"Deadly Illusion," a chatty review worth watching. Have you read "Deadly Illusion" by Kathy Lockhart? It's a real page-turner. Yes, I finished it last week. The suspense was incredible. What did you like most about it? I loved the way Lockhart crafted the plot twists. They kept me guessing until the very end. Absolutely. The plot twists were masterful. I also appreciated how well-developed the characters were, especially the protagonist. The protagonist, Detective Sarah, was fascinating. Her backstory added so much depth to the narrative. I agree. And the setting was so vivid, it felt like I was right there with them. True, the vivid descriptions really brought the story to life. What did you think about the pacing? The pacing was perfect. It moved quickly, but still gave enough detail to keep me engaged throughout. For sure, it's one of those books you can't put down. Kathy Lockhart has truly outdone herself with this one.
