It's "Hold Back the Night" [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] So the instrumental version then of "Hold Back the Night" which was released by the tramps And well, it was quite a good idea for people who liked karaoke because they could sing along themselves to the backing [Music] So a lot of tunes, a lot of the tunes had a really nice instrumental backing with all the strings and everything marvelous [Music] So we've got a memory now. This is from R&I. There was a guy called AJ Burns who did the shortwave R&I Goes DX thing And he then went on to do one for a radio Atlantis as well. So this is a little recording I've found from AJ Burns And it's the R&I one. Bit of fun. You are tuned to 6-0-5. In the 49-meter band, you are with AJB right here on R&I analysis. For in 1958, there was a wee ship searching to form. And then surprise surprise. The days at Radio Mecor. That was good. And then the days the Swedes and the Dutch. They all got pirates, so plenty so much. [Music] And if you thought you'd heard the end of it all, you'd better change your mind. More England soon heard a new station call. 199 is Caroline. [Music] Yeah, as well. A bit of fun there from AJ Burns. I'm sure that I'll bring back some memories for you. [Music] So the next one was used by Radio Veronica quite a lot. And also now Edmunds, I think, on Radio 1. Used to use this tune. It's called The Kid. And it's also known as Holiday. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Fabulous tune there. And they got mixed up with the labels on the record. One side said The Kid and the other said Holiday. And it's not, we're not too sure really which one it was called. So we just give it both of the names and stay on the safe side. [Music] News coming up at five.
