Hi, it's Roger here, from What's On Disney Plus. A concrete news update for you guys on a brand new Elton John's special coming soon at Disney Plus. But before we go any further, make sure you do hit that subscribe button to keep up with the latest Disney Plus news. Disney has announced details of a brand new special which is going to come into Disney Plus on a Friday the 13th of December and it's called Elton John at Never Look Back. And it's been directed by RJ Cutler along with David Ferris and David is actually also Elton John's husband. This documentary follows Disney legend Elton John as he looks back at his life and the astonishing early days of his 50-year career in his emotionally charged intimate and uplifting full circle journey as he prepares for his final concert in North America at the Dodger Stadium. Elton takes us back in time to recount the extraordinary highs and heartbreaking loads of his early career and how he overcame adversity, abuse, and addiction to become the icon that he is today. The film also features a brand new original song and it's also going to be released for a limited time only in cinemas here in the UK and in the US firm at November 15th. If you want to see this one on the big screen that was a great opportunity to do so. This film was originally an act as part of a deal where they also got access to that last concert from Dodger Stadium which we saw on Disney Plus from two years ago now. So if you haven't seen that one check it out fantastic one. Now I'm really looking forward to watching this documentary with a big fan of Elton John for a far back as I can remember because he's been around a while. Now I was lucky enough to see him on his final tour when he had a date near me. So when it's something I've been wanting to do for a long time he didn't disappoint had an amazing night. So really we'd just like to see a little bit more about his career. Obviously we've had films like Rocket Man but it's always sometimes nice with documentaries you can go into a little bit more detail. Hopefully the movie doesn't gloss over too much of the stuff that goes on in his life because I think that's kind of needed for these kind of documentaries. The fact that they mention that in the press release is a good thing. Like I said it's just nice to see Disney leaning in more on giving us lots of music specials even making loads of them. They've been definitely turning them out and making deals and obviously the audience is responding to this in a good way because they keep doing it and I think that's probably a good thing. It helps the artists but also more importantly gives us a little bit more choice on Disney Plus. So I'm definitely looking forward to watching this documentary when it drops on to Disney Plus but let me know are you going to be checking this documentary out or not too sure and I'd love to hear your thoughts on that in the comments below.
