app always signing our deal with he does the hink, he's getting something to spend, very into the window. I know we're sitting on the squad, I've got to know, we've got this key of games, we don't know, I mean, we've been out and bought some day for a few more, we need to get beat off him next week in the year. You have no go at money, so unfortunately, I can see why we're doing that. People want a rebound, rebounds work when you've got money and good young players waiting in the rings and good squad players pushing you on. Disney work when you're not getting a lot of money in for the players, you're getting rid of it and you've lost all the players last season for nothing. So the rebound will not be great as the actual own claimant or owner's and who it's been. This is the last five years, I know doing recruitment pro player at all. I still think weight is, I say, probably the spine minimum. So if we're running a chance like we're still need to get another cent or half, another cent on mid and a striker, and trading for me have got to be established permanent signings and maybe like, see if like a Joe Warrotite became available in loan, let me go a few years ago to play a cent or half, because I think, I mean, I know a rebound, he's big as far out of time, but he's developed, isn't he? He would walk into your team in cent or half, if we get a player like in loan just now. So I bet the bear, my mum is by two quality players that come in and probably our own player feed them south, who's good enough to come into your team, but we probably don't get to keep, just because that's the way it is, unfortunately. Well, we'll move on to this weekend's match. Obviously, it's weird seeing it, but our first home game of the season at Hamden Park, yep, I'll say it again, our first home match, our home opener at Hamden Park, David Yates, I think it's going to be a weird day that the atmosphere might be a little bit, you know, I don't want to say disjointed, but it'll feel awkward as it should be, it's not our home ground, it's not eyebrows, but we can't let that, you know, play in the mines, wave, slipped up, I know it, the hearts will show that they are, they were the third best team in the league, and on occasion beat Celtic and, you know, gave us a real good run last season, but it's too early in the season to be dropping significant points, we need to get back into the swing of things and put our, you know, our league campaign back in the right direction, Motherwell, obviously, somewhat as at the weekend, and now now against Ross County, we can't have any excuses, I know we mentioned that disjointed feeling, but there can't be any excuses, surely. No, it is a second game, we should be getting out too bad, and we should win it, wasn't with a brilliant atmosphere, it hammed in before, and why, why no, why no, this weekend, it does, I don't think it should matter, wherever you go anywhere, the Rangers supporters make a great atmosphere, and that, that's the way it should be as well, and you go anywhere, that was a PSV year, last year, and watched it, they gave me one, atmosphere was absolutely fantastic, we were actually making more noise than, than the PSV, and it was only a small area, so if we fell hammed, it wasn't, it should be buzzing, it should be, it doesn't matter where you are, how, it, we should be buzzing, and we should be making, actually bringing the roof off, and that, that's one thing, I mean, you go to European games, and there's absolutely fantastic atmosphere, and yet some week games, it's come work, it's just, it's just the, the union bears that you hear, and I don't understand that, it was kept behind it, hopefully the, the second section gets, gets grown, and, and more and more people actually start saying, because that, that, that, that's, no, we've got to get behind the team, obviously what happens in the first half an hour, or obviously make a big difference, if obviously we've got to go, work two goals in the first half hour, then atmosphere will come up, but we've, we've got to get behind the team, and the lesson, the team can't do anything about, no, what's hammed at eyebrows, it's not the team's fault, the team can't do anything about a financial state, what they can do is they can go and buy the best for the supporters, it turn up every week, and that's, that's what we want to see, 100% from the players, and 100% from the support, and hopefully things will kick on from there. Jack, I'll, I'll come to you again, and, and our hand in who do, I suppose, that we've got to deal with, we've had, you know, the most recent match at hand, and didn't go away the cup final, but you know, there's been some good times, I would be on the lead cup, obviously last season, so I, I went in the semi final and the final at hand, and I think there's, there's no excuse to definitely go and try and make it our home for this, that, I know it's that the way people hang on and say, no, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's our job as a supporter, to get behind the team, wherever they play, and I know what hand in can be, if you're behind the goal, it can be, it can be an awful day, it can shift the way it is, the stadium, but there's no excuse to know, get behind the team, wait, it's our job to give the, the, the lads, that extra yard, the pace, that extra 15 minutes of hard run towards the end of the park, the end of the match, you know, that's, that's our job as a support, and we're just gonna have to go and do it. I, the whole hand in situation, the only people's fault is, isn't