Welcome back to 6060805909693 Man City, two-nil win, Big Win for Celtic and the Cup Chris and the Rexxham Drew-nil-nil at Bolton. Sheffield wins, they're losing four-nil at Sunderland and Brentwood, Chris, winning two-walleons, Palace. Yeah, but I think Palace fans will like what they saw for certain parts of that game. I've got a question for you, Rob, because you're in a similar position to Enzo Maresco, aren't you, in terms of you just going into a new management job? How would you handle the Reheem Sterling situation then? With that statement which he has put out, how would you handle that, Rob? Well, listen, I've got a very different situation, Chris, because you're not comparing Michaels with a chill, so are you? Will the players put out a statement publicly? Yeah, yeah, listen, as a manager, obviously I would have pulled the player in, obviously, before the statement went out and went out and named my squad. And, you know, obviously we don't know what's gone on between the two players. Just put a statement, what are you going to do? Stop waffling, come on, we've got callers, come on. Well, as a manager, if I've explained the reasons why he's not in the squad and I was honest and transparent, and then the statement went out, I would not be happy at all with that player. What would you do then? So you're not happy, what are you going to do? Just let it settle, let it stewry, you're going to find him? What are you going to do? Well, I'm not going to find him, why would I find him? Because he's entitled to put out what he wants. If he believes, you know, if he's in that statement, he believes in what he writes, then I would not find it. I would not find it. Robby would do nothing. Would do nothing. Okay, should we get the next call on? No, no, no, no, no. I'm just going to stop you there, and because George Cummins is with the Man City Manager, Pep Guardiola. Yeah, thanks Robbie Pep service now, Pep first week league, winner of the season, what did you make a routine today? I'm really happy, proud, privileged to be manager of these players. Good news is the first three points, the bad news will have 70 games ahead of us, so it becomes the best way you have to define this dedicated victory to Oscar Bob. We will miss him, but we will wait him, and he will be back to help us the second part of the season. What did you like so much about your team? Everything. Because we are not in our best, so play Australian a little bit, like most of the teams, but important. It's the body language, it's still the desire, how we defend together, how we help each other. Our backwards, our high pressing, our build up, and our many things I like. Is it so good and pleasing for you today to come here and win when you haven't got Roger E? That's been a problem for your team, winning away without Roger, Stone's Walker on the bench, and then Covidgett comes in, he's put in a shift, he scored a wonderful goal. Is it just about winning today rather than performance, do you think? No, no, no. We won bigger, we perform well, better than them. So the results always come backwards for something. And the team was magnificent, and the world team is like this, whether it's not there, it's massively important, but we have to survive with it. It's not because we cannot play all the games. And look, Rico today, we're going to push Kyle off his limits. Rico is in trouble right now. So playing in an incredible position, they're going to do it today, against Nkunku, against Pedro Neto. Elúa happened, what happened? Elúa happened, so play all the actions really good. You mentioned Rico Lewis, he had another good game in the community, he yelled, "What's he done, he's just focused his way into your thinking." No, it's always play good. The only problem, Rico Lewis is just one. The manager said, "Don't allow him to play, this is the only problem, Rico." And Rico will be judged for his size. It's called Lombos, he's not going to win, the other ones will be better. But the rest, few players can do absolutely all the actions better than him. He's smart, and the one against one is so defensive, always pay attention. He always defensively is a group, he's doing well. With the ball can play outside inside, can play in the holding field, can play in the pockets, arriving in the final third. In the final third I had the vision and the quality of the score goals. It's a completely, completely, complete play. And really it's for him because sometimes I don't play. And I like to see him because I like him a lot. Just a word on Oscar Bob, do you think that will force you into the transfer market and possibly go in and sign in another striker now? I don't know, we'll see. Thank you. Come on George, I mean it's not just about winning George, it's about performance. I mean, dear me, come on George, come on. You're better than that, George, isn't it, Rob? Come on, it's about building. Yeah, George. It's been a lot of time in Germany with George, traveling round. Yeah. Come on George, come on. Come on George, you're better than that. Right, back to you Aaron. Well, just answer Chris's question. Well, it takes me well, but with that he strengthened at the back. So I don't think what he does. Well, on theory, we shouldn't be conceding us what we did last season. But the reason why I called up play, every time I called up previously, I've always talked about it in 20. So I thought this was the best time to call up. But I definitely