This podcast is part of the Sports Social Podcast Network. [♪♪] It's the moment of the evening, every can stay fan and joys. Little down and board a whiskey, back open a liqueur. Please put your hands together and make a little noise. For your favorite wildcatters, the handsome Bosco boys. [♪♪] Boom, the boys are back and it is time for another week. The final week before we are in game week, but folks, college football is back this Saturday now. While on paper, it doesn't look like there's going to be any stellar games. It is going to be exciting to have it back. Again, you get Florida State at Georgia Tech kicking us all off in Ireland, which means a year from this week, it will be K-State kicking off college football for all the world out there in Dublin, Ireland. I can't wait for it. And then we have Montana State going on the road to New Mexico at 3 o'clock. FS1, actually a nine-point favorite in that game, nine-point favorite. On CBS Sports Network at 7 p.m., SMU goes to Nevada and SMU is going to try to run up that score. So they try to send a message to the ACC. And then to end everything off, Delaware State at Hawaii kicking off at 11 p.m. all the time, Central time zone and God's time zone. As he intended it, folks, I cannot wait. You know, I will be tuned in at least those first three. You know, I don't know if I don't know if I'm ready to be staying up until the end of the night to watch Delaware State versus Hawaii. But I'm pumped. I definitely will be watching all of those first three games. I'm sure you guys are pumped as well. So again, Saturday college football is back. This week we got some Blitz Month heavy hitters. We have the first two already scheduled, have two more that I am working on. I'm not going to spoil anything, but you know, it should be some very fun ones. This week, as long as everything goes to plan. And then we'll have one more next week. We'll end with a Thursday episode. As I've said, once we get into game week, it'll go the traditional schedule, at least traditional last year on Wednesdays. We'll have game previews on Friday. We will have the whip around Monday game review. Tuesday will have a Q&A. This year, Thursday, we're going to have Thursday conversations. Most of the season where I'll be talking to someone about K-State football, big 12 football, it could be K-State sports. This is where we might talk a little K-State basketball. Big stuff is happening with guests. K-State volleyball, they're having a big season. This is where once there is basketball crossover, it will be probably most weeks a basketball only episode. Once we start getting games there, but that's what we'll have on Thursday's replacing the live show. So we'll kick off Thursday conversations with the Blitz month episode. Probably with Derek Young, that's currently the plan. Unless we need to move him up this week in case some of the folks have to be switched around. But we like to start with Mitch Fortner and end with Derek Young. That's what we've been doing for Blitz month the last couple of years. So that's the current plan. Like I said, we got some heavy hitters this week. This episode, again, we'll be talking about Camp Intel. Camp's coming to an end. I think since class begins in Manhattan on Monday, today's you guys are listening to this. If there are any first time K-State students listening to this, send Bosco's boys a tweet or a DM. Maybe we'll hook you up with a prize. If you are listening to this on your very first day of school at K-State, a K-State freshman or a K-State transfer, reach out to us and we're going to hook you up with a gift. All right. Yeah, so Camp is over as of the time you guys are listening to this. I think technically the last camp practice was today as recording on Sunday the 18th. So we're going to talk about some final whispers from Camp a lot of it on the defensive end. Talk with some folks at K-State and some folks embedded with the football program. Have a few call outs for what I've been hearing about the offense. But a lot of it's going to be defense this week. It was defensive coaches that took the podium. We had Van Malone and Joe Clanderman up at the podium. We had the position coaches with Buddy Wyatt, Steve Stannard and Mike Tuyasasopo. They had some breakout sessions and we had some player podium sessions as well. So I'll be giving mainly my takeaways from those sessions mixed in with some stuff I've been hearing. Offense and then some big news on basketball recruiting the number one player in the nation will be visiting next week. He's up at Utah Prep and that is AJ DeBonsa is what we're going with AJ DeBonsa. Hopefully that last time is right again. It's just tradition at this point to be unsure about that. But that's what we got. It's going to be a great episode. It's going to be a great week. Before we get into it, we'll give a shout out to Manhattan Brewing Company. Look, you guys know to talk to your local liquor store