NBC News Radio. I'm Lisa Carton. Both presidential candidates are campaigning in the battleground state of Pennsylvania this weekend. Former President Trump will hold a rally later today in Wilkes Bear in the northeastern part of the state. Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris will conduct a bus tour of Western Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh tomorrow, just ahead of the start of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. Both candidates are targeting the state with advertising blitzes. A possible ceasefire deal between Ukraine and Russia may be derailed by Ukraine's incursion into Russia. Diplomats and officials say both countries were set to send delegations to cutter this month to negotiate a landmark agreement halting strikes on energy and power infrastructure in what would have equaled a partial ceasefire. Hurricane Ernesto is slowly moving away from Bermuda after making landfall earlier today, now packing 80 miles per hour winds. Lisa Carton, NBC News Radio.
