[Music] Glad it's not the pips and I heard it through the grapevine. So we've got a slip disc coming up after the next song which has quite a long introduction. I think I hope. This Ringo star from the 70s and a song called "Photograph" Every time I see your face it reminds me of the place that we used to go. But all I've got is a photograph and I realize you're not coming back anymore. I thought I'd make it, but take you away from me. But I can't make it till you come home again to stay. I can't get used to living here from my heart broke my tears of pride to you. I want to be here to have an over the years of life and we grew old and brave. [Music] Now you're expecting me to live without you. But that's not something that I'm looking forward to. I can't get used to living here from my heart broke my tears of pride to you. I want you here to have an over the years of life and we grew old and brave. [Music] Every time I see your face it reminds me of the place that we used to go. But all I've got is a photograph and I realize you're not coming back anymore. Every time I see your face it reminds me of the place that we used to go. But all I've got is a photograph and I realize you're not coming back anymore. Do you remember the Kodak Instamatics? We thought that we were almost science fiction, didn't we? An instant photo. Now no one bothers only the camera, do it all on the phone. Ringo Starr and a song called Photograph. Now the first slip disc and it's a cacophony, so be warned. But it was a huge hit. It's like someone's under attack doesn't it? Contact Bigel Radio now, phone. Oh, one, two, five, five, eight, eight, one, one, three. It's a hell of a battle. Here's another song that should have been a hit. Good for yourself on an elevator going high. Good for yourself on an elevator heading for the sky. Let the world pass your path down below. Let yourself on an elevator going high. Good for yourself on an elevator heading for the sky. Let your mind start to laugh, let it go. Let it go where it wants to under freely. Let it go to your troubles on the ground, tumbling down. Good for yourself on an elevator going high. Let it go to your troubles on the ground, tumbling down. Good for yourself on an elevator going high. Good for yourself on an elevator heading for the sky. Let the world pass your path down below. Good for yourself on an elevator going high. That's a band called Grapefruit. I think they had a minor hit with "Come on, Marianne", a cover of a four-season song. That was another single of theirs called "Elevator". Two people have got this cacophony right. It wouldn't have been the same without the machine gun, would it? Anita! Yes, you've got it right, so is Stuart in Cornwall. In 1973, I think it was, might have been one year either side. Jeff Rotal released a concept album. Yes, they were the things of the day. Back in those days, it's sort of prog-rock and concept albums, and this was called "Thick as a Brick", and the cover of the record, which I've still got somewhere, was a mock-up of a newspaper front page. Unfortunately for radio, the music, it was all one track. "Thick as a Brick" lasted 40 minutes across both sides of the record. Fortunately, some kind person has edited it down to under three minutes. Really don't mind if you sit this one out. I may make you feel that I can't make you think. He spends in the gutter, he loves in the sink. So you ride yourself over the fields, and you make all your animal fields, and your wife's men know now how it feels. "Thick as a Brick" and the sand castle that used her all swept away. In the tidal destruction, the moral mille he. The elastic retreats, rings the pleathers of play. As the last wave uncovers, the new vangled wing. But you knew she was a one of the keys. And your suntan was wrapped in a ring. And your wife's men know now how it feels. "Thick as a Brick" and the love that I feel is so far away. I'm a bad dream that I just made. And you shake your head, he said it's a shame. "Spin me back down the years and the days of my youth." "Draw the lace and black curtains and shut out the whole truth." "Spin me down the long ages, let them sing the song." Jess Rotal and the heavily edited "Thick as a Brick" You've got our old Portsmouth football manager there. Yes, you've got it right, and Mickey Demba's got it right as well. I'm all shawadi-wadi though. [Music] Your head spins round on a Monday and the daylight's in your eyes. How you'll often curse tomorrow. Now you're standing by your side. You touch the stars at midnight. The whole world seemed to shout hello. Now your throat is tight and heavy. And only one can go. I'll be all right, though I may cry. The teas that flow they always draw. It's just that I would rather be with you now. And every time I see that's done, I will sail proud for you. Now and forever. September blue. [Music] Now be all right, though I may cry. The teas that flow they always draw. It's just that I would rather be with you now. And every time I see that's done, I will sail proud for you. Now and forever. September blue. 