Today, the Blue Ridge has opened up a series in Chicago against the Cubs. The Cubs defeated the Blue G's in 10, 6-5, 6-1, 7 hits, 2-0, 5 runs, 10 hits, 1-0. Tyson Miller took the win, 4-1, Chad Veen took the loss, 3-3. Ballinger hit his 13th homer of the year, and then is his second. Kyle Armstrong is 5th, Amana is 5th. He had his 21st. Springer hit a triple with 5-2 in the ninth to tie up the game, but Suzuki then, the bottom of the 10th, had an RBI. The series will continue tomorrow at 2-20pm, Chris Bassett takes the round for the James.
