And you're pocket fillers. The parlay killer. The north side. Start the broadcast. Subscribe with smash. The gorilla sports podcast. Hey, guys, welcome into the gorilla sports podcast. I'm your host, Alex bullpen. And it is Saturday, August 17th. All right, we got a recap from yesterday. We had eight plays. We ended up giving two units back. We had seven batter parlays. Every one of the losers all had one winner on there. So we were all one hit away from either a break even day or even a plus money day. I actually did okay. I had a couple of other side bets that end up going okay. But let's get into what we had yesterday. Our first winner was we took Jake burger of the Miami Marlins and we paired it with Yurikson profile. That was a good look. Those bad boys both came through for us. Our next play is we had Bryce Harper and we paired it with Jonathan India. Bryce Harper let us down. That's not how I thought that game was going to go at all versus Corbin Carroll. So we kind of ended up having too many players from the same team. And if you don't have the right read, then it's going to crush you. So we had Kyle Schwarber and Bryce Harper all together. We had JT Rio Motu. That one worked out as we paired him with Anthony Edwards. That was a winner. Then we took Bobby Whit and we paired it with Josh Bell. Bobby Whit had three hits yesterday. A double a homer. This guy was absolutely on fire. And then Josh Bell, he was over four and then they had a pinch and pinch hidden forum or pinch defending forum, which kind of sucks. And I'm going into extra innings. So it would have been a couple more played appearances. We probably could have got home then. But no, they yanked him out. And then we had Freddie Freeman. He crushed yesterday and we paired that, like I said, with Kyle Schwarber and Schwarber didn't come through for us either. We had a good read on our pitcher parlay or our pitcher's strikeout play. We took Ryan Nelson of the Arizona Diamondbacks to get over five and a half strikeouts. Now that came through at plus one 10. I tried to get cute and kind of take a ladder play. And actually, it's tough watching strikeout props. I mean, when when you have a batter prop, right, you watch that batter and then you know, you can kind of go along with your day for the next little bit and then, you know, catch it up at nine batters later. But when you got a strikeout prop, you're living on every pitch. And this guy who had so many guys, oh, too, that he didn't lose to walks. He didn't walk a single batter, but he just lost them to hits over and over again, or just ground balls or just somebody would get some contact on it. So hey, listen, the Nelson play worked. We were a plus 10 winner, but the same rate, I would have loved that ladder play to go all the way up. All right, let's get into some plays today. I got three batter parlays I like today. Our first one is we're going to take Bobby Whit again. And we are going to pair him with Jake Berger. So this is a good spot for these two guys together. Bobby Whit is just absolutely on fire. MLB best bet three 52 this year. And he went three for four, as I said yesterday. And we're going to pair him with Jake Berger of the Miami Marlins. Now he's about 364 and 12 played appearances versus Louis Severino. And actually Severino's been getting rocked lately. He's been giving up eight hits, six runs, six hits four runs, like every his last three games have been awful for him. And he's got two Holbers and a double versus versus Severino today. So I like that look Bobby Whit and Jake Berger together. Our next play is we're going to take our boy, Vladigarero. We were off him yesterday and it worked out well, he didn't get a hit yesterday. So he's got to hit in 24 of his last 26 games. However, he's one for three versus Justin Steele and the Cubs today. So I like that look and we're going to pair with one, excuse me, with one Yepes of the Washington Nationals. Now this guy is a left handed killer. It's Sanchez on the mound today for Philadelphia. He's been three 64 versus left handed pitching. He is on fire against lefties. All right, that's our second play and our third play. Also a left handed killer, one of the best in baseball. He's got three 60 versus left handed pitching is Ketel Marte of the Arizona Diamondbacks. And we're going to pair him with Bryce Harper. Now again, Bryce Harper, let us down yesterday, but he crushes lefties as well. He's been three or four versus left handed pitching. He's back to 94 with two doubles versus Mackenzie Gore today. So those are our three plays we got going today. I like Jonathan India as well. So I might try and find a way to get him in there and also examine your Edwards on the Miami Marlins. So I might actually just pair those two guys together. That actually would probably work out to a minus one, minus one 15 minus 118, something like that. So yeah, all right, we got four plays going today. Jonathan India and Xavier Edwards, I like those two guys together. I will not have a podcast tomorrow guys as I'm out of pocket, but I will be back on Monday. And then actually on Tuesday, I've got a live Twitter space as I'm doing with a couple of really sharp NFL guys that I'm teaming up with for the NFL season. So I'm excited. I can't wait. I got one of my buddies hosted it. These guys live in the States, but these guys are sharp guys. We've had a bunch of Zoom calls already just getting ready for this thing. So I can't wait for football season guys. And I know you're going to be rocking with me. Let's roll.