'Cause I'll always love you. September blue. [Music] Chris Rhea from the album Dancing With Strangers, the one with Let's Dance on it, the first time round, and the song called September Blue. Whenever news breaks, F-S-N is there. I'm Nick Harper in Washington. Isabella Curia in Kampala. Bruce Harrison, Saul. Award-winning objective news coverage for TV, radio and digital networks. We'll have a long song, something to bring a smile to your face and the original five friend ten chart recall, a Thursday evening swari, 7 p.m. on The Big L. More fun more music. We interrupt this program to annoy you and make things generally irritating. [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] As the Dooley brothers, and what some of them were, and a song called "Love Trapped" on The Big L, the heart and soul of rock and roll, and we've got this quiz on the go. [Music] I think there's some more correct answers come through that I haven't got round to yet, but there may also be someone going, put your bed down and give us a clue. So this is an early 70s hit, if it wasn't a number one, it was close. It was a group inviting you to watch their better half move on the dance floor. [Music] And it could be said the name of the group is that someone with sort of mystical powers. [Music] What is a B side? Well, you see, it's the other side of the record, the one no one ever plays, you know that one. The A side B side this afternoon is the supreme second hit single, the B side of which was called "Ask any girl". [Music] It's a feeling that's hard to hide, but you don't seem to understand why. When I'm alone, I still cry. [Music] I'll get together. Who's often left but alone? By theirself. Make it quick for me. Push the side. Set a time like a dog. On a shelf, just as any girl. [Music] I sit and cry. Ask any girl. Who knows the feeling? Someone did. Until take the same thing. It hurts you deep. Makes it hard to sleep. Don't take my word. Ask any girl. When you understand why. I'll sit and cry. [Music] [Music] Ask any girl. [Music] Ask any girl. When you know why. I sit and cry. I sit and cry. [Music] You've heard the B-side. Here's the hits. [Music] [Music] My baby love. I need you. I need you. What all you do is treat me bad. Break my heart and leave me sad. Y'all know what did I do wrong. To make you stay away so long. Cause baby love. My baby love. I've been missing you. Miss kissing you. Instead of breaking up. There's nothing kissing and making up. Don't throw eye love away. In my arms why. Don't you stay. Me too. Me too. [Music] Baby love. My baby love. Why must we all stop the rain I love. All of my whole life through. I know that I'm no one but you. Why you do me like you do. I get this knee. [Music] Me too. Once again my love. Feel you want me and raise my love. Don't throw eye love away. Please don't do me this way. Not happy like they used to be. [Music] Like the best of me my love. My baby love. I need you. [Music] Why you do me like you do. [Music] After I've been to you. I'm so deep in love with you. [Music] Supremes and baby love. Ask any girls on the other side of it. Well done to Crabtree. Now to delivery Dave and to Maureen who's got the artist on the quiz. [Music] Now a one hit wonder unless he got that one wrong. [Music] Here we go. Breaking up on we have built. Leaving out. All the things that we have felt. When was I? Where was I before you came? And from the first time that I saw you. I knew. And maybe I. Maybe I'll do something wrong. How I was right. But the words won't bet the song found the place. But I couldn't find the key. And from the first time that I saw you. I thought. But you may be. So don't throw it away. I don't want to be the one who's gonna have to bet you stay. I don't want to be the one to change your mind by my time. Please stay. Don't throw it all away. [Music] No it seems. But I just take it all on you. Don't let you know. But only you can't get me through by my door. Now I know that you're the key. It's from the first time that I saw you. I thought. But you may be. So don't throw it all away. I don't want to be the one who's gonna have to bet you stay. I don't want to be the one to change your mind by my time. Please stay. Don't throw it all away. I don't want to be the one who's gonna have to bet you stay. I don't want to be the one who's gonna have to bet you stay. I don't want to be the one who's gonna change your mind by my time. Please stay. Don't throw it all away. [Music] Gary Benson, and don't throw it all away. Hello. I'm Mr. Rand. [Music] A horse is a horse, of course, of course. And no one can talk to a horse, of course. It is, of course, unless the horse is the famous Mr. Rand. Go right to the source and ask the horse. He'll give you the answer that you endorse. He's always on a steady course. Talk to Mr. Rand. [Music] But Mr. Ed will never speak unless he has something to say. A horse is a horse, of course, of course. And this one will talk to his voice, his horse. You never heard of a talking horse. Well, listen to this. I am Mr. Ed. [Music] She wandered through the garden fence. Said I bought a great expensive