it, as the players and the fans, so we can only get in, support, and making gears is something to get behind, a day, I'm always positive about hand in his day, sorry, like, I really don't enjoy going, I don't think a lot of people enjoy going, and till the, have we won the lead cut last year in Gio's Cup, the last 10 years, got your hand in, it's been horrible, let's no kid on, most of it, probably 80% of the time going, it's no being enjoyable at all, I, I wonder how a lot of fans who, so I know you eat a good atmosphere, but that's normally in a 50/50 split, again, sell to you, get a 50/50 split against Tim's and a Cup final ever, seeing it's going to be a 40, 7, 48,000, not very comfy as your eyebrows, I hope we go off to a good start, because we know what eyebrows is like when you're sitting quite comfy, I don't, I don't want it to be like when the false stadiums act, when you can hardly see a hang behind the goals, so the players as well, the fans need to get right back a team, and the players need to be right on it, because if no, it'll no be any atmosphere, and I've got this, this plant-off ticket, which is confusing people, this QR, I've never had QR's at hand, and it's just always been a normal match ticket, everybody's going here towards West End, because that's natural where they go, I'm just, no, I'm going to be honest, I'm going to look forward to the hand, and I'm sorry if I've been negative, but it's just no fun me, I wish we'd assaulted something, I know it's hard, but I wish we would just have got to stadium, ready and get us back in there, that's your stadium. Yeah, that's how long in the short of it is, that it's no ideal, but we're just going to have to deal with it, and Sunday night, we're going to have another live show to discuss that game, this feels like an early-most win game, especially against a team that, you know, they do now again, so it's currently in their first game, we need to go and win this game, it's so difficult to say anything other than that, but folks that'll wrap us up for this evening, I'll end with thanking my guests and getting a prediction from both of them for that game against Motherwell at the weekend, David Teeth, thank you for coming on again, as you always are, are a loyal servant, and what is your prediction for the game at the weekend? Well, I think my first prediction is that I don't think too far officials will get arrested the Motherwell game, I think the Scottish part, well, I don't know, obviously you've quite a few Scottish part, I don't know how to think of it, but yeah, I think, as I usually just should win, obviously Motherwell are a team that can sort of be a pain in the back side at times, well, I think they obviously would be as a last time out, which was the beginning of the end of her fantasy of winning the league, and I think, I'm going to go for three now. A three now, confident, I wish you for a second, what if you wasn't? Can I push you for a score on that in those three, David? I'll go for Jeremy getting one, and I'll go for Desser's getting two. Desser's double, cheeky Desser's double? I'll refrain from saying that Scott right, I'll get one, because I'll be not played. Man, never disappoint on that, the hallow tough at hand, and Jack, thank you for coming on tonight, thanks for your insight and your thoughts on the game on Tuesday, what's your prediction for this weekend's game? I'm unfortunate he's already took it with a three now, I said that earlier on, but actually, see if we play the first half, we're going to play the last half here, we'll be doing it by half time in my opinion, and because we've got a big game on Tuesday, maybe make a subs and whatever, so I'll go for three now, unfortunate subs that Cabones know a lot of goals in their subs, because of the striker's situation, so I'll go for a few now. Mother, we are quite bad for getting further away, so maybe I'll tell you a few kicks, and Desser's double. Desser's double, the man is doing wonders to turn around these first season, turbulent, fan support levels, but I think that's the Tuesday night effect for the man. In this prediction game, do we think Proper will get a start? He's got a Tinty, he can't even have played the game in the first 10 days, after such a big deal with it, so you know him? Well I've seen a lot in the comments saying that we should start with the same team that finished in Thursday. No, I think he'll just sit there, but then Proper would be in a start. I don't think, I think, sort of the way we keep our head to the jersey after the early night, but I will have to unfortunately go one less than both of my two current parts. I think I'll be better too now. I think it'll be comfortable, and I think we'll go for the rotation. Obviously, that's the way we're going to have to be with some of some injuries, some people coming back who maybe aren't feeling match, but I'm obviously having an eye on, you know, I return to it, I get back to Hamden on Tuesday for that second leg. I'll say it with my two now. I think this is well scored. I want to say at the Amandigo potentially. I'd like to say I'm going to be a bit more further up the park. I think he's going to energy a bond that we'll see if he can maybe get involved in this scoring. Obviously, I'd take a one-nil off the back of somebody's head or the bottom of somebody's boot, as long as it's a one-nil for the gels. But whatever happens at Hamden at the weekend, we'll be back here Sunday night for the usual. At last, I can say to all the viewers, thank you very much for joining us this evening.