if you're hearing the great state of Kansas. You guys know that they have a permanent spot opening up in Wichita. You know their tap room is awesome vibes. But we're talking right here in the build up to that very first home game. Tally Wheat is the official tailgating beer of Bosco's boys. Make sure that you are stocked with a couple of four packs to take to your tailgate. No one likes someone showing up to the tailgate empty handed. Show up with a couple four packs of Tally American Wheat and be the most popular guy or girl at your tailgate. Make sure to always drink responsibly. But Manhattan Brewing Company is the spot for the best beer in the entire state of Kansas. Make sure to check them out. Again, when you're coming to Manhattan for that very first game, make sure you're stopping by. The Tally Wheat, the official tailgate beer of Bosco's boys. Also get some of that delicious pumpkin batch for some of these cool nights. Start stocking it up before it's all gone. Alright, let's get into it. It is, like I said, a lot of defensive talk because that's what we saw in the media. And the first thing, and it's shocking for me, but it shouldn't be because anyone who subscribes over at K-State Online, anyone who watches the KSO show on YouTube, anyone who listens to three mob podcasts, you got to give credit where credit's due. Derek Young has been pounding the drum for Damian Alolio all offseason long, talking about how he will be by the end of the season, the starting spot at the interior defensive line, defensive tackle spot. And Tui said, you know, out in front of the media that, hey, right now he is the number one guy on the depth chart. So what is this? Because again, we are big Uso fans and again, I think it is tough for folks to grade interior defensive line, especially on a three down system. Their job is just to eat double teams and to cause a little havoc. I personally thought again, untrained, I thought Uso had a good season last year. I was looking for him to have a big season. I know he missed a lot of time in the spring, but I was looking for him to have a big season. And this isn't taking anything away from Damian Alolio. I think he's a very talented player. And again, we talk about the big play he made, you know, as a freshman in the Big 12 Championship game and I know he's going to have a massive season this year and he's going to be, I think, probably the undisputed starter next year. So I was a little surprised that, hey, it sounds like maybe the era of Damian Alolio starting might be appearing a little sooner than I expected. Is this motivation for Uso? Is this Damian has just been killing it? I don't know. I'll be interested that now, and I've said this about like three or four spots on the depth chart, but that might be where my eyes go the first time you get the game notes and see the depth chart published. I think if that's the case, I think it's a good thing. As long as Uso stays motivated and he understands his role and you're going to have two quality guys playing there, I think that's big. I think that is massive. And again, it sounds like it's a two horse race for starter. I still think Malcolm Alcorn Crowder, he has three years at K-State, I think, before he leaves K-State, he's going to make a lot of massive plays. Sounds like he might be a situational type of player right now, but I think I'm feeling pretty good. I don't think I know I'm feeling pretty. The defensive tackle position, especially if Damian has made a big jump this offseason. Again, he was available for almost all spring. Sounds like he's had a good summer camp, and I'm excited for it. That'll be a spot where I try to focus in on maybe not as much in the stadium, but when I go back and re-watch that first game, and then when I'm watching the two lane game back at home, that is going to be a spot, especially when Damian is out there, that I'm going to be hyper-focused in on my re-watches because I think he's going to, if he's going to be the guy, whoever's going to be the guy, they need to constantly be forcing the opposing center to take on help. The next thing, and it's a continuation from what we heard last week, so much praise for the cornerbacks, and I absolutely love it. Again, Van Malone, Joe Clanderman, Jacob Parrish was up at the podium, but you heard it from the offensive players last week, talking to Taylor Bratt on Friday as well. There is so much hype, there's so much praise for Jacob Parrish and Keenan Garber, and I think that if it is true, and again, this is not a just-case-take thing. This is not a just college football thing. It doesn't matter if it's middle school, high school, college, or NFL, and this preseason ramp up to the first game, there's all sorts of hype, there's all sorts of pumping your guys up. I'm not going to sit here and say, "Oh, this isn't true, I don't believe it," because I 100% believe it. I watched these two guys probably the last few years, and I