would 100% here. I know with strength from the upfront, but I still don't think we're clinic on offer. Well, it seems through far this season, we're passing it about better. We're defending better, but we're still just not trying to go up front. And I feel I'm not going to come on here and say, look, even 20 is going to win us the Premier League. Still, but we're not a Premier League winning season team in my opinion yet. I believe I feel you'll definitely get us back into the top four. And hopefully when another cup, which I feel would be some of the successful season, I know we'll still change our slide. I've been in this long search game. He looks like he's got the potential to be world class. Poison is potential as well, but with his experience in the Premier League. Well, it's all the time on financial for a play. I don't know where we are currently with that. I know going by the rumors were still looking to strengthen. So look at actually, if they can make it happen, I would love to see him in a money-native shirt. Because as I said, look, I definitely think he'll get us in the top four. And with the experience, the youngsters coming around often as well. So look at, well, what do you say about that? I think you don't. I think he makes them really good. I think the points you make about his experience, I think he has some great qualities. A little bit different to Hoeland. I mean, and the fact of the matter is, I mean, if push came to shove, I think they could actually play together because they have slightly different attributes. But I do think it's an interesting one because if Hoeland does have the injury, and what have you, Tony does have that presence. You know, that presence in the box, outside the box. You know, I actually think that would be a move which suited Manchester United. Where are you, Rob? Yeah, I tend to agree. I agree, because I think, you know, Hoeland is obviously injured. I think he will be a fantastic player, Xerxes. I would go for Tony if I was Manchester. It's a different option. You know, he's got a great experience. He scores goals in the Premier League. So I think that's a great option. So I totally agree with you, Aaron. Go on, Chris. You'll say so, and then? No, no. I just thought you were just nodding head off. Rob, just enjoy my evening, no Sunday evening. Stuart, how are you, Chelsea fan? I am very well. Thank you. How are you? We're good. We're good. Come on then, Stuart. What do you mean that today? Well, I wasn't there. I'm a season ticket holder, but I'm just about to, I'm a performer. So I've got a new show tomorrow, which opens press night. So... Tell us about that, Stuart. No, no, no, no, no. Come on, Stuart. Tell us you're a performer. What do you perform? Hello? I've met singing on the pitch before Champions League Games and singing "I Did the Arlie's" tributes last year. I've done lots and lots of things for the club that I love. You just cut out the first part, so you sang your singer. Yes, I'm a singer. I'm an opera singer. Oh, oh, oh, oh. Lots and lots and lots of things at the club. That's some Dorma. That's what I did for that song. I'm a singer. I'm a singer, I'm an opera singer. That's some Dorma. Oh, wow. I was asked to be part of Luca Viali's tributes for the legends thing. I actually sang at Luca's wedding, so it was a real honour for me to kind of do the whole complete circle for him, in honor of him and also for his daughter's and stuff. I'm opening in a new show in London tomorrow, so I had a day at home. I listened to it, I didn't watch it, I listened to it. Actually, the reason I picked up the phone was some of the previous callers who were commenting really. And I don't, if somebody signs for Chelsea and puts a blue shirt on, I want them to succeed. That's obviously what I want. But it was somebody who phoned up and talked about Sterling being disrespected and all of this kind of stuff and not a Chelsea fan. I just thought, "Listen, lots of us have sat and watched Sterling and just desperately, desperately wanted him to be more successful than he's been at Chelsea." And I think for the manager to be called out for that, as a long-term, a long-time Chelsea fan, and because of my connection to the club having perhaps a little bit more of an insight or understanding of what's going on behind the scenes, I think Mariska is kind of at the moment, Chelsea feels like the Harlem Globetrot is the size of the squad. Sure, we'll come back to here because we're just going to go to George Cummings now, who's with Enzo Mariska. Thanks Robbie. Enzo defeats today, but what did you make of your size performance in your first match as league manager? As you said, we don't like to lose game, but I think the performance was good. We compete against, in this moment, probably the best team in the world. I think we compete for a large part of the game at the same level or even better for some moment. We create chances unlikely we didn't score, but the performance for me was good. Just feeling like it's just going to take a little bit of time before the players know how you work and it'll all come together in the next few weeks? It's already quite happy to be honest because in my expectation, I think we are ahead. So today we create chances. I think the big difference between us and them has been inside the box. But the direction is the right one, we need just to continue. You mentioned the chances, Nicholas Jackson had the offside goal. Is