Here in the program, Craig White, joined by the producer Cameron Parker. We're with you here each and every weekday, afternoon, Monday through Friday. Start of the program at two o'clock in the afternoon. They're glad to have you with us. This is a Tuesday. So we say it's a Texas Tuesday. It's a Texan Tuesday as well. Texas in that we hear from Longhorn football players on Tuesdays. You know, Monday is Longhorn Mondays when we hear from head coach Steve Sarkeesian, the weekly news conference. We bring you the weekly news conference live at 11.30 in the morning. Our coverage actually started on our Longhorns Monday schedule at 11 a.m. every Monday. So we do that and my card ball, Harge and Cam, and also Lifetime Longhorn and our Texas Longhorn Radio Network sideline reporter, Will Matthews, joining us on Mondays, starting at 11 a.m. And then at 11.30, we bring you coach Sarge weekly news conference live. And quite frequently, like we did yesterday, we'll give away tickets on Longhorn Mondays. So just keep that in mind. We gave away a pair of tickets yesterday. And we will do that on occasion. That's on Mondays. And then Tuesday, what I like to call our Texas Tuesday, when we hear from Texas Longhorn players and talk about other topics and Texas high school football as well, with Greg Tepper, managing editor of Dave Campbell's Texas football magazine joins us. So we have a Texas Tuesday. And then Wednesdays, of course, we're busy on Wednesday. And then on Wednesdays, after the program, we kind of shuttle over to Pluckers, the West Campus location. That's a 2222 Rio Grande, because on Wednesdays is when we record Longhorn Weekly with Coach Sarge. Sarge comes over on Wednesdays, and we record the program from 6 to 7 p.m. So if you want to be there at the restaurant, to enjoy some great wings and hear football talk from the head coach, join us on Wednesdays at 6. The program itself will air on Thursdays at 7, normally. Now this week, I know this is a lot for you to take in. It'd be a lot. This would be about the time, if I was explaining all this to Linda, she would say stop. Just don't do that. Just one day at a time, okay? But I'm just kind of laying out the program calendar of the schedule. This particular week, Thursday, correct me if I'm wrong, Kim. Longhorn Weekly will air at 5 o'clock in the afternoon this Thursday, because we have Round Rock Express baseball in Thursday. Correct? Okay, just wanted to make sure of that. So normally, you'll hear the show Thursday nights at 7. But in this case, it'll be Thursday at 5 o'clock this week because of the Round Rock Express game. But if you want to be there when we record the show with SARC, that's Wednesdays. So that'll be tomorrow. And we do that from 6 to 7. When we get into basketball season, it's live 6 to 7 with Rodney Terry. But it's recorded on Wednesdays at 6, and then it airs normally at 7 on Thursday. This particular week, it'll be at 5 o'clock. So come out, enjoy some chicken wings. Yeah. Some fries, some cold beer, SARC, and then there's a special guest too, right, Craig? We're going to have special guests from time to time. I think this week, we may have a special guest who is going into the long run all of us. Oh, I'll just tell you that much. But you have to come out and see for yourself if that's the case. I can't remember if I've asked you this question before, so forgive me if I have your favorite wing flavor. At Pluckers? Yeah. It depends on the wing place. Oh, really? Huge dry rub. Grow like parm. That's my number one right now. But the dry rub Cajun flavor has been making a late push. Okay. I can always go for the classic mild buffalo sauce. Yep. You know, that's just steady. It's consistent. And then there's one other flavor. I always forget the name. And it's like the gold rush. Yeah, they have gold rushes, yeah. Gold rush is, I think it's number four for me. I like those are the four that I rotate. And I'll try and push it up. Because, well, starting Wednesday, Craig, we're going to be at Pluckers, basically once a week, our end of life may. Yeah. So, you know, we try. Certainly, it's well and tomorrow. Try and switch up. What are you there? Yeah, I think I've asked you this before, but I know how much you enjoy the beverage. Dr. Pepper, have you ever had the Dr. Pepper wings? I have not. The people told me they're good. They're good. They're good. And I like them a lot. I'm with you. Right tomorrow. We're going to add it. Yeah. Okay. There you go. I like the mild buffalo as well. But I'm also, every now and then, I don't mind a little kick. Now, I don't go firing the hole. I can't do that. I did one, one time when I was doing a show with a good friend, Rod Babers, several years ago. We were at Pluckers at 183 and Burnit. During the show? During the show. Oh my goodness. Did you finish the show? That was part of it. That was part of it. He was all over me to make sure to try one time and, you know, get off wimpishness and all this stuff. And I said, I'll tell you what. You know, I don't do hot well other than, I do things like horseradish and wasabi hot. That's a different kind. And I love that. But the temperature heats stuff. I don't do well with it. But I said, I'll do it. I'll try one. And I did. And it kind of lit me up. But the taste was good. The taste was good. It just, it was really, really hot. So anyway, I'm with you. I kind of like the buffalo mild. And I also want to do one a little extra heat. I like for a long time, it wasn't on the menu. It was a fan suggested, a customer suggested. And they finally, it got suggested so often. And my son suggested it to me. And now it's on the menu. Spicy lemon pepper. Yeah. So it's a lemon pepper that's rolled in medium buffalo. Okay. So it's got, it's got a little heat. Check to it. But it's not, it's not bad. It's very tasty. Anyway, so lots of way. This is how we know we're closer to football season. We're talking wings. That's what happens, you know? We need closer to the start of football season. You start talking about wings. And we love being out of pluckers. And so we