think that they are going to be absolute studs, and again, I'm choosing to believe 100% of the hype coming out about them this summer, and here's the thing, if it is all true, if you can have corners, two corners on the boundaries that you can leave on an island, there is very little in modern football that is more valuable than that. If you're able to trust your two corners to protect the boundaries without help over the top, that opens up your linebackers and safeties to have all sorts of blitz packages. It allows you to truly own the middle of the field, and then when you're facing mobile quarterbacks like we're going to see with Arizona, like we're going to see with West Virginia, like we're going to see with Kansas, it allows you to have a spy, it allows you to take someone off the, you know, the pass coverage and really focus in on the quarterback to make sure that they don't absolutely abuse you in scramble situations. So if Jacob Parrish and Keenan Garber live up to the hype that we've been hearing the last couple weeks, that could be the difference to take this team from being good to great on defense. And I think this team has the potential to be great, and if you want to talk about this team being great, if you want to talk about this defense being great, we're not going to have to wait long to truly see this tested, something that's been really visible this week. I feel like a lot of the advanced analytics folks and some of the folks doing the AP preseason poll, which I believe case ended up in 18th, 19th right there with Oklahoma State, Utah, ahead of everyone in the big 12 Arizona and KU also ranked West Virginia receiving votes. I think there's a lot of late hype in the summer for Arizona, a lot of ground swell for them, whether it's the analytics world or whether it's the voters. And I think a lot of it has to do with the talk of Arizona, maybe having the best quarterback wide receiver combo in the nation. So when we talk about the defense as a whole, and really as it pertains to the cornerbacks as I was just talking about, you're going to get that test. The big time test in week three, Friday night lights, Fox Friday football, first time for that broadcast, it is going to be maybe the biggest true test that we've seen maybe since that Auburn game. And again, that's not to take away from Tulane a couple of years ago that ended up top 15 in the cotton bowl. It's not, I mean, and look, you face Luther Bird and last year in Missouri in the non-conference, but I'm not a Brady cook believer. I think Fafida is worlds better than Brady Cook. So I think it is going to be one of the biggest tasks. And if you're able to handle that, and again, I don't think you're going to shut them down by any means, but if you can, you know, keep Fafida to around 250 yards, if you can turn them over a time or two, can you not get burnt deep? Can you keep him to maybe just one, two at most passing touchdowns? Look, some folks might look at that sound and be like, yeah, you know, they played okay, but that's not great folks. That might be the best passing attack we see all season. So we're going to really know early our team in Garber and Jacob Parrish really going to live up to this hype that they've received basically since the end of spring ball. So we won't have to wait long, but I'm feeling really good about those two guys. The next thing, and this might be the biggest surprise to come out of camp, it sure seems like unless something changes, unless they're just trying to throw everyone for a dupe here, I know I was 100% on the Alkmerenko starting bandwagon. I think Cole Carmon even picked him to be his defensive MVP. Now Cole had to go on Blitz Month, I think before any availability. So that's kind of what makes those early Blitz Month episodes tough, and next year we're going to be starting Blitz Month in the middle of July. I can't wait. I don't know if Alkmerenko is going to be a starter. I don't know how much of it has to do with some of the injuries he's had. I don't know how much of it is, he's struggling to play at the level we need. But we're not hearing a lot of stuff about Alkmerenko. It is all Austin Romaine, and he was even included in the players who got to do media availability from the podium. I think Austin Romaine is going to be that third starting linebacker, and I think ultimately is a good thing. Something I've heard about Austin Romaine really since he even started playing again, he made a couple mistakes. You look back to that UCF game, you're like, "I don't know," but I think he could be the real deal. I think before he leaves K-State he could be a second team all big 12 type of guy, honorable mention all big 12 type of guy. Hell, I think he got honorable mention defensive freshman player of the year last year. I think the best-case scenario was Austin Romaine rising to the occasion and becoming the starting middle linebacker. Now if Alkmerenko is healthy enough to