that something you can work with him? He's got a record of disallowed goals, he's quite high. If you could cut that, he could be a lethal striker in this game. The important for me is to arrive there and to create chances, Nicholas is there, he's always there. Next time he will be a bit more lucky. There was a lot of stuff made before the match about your team's election. Can you just confirm why you didn't pick Raheem Sterling? Just taking a decision, no more than that. I already said now, it's not just taking a decision. And what will you do going forward? Will you speak to him later this week? Is there a way back in for the team for him? I don't speak with all the players so I don't have any problem. And we're going to clarify, we're going to see it without any problem. Can I just find out what's the latest with Conor Gallagher? Any developments over the weekend? No, I don't have any news to be honest. As I said, I was focused on the game. Nobody said me nothing. We'll see in the next game in the next days. Thanks for joining us on 6-6-6-10. Good questions. I loved Enzo Mariska, his direct miss there. I asked the question about Sterling, he's made a decision, speaks to all the players. And that's how we should deal with it. Stuart, you would have heard that, Stuart. Did you like what you heard from your manager there? I liked it a lot. It's clear, it's concise. There's no fluffy nonsense around it. He's just made a decision. The Conor Gallagher, somebody commented about that. Excuse me, and kind of had a pop-up again, the new manager. And it's just like, he's got nothing to do with him. There's so much in the way in which football, especially in the premiership level, is dealt with. Basically, managers are given a hand, a deal of cards, and get on with it. And it's like, as a Chelsea fan, I love Conor Gallagher, and I'd love him to say. But I also understand that Clear Lake and Todd Bowley and all of that. The managers also don't have any say in many ways about how these things are handled. Clearly, they've got a financial kind of thing that they need to deal with. And Conor is homegrown, and he's, I hate to say, when you talk about a human being, but he's pure profit from a football business perspective. And so to criticize the Marresca, or any manager for that matter about kind of things like that, it's just, as a Chelsea fan, listening to people kind of talking about it and it just sort of slightly wound me up. Just before you go then, listen, just give us one line in Essendormer. Just could get a poem last night from Philip. It was amazing. Listen, that was a great start to the weekend. Give us one line in Essendormer. Okay, well, I'll try not to blow the microphone. Oh, there you are. Good luck. Come and see the show, boys. Come and see the show. Where is it? When is it on? Tomorrow? Well, it's the press night is tomorrow. But listen, let me talk to you producer on that. But it's at the Charing Cross Theatre. It's called the fabulous. It's got real magic in it. It's funky and it's quirky and it's, you know, and it's fun. It's like a comedy bar. Thanks. Give me a shout and I'll sort you tickets. Oh, brilliant. Well, definitely come then. Thanks, Stuart. Thanks, Stuart. Oh, we got the first essay. It's coming up. Chris, after Mike, the man's city fan, I think, I think you said a city complacent. Come on, Chris. Will you bear that, isn't he, Mike? Absolutely. By the way, how come I followed Stuart? How do you follow a man who's just on next door? Well, I'll tell you what, give it a go. Give it a go, Mike. Oh, my God. Go, Mike. Go, Mike. No, no. ♪ The sun's on my ♪ No, so I'm going to leave it there. Oh, look at that. That was a bad. That's good. That's four out of ten. That's a good effort. Thank you. Thank you. That was a bad. Those of us who remember 1990 and the World Cup and the three tenors in the four of them. Wow, amazing. Amazing. But, um, complacent city fans, I don't think it's such a thing as a complacent city fan. But, uh, unless you're under about twelve, too many years of, uh, snatching defeats in the jaws of victory. So, um, we still remember that. So, I don't think we're ever complacent, really. Just, just on the team and the success, then, um, Mike, the last, however many seasons under, under Pep, you know, you're on for your fifth, um, Premier League title in a row. I mean, that, that tells us that the players aren't complacent. Pep doesn't, uh, allow that. Exactly. Does it? So you talked about city's hard years. Does it, does it ever, I mean, as a city fan, do you ever sort of think, you know, we're, we're getting used to this now? Just, you know, the expectation there all the time? It, it, it, it's, it's still, like, I still find it like a, like a wonderland. I mean, I, I still would, of course, I mean, it, it feels amazing because we do it four times running and wow, but never take it for granted. I mean, for, for some very obvious reasons, like, that there are so many, you know, great sides in this league. It's the best league in the world. We all know that, um, statistically in every way. And, and there are some great teams just waiting. I mean, look at Arsenal. Like, how close Arsenal have run us twice now. Um, you know, a few clips this season, if we're not at our very best Arsenal, we'll simply, it will simply take over. And we, but the great thing is, as you say, Pep knows that the guys know that the standards at the club are just incredibly