Red wine has been enjoyed for thousands of years and is often associated with relaxation, celebration and even health benefits when consumed in moderation. From the robust flavors of Cabernet Chabion to the smooth notes of Merlot, there's a red wine to suit every palate. The antioxidants in red wine is also known to promote heart health. So pour yourself a glass of your favorite red and toast to the rich history and flavors of this beloved beverage. Are you a red wine drinker? I am. If I want to go to sleep, red wine really relaxes me and makes me sleepy. Yeah. Or with a good steak. Oh yeah, I always have to have a good red wine with a steak. What's your favorite red wine? Ooh, it would probably have to be between a Merlot and maybe a Pinot Noir. I'm more partial to the Malbecs from South America. Those have got a certain sum. Ooh, fancy pants over there, huh? Speaking of fancy, let's switch gears to fashion with National Boatai Day. This dapper accessory dates back to the 17th century originating from Croatian mercenaries who used scarves to hold their shirts closed. Over time, the bow tie evolves into a symbol of sophistication and style, worn by everyone from Winston Churchill to James Bond. Whether you're dressing up for a formal event or adding a touch of flair to your everyday outfit, a bow tie can make a bold statement. So why not don a bow tie today and embrace a bit of classic elegance? Is that a bow tie on a t-shirt that you have on buddy? Yeah, of course it is. Remember I got rid of all my dress up shirts. And what is printed on the bow tie? Smiley faces. Huh, interesting. That's a very unique fashion statement. Yes, I'm a very unique fashion person. It's very bold. Thank you. Please don't go out like that. I won't. I will enjoy Johnson. And I'm Chris Van Daventer. Thank you for joining us on our journey to celebrate every day. And join us for all of our celebrations on Facebook and Instagram at Destination Celebration Show. Until next time, keep celebrating. Now let's see who's celebrating on today's birthday club. Here we go. Names for the 28th. Crickets. I have no names for today. No one told me about a birthday for the 28th. I have the 29th, 30th, 31st, got all those covered. And I'm taking more names now. So yes, I need 29th, 30th, 31th. Finish the month. Yep, that finishes up kind of neatly on the birthday club this week. And I'm also taking September birthdays. You can text those to me, get in on our giveaway on Friday 3, 3, 6, 9, 3, 2, 1, 8, 8, 1. I do have some big name birthdays today. Jack Black, 55, Daniel Stern, 67, Honey Boo Boo, 19, Leanne Rhimes, 42, Jake Owen, 43. In today's music spotlight, we remember Jim Reeves born August 20th, 1923. This hit number one in 1960. Put your sweet lips a little closer to the phone. Let's pretend that we're together all alone. I'll tell the man to turn the jukebox way down low. And you can tell your friend there with you, he'll have to go. Whisper to me, tell me, do you love me true? Or is he holding you the way I do? The love is blind, make up your mind, I've got to know. Should I hang up, or will you tell him he'll have to go? You can't say the words I want to hear while you're with another man. Do you want me answer, yes or no, darling, I will understand. Put your sweet lips a little closer to the phone. Let's pretend that we're together all alone. I'll tell the man to turn the jukebox way down low. And you can tell your friend there with you, he'll have to go. Always nice. That was kind of short. Oh, look, we've got a little extra time. How about another one, maybe a little faster, okay? Back about 1,800 in sun, I'll lose the ant a couple, had a red-headed son. No name suited in Jim Jack for Joe, they'd just call him Billy Bio, Billy Billy Bio, watch where you go. And you're walking on quicksand, walk slow, Billy Billy Bio, watch what you say, a pretty girl will get you one of these days. Billy was a boy, kind of big for his size, red pine, freckles and big blue eyes, 13 years from the day he was born. Bill fucked the battle of the little big horn, Billy Billy Bio, watch where you go. You're walking on quicksand, walk slow, Billy Billy Bio, watch what you say, a pretty girl will get you one of these days. One sad babe, Billy cried, ho, ho, I can whip the feathers off a gee runny moe, he smarted it off. The chief got mad, this nearly ended, I'll lose the ant a lad, Billy Billy Bio, watch where you go. You're walking on quicksand, walk slow, Billy Billy Bio, watch what you say, a pretty girl will get you one of these days. One day in 1878, a pretty girl walked through Bill's front gate, he didn't know whether to stand there or run, he wound up married cause he didn't either one, Billy Billy Bio, watch where you go. You're walking on quicksand, walk slow, Billy Billy Bio, watch what you say, a pretty girl will get you one of these days, a pretty girl will get you one of these days. Jim Reis, that was shorter than the other one. Now today's motivational moment, thanks to Livingstone Wealth Management, Raymond James in Madison, perhaps the butterfly is proof that you can go through a great deal of darkness yet become something beautiful. Nice graphic with that on our Facebook page. I do have our motivational moment, usually the same as I have here in this newscast, but sometimes different and that is five o'clock, five a.m. seven days a week, lots of folks like that, I got a lot of good comments and shares, so thank you for that. And thank you for listening today friends, have a wonderful Wednesday. Be sure to count your blessings today. [BLANK_AUDIO]
