Have you read Silent Vows by Jill Ramsauer? It's a mafia-arranged marriage romance. Yes, I have. I was hooked from the first chapter. The intensity and passion are off the charts. Right. The characters are so well-developed. I really loved how fierce and complex the heroine Islin is. Absolutely. And I thought the author did a great job with the hero Cormac. He's brooding and authoritative, but has a depth that keeps you intrigued. The plot twists are incredible. Just when you think you know what's coming, Ramsauer throws in a surprise. The arranged marriage trope was done really well. It felt fresh and engaging. Agreed. And the writing style is so immersive, you almost feel like you're part of their world. It's definitely a must-read for fans of mafia romance. I couldn't put it down. Same here. I can't wait for the next book in the Burn Brother series.
