Welcome to Prayer Drive. This is C.E. Ligeor Bronner. I'm so happy and excited and delighted to have you. Join us today. What a wonderful day. A beautiful day and I pray you're having a wonderful drive on the way to work, school, or wherever you may be traveling. Man, God is good all the time. And I'm having fun and I pray you're having fun as well. Well, we have been sharing on joy. Maybe, I don't know, man, we've shared on quite a bit. Last few weeks, probably. I just pray your joy is increasing and you're refilling on your joy and you're living life full of joy. Just enjoying life and enjoying God and living vibrantly and fully. Man, that's the way you live. That's the way you live because it blesses us in all areas of life, just being full of joy. We're able to love better and feel better and be healthier and be able to do more and have enthusiasm. Man, it just be a light in the world when we're full of joy. So that's why it's such an important subject. We're able to be a blessing and we can just do more when you feel better and when you can light up the place and be light in the middle of darkness and joy in the middle of sadness. Praise God. Only God can do that for us and we honor God and bring honor to him when we love a joy-filled life. Well, I want you to know that your joy is directly related to your connection to him. Joy flows out of him into us and so, you know, as we're connected to him, that joy flows in us. Let me read this scripture. 1 Thessalonians 5, 16 says, "Be happy in the Lord always." King James says, "Rejoice evermore. Be happy in the Lord always." Always be happy in the Lord. Well, that's where our happiness comes from. It comes from him. Comes from our union with him and we are to be happy always. Let me give you some practical tips. These are just some practical tips that I have. I've studied happiness. I've read several books on happiness and these are just some of the practical tips I've learned from some of the books I've read. Number one, God is our ultimate source of joy and happiness. Comes from God. So, you know, when they've studied happy people around the world and that's what they found, had a good, strong spiritual foundation in God, good life in God. So, number one, our joy happiness begins with God. Number two, you are happier when you have goals to pursue. You know, when you're pursuing goals, when you're bettering yourself and you're stretching yourself and you're growing, then that makes you happier. Number three, personal expression. That could be art or drawing or music, creating art, creating music, singing, writing, speaking, you know, just personal expression. When you express yourself personally, that makes you happy. Number four, gratitude, you know, when you're thankful and you're happy and you're grateful, grateful heart makes you happy. Number five, purpose. When you have purpose, when you're living for a purpose, when you're tapped into God's purpose in your life and you're in your divine calling purpose, when you're able to know why you are here on earth and you are fulfilling your purpose, that makes you happy. Number six, serving and helping others. If you want to be happy, serve and help others. Number seven, when you have strong friends and social groups and relationships with family and friends, social networks, that makes people happy. Number eight is sunlight, bright colors. You know, put some brightness in your environment, open your window shades and open port of curtains bed. Let the sun shine and then get out in the sunshine and brighten up your environment. Bright colors and sunlight makes you happier. And number nine, smiling, laughing, singing, dancing, having fun and instantly improves your mood. And number 10, thinking right thoughts. You can think yourself happy. Think on things that are good and honorable and delightful and joyful and that'll make you happy. Let's pray. Father, we just thank you so much. Thank you for your joy. Thank you for these practical tips and practical wisdom, Lord, to help us to fulfill our joy. We thank you that our ultimate source of joy comes from you, Lord. And we are just so grateful. And I just pray you do something special in our lives today, Lord, in a special way. Let us be a blessing in a special way. And we're just so grateful, Lord.