portion, guaranteed to bring. Relief from all your suffering. Although I said you don't exist, you gross me firmly by the risk. You threw me down upon my back, strapped me to a torture rack. And without further arguments, I found my mind. It was all so men, upon a car so devious. It only made my torment worse. She said I see you cannot speak. Is it your voice that is too weak? Is it your tongue that is too plain? Maybe you cannot speak for shame, or has your brain been idle too. And now it will not think for you. I hastened to make my reply. I found that I could only lie. Like a fool, I believed myself. And thought I was somebody else. She could see what I was meant. And left me on a whole weekend. Like a fool, I believed myself. And thought I was somebody else. She could see what I was meant. And left me on a whole weekend. She wandered through the garden fence. She said I bought a great expensive portion, guaranteed to bring. Relief from all your suffering. Though I said you don't exist. She crossed me firmly by the risk. Threw me down upon my back. Strap me to her torture rack. And without further arguments. I found my mind. It was all so men, upon a car so devious. It only made lots of men work. [Music] Prokohara, but she wandered through the garden fence. Oh, that's a bit of the theme tune to Mr. Ed by J Livingston. I don't remember that. I think that was before my time. Here at Big L International, all the staff and crew would like to say a big thank you to everybody who's made a donation toward the running cost of the station. That truth hurts, doesn't it? Oh sure. Maybe not as much as jumping on a bicycle with a seat missing, but it hurts. All right, I'm sure that we can handle this situation materially, just like the responsible adults that we are. Isn't that right, Mr. Puppy Pants? I should be better up without you. You take a pie and make me blue. I'm telling you, my friend, it's got to be the end with you. I told you time and time again. You told me you were just afraid. But I found that some way I've seen him every day with you. 'Cause you never leave me deadly. You got no reason for leaving me 'cause I can be alone. 'Cause I'm you from a spot. 'Cause you never leave me deadly. You got no reason for leaving me 'cause I can be alone. 'Cause I'm you from a spot. You be daring me a part sooner or later. Now my mind is a fool. No longer a shit or two for you. I'm telling you, my friend, it's got to be the end with you. 'Cause I'm you from a spot. You got no reason for leaving me 'cause I can be alone. 'Cause I'm you from a spot. You got no reason for leaving me 'cause I can be alone. 'Cause I'm you from a spot. You got no reason for leaving me 'cause I can be alone. 'Cause I'm you from a spot. Now, for the answers to last week's questions, complete the following song titles first, When I Leave The. Well, of course the answer was the world behind, and not the bathroom as I would wish to find it, if I may suggest it. Question two, the girl that I marry will have two. Well, most of you thought that line was complete, so... Go on to question three. He's got a fine brown. And the answer to that is frame. And I will not enter into any correspondence about that with anybody, right? Oh, Michael, you're such a thick-o. And in life a possible way. And you're right. I did just finish a picture with Donnie Othman. Did you know he had a glass eye? Neither did I, but it came out during the course of the conversation. I mean, I knew about the teeth. They bit me once, and he wasn't even there. But I love those old stars, don't you? He's the Mormon you know. They have all those wives. I'm not into polygamy, myself. I tried it 30 or 40 times, didn't like it. I'm a one-man woman. Otherwise, it's too crowded, don't you think? Apparently this is the original version of a British hit. Don't throw your love away. Don't throw your love away. For you I did it some day. Don't throw your dreams away. No, no, no, no. Keep them another day. For you I needed some day. Love is on the stage. Just throw their dreams away and play as long. They give their love away to anyone who say I love you. Don't throw your love away. No, no, no, no. Don't throw your love away. For you I did it some day. [music] Go out and hang a boat. You better have your fun with one and all. But don't throw your love. [music] That's the all-ons and a song they did as a B-side that the searchers took to number one in 1964. Don't throw your love away. Now Mickey Knappworth wants to hear one of these. From me to you, another Beatles classic with Gary Jackson. [music] When I'm walking beside her, people tell me I'm lucky. Yes, I know I'm a lucky guy. I remember the first time I was lonely without her. I can't stop thinking about her now. Every little thing she does. She does for me, yeah. And you know the thing she does. She does for me, ooh. When I'm with her, I'm happy. Just to know that she loves me. Yes, I know that she loves me now. There is one thing I'm sure of. I will love her forever. For I know love will never die. Every little thing she does. She does for me, yeah. And you know