high from, you know, Cal Dean, Sherman, all the way through to, you know, the way you agree to when you come into the club and just the way the whole place is run and Pep and the excellent squad. It's just an extraordinary place. So we're confident, a lot of self-belief, but we're never complacent with anything. Mike, thank you. Thank you. Just good. Thank you. God bless you. All right. Thank you so much for the call four out of ten for Mike's Nes and Dorma. What would you give a shoe for us? Oh, seven. No, come on. He was, he was the ten, wasn't he? I was, he was a serious performer. I've heard you sing. I reckon you've got a line in Nes and Dorma. I don't know. No. No. Okay. Oh, wow. Wow. I thought you liked it. If I, um, no, I've just, bit of a husky voice. I'll take some. Like, what's up, manuka honey. If I, if I can get some manuka honey for your throat, I'll just sing better. Okay. Okay. Guess what? It's time, it's time for SAS. 606. It's time for SAS. Sensational, amusing, chalky. This is the first SAS of the season, Christopher. What has been sensational for you this week? Cristiano Ronaldo, Rob. I think he's sensational. Great player that he was. He just does what he wants, doesn't he? He does what he wants, when he wants, how he wants. He takes free kicks, corners, penalties, throw-ins. He does everything. I don't know. What's tickled me, Rob, is it, it's a terrible free-kick-taker. Let's get it right. He was always taking them for Portugal. I think his record is like one in 60 over the piece for Portugal from free-kicks. And did you see his free-kick on his return to Saudi Arabia? I mean, left hand side of the box. It nearly hit the corner flag. It was about 40-50 yards for the corner flag. But you know what, I won't bother him. He'll still take the next one because he's so powerful. I'd just love to be like that, Rob. Sensational, Cristiano Ronaldo. You just do what you want, Mr. Ego. I'd love to be. What's the music this week, Christopher? What tell you? I don't use me last night, Rob. Last night, Philip, the poet. He didn't know it, he was a poet. But it did tickle me, listen to this. If you're having a breakdown or maybe feel a miss, then ring the RAC. Yes, that's Rob and Chris. Chris hates City and United, staying spares are on the up. Telling Rob his trophy was the poor 300 cup. Now, just like the lighthouse family, and you may hear him sing, if the F.A. struck the lead cup, meaning Rob's not one of things. But Rob is now manager, he's beloved Mac. But if he's really bad, will he give himself a sack? And who tamed the potential bank none other than our Chris? But let's be fair, his managing was somewhat hit and miss. And Chris banging on about Ang's ball makes you want to weep. It even drove his wife to go on Supermarket's weep. Now, both of you may hate this poem calling me a prat. Hey, come on guys, I think you're better than that. That was brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. Few hum trues in there, Rob, but we loved it. Is there anybody out there who can beat, who can beat, who can beat. Phillip's poem, Rob. That was absolutely sensational and amusing. And finally, Chris was being shocking for you this week. Well, this last week, Preston. Preston North and Rob, two managers in a week left Preston, Ryan Lowen, I think as Mike Marsh yesterday. Ryan Low, though, I love this, Rob. Ryan Low left after one game and he said now is the right time for the club to go in a different direction. After one game, Ryan. Really? Is that the thing to do? Blimey, Rob, two managers leaving a club in a short space of time. Who does that remind you of? Who does that remind you of? Two managers leaving a club in a short space of time. Two managers being sacked. Who does that remind you of, Rob? That was SES for this week. Paul, did you not go to history? Paul, Chelsea, how are you, Paul? Hi, I'm flying in. Yeah, good, thanks, Paul. I want to talk to you a bit disappointed about today, but anyway, that's how it goes. I called it, basically, because I took issue with what Chris was saying earlier, about challenging Raheem Sterling and the abuse of players' rights. I just think you've completely missed the context of what's going on. Well, then, tell me then, from your perspective, do you think that was right for Raheem Sterling or a representative of Raheem Sterling to release a statement? Well, it depends what's going on, and neither of us know exactly what's going on, but the thing I would say is, when you read his statement, the first thing he talks about is he's got three years of his contract there, and that you sort of reel into that, everything that's going on at the club, that basically the club needs to sell players to stay afloat, which is what's going on at the moment, and its policy until now has been to, when players got to two years of their contract left, then they would, then they'd start pushing them out in one way or another, whether they offering some sort of substitute contract or two plus one, like they did with Gallagher or not, so the policy is to push players out. Sterling seems to be being pushed out. It's been a lot of talk that they've been trying to offload him on to Juventus. He's signed a contract with Todd Berlin in Clay Clear Lake, so they know exactly what they were paying him, so you get the sensation with the other things that have happened, Gallagher, Cheerwell, and that he's being pushed out, and he doesn't like it. And