will be out there. By the way, on the text line, our friend, our man, our listener, CPAL. Says in my coaching career, I've coached versus frost versus Italy. And for itasca, no winters. Hi. Says, you know, I'm going to do Friday. You have to remind me of this. I'll do this in the two o'clock hour on Friday. I will name my top 10 Texas high school football mascot names. Okay. That'll be Friday. And I'll even give you the auxiliary list of some of my favorite names that are not Texas high school names. Because some of those are out there. They're out there. But I'll give you my top 10 Texas high school football mascot names on Friday. We were talking about the streaming thing. You mentioned how much it could cost people. I think you and I saw the same story. Maybe it was on the athletic where it listed how much it would cost you if you wanted to make available, to make available the opportunity to watch every single NFL game, to put yourself in a position where through Sunday ticket or through streaming or whatever, to watch every single NFL regular season. And then this is an important and post season game. Because remember, I mean, it was is it now two playoff games are going to be on that screen, right? Yeah. And then and then one also on on Amazon again. Yeah. So so they take a price, Craig, is $380 a year. That's when they take it. Now, if you want to watch Thursday night football. But but but wait, before you even get to that. If you want the NFL Sunday ticket, you said it's three eighty nine. And three eighty, yeah, three eighty. But you have to have YouTube TV to get it. Yeah. So so you have to subscribe to YouTube. That's the roadblock I ran into because YouTube TV really didn't add anything for me that I didn't already have. And then I was like, yeah, it's not worth it. They're tending to to add to add that additional subscription. That's why I didn't do it. But but let's just say if you had it, okay, we won't even roll that cost into it. But if we did, you'd have that cost on top of it. But let's just we'll leave that out and say and start with the three eighty. Okay. So three eighty, that's for NFL Sunday ticket just on YouTube TV. Okay. So that gets you Sunday games, right? Now, if you want to watch Thursday night football, you need Amazon Prime. Yep. That is a hundred and forty dollars per year. You can pay per monthly at fifteen dollars a month. But we're just going by the per year basis. One hundred and forty dollars for Amazon Prime. I I've got the calculator out of working here. Now, some games will be on peacock, right? Yep. NFL playoff game that peacock is eighty dollars per year. So that it's about eight dollars a month. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. All right. So but you said eighty dollars. Okay. Okay. All right. All right. And then don't forget for the first time this season Netflix will stream to NFL games. So that's about I think seven dollars a month with with ads. Um, I don't know what they do a per year basis actually. Okay. But seven dollars per month. That's eighty four dollars a year. And you did it per month. When are those games? One of the Netflix games, you know? When are the NFL Netflix games? Not doing Christmas. The Christmas day. So yeah. So you only need it for one month. So that's only seven seven dollars with ads. Okay. If you want the standard, that's fifteen. Am I missing any streaming networks? Is it those? Those are the four, right? Those are the four. Okay. Those are the four. How much are we looking at? Uh, right now that's six hundred and seven dollars. Okay, cool, cool, cool. All right. So that's the to watch that's to make it available for you to watch every possible NFL game. It's a six hundred dollar investment above what you're already doing. Now, some folks would say that's absolutely crazy. You know, the folks would say it's not that big a deal. I mean, I pay 149 or 189 or something for MLB extra innings. So I can watch Dodgers and I get my money's worth out of it. Yeah. You watch it every day, right? Almost. Almost. I'll be watching tonight as they play the Orioles big series going on in Los Angeles tonight. But, um, and I get the NBA package because I want to see the Mavericks. And now my son is back home from college. He likes seeing the Oklahoma City Thunder. Okay. So we like having those because we're in the Spurs market. I don't mind the Spurs. I like the Spurs. I like, but I like seeing the Mavericks too. And occasionally I might want to see some weird game. I'm weird that way. Oh, King's Warriors on the West Coast. Let me, that's not on TMT. Let me, let me watch that some night or some. So I get that too. Get the NBA package. Um, you know, I used to get the NHL sort of watch the Carolina Hurricanes. And then that got to center ice. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The NHL center ice. Also, most of those games are on ESPN plus. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So I stopped doing it because we didn't even include ESPN from on the net football. Well, which, well, technically, I guess is part of your cable or satellites. But that's an extra 50 bucks a month. So about 650 bucks. But you can watch on ESPN plus, I believe. And how much is that per month? Yeah. Yeah. 10, 11 bucks. I think it's 10, 99. Something like that. Back in that price too. Have you got to the point yet where you're going to make Jason start like, Hey, if you're watching, okay. See, you got to pay half of this, right? But at the end, we're going to give you're going to give him a job first. Any, any parks and rec departments out there hiring a dude just graduate. He's got a degree from college and his concentration was in sport and leisure studies. He has a bachelor of science at education, but he wants to get into parks and rec and really likes that or recreation programs at a university, things of that nature. So anybody know of an opening? Give a shout. All right. We've got, we're going to hear some long-born football sound coming up next on sports radio. I am 13 under the zone with the lucky land sluts.