the thing she does. She does for me, ooh. [music] Every little thing she does. She does for me, yeah. And you know the thing she does. She does for me, ooh. [music] Every little thing. Every little thing. Beatles from Beatles for Sale in the UK. That was Every Little Thing requested by Mick in Nebworth. Now it's time. [music] Time for this week's Triple Decker. And as I said, we're going back a bit with this song. Join, join me. This song is the Triple Decker. [music] Red sails in the sunset. Way out of the sea. Carry my loved one. [music] Red sails in the sunset. Way out of the sea. Carry my loved one. [music] Feel free to disagree. Contact Bigel Radio now. [music] Red sails in the sunset. Way out of the sea. Carry my loved one. [music] [music] If it's love that you're running from, there's no hiding place. Can't run, can't run, can't run. Love has problems and love has their problems. We're just having a face for it. If you just put your hand in mind, we're gonna leave all our troubles behind. We're gonna walk in all our plans. [music] [music] If you're first of a broken heart, there's something that can be done. [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] Love can be a beautiful thing. Though you're free to love, let your down. [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] The temptations, and don't look back. Well, some brave souls have had to go at this early juncture. In fact, there's more for me to look at in a minute, but the ones I've had to look at, Anita has numbers one and two correct, and Crabtree has numbers one and two correct. No Bing Crosby, no little Richard. [music] I think if you mention the name Bill Ody, most people think of the goodies. But in the 1960s, he was a bit of a serious pop singer, and this is a cigar he released called "I Can't Get Through". [music] I would have thought that in this town of clothes, [music] a man could never be alone. [music] I would have thought that in these. [music] You never need be on his own. [music] But no, I walk out in blue ground. No, I don't come up too loud. I'm not impressed with what I say or what I do. I can't get through to anyone. [music] I would have thought that being young like me. [music] When me my eyes were open wide. [music] But being young will never guarantee. [music] That I would want to look inside. [music] And then I see me get low. And then I see I'm growing cold. I'm not impressed with what I say or what I do. I can't get through to anyone. You're not to blame me. And then I see me get low. And then I see I'm growing cold. I'm not impressed with what I say or what I do. I can't get through to anyone. I can't get through to anyone. I can't get through to anyone. I can't get through to anyone. I can't get through to anyone. Bill Ody from the 1960s. And he can't get through. Well, of course in those days you just push button B and got your money back, didn't you? No bin Crosby, no little Richard, no McGill 5. Good guess though. I'll get that sort of little blue beat rhythm going there. Buddy Holly, no, not him as well. Well done to Stephen North East London who set the clacks and off. Got the maximum three. Rundi got the maximum three. Stuart and Patricia have both got numbers one and two corrects. Let's fail in the sunset. Way out of the sea. Carry my loved one again. Oh, hold me safely to me. I'm telling you how. Oh, yeah, telling you why. Oh, yeah, telling you where. Right now. Get out to the system. It's crazy, it's cruel. You thought that was going to be fine after when it's cruel. Come on with a sweet talk. Be really at me. Give nothing away. Keep making my head. Some of you make their windows hardy. Get into the system. Watch out. The system is fine. When it's the end of the run. Then it's goodbye. So live for the moment. There'll be time to pay. Don't ask, love will have lots of love for you today. Come on with a sweet talk. Come on with a smile. Oh, love is a cheat. Oh, it's breathe, come and sleep. But finish comes in a very little while. I'm telling you how. Oh, yeah. Telling you why. Oh, yeah, telling you when. Oh, yeah, telling you now. Let's go! When you play the system, you land. Every race across you will burn. Then you find there is no return. You're on your own. Get out to the system. Watch out. Move with the system. It's fine. When it's the end of the run. Then it's goodbye. [Music] I'm telling you how. Oh, yeah, telling you why. Oh, yeah, telling you when. Oh, yeah, telling you now. Let's go! Get out to the system. My shine. Move with the system. So fine. When it's the end of the run. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. That's a search of the song that I think only appeared on EP here in the UK from a film with the same name, the system. Was the title of that. Well done to, I think I mentioned delivery. Dave has got a full house. He just comes through with a full house. And Mick in their birth has numbers one and two correct. So we're heading in the right direction. We're going to do a song that the right honorable gentleman has never heard before. [Music] Hey, come on, babe. Come on, don't be. Don't be looking like that. I don't want you to be depressed or hung up on anything. You see, we got something going for us between our sides. You know, and like, I want to be your everything. I want you to know that you got me to depend on, to lean on, to talk to, to walk with. And if you need somebody to love you, baby, what do you I am, baby? Come get what I got for you. Let me wrap my hearts around. Honey, let me squeeze them all your tight. Let me give you all the love you need. Lord, I want to give you love tonight. Let me wrap my arms around. Honey, let me squeeze them all your tight. Let me give you all what you want. And what you really, really need tonight. God, this love, it shows so now. The best love that I've ever had, this love. It will lose this magic feeling that we've got. Lord, I've learned even a common man, man, man. I want to give you what you want, baby, baby. Let me squeeze, squeeze them all your tight. I want to give this love to myself. I don't want you to give it to nobody. Hey, hey, hey. Come here, woman. You can bring that to your investment. Let's kiss me. I'll smudge you. I'll smudge you. I'll smudge you. I'll smudge you. I'll smudge you. I'll smudge you. Yeah. Well, my mom's around you holding tight. Giving up this love that you need tonight. I'm gonna love you, hell, love you, right. Don't say it again for my friends now, honey. Yeah. Yeah. Right, my mom's around you holding tight. Give me all the love that you have on me. I'll smudge you. I'll smudge you. Love you tonight. Oh, honey. Gonna love you, hell, love you. Love you tonight. Oh, honey. Gonna love you, hell, love you. You've been hurt so much you don't understand. When you get like a joseph, a command. I've been hurt that guy was so weak too. But here's one thing, girl, we both can do. Forget about the past. Come here, honey, I'm just mad. Right, my mom's around you holding tight. Oh, honey, love you, hell, love you, right. Leave it or not, honey. Tonight's the night. Oh, let me say again, honey. Night. Right, my mom's around you holding tight. From the mid '70s on the chess record label, that was Solomon Burke. And a song called "Let Me Wrap My Arms Around You". I went for an interview as a bar made at that strip club at the alley. But the boss measured me and he said, I was too small to be atop this bar made. Huge, too small. He must be at least 38. Oh, no, not me fast, me eyes. You see, I'm only 5' and he said that when I was dashing up and down beyond the bar, I might knock all the glasses off. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] They sold more than singles, the 1970s album track. Yeah, a track coming up now from the Who's Next album released in 1971 from an aborted project called Lighthouse or Lighthouse, I think, that's Pete Townsend wrote. And it wasn't released in its full entirety, so a lot of the tracks ended up on the Who's Next album. I'm not sure if this was one of them, though. A song called Behind Blue Eyes. [Music] No one knows what it's like to be the bad man to be the sad man behind blue eyes. No one knows what it's like to be hated, to be faded, to telling only lies. But my dreams, they aren't as empty as my conscience seems to be. I have powers only lonely. My love is vengeance that's never free. No one knows what it's like to feel these feelings, like I do. And I blame you. No one likes back as hard a man could. None of my pain and war can show blue. But my dreams, they aren't as empty as my conscience seems to be. I have powers only lonely. My love is vengeance that's never free. [Music] When my misclinches crack it over, before I use it lose my pool. When I smile, tell me some bad news, before I laugh and act like a fool. And if I swallow anything evil, put your finger down my throat. And if I share, but please give me a blanket. Keep me warm, let me wear your coat. [Music] No one knows what it's like to be the bad man, to be the sad man. Behind blue eyes. The who, and behind blue eyes, well done to Maureen, who now has a full house. In fact, everyone who's had a go has now got a full house. [Music] Now why hasn't anyone covered this? [Music] Crying, finding comfort in the friends with you. Now it's just me and you. Trying alone, we used to get along. We used to love those days are gone. Playing with words, when there's nothing much to say. Searching to find what we lost along the way. Could it be one day our feelings changed? I hope we see it through. Because I just can't stand the ball of life without you dreaming. We're supposed to go over some wind, back where the love begins. When nights were so warm, we're stars we could wish upon. Now those days are gone. [Music] We had the chance, but we lost it all somehow. Could it be one day our feelings changed? I hope we see it through. Because I just can't stand the ball of life without you thinking. Long ago when we were young and free, love happened suddenly. We couldn't see where we were going wrong. Now those days are gone. Bucksfizz and now those days are gone. We'll have the answer to the Triple Decker after Cody Brennan and the Temptations. No, I