play, if he can help provide that viable depth at middle linebacker, at my linebacker, that's awesome and everything worked out the way it needs to. Now I'm not convinced that when that depth chart comes out, I'm not convinced it's not Bo Palmer or Alkmerenko, the old dreaded OR faction for that number two line out on the depth chart. But regardless of what happens, I'm feeling very good about where we are in linebacker and it kind of leads me to the next part. The name that keeps popping up first by Chris Klim and I kind of brushed it off and then last week by some of the offensive players and I kind of brushed it off, but it kept getting mentioned all week, Van Malone, Joe Clanderman, some of the other defensive players is Terry Kirksey. Look, if then all of a sudden you have Terry Kirksey who is making a charge and again, you know, the transition from junior college up to power five football is a tough one. Sounds like he also was a little banged up at times last year as well. But if he is now living up to what was expected out of him, because here's the thing, a lot of folks looked at him and said, "Hey, maybe not a starter, but he's a guy who can provide quality depth. He's a guy who's going to be able to run out there, take off some heads on special teams. He's a guy who's going to be able to give you 10 to 15 snaps of power five football a game." If all of a sudden you can depend on that, folks, the defensive too deep all of a sudden is looking so good. That's where I was having problems. We've talked about the defensive line, the edge. We talked about it last week, here in a second I'll touch on who it sounds like will be those starters for the first game, but we talked about it. There's six guys who you feel good about and then a seventh in Toby Osensami who I think is going to have four or five, maybe even six sacks this year just causing havoc off the edge because he's one of the best athletes on the team and now he's finally being able to practice week in, week out, down on the edge, whether it's stand up or hand in the ground. He knows his role and he's going to be able to excel at that. We talked earlier this episode and we've been talking all summer long about how good I feel about Damon O'Lolio and Uso and then again you bring in Malcolm Alcorn Crowder who's going to be able to give you that specialty package if he wants to just focus on pass rushing, but you're feeling really good about the depth there. Again, we talked about what could be going on in the cornerback room. It sounds like we have two guys who might be future NFL Draft picks. Again, that is the hype. I'm hoping it comes to fruition, but I think we all feel great about Jacob Parrish and Keenan Garber. What we brought in Dunbar from Rice, who was an all-conference player back in 2022. You have Justice James who's in another season at K-State. You have Kanajal Thomas and Devah McIntosh, Donovan McIntosh, excuse me, of young guys who came in with that length and that speed that they absolutely love. So you're feeling great there. You've got three future NFL corners back there and then you've got guys Colby McAllister. You've got guys like Jack Fabris. You've got Strap back there. You have all sorts of guys back there at safety that you feel good about and you had two starting linebackers that you feel great about. Austin Romaine's putting them in there awesome, but you're starting to hear good things about Asa Newsom bouncing back from his off-season surgery. If you have Alex Marenko backing up there and maybe you've got Terry Kirksey too, I mean you're feeling great about your two deep at linebacker as well. Folks, I don't know the time, at least in, you know, Snyder 2.0 and on, that you felt so good about your two line on defense across the board. And again, everything is rosy before the bullets start flying. I understand that. Believe me, I understand that. But it is tough not to really feel the juices going and getting excited about the potential of this defense. Again, I said it earlier, I know this defense is going to be good, but I think they truly have a chance to be great. All right, as we're wrapping up, talk about the defense. There's a couple of things I want to touch on. But the last thing that is personally, or just on the personnel, sounds like Cody Stuffle Bean will be the initial starter. He was part of the media availability this past week, and then Brendan Mod, of course, went to Big 12 Media Day. It's usually a sign of who, the players who are talking to the media, those are the guys who are going to be the starters. So I think they're going to start with the two upperclassmen. And I don't, I don't think that is to say anything about the young guys. I think, and we've seen this in Joe Clanderman defenses, especially when you have that quality depth, especially in the trenches, I think you are going to see a ton of rotation at defensive end. And I think that is going to be great because I think