so the decision, quite probably, was not a football decision today. It makes you wonder how much scope Maresco has actually got to run the club, that players that the club want to sell can't be played. So you think Paul, that's a decision, taken above Enzo Maresco, you think all things being equal, I'm not putting words into you, all things being equal, you think Sterling, I'm not saying he'd done enough in a Chelsea jersey, because we had Chelsea fans on earlier who were critical of Raheem Sterling and his numbers, but you think that he certainly would have been involved today in some capacity, you know, all things being equal. Well, you know, and I just refer to, you go back to last week, it was a friendly, obviously, against Inter. Sterling was on 10 minutes, he did more in 10 minutes than Madrid did in 80, before him, and one of the three kids that set up the equaliser. He is, and a lot, he clearly hasn't performed as high as people would have wanted to, wanted to in a Chelsea show, but whether he should have been picked or not, I'm not on the training ground, I couldn't see who should be picked. But after what I saw last Sunday, and then hearing what's going on about trying to shove him out to Juventus, you get the feeling that the decision isn't football one. But what does that make Maresco then, Paul? What does that make Maresco, if it's not a footballing decision then? I mean, that's, you know, so Maresco doesn't have the power then. That's the way that it appears, and it's not just because of Sterling, you go back to Calabar, Galabar, now Chilwah. It seems that the club, because of its overspending, now is an incredible amortisation bill on its PSR. So it's got to keep showing, selling players for profit to keep going. And I think that's limiting the Maresco in accepting the job. He's probably accepted that one of the parameters is he can only pick the players that the club wants him to pick, and not the ones that are available for sale. So what would you have, Paul? Would you have Raymond Sterling playing ahead of Colpama and Cunku? Oh, certainly not, but he wasn't playing ahead of Colpama last week. Colpama was on one side, right, Raymond Sterling was the other. Whether he would have played or not, I mean, that's a selection to make on the day. But if you looked at today, would he have done more than the Cunku? Quite probably. But why couldn't he have, you know, my issue with it is why does he need, or what does he need for somebody to make a statement on his behalf? Why not just go quietly about his business? Well, if he feels he's being pushed out by the club, and I'm fairly treated by the club, sure you expect, honestly. And it's almost that Chelsea have got a policy that they can treat, and Gallagher, to be fair, has been incredibly silent, incredibly dignified about what's going on. But the club, in a certain way, has to take you to the word, but they're abusing players in the way that they're treating them, and say, "Oh, they're highly played footballers," et cetera. But they're trying to contract. Paul. Will he sign the contract with Sterling? So 300,000 a week is what he accepted was the right price for him. Paul, thank you. Thank you for your call. Paul, 0885, 909693 is the number to call, half an hour to go after the news on FiveLive with Joe Kritcher. Now, more 606 on FiveLive. Oh, I'm buzzing, buzzing. Today, first win against Spanish in the Premier League, and we haven't been beaten at home in our first game in the Premier League, so I am absolutely buzzing. Top half today, top half today. Call free, 0885, 909693. The long season, first game in the season, weren't expecting three points against the champions, but I think there's a lot of noise taking place around Chelsea, which is understandable, but I think in terms of the whole ownership, as for Sterling, Sterling is not Chelsea's Hallist man. If he was the player that contributed to let's say double digit goals and assist the Chelsea during the past two seasons, I'll say, "Okay, he's got a point." But no player has the right to release such a statement, unless they're talking about a mess you or a Ronaldo. So that statement, bang out of order, to be honest, it's just added more chaos now. Call of two, name, team point, go. Well, Rexham fan Barry here this one day. Looking good, looking good. Call of three, name, team point, go. That Manchester United fan. It will be a successful year if Manchester United get European football. I'm Rahim Sterling, you're better than that. Call of four, name, team point, go. Matthew Bradford and my point is on professional conduct or professional standards. Call of five, name, team point, go. Ross Lester fan. Squad worse than last season. It's down to one man. John Roadkin has toxic as Britney Spears. Call of six, name, team point, go. My name is Andrew from Worthing. It's my birthday yesterday and I'm a super Albion fan. Christopher, up to you, Christopher. Yeah, there's a couple there. Can we call it number five, the Lester fan? Yeah. Ross. Hello, Ross. I mean, for a club, which has got promoted, you seem quite negative going into the primitive season. Right. Well, where do we begin? Story time with Ross. Yeah, right. That's not it. It's the fact that John Roadkin does not know how to be a director of football and you ask any Lester city fan. They all tell the exact same thing. Last week, we had three players potentially coming in. They were agreed fees a lot. One's