don't either. This is called Ruby Baby. [Music] I got a girl and a Ruby in the name. She don't love me but I love her but you're the same. Ruby, Ruby, I love you. Ruby, you love it, yes I do. Ruby, Ruby, when will you be mine? Well, I got a girl and a Ruby in the name. She don't love me but I love her but you're just the same. Well, Ruby, Ruby, I want you. Like a ghost, I'm not gonna haunt you. Ruby, Ruby, when will you be mine? [Music] Well, I got a girl and a Ruby in the name. Ruby, Ruby, you love me but you're the same. Oh, Ruby, Ruby, I want you. Like a ghost, I'm not gonna haunt you. Ruby, Ruby, when will you be mine? Ruby, Ruby, when will you be mine? Ruby, Ruby, when will you be mine? On the swan label over in America, Cody Brennan and the Temptations and Ruby Baby. Now we've got to do the well done for the slip disc, sorry, the triple decker. And first person to correct answers to set the klaxnoff was Steve in northeast London. Anita, Crabtree, Stuart, Rundi, Patricia, Delivery Dave, Mick and Maureen also all got full houses. I think you've all done very well. Harry on, everybody. You join joining. Their song is the triple decker. And they were the platters. Red sails in the sunset. Fast on though. And Emile Ford. And here's his version. Red sails in the sunset. We're here out on the sea. Oh, carry my loved one. Oh, hold me safely to me. She sailed at the dawning moon. Oh, day long I've been so blue. Red hips and heels in the sunset. You know I'm just trusting in you. Yeah, we are married tomorrow. And we're going sailing tomorrow. Oh, yeah. Red sails in the sunset. We're here out on the sea. Carry my loved one. Oh, hold me safely to me. She sailed at the dawning moon. Day long I've been so blue. Red sails in the sunset. You know I'm just trusting in you. So it wings on my board. Head straight for the shore. We're married tomorrow. And we're going sailing tomorrow. Oh, yeah. Red sails in the sunset. We're here out on the sea. Oh, carry my loved one. Oh, hold me safely to me. Oh, carry my loved one. Oh, hold me safely to me. Oh, carry my loved one. Oh, hold me safely to me. Yeah. From feature story news in London, I'm Simon Gaitan. The U.N. Batman's Robin used to say it quite a lot. I would just wish I was old enough to remember it. It's time for three before the Beatles, whoever they were. I'm alone in misery. I couldn't find nobody to love for me. I've heard that I've been scorned and had no rubber since I've been gone. Misery, calm, misery. I said I wouldn't be born in the world. I said I've lost everything I had. My heart's broken and I'm feeling so sad. Misery, calm, misery. It's killing misery. I've been scorned and my heart's broken and I'm feeling so sad. Misery, calm, misery. It's killing misery. I said I wouldn't be born in the world. I said I've lost everything I had. My heart's broken and I'm feeling so sad. Misery, calm, misery. It's killing misery. It's killing misery. It's killing misery. It's killing misery. The Beatles didn't cover this. They didn't write it either. A little wiggle here, a little wiggle there. Hero wiggle, there a wiggle. Oh my gosh, but wait and see! Wait and see! Little this duck up's gotta belong to me. I know a very pretty girl, a pretty girl. I see her every day in the schoolyard. And when she comes my way in the schoolyard, I always say hello, hello. There's duck up with the nose in the air. Hey, duck up! Can't you see that I care? Hey, duck up! All I do is stare at a little wiggle here. A little wiggle there. Hero wiggle, there a wiggle. Oh my gosh, but wait and see! Wait and see! Little this duck up's gotta belong to me. She wears the tightest little skirt, the tightest skirt, that ever caught my eye in the schoolyard. And when she passes by in the schoolyard, I always say hello, hello. There's duck up with the nose in the air. There's duck up! Can't you see that I care? Hey, duck up! All I do is stare at a little wiggle here. A little wiggle there. Hero wiggle, there a wiggle. Oh my gosh, but wait and see! Wait and see! Little this duck up's gotta belong to me. A little wiggle there. Hero wiggle, there a wiggle. Oh my gosh, but wait and see! Wait and see! Little this duck up's gotta belong to me. Little this duck up's gotta belong to me. The Beatles soon changed the sound of music from this. I love how your eyes close, whenever you kiss me. And when I'm away from you, I love how you miss me. I love the way you always treat me a tenderly. But darling, most of all, I love how you love me. I love how your heart beats whenever I hold you. I love how you think of me without being told. I love the way your touch is always kept clean. But darling, most of all, I love how you love me. I love how your eyes close, whenever you kiss me. And when I'm away from you, I love how you miss me. I love the way your touch is always kept clean. But darling, most of all, I love how you love me. I love how you think of me. I love how you squeeze me. I love how you love me. She loves how they love her, and she still does, after all these years. Three before the Beatles, then Barrett Strong was first