when you're getting to the end of the season as you're trying to get to Arlington, when you're possibly playing in Arlington, when you're possibly playing in a playoff game, if your edge guys have taken less hits, less wearing tear than a lot of teams, that is going to pay dividends. And then late in games in the fourth quarter, when you're rotating because you have that quality depth at defensive end, that's going to be massive. So I think we're going to see Ma in Stuffel being trotting out there for the first possession. I think you're still going to see plenty of Jordan Allen, and I think you're going to see plenty of Chidiobias or I think you're going to see plenty of Travis Bates. I think you're going to see Toby Osinsami. I think you're going to see Davis. I think you're going to see Ryan. I think you're going to see a lot, a lot of defensive ends out there all season long. And I really think in those first two games, you're going to see rotation like crazy. So that's going to be exciting. Another thing, and again, if you're not a psycho, if you're not a sicko, and you're not going back and watching games, rewatching games, that's fine. I'm a sicko. Usually, obviously, I try to watch live very few times. Do I not? Very few times. The majority of games every season, over 50% of the games every season, I'm there live. But I love to re-watch the game on Sunday before I record the episode recaps. And that will be something that I really try to watch when I'm back home watching on TV for the second time, maybe even a third time midweek, if it was a fun game. I think the rotation and what we see from those guys and what individual packages and situations that they're out there, I think that's going to be really telling in the first two games. And we'll see if it's just pure rotation, and then we start to see the real deal versus Arizona. Maybe it's the real deal versus BYU up at altitude. I'm not sure, but it will be something fun to watch. Another thing, another something that will be fun to watch, is the Charlie Hassel social media pages. Folks, we're getting even closer now. Again, we're in their countdown to kick off. We just saw them launch a bunch of fun stuff for their Kansas City football collection. We saw them, you know, not our football, not American football, but we saw them drop some brand new varsity jackets for the Kansas City current and sport in Kansas City if you like soccer as well. Folks, we got some big stuff coming in the next couple of weeks for K-State, including a new varsity jacket, including a brand new hoodie and two new T-shirts, as well as stuff for all their officially licensed college gear. They have Kansas City Pride stuff and the iconic Kansas City art shop at charliehustle.com or all across the Kansas City Metro. You can see some stuff at rally house, I saw their big 12 mascot t-shirt on sale over at rally house. So check them out, Charlie Hassel vintage made fresh. We'll also be giving away a t-shirt next week. So on a week from today, actually, probably around noon, we will be launching that giveaway. One final thing on the defense, not personnel related, but just as a whole, it sounds like they've really been causing a lot of turnovers, or at least that's what the guys, when they took to the podium, want you to think again, they might be gassing themselves up a little bit. I saw a little bit of discourse. Should that concern us about the offense? I'm not concerned about the offense. Again, I think there's a chance the offense might start slow. And look, as much as folks may not have liked it, Courtney Messingham, he had a top 20 offense, calling Klein top 20 every single year. There's a chance. There's a real chance we may take a step back. It may not be noticeable, you know, it may not be noticeable, but I think there's a chance things could start a little slow on offense, but don't freak out. Trust the process. Trust Connor Riley, trust Chris Glimann, trust Matt Wells, I think by the end of the year, the offense is going to be fine. I'm not worried about one bit, plus you don't know who these guys are going against. You know, it might be Jacob Kanuth, it might be, you know, Roberson, it might be Barnett. It could be any of these quarterbacks who are throwing interceptions. Hell, it might be Avery. It might be Avery trying to test his limits. And then he sees that guy interception, intercepted, can't do that. I'm not worried about the offense at all. One thing though, and Drew Galloway at K-Stanline has done good pointing this out, and I think Derek's pointed it out and Mason's pointed it out. So the KSO guys are good at pointing this out. Chris Glimann had some frustrations with the defense last year about how many turnovers and takeaways that they are forcing. It really came out in the Oklahoma state game. So I've asked about this, and I'm not the only one who shared this, but it sounds like they have gone through turnover cycles. And I