If you watch all those calls, documentaries on Netflix or wherever, you understand that cult leaders understand how important belonging is. That's how they get their members. 'Cause they find people that don't belong anywhere, their family don't like them, or their friends don't accept them, or whatever people that are kind of marginalized and they're like, why are you marginalized? You are the most amazing thing. This place we accept you as you are and all that stuff. And this person feels like, oh my God, I've found home. This is where I belong. And that's why even, I mean, if you watch most of those documentaries, even people that have left knowing that the cult was a cult and they lost all their money and family and friends and stuff, you can still see them smile when they are talking about the time they were at that cult and he's like, what's going on?