with a song called Misery on an early Motown release, then the Playmates, and the song called Little Miss Stuck Up. And we finished off with the Paris Sisters, and I love how you love me. Thank you. Well done to however far I got on the list. I think I mentioned Chris, Patricia, Tracy Nips, which got it right. Keith's got it right. So is Bruce. So is Pompey Keith, David H, and Richard G have got it right. Brian in Darmish has got it right. John in Darmish has got it right. Alberto in Brazil, you've got the artist. But the song that you've gone for was the one I gave as a clue for his name. It's not Sam Cook, whoever said Sam Cook. Oh, that was, yes, not Sam Cook. Now for Surgeon Boy in Belgium. They wanted to hear sympathy for the devil from the Rolling Stones. [Music] Please allow me to introduce myself. I'm a man of wealth and taste. I've been around for a long, long years. So many amends, so does me. I was around when Jesus cried at his moment without his pain. Me damn sure the pilot washed his hands and sealed his face. [Music] To meet you, hope you guess my name. But what's puzzling you is the nature of my game. Stuck around Saint Petersburg when I saw it was a time for change. Killed the saw and its ministers, and it staged screaming me. I wrote a take, held a generous rank, where the bliss free rage and the body's stank. Please to meet you, hope you guess my name. Oh, yeah, I was buzzing you is the nature of my game. Oh, yeah. I watched the gleam while you came there and creamed, bought with indicates, for the God's name. I shouted out, who killed the Kennedys, when and after all, it was you and me. Let me please introduce myself, our man of wealth and taste. My name tries for two of those who can kill before they reach my name. Please to meet you, hope you guess my name. Oh, yeah. But what's puzzling you is the nature of my game. Oh, yeah. Look it down in it. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Please to meet you, hope you guess my name. Oh, yeah. But what's confusing you is the nature of my game. Oh, yeah. Just the average cost is a criminal. Oh, listen to saints. As heads and sails, just call me Lucifer, 'cause I'm the need of some restraint. So if you meet me, have some courtesy, have some sympathy, and some taste. You long, you well learned by the test, or I'll lay your soul to wait. Oh, yeah. Please to meet you, hope you guess my name. Oh, yeah. But what's puzzling you is the nature of my game. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. For "Surgin' Boy" over in Belgium, the Rolling Stones, from the Beggars "Banclet" album, and a song called "Sympathy for the Devil", as requested by "Surgin' Boy". Now, we've still got answers coming in on this. Alberto is still the artist. What can I say about the song title, as well as being an exclamation that Batman's Robin used to say quite a lot during their shows. It could sort of take literally to be, how can I say, "You could ordain the bovine". Well, yes. For the, for the provinces of a clue, you could ordain the bovine. You use your tongue prettier in a $20 whore. What part of France do you come from? I am half Etoleon. Etoleon? I think he means Italian. I was brought up in nipples. [laughter] Nipples? Yes. You know the old sewer? See nipples and doom. [laughter] [music] She's got something that moves my soul. And she knows I'd love to love her. But she lets me down every time. Can't make her mine. She's no one's lover tonight. Well, then they should be so inviting. I want her all for myself. I'm ten-tishin' us. I'm getting proven by my mind. So, we're ten-tishin' us. You've got me by me. You've got me by me tonight. [music] Don't love me, baby, yeah. [music] Oh, while I listen, this is just a game. But just the same. My head is spinning. She's got a way to keep me on her side. It's just a ride. It's never ending tonight. Well, then they should be so exciting. I want her all for myself. I'm ten-tishin' us. I'm getting proven by my mind. So, we're ten-tishin' us. You've got me by me. You've got me by me tonight. [music] I'm feeling right now. [music] Tonight with me, she'll be so exciting. I want her all for myself. I love ten-tishin' us. I'm getting proven by my mind. So, we're ten-tishin' us. You've got me by me. You've got me by me tonight. [music] That's one of those groups who had a lot of hits on one side of the Atlantic, not on the other. The grass roots from America. And temptation eyes. Here are this week's vintage tunes. God save the king. [music] You've got to boil it up and go. Well, you've got to boil it up and go. Yes, there's my high-powered women too. Got to boil it up and go. No, she may be old. And 90 years, she need too old to make you share tears. She got to boil it up and go. Well, she got to boil it up and go. Well, there's my high-powered women too. Got to boil it up and go. Now, I told a girl I'll eat before last. The kids, she's coming to just a little too fast. She got to boil it up and go. Well, she got to boil it up and go. Well, there's my high-powered women too. Got to boil it up and go. [music] Well, look at your baby. I