not his fault, fair enough, the taxing was our half. That's Turkey tax or something. But the other two, you know, end of day, we might have players that have on big, big wages. And it's no wonder we ain't got money to, you know, do a lot of stuff. I mean, for example, Danny Ward has been our club for six years. He's played 27 games and at the minute, he's on 50 grand a week and he's not played a game in what? Nearly two years? I mean, you seem to know, you seem to know a lot of the detailed stuff. So, you know, how do you know this is all on John Roadkin to not get these deals over the line, then? Well, for example, as a player, Lester, I can't pronounce your name. He's labor, cool, and striker. If you're taking care of a senior loved one, then you know it can be hard. Something like that? And then all of a sudden, Hoffenheim come in, the German team, and all of a sudden, they'd hand up the deal and Bummy's gone there. Like, it's down to incompetence. And I just think, in my opinion, I don't think talk. It's not, but it's not. But somebody's been a director of football, Ross. You know, I could do a deal with a player, yeah. And they could all be agreed. Until that paper's signed, you know, you could be organized everything for him. You could be organizing medicals, you could be organizing hotels, you could be organizing everything. But if somebody comes in with a better offer that suits him, his family, you know, he might decide to take an option. Until that's signed, so I've had deals with us where I think I've got a player, and that player's gone somewhere else. Well, that's not my five, try everything I can to get that player within our means. And if a player gets offered a better deal, maybe not even financially. I can't believe you're comparing Mackelsfield. I don't know. You know, Ross is thinking about a deal in the Germany-Laver cruiser. But you were comparing me to Chelsea earlier, so make your mind up. You're doing your deals with like... But as a director of football, that's what could happen, so it might not be all... Might not be all on John Rudkin. Well, this is what I'm just saying, I'm literally just about to say just then that I've got maybe tops not got it in him as much anymore as he does. All right, you know, obviously, I know obviously it was a big ass tech when he took over the club, you know, from obviously from his late dad back in 2018, 2019. Hello, John Rudkin. Hello, John Rudkin. Did you get promoted? Did you get promoted under John Rudkin? 2014... Did you win the Premier League under John Rudkin? Yeah. I know where this is going. And I'm getting asked today, did we get promoted to John Rudkin? So you've won the Premier League under John Rudkin. You won the FA Cup under John Rudkin, and you've just got promoted under John Rudkin. But that's not down to John Rudkin. No, that's all. No. I get what you mean, Robert, but it's just obviously... Robert! You ask any less to sit, obviously, the next show you have next week, you ask any less to find that comes on, maybe, if it depends, you know, hopefully it'll be full on and stuff. Obviously, talking to them as well. It's a big game for talking to them tomorrow. But obviously, you ask any less to sit if I know, are they happy with the way that our club's been run at the minute? And obviously, with Steve Cooper, I mean, it's a good appointment, by the way. I just want to put it out there. Was that John Rudkin? This is the problem. I mean, apparently, there was agreement with Potter, and then I was, so, that's all. We don't know what has happened there. Yeah, but so, you're happy with Cooper? I'm happy with Cooper. So, who did you think appointed him? Well, the chairman. Talk. Not John Rudkin? No, definitely not John Rudkin. No. But that's my take on it. Yeah, you know, the players coming out, we let go in the acho. I'm sad that all Brighton was gone. And just before I go as well, obviously, it'd be a great tribute tomorrow night for Craig Shakespeare, who sadly passed away a few weeks ago. Obviously, it was great for us as our manager, assistant manager. These are legends and always will be in our hearts. I just want to put that out there. Well said, Ross. Well said, Ross. Less to take on Spurs tomorrow night, Chris. What's your prediction for that one? No, let me guess. Let me guess. I've gone for a list of win, actually. But what? You haven't? No, I haven't though. It's on the mind ball. The mind ball. To just be a bit too good. Well, Lester, and he's been there. I've not had a great weekend of predictions. I've got complacent because the last two seasons have been too easy. So, a bit of blase. What's going on? I think I've gone 3-1, Spurs. And listening to Ross, he's just reaffirmed that belief I have in Tottenham. Do you want to bring back Zack? Zack, my friend. How are you, Zack? Hi, Chris. Hi, Robbie. Hi, Zack. How are you, mate? Oh, I mean, I was hopeful going into the year, but if you're relying on a new striker in the 87th minute against Fuller, I think, I mean, it's gone already, hasn't it? Well, but you like to be lost to them all last year, though. That's always progress. Yeah, it's progress, but it's not enough, is it? I mean, if we can only just beat Fulham. That's three points, but Zack, on that final, we're so whether you won 4-0, 3-0, 4-3, 1-0. When you look at the table, it was three points. That's all it counts. Yeah, but it's just one three points, isn't it? And I think, personally, that