Day 125 - Read Judges 17-18

A man named Micah restored 1,100 pieces of silver to his mother that had been taken from her. A portion of the silver was used to make images to worship gods. Micah made an ephod, a garment worn by priests. A Levite traveled there to search for a place to live. Since the man was from the house of priests, Micah asked him to stay and become his priest. The Danites sought to take land as an inheritance. They became aware of this Levite and asked him to become their priest. He man agreed. The Danites took the land of Laish and burned the city. They rebuilt the city and named it Dan. They used the images that belonged to Micah in their worship practices.
