Park Sports Update. Former Michigan analyst, Connor Stallions, who is at the center of the Big Ten Conference and NCAA's investigation into an illegal sign scaling scheme was hired as the new defensive coordinator at Detroit Mumford High School while saying he's quote "not worried" about the NCAA investigation in the Stallions. Head coach William McMichael told the Detroit News of Stallions that quote, "He's great with the kids, has an outstanding football mind and we're learning a lot. Not just the kids, but the coaching staff. He's a great addition to what we're doing." Michigan parted ways with styling and shortly after reports revealed the school's illegal sign stealing scheme which was based on getting infirmisible access to teams on field signals. Michigan went on to win the college football playoff national championship. Romanian gymnast, Anna Barbosu, received her bronze medal from the Paris Olympics on Friday, a medal that originally belonged to America's Jordan Schiles who had the medal revoked. After the ceremony, Barbosu said quote, "I'm very happy to have this medal and hope to represent Romania at the highest level and bring home more medals." San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon IU requested the trade in July in the wake of the two sides being unable to gain traction on an extension and has been holding out for the new deal. Speaking about the matter with K&BR on Friday, 49ers general manager John Lynch said quote, "I can tell you, we feel the urgency to have him." The season's approaching and we have ample time. The 49ers and Pittsburgh Steelers reportedly have a trade in place to send IU to Pittsburgh should he decide to depart San Francisco. IU total 75 receptions for 1,342 yards and seven touchdowns last season which were all team highs or tied for such. He's entering the final season of his rookie deal. I'm Joe Morgan. [MUSIC PLAYING]