it'll be a successful year for Manchester. And if we get any European football this year, because, I mean, new signings, I mean, it was almost an open, wasn't it? But one of our new signings gets injured in pre-season. I mean, if that's not an open, I don't know what it's really. You're more negative than Ross the Leicester call to Zack, I thought you were coming on the show to bring a bit of positivity. Come on, tell us something good about Manchester United this season. Well, let's go down, Chris. Come on, Zack. Come on, you're better than this. Oh, I'm with Rob, right? However Manchester United did it the other night, and Eric Tenharg, he said before the game, they weren't quite ready. And it didn't look like they were ready, but the result was positive. And that's got to be a good thing, Zack. Yeah, it's a good thing that we got the result, but it was very lucky. I mean, the other point I was going to make was, you had your first caller talking about managers need to treat players better. Players need to treat managers better. That was Marekka's first game, it's Chelsea boss. And just because Raheem Sterling is used to the game first team football, I mean, I didn't see him releasing any statements last year when he was put on the bench. So I don't know why he's releasing statements now. I mean, the managers are on the basis of decisions. If Chelsea can add an extra five grand a week on his wages, he can beat the start in 11, but it's the manager's job to do that. Zack, Zack, wow, thank you, Zack. Listen, thank you so much for the calls, Zack. I can't believe it's the second show of the season, and you've already been banging on about man and city complacent. I think you're better than that. You're better than that. I'm not saying, I don't think the manager's complacent. Absolutely not. I don't think the players are complacent. I just think that, I don't know, is it just for you? No, is it complacent? There's part of the Manchester City fanbase where they just expect to win. They've had a set of checkered history, and what have you. I don't think they should be like that. I'm not saying all the fans, but there's a fair few. Man City fans, give us a call 0805 909693 after the same game. [MUSIC] Paul Indoor, low to the edge of the box. Fernandez, heavy touch, still going for Hernandez. Then he goes down, optimistic shots from the stands, from the Chelsea supporters. Anthony Taylor stands, looks at it and shakes his head. No pun would be. Well, I couldn't sit down here there. I thought he'd just been down there. I think he was a tackle. I mean, Angel May actually have hurt himself as he went down there, just having a little look at it. I mean, no, those guys there. He's thrown himself into a couple of challenges there, no more than that. He was never bashed in control of the ball at any point in time. Yeah, so, yeah, he's looking for that there. [MUSIC] Fans is back to Unkunku, lovely footwork. Pass Lewis then went down. However, Kooka Raya then swings it across the area. That's blocked. I think Unkunku was looking for that as well, even though Lewis stood there and did sort of stick out his backside. Unkunku ran into it. So no penalty there either. [MUSIC] referee has stopped the game as Brian Diaz and Fabian Cher go head to head. And Brian Diaz hits the deck. And you know what is insinuating with that. Fabian Cher has been sent off. You can't have too many complaints about what you know the laws, right? You know, if you put your head into someone, you run the risk of a red card. Now, the argument would be is that, I mean, he just takes the bait completely, doesn't he? It's embarrassing what Brian Diaz does and the way he reacts like that. It really is embarrassing, not nice to see, but both put their heads together. It's just the way he goes down. [MUSIC] >> Tell you what, Rob. >> I mean, what a bump a weekend. There was dive after dive. I've got to name check the Manchester United players. Rob, you saw them as a little bit. Harry Maguire, you're better than that. Don Nacho, he's better than that. But then you had the Chelsea players, Nordian Kunku today. Enzo Fernandez, who had Joao Pedro from Brighton. Wow, wow, you shouldn't dive like that. But the winner, Rob, of the simulation game, bad boy Ben. Brerett and DS, I mean, what's he playing out there? Went down so easily. If that was the last taxi on the Rankin South Hampton City centre, Rob, would he have gone down like that? Would he absolutely not Ben? You're better than that. You're better than that. There's a ridiculous, ridiculous coming together from Fabian Shur and, come on, you don't go down like that, Rob. You don't go down like that, Rob. Do you? The winner of the simulation game is... We're calling them out, Rob. Ben, Brerett turned. Before the game, Chris, we asked for Man City fans. You're banging on about complacency once again. Second showing. Let's bring in a fan of the show. Well, I think Enzo is a fan of the show. How are you, Enzo? Welcome back to another 6th or 6th. Chris' same old, Chris Ena. Oh, flippin' out, Robby. It's just, you know, did we not do complacent from Mosside last season? I mean, I've got to say this season, you should be happy in your team one, but am I right? No, no, no, no, no, Chris, you do this. Just, I've got, actually, for wanting my life, I have my son in the car with me, because I've been to the Chelsea game today, and he lives down here. And he was 34 before City one, I think, and