The FAN Morning Show

Going Around the Horn + More Jays Talk

The FAN Morning Show goes into Monday's final hour with Ben Ennis and Brent Gunning joined by a few friends. They start by bringing on SN 590’s own Sam McKee to go around the horn on a bunch of recent sports topics starting with the Blue Jays and if fans should care about seeing Joey Votto up in the majors. They then head to the NHL to discuss the Oilers' offer sheet dilemmas and some quick Leafs chatter, before wrapping with some dialogue on the PGA Playoffs. In the back half of the hour, Sportsnet's Blake Murphy joins the boys in-studio to dive deeper into the Jays' final stretch (26:15). The trio get into Bowden Francis' recent run on the mound, the team's offseason priorities, and what's ahead for Joey Votto and Davis Schneider, before analyzing the reports that MLB is looking to impose a six-inning minimum for starters.
