This is the five minute focus for August 14th, 2024. Hey, you know what? That's a Thursday. (loud bang) Now, from the high mountains of free America, here's the emerald city exile, Todd Herman. (upbeat music) - Today is the day the Lord has made in these are the times to which God has decided to live. Five minute focus is my opportunity to share with you what's coming up in the next couple hours of podcasting in an easy way to share the show with friends. We heard you, mostly audio podcast listeners, which is where we get most of our impressions as it were in the ad business, in the media business. We heard you, you don't like the quick clip things. It's over, back to full shows, albeit though with different music for the second hour. Full show is gonna be three stories so we can really focus down on them. We'll keep the first hour the same. It's just basically the radio show in podcast format. Episode 1796 is the first show for Thursday the 14th of August, 2024. The question is this, what would the Lord Jesus Christ think of evangelicals for Harris? We'll get to that. We'll start though with a little bit of framing. The same people who are telling us that literal orange Hitler, Donald Trump, is going to install a scary, horrible form of white nationalism, which I don't want. White nationalism stupid, racism is dumb, or a Christian theocracy, which I also don't want, because you can't be Christian and force people to convert. Those things don't go together. But those same people who are worried about a Christian theocracy are helping to build a Muslim theocracy because they maybe don't realize that wherever you import Islam, you're also importing Sharia law. This is from Tim Waltz, Minnesota. With the stroke of this pen, we and our Muslim community will have the ability to hear the call to prayer in a Don five times a day. Now they're doing this, of course, as secularists. They'll never do this to celebrate the Christian faith. They don't even make any bones about this. Islam is always attached to Sharia law. Sharia law is a, eventually, what you gain power force people to convert law. The Quran hasn't changed. The Quran calls for Muslims to act peaceful, to be amenable until they gain power, and then to turn and force people to convert at the point of the sword. That's what's in the Quran. So the same people freaked out about a Christian theocracy under literal orange Hitler are welcoming in a Muslim theocracy, because they either don't get it or because it's useful politics for them. It doesn't really matter which one it is. But when you look at evangelicals for Harris, are they any better? I mean, they're not welcoming in a Muslim theocracy, but they're also not stopping one, nor are they in the Bible. This is Jamar Tizbi. And on the cross, Jesus Christ tells though who have been bent low because of oppression, you can stand up straight. And he tells those who have bought into the myth of whiteness and superiority that you too are in need of a savior. He talks about the redemption of the black experience, the prophetic redemption of the black experience to trust that. He talks about a form of redemption that is not in the Lord Jesus Christ, and he's the least of the offenders. There's another form of redemption that doesn't even get near the Lord Jesus Christ that a woman named Natasha Morrison lays out. Then there's a woman who is going to tell you that it's a myth that black babies are targeted for abortion. This is all part of the evangelicals for Harris movement. So what would the Lord Jesus think? In the second episode for Thursday, the 14th of August, 2024, I gotta ask a question. Is Tim Walts, is he mostly dumb, or is he mostly evil? I gotta ask that question because just like the failed mayor of Seattle, Jenny Durkin failed to corrupt, by the way. He also decided to allow Black Lives Matter Incorporated to take over a police station. I heard the governor say, give it up. It wasn't directly to me, it was through a phone call and how the governor says, give up the precinct. I mean, that's demoralizing for this whole state. Demoralizing, it's also demoralizing for cops. In Seattle, cops had their wedding rings stolen because cops don't wear their wedding rings on the street. The terrorists were allowed to go in there and steal their clothes and shoes and gym bags, et cetera. Car keys, personal IDs. I'm gonna imagine the same thing happened in Minneapolis, but you know what it was about saving Black Lives, right? So we'll show you how good this Tim Walts was at Black Lives Mattering. That's a phrase invented by Steve Saylor at stevesaylor.net, who did the research? We'll talk about how bad the Black on Black killing got in Minnesota under Tim Walts, this guy who's on the ticket because he is white, chubby, and red-shaped. And because of the Kamala Harris campaign being all about things like this. - We know our immigration system is broken and we know what it takes to fix it. - And yet we've chosen not to do that. (laughing) We've chosen not to do that, even though we know how to do that. More America learns about how cold and fed-in and putrid the heart of that lady is, more they're gonna have to cheat.