let me tell you, neither of us are ever going to be complacent. Maybe the kids are, because it's all they know, but not the older ones. So some, some Manchester City fans, let's be clear. You've just said some Manchester City fans are complacent, Ena. It's how you define complacency. I think the young ones expect to win. If that's complacency, then yes. But I don't expect to win. And we've had this conversation many times. You're just a wind-up merchant, Chris, if it's often. That is exactly what you are. And it's just to wind us up. It's an observation. No, you don't like City. You're always negative about us. Robbie, support me here, he's always connected. Yeah, I support you Ena. Yeah, you are Chris. But it's a stick-up for Chris, he did say some Manchester City fans are complacent. The younger generation, you may be said there Ena, they expect to win. Yeah, but isn't it too expect? I'm not, it's semantics, really. But as far as I'm concerned, and I know as far as James is concerned, you know, I went today not knowing. And I've got to say, I thought we were absolutely brilliant today. I don't know Robbie, how? They can pass the ball between each other so fast. Robbie wouldn't know. Here's one for you there. Ena, Ena, come on, what's Saved Ball at McAllsfield? He's going well three from three. He could be the next Manchester City manager when Pep leaves. So what is one for you Ena? What about, what about Julian Alvarez being let go by the club? I say being let go being sold. He's right. No, no, it's really good business. We made £70 million profit. And Pep is right. If a player does not want to play for you, he wanted to go, let him go. Look who we've bought. This Brazilian is really, really good. And I think he is right. Pep will not have players in his team that don't want to be there. Come on guys, you know as well as I do. There's only one way at City at the moment and it's Pep's way or no way. Julian Alvarez, I'm very grateful for what he's done for us and I wish him well. And it's £70 million in the bank. Ena, thank you Saved Trip back to North Wales Ena. Just explain to the listeners Ena. I'm sure she wants educating on what is Saved Ball. Oh well, it's winning football. Three from three. So come on, tell us, tell us what, I mean what, what, what, what, you know, what to Mackelsfield, fancy, game in game out. Well, we've seen so far, you've had a couple of turgid, one-nil wins, haven't you? We see high-pressing football. I play inverted wingers at my four-backs going outside. It's horrible. I play with two-sixes, you know, fast, aggressive, furious, furious, heavy metal. Yeah, Saved Ball, Saved Ball. You can't wait until you cannot wait until we get beaten. You can't wait. You've had a great start. You've had a great start. You've had a great start. You've had a great start. You've had a great start. You've had a great start. You've had a great start. You've had a great start. You've had a great start. You've had a great start. You've had a great start. You've had a great start. You've had a great start. You've had a great start. You've had a great start. You've had a great start. You've had a great start. You've had a great start. Oh, you've had a great start. Michael's there. Adam, how are you? Very well. Thank you and you. Yeah, we're good. Thanks. I'm a Chelsea fan. So I've just cycled home from the game, got home about half an hour ago. And just as I was clicked in, you said that Enzo had dived for his penalty shout. I had a quick look on on social media platform and as he went down or he went down after Man City player grabbed his knee, perhaps it was a bit innocuous, but it did put him off balance. And I think in theory it should be a penalty and it wasn't given. I don't know what you guys think in general, but I think when an attacker is in general fouled in the penalty area, but it could be 50-50. In general, I feel that elsewhere on the pitch, they would have won a free kick. And I think the other way around defenders tend to win a foul in their own penalty area. For instance, they're trying to shield ball and they're innocuously brushed off the ball or somehow pushed from behind. And I feel Chelsea should have got that penalty. Do you think that Enzo Fernandez, do you think he could have stayed on his feet? That's an answer for him to make. What do you think? Just watching it. I know I've viewed a couple of incidents with Enzo. I thought on both of them he could have stayed on his feet. But he wanted to try and calm the referee. And that's something we need to kick out of the game. It's entirely possible. But I think when you're running through on goal and someone makes even the slightest kind of touch on your knee in that particular part of the body, it can easily put you off balance. And something that commentators often say, and I know you guys say a lot as well, why would a player want to go down when they've got a good chance to shoot and score. If he did go down to try and win a penalty with perhaps not with trying to calm the referee, then he's a player who shouldn't be in the team. Thank you. That's the last call of the show. Thank you so much. It's a more sad ball. Maybe next week. You might be our first defeat where you'll be very happy, Christopher. Will we back with 6-6 next up is 7.30pm taking all your calls after the big one, Christopher Aston Villa, the Arsenal. Next up on 5-5, Gordon Smart is back, Christopher. What are you rules here?