steal out at night. Ain't none of your business. You don't do your life. You've got to boil it up and go. Well, you got to boil it up and go. Yes, there's my high-powered women too. Got to boil it up and go. [music] Now, a nickel is a nickel. A dime is a dime. I need no girl if she wants one. She had to boil it up and go. Well, she had to boil it up and go. Yes, there's my high-powered women too. Got to boil it up and go. Now, I'm a killer chicken. She told it was a duck. She put him on the table with legs sticking up. He had to boil it up. Well, he had to boil it up and go. Well, never have to boil it up and go. [music] I say, it is now time to dust off this old gramophone record and put it on the turntable. [music] My brain is a mountain. So great is the sea. But you know that I have so great is what's got to hold of me. It's that great shaking fever. Good loving my baby ears. If I don't die tonight, I'll love I won't be no good to live. Great, great wheels are turning way up in the middle of the air. My heart, I see you yearning, great shaking fever there outside my heart. There's a great shake, shake, shake, shake, shake, shake, shake and fever there morning. You ask me your question, I'll tell you no lie, don't you know that? That is the gave me song. Good advice, you said that great shaking fever is a heart of rare disease. Once you leave your city, make your babies arms on when you get that load to me. [music] [music] You ask me your question, I'll tell you no lie, don't you know that? Doctors, the gave me song, good advice, you said that great shaking fever is a heart of rare disease. When you lose it in your babies arms on when you get that load you need. Great shaking fever, great shaking fever. [music] Two old rock and roll songs there, that was Dorsey Burnett and a song called Great Shaking Fever. Before that it was an artist called Big John Greer who was on the subsidiary of RCA in America in 1954. It came out on their groove record label and a song called Botled Up and Go which apparently was originally by Washboard Sam, whoever he was. Now with a bit on, before we do the rock steady, let's just update you on the scores because Johnny Darmish has got it right. Surgeon Boy has the artist, Anika's got it right. I hope you can join me, I did it as a favor to Phil but I hope you can join me. Bob in Harrow, yes you've got it right. [music] Who is that and what's the song called? Now rock steady, Noel Brown. [music] This is called A MERS Temptation. [music] All the time to test the will of power of me. Power of me, this feeling that I hold on. This won't let me be, maybe. This woman will leave me alone. She want to ruin my hair in awe of man's temptation. With man's temptation. I know I've got to be strong. I've got to find this heart alone. So I pray for what I must do. Oh I've got to hurt my woman or you. With man's temptation. [music] I've got another back home, who is it that be in my heart? Be it in my heart. Before I never, never thought no one else could ever tear us apart. Tear us apart. To each other we have been so true. Until the morning cobbles a love like you. [music] With man's temptation. [music] Noel Brown and a man's temptation. And to take us up to the answer to the slip disc. I think this is an instrumental by the honeycomb. The honeycomb is a thing called totem pole. [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] The honeycomb's and totem pole. Thanks very much for keeping me company. Hope you can join me for a quick one tomorrow from six till seven. Stay tuned for Cookie and the Thursday evening Swari. And there's a lot of well done. There was no Roycy, no sound cook, no Percy Sledge. But Mick got it right. So did Anita, Stuart, Dennis, delivery Dave, Maureen, Chris, Patricia, Tracy, Keith, Bruce, Pompey, Keith. David H, Richard G, Brian, Johnny, Derbyshire, Annika and Bob. All got the right answer. Alberto and Brazil and Surgeon Boy both. Or all I should say. Got the artist. I think you've all done very well. Thank you Mr. Grace. Have you on everybody? [music] That's the slipped, slipped, slipped, slipped disc. Put a half crown on it on the dance set and it sounds like this. It was Lee Dorsey and a song called Holy Cow. [music] I can't wait, I can't be. I said you walked out on me. [music] Holy smoke, what you doing to me. [music] I can't eat, I can't sleep. I said you walked out on me. [music] Holy cow, what you doing to me. [music] Holy cow, what you doing to me. [music] Holy cow, holy smoke. [music] Grace my fault, job I lost. I said you walked out on me. [music] Holy smoke, what you doing to me. [music] Walking in lights, my nerves on everything. I said you walked out on me. [music] Holy cow, what you doing to me. [music] Holy cow, what you doing to me. [music] What you doing, what you doing to me. [music] I can't wait, I can't deal. I said you walked out on me. [music] Holy smoke, what you doing to me. [music] I can't eat, I can't sleep. I said you walked out on me. [music] Holy cow, what you doing to me. [music] Holy cow, what you doing to me. [music] Bye bye everyone, bye bye. [music]