think, I've been Jordan Riley who talked about this in his press availability, but it sounds like they are having different circuits. That's what it was. Turnover circuits where they're practicing punching the ball out, where they're practicing either diving or scooping up the loose football. Guys going through a lot more past catching drills so you can capitalize on some of those interceptions. I think that could be absolutely massive. I think that could be absolutely massive if they can do that. And hell, we saw it last year again, Marquis Segal dropped a handful of pick sixes. He could have been an All-American is what we talk about if he would have had all those interceptions. I think he told Kelsey Robinette, he dropped a lot of bags or he dropped a lot of cash with the interceptions last year, it's something he's been focusing on. We saw Will, the snow pusher Lee, part of what got KU going in that game down in Lawrence was instead him diving on the ball, he batted the ball down, field 20 yards out, KU pick up a first down. If you are training, if you are drilling, if you are trying to get through to these guys, the situations to scoop it up, when to dive on it, working on their hands on defense. If you increase the turnovers by a game, won a game, all of a sudden, boom, I've been talking on an episode, a lot of this episode about how this defense could go from being good to being great, that's another way to do it. So I'll be interested to watch that come into play all season long. All right, we'll wrap up with a handful of offensive players who sounds like they've been having a good camp so far. Talk to handful of folks, I've watched and listened to some of the player break out who are giving a shout outs to their offensive counterparts. And then we'll end talking about AJ Dibonza, I have no idea if that's even remotely close to being pronounced right, but that's how we'll end the show. The first one, it really sounds like Dylan Edwards has had a great last couple of weeks. He said when he went to the podium that he asked for everything to be put on his plate, he said that he didn't want to be a complete back, he wanted to be a complete football player. I would not be shocked if we see him as the lead return on both puns and kickoffs. I think we're going to see him lining up all over the field all season long. And I think he is going to be a fun player to have. I think he's going to be a great compliment to DJ Giddens in the backfield. I think he's going to be a lot of fun for Connor Riley and Matt Wells and Brian Anderson to draw stuff up for. And it just sounds like he came to K-State ready to work and he's put in that work and he's had a great last couple of weeks. The other name, it's Keegan Johnson and look, I'm sharing this with you guys because when I ask folks, that's a name that keeps popping up. I'm not going to be part of the hype machine, I'm not going to be part of the propaganda wing for Keegan Johnson this year like I was at times last year. I personally, and I need to see it to believe it and I need to see it sustained. I need to see him out there making plays week over week before I am ready to pencil him in for at least 60, 70 yards a game or anything crazy like that. But you're hearing a lot of good stuff and folks, I want it to be true. I want it to be true. I'm not a hater. I want it to be true because if it is true, if he can reach that ceiling, especially if he's here, this year or next, that allows everything in this offense to get more creative. It allows Avery Johnson more freedom because I think we're all very bullish on Jason Brown. And I think we're hopeful for another couple of pieces in that wide receiver room. But if you can truly depend on those two and you know, whichever running back you have is able to catch passes. And if we see Garrett Oakley to take another step like we saw him last year when he finally got to play down the stretch, I mean, again, we've been talking about what could take the defense from being good to great. I mean that could really do some things for the offense. So I'm hoping, I'm hoping, really hoping that is going to be the case. The last guy and I want to highlight after a few conversations and again, his fellow trenchman on the defensive side has mentioned him having a good camp, Easton Kilti. I know Chris Kline. I think Chris Kline was trying to motivate him and a past story when he had his remarks after two, three practices, but I think Kilti is a guy who can be dependable. Anyone who you can have trust in at your left tackle. And again, when you go from an NFL left side of the line, when you had KT 11 Cooper baby on that left side, it's not going to be the same. But I think he can depend on Easton Kilti. I think that you are going to be able to depend on this offensive line. But I think Kilti is going to be that best player. I think him, Hadley panzer, they're both big time players. And I think that they're going to