Welcome to Prayer Drive. This is C.E. Lidear Bronner. I'm so happy and excited and delighted to have you join us today. What a wonderful day, a beautiful day, man. I got us good and it is wonderful and great to be alive. I pray you're having a wonderful drive on a way to work school or wherever you may be traveling today. I am still studying joy. Man, I've been enjoying joy and just been filled with the joy of the Lord and man, just delighting in him and delighting in his word and just allowing his spirit to fill my spirit with joy. Praise God. And I pray you're joyful as well. And remember, I said, we have to refill our joy. So, you know, if you think about it, that's why the Bible says, "Rejoice, rejoice." Philippians 4, 4, it tells us, "Rejoice." And again, I say, "Rejoice." Look at the word "rejoice." Look at what it's saying. Re-joy. Re-joy. So, we have to refill our joys. What it's saying? And we rejoice. We refill our joy by rejoicing. Just start laughing my faith. Rejoice in my faith, man. And get into the Word. Get into the bed of time with God. You're joy. Fill back up. Praise God. Praise God. Man, I'm just so happy. Life is better. It's so much better when you're happy. And that's why God wants us full of joy. He wants us full of joy to counter all the sadness in the world and all the causes of sorrow, God's joy. It's more powerful. It is more overcoming than all the causes of sorrow in the world. That's what makes us. It gives us the strength to overcome the world. Just joy. And it spills over to help others who don't know about his joy because joy is contagious. When they see you happy and see you laughing and so forth, did you know that biologically it triggers something in their brain to smile? It does. I read a study on that and I said, "Wow." So, it is actually contagious. It triggers something in their brain, causes a reaction when they see another person that's happy. And so, that's why God wants us full of joy so we can affect other people around us. Praise God. God fills us with joy. Say this with me. I have Jesus's joy and my joy is full and over flowing. Praise God. Let me read this verse to you. John chapter 17 verse 13 it says, "And now I come to thee and these things I speak in the world that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves." That's John 17 13. So, here Jesus again is talking about joy and he is really adamant about that he wanted his joy in us. He wanted our joy to be full and overflowing. He said some things here. I speak these things so that my joy would be fulfilled in them. And he said, here are the things that he said. He said he's praying for us. He said that his glory is on us. And he said we have a special relationship with him and with the Father and he keeps us. So, those were the things that he talked about. He talked about that he's praying for us. Man, his glory is on us. We have a special relationship with him and the Father and he keeps us. He keeps us in this world. He's God and that man that makes our joy run over and it feels and completes our joy to know that Jesus is praying for him. And say that with me. Jesus is praying for me right now. His glory is on me. I am in relationship with him. He's in me and I'm in him and he is keeping me. Praise God. That's enough to give you joy. Amen. Let's pray. Father, we just love you and praise you and rejoice in you and give you things. Thank you for this wonderful day that you have made and we'll rejoice in it and be glad. Father, I just ask you to do something extra special for everyone listening right now. Lord, that you do something special in their lives today. Touch them with joy Lord and let that joy spill over to others. And I just ask you to bless them in a special unique way today just to let them know that you're smiling on them.
