Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed a joint session of Congress today as Israel continues its fight against Hamas and Gaza. Daily Wire Deputy Managing Editor Tim Rice has the latest. Netanyahu stressed the importance of the U.S.-Israel alliance and continued U.S. support, which most recently includes $15 billion in military aid as part of a $95 billion foreign aid package. My friends, if you remember one thing, one thing from the speech, remember this. Our enemies are your enemies. Our fight is your fight, and our victory will be your victory. (CHEERING AND APPLAUSE) Around 50 lawmakers, mostly Democrats, refused to attend the speech in protest of what they view as Israeli misconduct in the Gaza War. That includes squad members Alexandria Acasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and Senator Bernie Sanders, who said that Netanyahu should not be welcomed into the United States Congress. As the Prime Minister spoke, the Capitol was surrounded by protesters, many of whom chanted anti-Semitic slogans. At least one protester was spotted waving a Hamas flag. Capitol police deployed tear gas and pepper spray against protesters as the crowd grew violent and attempted to cross police lines. Netanyahu had some choice words for those protesters during his speech. Well, I have a message for these protesters. When the tyrants of Tehran, who hang gays from cranes and murder women for not covering their hair, are praising, promoting, and funding you, you have officially become Iran's useful idiots. (CHEERING AND APPLAUSE) Tomorrow, Netanyahu will head to the White House to meet with both President Biden and Vice President Harris, who also skipped the Prime Minister's congressional speech. Netanyahu is set to meet with former President Donald Trump on Friday at Morilago. Lawyers representing former President Trump have filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission, accusing Vice President Harris' campaign of fraud. Daily wire senior editor Cab Phillips has the latest. The grievance filed Tuesday accuses the VP of illegally trying to take control of the nearly $100 million in campaign funds already raised by President Biden. The complaint argues that transferring that money to Harris would constitute an excessive contribution, far surpassing the legal limit for single donations. Trump's legal team also claims Harris and her campaign treasurer committed fraud by unlawfully amending Biden's statement of candidacy to allow for the transfer of funds, thus violating federal campaign finance laws. Meanwhile, Attorney Steve Roberts told Fox News this morning that money must be returned to donors within 60 days of when President Biden dropped out. The deal is the FEC, the Federal Election Commission, doesn't much care. They'll look at what the Federal Election Campaign Act says, and what they should do at this point under the Federal Election Law is refund every single dollar that someone donated to the Biden campaign for the November election. Federal Election Law is really clear that if a candidate does not run for the general election but receives contributions for that general election, the campaign doesn't have a choice. They have 60 days from the day that candidate dropped out to put the money back in donors' pockets. FBI Director Christopher Ray answered questions from the House Judiciary Committee today about his bureau's investigation into the attempted assassination of former President Trump. Here with more is Daily Wire reporter Tim Pierce. According to Ray, the gunman who attempted to take the life of former President Trump may have used a firearm with a collapsible stock, making it more concealable. The 20-year-old shooter also reportedly researched the assassination of President John F. Kennedy before his July 13th attack in Butler, Pennsylvania. The shooter may have gotten off as many as eight total shots before being taken out by Secret Service Sniper. During his testimony, Ray also said the shooter used a drone to survey the area beforehand, and that explosives with remote detonating ability were found in his car. But as the FBI Director told lawmakers, the remote explosion function was not operable. Ray's testimony comes one day after Secret Service head Kimberly Cheetell announced her intent to resign. An illegal immigrant accused of murdering a Nashville restaurant owner had his previous felony charges dismissed. Here with the latest is Daily Wire reporter Amanda Prestajakovo. Ulysses Martinez, who entered the U.S. illegally, was arrested last week after killing 42-year-old Matt Carney back in June. Carney confronted Martinez and another man who was stealing tools from his truck. That's when Martinez rammed his truck into Carney, killing him. He then fled the scene. Martinez had been arrested back in February in Tennessee on three felony counts after a similar crime, stealing another person's van, truck, and tools, but a judge had dismissed those charges. The accomplice, Adrian Diaz, has been deported four times in the past and has multiple criminal convictions in Indiana and Tennessee. And U.S. Open Golf Champion Bryson DeChambeau released a YouTube video yesterday playing a round of golf with former President Donald Trump. This is going to be one of the greatest rounds of golf ever played. The now viral video is part of DeChambeau's "Break 50" series, where he and another golfer play a scramble format from the women's teas in an effort to shoot a 49 or better. During the round, the pair managed to score 50, tying Bryson's previous best score in the series with Trump scoring a solo birdie and solo eagle. Here's DeChambeau's reaction to Trump's last putt. That's how you finish off the round. The duo pledged to donate $10,000 to the Wounded Warrior Project per shot under par. They finished 22 under par for a total donation of $220,000, with an additional 20,000 in viewer donations through YouTube. Those are your drive home updates this afternoon.