have big time seasons. Again, we know we'll have Sam Hecht sure sounds like it'll be Taylor Pordier. And then we know Willis will be out there at right tackle. So I'm looking forward to it. And I really think that when it's all said and done as much as we all are going to love Dylan Edwards, even as much hype and how many big plays Jordan Riley's going to make. I think Easton Kilti might be that newcomer of the year. So that might be a spoiler for my own predictions next week when I run myself through the blitz month gauntlet. All right. We'll end with some basketball news. AJ de Batsa, at least that is what I'm how I'm pronouncing it. He's visiting K state next weekend. The number one player in the country, he's going to Utah prep up there in Utah shocker. Five star wing do everything. He's going to be a future top five NBA traffic. The best player K states had on campus for a visit maybe since Michael Beasley and getting that first visit is good luck when you look at what he said when you look at what his dad said. I'm not putting a lot of hope into this recruitment BYU is his final visit. He's also visiting KU and Duke and I think Yukon and Alabama. I'm not putting a lot of hope in it. It doesn't seem like they're that invested in case state. It seems to me that K state has gained this reputation after this last transfer portal as being a team willing to spend and spend big when it comes to NIL and men's basketball. So if I was giving my pessimistic view, which I personally might think is maybe a little bit more realistic, it seems like they are getting K state to set that first bid that entry fees you will to be a viable contender for him. I think ultimately this looks, smells, feels, tastes, hears, sound all the senses, all the senses it seems like he's going to end up at BYU. But being that first visit, look, Drew Tang and his staff, knock official visits out of the park. You're going to have a rabid 52,000 maybe even more in Bill Snyder family stadium. You're going to have the first football weekend. They break out all the stops with the photo shoots, with the vintage gear. They're always doing something fun with the recruits. They always personalize everything. Look, it is going to be a five star visit for the number one player in the country. And while I would be surprised if he ended up at K state, the one thing, you know, you're giving this staff a punter's chance and that punter's chance really sets the bar, whether it's NIL or the quality of visit. When you're the first visit, he's going to walk away and say, wow, that was amazing. Then he's going to go to Kansas the following weekend. He's going to go to Lawrence and be like, yeah, this was good, but it wasn't, it wasn't a K state visit, Bill's self school, but he's not Jerome Tang. And every visit they go on, they will be comparing it back to K state. And that's what's, what gives them a punter's chance. If I'm, if I'm trying to be optimistic, if I'm thinking, hey, maybe, maybe they have a shot at this one. That's what I would be telling myself. Now it sounds like this might be a commitment that goes into December into January, maybe even February. So I'm not expecting an early decision, no matter who it is. I think he's going to go on all six official visits. My guess is he's going to trim the list from six to four or three. He's going to take some unofficial visits during basketball season and we'll see what happens. You know, you're giving K state a punter's chance at the number one player in the country. I guarantee Jerome Tang and his staff, they're going to give it their best shot. That's all we have for this episode, folks. Again, we got hopefully knock on wood for massive guests for Blitz month. Next week, the plan is to close out with Derek Young from K state online. And then what next week we'll have just a regular Monday episode, Tuesday, honestly, I don't even remember what all we have planned. Let me pull it up real quick because look, I am so pumped. I'm so obviously Wednesday will have a game preview. Well, and here's the thing. One thing, we always talk about Chris Cleiman's press conference in the game preview episode. He's moved his press availability up to Monday, which I don't love. For the purposes of this episode because he's going to be able to hot any injury questions, anything like that. He's going to be able to hide behind the fact, oh, haven't even had them in for their first practice yet. So I don't like that, but hey, it is what it is Chris Cleiman can do whatever he wants. So yes, the hope is for big episodes this week, we're going to have Derek Young hopefully next week. Yep. So we'll have the whip around on Friday, the preview on Wednesday, a regular Monday show, and then I will have my predictions, my blitz among predictions on next Tuesday. Then we're full on into it. So that's all we have for Chauncey, the best dog in the world. My name is Scott McFarland. We love you guys and go cats.
